What's next?

Well, I have to make the bracket itself. As you can see, there's a bit more cats than I was intending to have, which means that certain polls in round 1 will have more than just two options. I can already tell you that a lot of the cats from the same fandoms are going to be eliminated in round one. That's why I kept them in. I'm planning on making up the first round match ups based heavily on the similarities between cats and the fandoms they're from. ALSO as you've probably noticed, some cats come in a bundle. That's because they're a family. I'm not doing this to Kitty Softpaws and Puss (at least YET), because even though they also get married in the end, there's a huge gap in their submission numbers. If you're wondering, how big, you may want to know that up to Tigger from Winnie the Pooh (that is, almost the entire first pic) are the cats that got 2+ submissions, in their order of popularity.

Next step - brackets!!! I want to do this well and I hope I don't underestimate certain fandoms!!!

Chapter Thirty-Nine

Maera spent that evening engrossed in her secret collection of books, and was cautious to keep them well-hidden under her bed. She knew the information within those pages was not meant for prying eyes, especially in the unpredictable environment of the Red Keep, where spies loomed in the most unpredictable places. ‘A Caution for Young Girls’ proved to be an especially informative book. It was as if Maera’s distant great-aunt had known exactly what Maera needed to know.

One chapter had detailed about the sensitive bundle of nerves and the significance of stimulating it during sex, in order for the woman to receive optimum pleasure. Coryanne wrote that, of the men she had been with, most prioritised chasing their own high, rather than that of their partners. She also detailed of the hypocrisy of the Faith, who suggested women’s pleasure was seen as sinful, yet a man’s was a gift from the Gods, as ‘his seed could cause a woman’s womb to bear fruit.’ No wonder the Citadel has censored other copies of the book heavily. Maera thought to herself that if Lady Coryanne was still alive, they’d have gotten along very well indeed.

The following morning, Queen Helaena had granted Maera a brief respite from her usual duties as Helaena was experiencing pains in her stomach. She felt a twinge of concern about being dismissed during such a time, but she remained obedient to her Queen's command. Her new task involved spending time with the young Princes, Jaehaerys and Maelor, whilst their sister Princess Jaehaera was getting measured for her dress for the upcoming wedding.

The boys, aged four and two, seemed to be in need of attention and stimulation, and Jaehaerys had asked to spend the morning with his father, who was, unsurprisingly, not in the castle. He was probably stuck in a brothel in Flea Bottom, Maera thought, but to spare the little Prince’s feelings, she stated the King was away from the castle meeting with important Lords that morning. The disappointed face Jaehaerys displayed was much like Maera’s when she was young.

She could relate to the young boy’s desire for a closer relationship with his father, given her own experiences with Lord Jasper, who was often absent from Rain House for long periods of time. During his absences, Maera found solace in her brothers, seeking fatherly advice and attention from them. And even when the Master of Laws did return, he was interested in bedding his newest wife to further his line, rather than spending time with the rest of his large brood.

To entertain the young boys, Maera decided to take them to the training yard, accompanied by one of the nursery maids. She prepared for the messy task by dressing in her sparring gear of turquoise and black with her long hair pinned up and out of her face. Maera encouraged the nursery servants to dress the children in clothing suitable for outdoor activities, ones that they would not mind getting dirty.

The training yard was bustling with activity as Maera led young Jaehaerys and Maelor out into the open air. The clang of steel against steel filled the air as knights practiced their skills under the watchful eye of their master-at-arms, Ser Criston. Maera led the princes to a safer, more secluded gated area of the yard, away from the actual warriors and knights, producing some wooden weapons, shields and helmets for them.

Maera placed the helmets on each boys head before handing Jaehaerys a wooden training sword, its hilt smoothed from years of use. She crouched down to his eye level, a warm smile on her face. "Now, Prince Jaehaerys, you remember how we hold it, yes?"

The young prince nodded enthusiastically, gripping the hilt with both hands, his tiny face determined. "Like this, Lady Maera?"

"That's right," Maera praised, ruffling his hair affectionately. She turned her attention to Maelor, who was watching with wide, curious eyes. "And Maelor, you'll get your turn too, don't you worry."

As they began their practice, Maera gave them simple instructions, teaching them the basics of swordplay. She was patient and encouraging, praising their efforts with each swing and parry. She paid no heed to the warriors in the yard who looked on and commented on the audacity of a woman teaching the little Princes about sword fighting. However, Maera smiled to herself when she heard the remarks of the three squires she had beaten at sparring many moons ago, stating that the Lady was quite a skilled fighter.

Nevertheless, the children giggled and laughed as they swung their wooden swords at imaginary foes and monsters, lost in the thrill of the moment. Maera couldn't help but feel a deep sense of satisfaction as she watched them. It was moments like these that made her appreciate the bonds of family, even more so now that she was soon to be a part of the Targaryen lineage.

Memories of her older brothers in the training yard with her as a child littered her mind. Their initial teasing of her interrupting their training sessions evolved over time into admiration and interest. It was clear Maera had an innate skill with the sword, which was nurtured as she grew, particularly by Faran and Luthor, despite the constraints of women’s traditional roles. How Maera missed them dearly and longed to see them again.

Maera scanned the training yard, spotting Ser Criston sparring with another Kingsguard, and instantly thought that no one’s skill could match that of the One-Eyed Prince, who beat the Lord Commander often due to the dedication he put into his training. She had not seen him for a few days and couldn't help but wonder when she would eventually cross paths with Aemond in the Keep.

The books hidden beneath her bed held secrets that stirred thoughts of how she could even the power struggle between them when it came to sex. She was glad she had avoided Aemond’s presence since that night in her room. Even touching herself was not giving her the satisfaction that he had that night. And it had taken every ounce of restraint not to go to his chambers and demand that he give her more.

As the hours passed, Maera continued to instruct and play with the young princes, offering guidance and encouragement. Jaehaerys, the older of the two, tried to mimic her movements more precisely, while Maelor swung his sword with wild enthusiasm, giggling all the while. The cloudy sky above didn't dampen their spirits; instead, it provided a cool, pleasant atmosphere for their activities.

Then, of course, the fun was taken too far, and Maera was grateful for the nursemaid's presence as the two young Princes quickly turned their wooden swords on each other, playful at first but then quickly escalating to a squabble. The maid grabbed Maelor and Maera put her arms around Jaehaerys and the brothers were separated, receiving a gentle scolding.

Then, a change in the atmosphere grabbed Jaehaerys' attention. His violet eyes lit up as he spotted a familiar figure entering the courtyard. Aemond, clad in his characteristic black leathers and flowing overcoat, had arrived. Jaehaerys squirmed excitedly in Maera's arms and wriggled free, heading straight for his uncle, who crouched and waited with open arms. The Prince warmly embraced his nephew, a tender smile playing on his lips.

Aemond's gaze then shifted from Jaehaerys to Maera as he returned to a standing position. Their eyes met, and a playful spark passed between them. It was a subtle reminder of their passionate encounter, causing a subtle blush to paint Maera’s face. Her attention from Aemond was distracted by young Maelor, who tugged on Maera’s tunic with a whine, prompting her to bend down and pick him up. She positioned the youngest prince on her hip before approaching her betrothed and bidding him a respectful nod, her emerald eyes holding a glint of intrigue.

Maera couldn't help but comment on Aemond's presence in the training yard at an unusual time. She quipped in High Valyrian, "Angoda naejot ūndegon ao kesīr rȳ bisa mēriot, dārilaros Aemond. Ao l bodmagho rȳ tovi.”Surprised to see you here at this hour, Prince Aemond. You usually train at dawn.

Aemond, with a mischievous grin, reached over to ruffle Maelor's silver curls, who was sitting comfortably on Maera's hip. He retorted, "Sȳrī, skorkydoso ao gīmigon, issa riñnykeā? Ao issare sŷz rȳ tha īlva egros ginilaro. Nyke daor urnesi skoro syt.”Well, how would you know, my Lady? You've been rather adept at avoiding our daily sparring sessions lately. I cannot imagine why. He wore a faint smirk as he spoke, walking a fine line by alluding the reason for their lack of contact over the last few days.

Maera, returning his smirk, countered, "Avoiding is a strong word, my Prince. I've simply been concentrating on preparations for our upcoming wedding." Aemond hummed thoughtfully, acknowledging her point.

The tension between them was undeniable, a testament to the magnetic pull that bound them. Maera tried to maintain her composure and hoped no onlookers could sense the spark between her and the Prince. Her dark green eyes filled with a mixture of desire and uncertainty, and she found her thoughts frequently drifting to the memory of their intimate encounter every time she surveyed his form. The sensation of Aemond's lips upon hers, the feeling of his fingers on her pearl, lingered like a sweet ache, a tantalizing reminder of the forbidden attraction that simmered beneath the surface.

She wondered if Aemond was equally as affected by the magnetic pull between them, as he was able to manage and conceal the intensity of his emotions far better then Maera could. However, she could by the way his one eye locked on her form that there was a smoldering intensity that spoke volumes even in the most mundane of interactions.

Little Prince Jaehaerys stood between his uncle and Maera, clearly confused by the lingering looks and complicated High Valyrian spoken between the adults. Bored of the few moments silence, Jaehaerys, ever the inquisitive young Prince, gazed up at his uncle and pondered, "So, if Lady Maera is going to marry you, Kepus, does that make her my aunt?"

Maera chuckled and affirmed, "Indeed it does, sweet boy."

Jaehaerys beamed at Maera at this revelation. Then, he turned to back Aemond and asked, "Will you give me many cousins to play with?"

Aemond, his gaze warm, replied, "As many as my future wife will allow, little Prince." Maera couldn't help but smile; the notion of Aemond as a husband and father now occupying her thoughts. As cold and distant as he appeared on the outside, it was clear that Aemond held a special places for his niece and nephews in his heart. Hopefully this meant Aemond would be a caring and attentive father, a stark contrast to how his own father had been to him.

“An army of Targaryens! And I will lead them as I ride Ēbrion!” Jaehaerys yelled with excitement, his arms in the air in triumph, causing Maera to jokingly place a hand on her opposite hip.

“I think your uncle and I have much to discuss before I produce your army, my dear Prince,” she interjected with a smile.

Aemond nodded in agreement, his tone taking a more serious note, "I agree, my Lady. Perhaps we could discuss the planning of the Prince’s army during a walk in the gardens this afternoon. Chaperoned, of course, to maintain propriety," he added with a sly grin.

Maera's eyes widened with amusement, and she couldn't help but accept the invitation. "A stroll in the gardens sounds delightful," she replied, her tone light, and her eyes twinkling with humor.

The One-Eyed Prince departed with a nod, as Maera felt butterflies in her stomach, excited for their time together. The nursery maid approached and Maera kindly asked her if she would assist in getting the children back to their quarters, to which the young girl agreed.

The nursery in the Red Keep was a realm of wonderment and joy, designed to nurture the royal children who dwelled within its confines. A place where Maera’s own children would someday dwell, doted on by nursery maids and governesses. A large hearth dominated one wall, its fire providing a gentle warmth that filled the room. Above it, the portrait of Ēbrion that Maera had painted not long ago.

In one corner of the room were two small beds for the four-year-old twins, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera. Their beddings were soft and adorned with embroidered dragons, a subtle reminder of their noble lineage. Plush toys and dolls lined the shelves, waiting to be embraced in playful adventures.

In another corner, two-year-old Maelor's crib awaited him, similarly adorned with comfort and care. Beside the crib, a low table was laden with toys and building blocks, an invitation to creativity and exploration.

Stood near the entrance was little Princess Jaehaera, eagerly waiting for the return of her siblings who had engaged in a morning of fun, whilst she had been measured for a new dress.

"What did I miss?" Asked the little silver-haired girl.

Her twin brother, Jaehaerys, filled her in enthusiastically, boasting, "We trained in the yard, just like real knights!"

Jaehaera scowled at her twin and exclaimed, "That's not fair!"

Maera quickly reassured Jaehaera, saying, "Don't worry, Princess, there will be plenty more opportunities for you to train outside like your brothers." Maera said, placing a hand on little Jaeahera’s shoulder. “Tell me, how was your dress fitting?”

The distraction instantly brightened Jaehaera's mood as she proudly shared, "I will look just like my mother! It’s got a long green skirt and little golden dragons!”

Maera smiled warmly at her, before saying, “It seems you will definitely upstage me as the bride, Jaeahera.”

With the children settled, Maera thanked the nursemaids for their assistance and bid them and the children farewell before hurrying back to her own rooms. There, she had her maid, Thena, assist in preparing a bath for her, to remove the mud from playing with the children in the courtyard. The bathwater, warmed to perfection, filled the deep metal tub, and the scent of fragrant oils hung in the air.

Her hair was carefully undone and brushed smoothly, and Thena assisted her in disrobing from her training gear before helping Maera into a bath filled with fragrant oils and delicate petals. The soothing warmth of the bath offered a moment of respite before her upcoming meeting with her intended husband. Her heart raced at the prospect of the stroll, their newfound connection, and the unspoken emotions that danced in the air between them.

Maera sighed in contentment, sinking further into the soothing embrace of the bath. Thena, armed with a sponge and scented soap, began to gently cleanse her mistress's skin.

“Prince Aemond wishes to go strolling in the gardens, Thena. I think I should look my best for my betrothed, don’t you?” Maera inquired as the sponge rubbed her shoulder.

Her loyal handmaiden, smiled warmly as she continued her diligent work.“Indeed, my Lady. I take it you are more at peace with the idea of being wed to the Prince? I know you had your reservations,”

Maera's grin was impossible to miss, even in the midst of her bath. She thought back to how their initial interactions were laced with bitterness and anger. Now months had passed and their relationship had changed and grown for the better. Not what it was when they were children, but something different. Better, in fact.

"You know," she began, her words filled with a mix of fondness and astonishment,“I have definitely found some contentment.”

The notion of finding happiness and connection with Aemond, despite their tumultuous history, had become a source of hope in her life, and it was a sentiment she was eager to explore further

Lady Maera closed her eyes as Thena massaged her scalp, but couldn't seem to shake the furrowed brows that marked her concern. Memories of her recent encounter with Lord Larys, the Master of Whispers, haunted her thoughts. In the library a few days ago, his almost menacing tone had delivered a stark lesson on the perilous world of alliances within the royal court. Maera had no illusions about the true nature of the man – a snake in noble attire – but she couldn't deny the truth in his words.

"I'm no fool," Maera stated firmly, her voice tinged with a hint of frustration. "I know that marrying the Prince won't protect me. If anything, it'll put me at even greater risk of spies and threats." Her gaze locked onto her red-haired maid, who had become not just a servant but a trusted confidante. She spoke with determination, "That's why I need your loyal service once again, Thena."

Thena met her lady's gaze with unwavering loyalty, her own eyes reflecting the trust they had developed over time. "Of course, my lady," she replied with a nod, her voice carrying the weight of her commitment as she rinsed her Lady’s hair.

Maera leaned forward, instructing Thena on her plan. "Over the next few days, I want you to find trustworthy allies within the castle," she said, her voice low but resolute. "Maids, cooks, servants, squires – anyone we can count on. I need informants who can keep me up to date on what goes on in the Red Keep." Maera understood the value of information, especially in a court filled with secrets, alliances, and rivalries. She even emphasized, "Especially regarding matters on King Aegon and the Small Council."

Thena nodded in understanding, recognizing the gravity of the task ahead. With her lady's instructions clear, she stood up and offered her arm to help Maera out of the tub, maintaining the decorum of their roles. As she wrapped a towel around Maera's form, it was evident that their bond, built on trust and shared purpose, would be a vital asset in the uncertain days that lay ahead.

After Thena had meticulously dried both her hair and body, Maera moved to her ornate wardrobe. She contemplated her choices for a moment before selecting a dress in the bold colors of House Wylde. The gown was adorned with intricate button detailing on the bodice, and its elegant bell sleeves added an air of regal grace. The dress was cinched at the waist, designed to accentuate her every curve. It was a choice that spoke of both confidence and intention.

Thena couldn't help but notice the purpose behind her lady's selection and teased with a cheeky grin, "It seems you do want to impress the Prince, my lady." Maera playfully scowled at her maid's observation, her eyes gleaming with a mix of amusement and excitement.

As Thena skillfully worked on Maera's hair, she sectioned off half of it, twirling two front sections away from her face to create an elegant half-up, half-down hairstyle. The result was both timeless and enchanting, framing Maera's features beautifully. Thena proceeded to lace her lady into the carefully chosen dress, her deft hands ensuring a perfect fit. To complete the ensemble, she adorned Maera with a pair of dangling golden earrings that caught the light and added a touch of radiance.

Ser Arryk, her loyal protector, then entered the room as Maera’s preparations concluded.

With a polite and respectful tone, he offered his assistance. "Shall I escort and chaperone your meeting with Prince Aemond, my Lady?" His presence was a comforting one, a reminder of the support she had within the Red Keep.

Maera smiled appreciatively at the knight's offer, taking in his polished armour and kind hazel eyes.

"That would be most kind, Ser Arryk," she replied with a nod, her expression a blend of gratitude and determination. With her preparations complete and her escort in place, Maera was ready to face the prince, her heart filled with a mix of giddiness and apprehension.

Notes: I don’t know why it took me so long to finish this chapter but I think it’s cos it’s technically another filler and I’m too excited about the next one instead 🤣

The Raven and the Vampire

Chapter 2

Previously the raven and the vampire, had to redone this story to fix it thank you to everyone who read te original and will read this one

This is a jasper Cullen x oc reader daughter of Loki

Deep in the woods, the illuminating lights of the Bifrost open into a small clearing. Light rain is falling from the sky, but of course, to the humans, nothing is happening. It wouldn’t help to cause a scene now would it..Elara steps out her two trusted attendants/ guardians step out behind her

“So this is Midgard. How beautiful, just like the ancient Forests of Asgard”

“My lady, we need to find somewhere we can generate a homestead to mask our presence.” Mila speaks.

Mila was one of Sigyn's most loyal friends, She was a beautiful woman with long auburn hair and soft brown eyes. She held the same warmth about her that many of the healers of Asgard had but she was much more than that

Having been a maid to sigyn when she was young Mila quickly rose in the ranks and became not only an incredible healer but also a personal bodyguard and advisor to lady sigyn, practically an aunt to Elara and her two brothers.

“My lady, if you and Mila will follow me, I actually have already scouted the area. Up ahead is an area without so much foliage; it's secluded enough for us to not be detected easily, but not so far to draw suspicion. It will make a perfect homestead.”

“Perfect as always uncle lucas”

Lucas was Elaras second guardian for this adventure. Lucas wasn’t really your uncle, he was originally a warrior in asgards armies, having done everything to suppress his magic since he was young due to his family's belief in strength over magic. Until one day it finally exploded, my father found him and trained him, the two actually becoming friends. Lucas asked to be appointed as one of Loki's personal guards and Loki readily agreed, wanting a talented warrior and magician guarding his family when he could not be with them.

Elara and Mila follow Lucas up ahead, the clearing coming into view. It was a decent clearing perfect to set up a home without destroying any of the native foliage or wildlife.

“This is perfect with the little gizmo Mr. Lang gave to us, we should be able to make quite a decent home.”

Taking the small toy house from her pocket and to follow the directions Mr. Lang gave her.

“Ok, set the house where we want and then throw the small blue device at it. Let me make a shield just in case and then we can start moving in.”

Setting the model on the ground you throw the device and hurriedly step. Back as the house begins to grow and take form. Large bay windows make up the front while the slanted roofs will keep the rain from puddling anywhere, the house has a great porch overlooking the forest while all the wood is dark. It’s a beautiful modern home but was missing something

Using her magic, Elara softens the landscaping. Adding a front step, driveway and rocks to create a more lived in atmosphere

“ There, we are home sweet home… away from home. Now all we have to do is get comfortable and come Monday, thanks to Auntie Natasha, I'll be able to start at the local highschool.”

”Are you sure you're ready, little raven?”

“yes aunty im sure. I can feel it. This is where I'm meant to be.”

Monday rolls around with the seemingly never ending cloudy sky, light rain hits Elara's cheeks as her favorite motorbike a gift from Stark propels her towards the local school. It felt just like riding her horse back home, the wind in her hair and views spreading by, it felt normal, to her at last for when she pulled into the school's parking lot reality came crashing back.

At least if the look on the kids' faces around her told her anything.

It didn't occur to Elara that most teenagers don't ride motorcycles in the rain, ice and snow. Elara didn't really feel cold due to her heritage and had faced much worse than a slick road, so she thought nothing of riding the bike.

Well crap, not standing out a lot is not going well, but Elara couldn’t help it. The bike spoke to her this morning, oh well she adjusts her outfit and keeps moving forward is all i can do at this point.

What she didn't take note of though is the confused looks of the seven people across the parking lot.

The Cullen pov

“Well they said we were gonna get a new girl and damn does she know how to make an entrance look at that bike”.

“Emmett I’m pretty sure judging by her face she didn’t mean to make a big entrance” Rue Cullen exclaims as she stands next to her cute little girlfriend Alice and the rest of their coven

“It’s odd though I couldn't hear any of her thoughts, not a single peep.”

“Do you think she could be a like Bella”

“No idea.”

“Either way we should probably be careful around her. Last time we met a new person Edward couldn’t read we ended up having to defend her from a pack of rouges.”

“Rosalie babe chill it will all be fine” Emmett throws his massive arm over his wife trying to bring her some comfort.

“What about you, Jasper, did you get any readings from her?” Silence echoes around them

“Jasper, hello earth to jasper” Alice says waving her hand in front of her best friend's face.

“What, what were we talking about?”

“The new girl cowboy, did you get anything off of her?”

“ No,nothing just like Edward”

“ Well I don’t know about the rest of you but I feel like something good is gonna come with this girl. And I'm sure Bella will be glad there is a new person to take more attention off of her.”

“Sure Alice whatever you say sweetie”

Jasper, still in a daze silently agrees with Alice and Rue there’s something about this girl, something almost pulling him towards her. The other Cullens share a look as they wait for Bella Swan to join them at their cars so they can start another tedious day of highschool.

Elaras Pov

The building itself is somewhat old but well maintained. Taking a deep breath and fling open the door heading to the front office she heads inside to retrieve her new school schedule. The front lobby was brightly lit, and slightly warm, the office small with a little waiting area, ugly padded folding chairs, orange-flecked commercial carpet, notices and awards cluttering the walls, and a big clock ticking loudly. The only saving grace for the poor space was the multitude of plants that grew everywhere in large plastic pots. The room was cut in half by a long counter, cluttered with wire baskets full of papers and brightly colored flyers taped to its front. Behind the counter was a large, red-haired woman wearing glasses.

“"Can I help you?"

"I'm Elara, Elara Lane ,"

Immediate awareness lights the women’s eyes. Thankfully I was expected, Mila had come earlier in the month to help set up everything for my human cover, cause although Uncle Thor, father and everyone where well known and respected I was not and wanted to keep it that way, at least for now.

"Of course," she said. She dug through a precariously stacked pile of documents on her desk till she found the ones she was looking for.

“You must be very smart to most of these classes are advanced”

“Yes ma’am school has always been important to me and my family” and the 750 plus years of experience I had on the oldest person here didn't hurt either.

“Well I have your schedule right here, and a map of the school."

She brought several sheets to the counter to show me what my classes were and where highlighting the best route to each on the map, and gave me a slip to have each teacher sign, which I was to bring back at the end of the day. She smiled at me and hoped that I would like it here in Forks. I smiled back as convincingly as I could, education not really being my priority. Before i walked away to start the day

Fishing out the map I go around the cafeteria, towards building three with ease. The classroom was small, people pushing past me to hang up their coats on a long row of hooks. I copied them,hanging up my black leather jacket. Taking in the room I notice how boring this world seemed compared to Asgard, it's almost colorless in comparison. I also notice I may need to rethink some of the things I'm wearing, seeing as everyone is bundled up to fight the chill in the air. Not really feeling the cold due to my heritage left me sitting in a simple shirt looking very much out of place, maybe i should put my jacket back.

Before I can move to grab the leather, a tall, curvy woman whose desk had a nameplate identifying her as Mrs Jones walks in. Already liking the aura around her, I introduce myself.

“Good morning I’m the new student Elara Lane”

“Oh hello dear, welcome to forks and Ap English, I’m Mrs jones well find an empty desk and we can all get started. We are currently on page 394 of the textbook.”

Taking an empty desk at the back I managed to make it harder for my new classmates to openly stare at me, keeping my eyes forward and a kind smile on my face. Once the lesson started and everyone’s attention was directed at the teacher I took the opportunity to reach out with my aseir, trying to see if I could feel my soulmate.

The auras fill the room but nothing speaks out to me. Well that’s a handful of people out of the running. I can’t really decide if that's comforting or boring, well it's only the first class we'll see what happens in the next one.

Jasper's pov

Sitting in my first period class as the teacher drones on and on, i feel a prickling on the back of my neck, like an invisible hand reaching out for me, even though i'm in the back corner of the room, Rue nudges my side and gives me a worrying look, a silent asking of my wellbeing. Nodding back I went back to looking at the window and thinking again of the girl this morning. Could she be this feeling, it would make sense she’s the only new variable. I’ll just have to make it til lunch and i can speak with Edward and Alice on what they think or if they felt what i did.

elara pov

When the bell rang, a nasal buzzing sound, a gangly boy with skin problems and hair black as an oil slick leaned across the aisle to talk to me.

"You're elaura lane, aren't you?" He looked like the overly helpful, chess club type.

"Elara its Nordic” I corrected. Everyone within a three-seat radius turned to look at me.

"Where's your next class?" he asked.

I had to check in my bag. "Hmm, Government, with a Mr. Jefferson, in building six."

"I'm headed toward building four, I could show you the way…" Definitely over-helpful.

" oh also I'm Eric," he added extending his hand for me to shake

I smiled tentatively returning the gesture .

"Thanks."

Picking up our jackets and heading out into the rain. I could feel the several people behind us, who were trying to walk close enough to eavesdrop.

"So, this is a lot different than (insert random place) huh?" he asked.

“Very, it's a lot darker here than where I'm from.”

“Oh does it not rain a lot there,”

“No it does but I guess it just feels more blue here if that makes any sense”

“Oh no I get that.”

We walked back around the cafeteria, to the south buildings by the gym. Eric walked me right to the door, even though it was clearly marked and could have just as easily pointed me there.

"Well, good luck," he said as I touched the handle. Seeming a little deflated like he wanted to integrate me a little more

"Thank you and hey maybe we'll have some other classes together or something."He smiled hopefully as I continued inside.

The rest of the morning passed in about the same fashion. My Trigonometry teacher, Mr. Varner, who I hated instantly, his haughty personality already grating on my nerves,he actually made me stand in front of the class and introduce myself like i five. Reading him I could tell he hoped for the new student to be embarrassed so he could show some sort of authority. Typical bully behavior, unfortunately, for him, I was raised better fortunately for him I had a mission and would definitely have to watch my tongue while near him lest I get myself expelled.

After two classes, I started to recognize several of the faces in each class. There was always someone braver than the others who would introduce themselves and ask me questions about how I was liking Forks. I tried to be diplomatic, but mostly I just lied, a lot. At least I didn't need the map anymore. One girl that sat next to me in both Trig and Science, and escorted me to the cafeteria for lunch.

She was tiny, several inches shorter than me but her wildly curly dark hair made up a lot of the difference between our heights. I couldn't remember her name, so I smiled and nodded as she prattled on about teachers and classes. I didn't try to keep up, my thoughts occupied as I still hadn’t found my soulmate. She ended up sitting at the end of a full table with several of her friends, who she introduced to me. The boy from English, Eric, being one of them.

They all went around and introduced themselves. While they all seemed nice I could tell they were only interested in me cause I was something new to look at. I simply smiled and continued on with the small talk and questions people had been asking me all day when the doors in the back of the room flung open drawing my attention to the other side of the room. It was there, sitting in the lunchroom, trying to make conversation with curious strangers, that I first saw and felt them.

They were sitting in the corner of the cafeteria, as far away from where I sat as possible in the long room. There were six of them. They weren't talking, and they weren't eating, though they each had a tray of untouched food in front of them. They weren't necessarily gawking at me, unlike most of the other students, just quick glances of curiosity that I returned. There were three girls and three boys all looking around the same age group.

The three girls were all beautiful in their own right. The tall one was statuesque with a beautiful figure, her hair was golden, gently waving to the middle of her back, she reminded me of the elves from Alfheim or could be an asgardian if not for her pale skin. The short girl was pixielike, thin in the extreme, with small features. Her hair was a deep black, cropped short and pointing in every direction. Next to her holding her hand was a beautiful full figured coco toned girl with the prettiest curly hair I had ever seen.

Just as I was about to move to the males another girl walked up to the table. She was actually a very normal pretty compared to the others, her very pale complexion with long, straight, dark brown hair, a widow's peak, unique chocolate brown eyes and a heart-shaped face. She sat down next to one of the three boys sitting at the table. He was kind of lanky like your father, less bulky with untidy, bronze-colored hair. He was more boyish than the others, especially when compared to the big muscled boy ,who kind of reminds me of my uncle, except with dark, curly hair.

The last boy however was the one that caught most of my attention. He was tall and lean, but I could tell he was still muscular, and had beautiful honey blond hair waving around his head. While the rest of them were all looking away and back again trying to have at least some decorum as they quietly conversed with one another he just stared. I could tell the rest of them were talking about me, but couldn't find it in me to care as I was transfixed by the beautiful honey blond male.

Our staring contest was broken when the small girl suddenly rose with her tray — and walked away with a frantic look on her face drawing concern from the others.

"Who are they?" I asked the girl from my Spanish class, whose name I'd forgotten.

“That's Edward Cullen and his girlfriend Bella swan, she was actually the new girl last year. Beside them is Emmett Cullen, his girlfriend Rosalie and her brother Jasper Hale. The one who left was Alice Cullen; and the one she was sitting next to is her girlfriend Rue Turner; they all live together with Dr. Cullen and his wife." She said,

“They all live together, as couples?”

“yeah its a complicated story.” jessica the girl that was sat at the table with us spoke up

“Emmetts family were in an accident before they all moved here, what I’ve heard is that because he was dating Rosalie at the time Dr. Cullen being the supper dad he is, he adopted Emmet for Rose since Emmet didn’t have any other family left. Same with alice and rue. Even though rue isn’t officially a Cullen she still lives with them. She came out to her parents and the cullens took her in when her parents kicked her out" Her voice held all the shock and condemnation of the small town.

“You seem to know a lot about them” I can’t help but feel like this girl knows an awful lot and is not shy about speaking of others' family matters. It made me feel bad for the group sitting at the table, my whole life being taught etiquette and what she was doing. Now was incredibly rude.

“Not really,oh things ive heard they all are in a few years ago and it was the biggest topic around here, I think that Mrs. Cullen can't have any kids, and that's why they’ve adopted so many," she added, as if that lessened their kindness. I got the impression that she didn't like the doctor and his wife for some reason even though she knew an awful lot about them. With the glances she was throwing at their adopted children and their partners, I could only presume the reason was jealousy.

Throughout all this conversation, my eyes flickered again and again to the table where the family sat. More towards the blonde than the others as they continued to look at eachother and back to me no doubt trying to ignore the people talking about them. The lunch period was ending soon. I had to know why I felt this connection to the honey blond. Inhaling slowly I let my aesir fill the room. Putting out feelers for anything out of the ordinary, and as soon as it hit the family's table all of them looked towards me. Keeping eye contact I genuinely smiled, my soulmate was there and evidently he and his family were not quite human.

How interesting!.

Now the real question is what are they. Could they be enhanced like aunt Wanda or could they be a type of alien-like race here for sanctuary hmmm all the possibilities.

“So elara how are you liking forks?” Jessica asks from her side of the table, trying to bring the conversation and attention back to the group instead of on the cullens.

“Oh it's very interesting now. I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would.

“ Why did you and your family move here if you don’t mind us asking?

“It’s fine Angela. I actually didn’t move with my immediate family, my parents are very busy people and I wanted to travel a little. My uncle Lucus got positioned here for his job and I decided to stay with them for a little bit. At least until my parents get done moving around.”

Not technically lying, I tell my story to the group, I mean my parents are busy, they are royalty,however I can’t really tell a group of midgardian teenagers. I'm 800 plus years old and I'm only in forks to look for my soulmate.

“I do miss them though and my baby brothers”

“You have siblings?”

“Yes they were just born so they still have to be with my mum, who goes with my father everywhere.”

“What are their names” I go to say Narfi and Vali but remember those aren't really midgardian names,

“Their names are um Vance and Nate, their twins”

“Aww that’s so cute babies are adorable” Jessica gushes

“Oh crap guys lunch is almost over, what class do you have next elara”

“ I have art, ap foreign language and then ap history.”

“ I have journalism next but art is right next to it. I'll walk with you.”

“Thanks Angela.”

The bell rings and I quickly turn back to the cullens table where they have all disappeared. Fast things aren’t they , just more clues to the puzzle. Ill have to ask Lucas later on if he has any ideas.

once a lordling known for his beautiful voice, ronnet caron settled into the role of ruling lord and all the beauty he carried vanishing, reveal of his unkindness shining through even towards his own wife, whose only sin had been the inability to carry a child to term. fueled by spite more than the need to raise children, he sought out women whom he had dalliances with and put word that he would take in their bastards born from him.

three would be brought to nightsong — roy was the first. born to a lady's maid that was made to live under the roof of her mistress despite the betrayal enacted by them, maris did not last long. roy grew by himself, knowing to keep only to himself and out of both stepmother and father's way, until the second bastard would arrive. renyse would akin herself to a moon, but roy found her light to be one he very much needed. together, they yet took care of the third bastard brought to nightsong.

that was until matthos baratheon's war was won, and opportunity arose for kids of the stormlands to follow their liege to king's landing. roy half volunteered, half was offered by ronnet to be sent as a squire — a knighthood would serve to at least give him a prospect better than just the bastard of nightsong, whose father held little interest on after the affront was made. while he may have thought of the possibility of joining the kingsguard or the city watch when he'd become of age, the king instead took him under his wing, favoring the boy above most of the others. under matthos' guidance, he grew bold, strong and capable, seeing in the king a father he had never had; the sentiment would become one of the pinnacles of his life from then on, and his loyalty would belong to matthos above all.

when the greyjoy rebellion came, both roy, just entering adulthood, and his father, graying and bitter, joined the war efforts for the stormlands. while roy prevailed, finding his calling on the battlefield, his father fell; he'd be sent to nightsong with an infection that would be fatal, nothing to be done. nothing but to sign papers for legitimacy for roy and his two half-sisters, who would rise to the position of actual nobility and granted the opportunity to mingle, take official positions and marry just as well as any noble born.

roy's marriage, however, would only come to happen for necessity, from the ruined coffers of nightsong, left ravaged by war and his father's spending. from his wealthy, high-born bride, he found harmony, a competent ruling lady, and a mother to three of his children — would be four, had she not been taken by illness before the babe was to come. the offer of another marriage was refused, and, instead, the king saw to give him distraction in the form of a new position: the head of the city watch from king's landing.

for a good while, it was a good distraction but, unfortunately, it also exposes him to the worst of mathos' reign — attempted briberies, people stealing so they will not starve and getting punished for it, watching the lannisters taking over the city, even within his own men's ranks. though his position has grown to be enviable enough that people only refer to him as the bastard out of jealousy rather than disdain, he has begun to wonder if it is best to continue to remain blissfully ignorant and loyal to his liege or speak and suffer the consequences for it.

Dimensions and home planets

POTENTIAL TRIGGER WARNING: There are mentions of how sinners are tortured in hell.

1. Eylvhraszokjumni: It’s divided into 10 concentric spheres and the entrance is blocked by a large gate that’s delicately handcrafted from polished golden pearls. There is a golden booth that’s run by two angels, Kephatromus and Filahozepus, who oversee the trustworthy and indestructible list that contains the individuals that are accepted into Eylvhraszokjumni. In order to further prove the legitimacy of the list, Aynjuwobhet weighs the heart of each soul on a scale against the feather of Mulwazort. If the heart is heavier than the feather, they’re banished to hell or given to Aymeszowut and cast into eternal darkness. They’re banished to purgatory if the heart is lighter than the feather and when the scales are balanced, they’re accepted into Eylvhraszokjumni. There are two cherubim and two watchers who guard the gates of Eylvhraszokjumni, ensuring that no intruder tries to break in. Belvatrikhusis responsible for sending each soul to their corresponding sphere. There are four river that travel through the Primum Mobile of The Angels to the Fixed Stars of Faith, Hope, and Love: Pischedona, the river of gold and inspiration; Gihaszoten, the river of happiness; Hridazoktegus, the river of swiftness; and Phaszulokten, the river of copper and fertility. Eylvhraszokjumni is known for their luscious fields, heavily dense forests, fluffy clouds that surround the outskirts of each sphere, and architecture that’s a blend between Greco-Roman and Baroque. They also have beautiful mansions, gardens with flowing streams, ornamental springs, dense shrubbery, deepening shade, and trees that have bunches of low-hanging fruit. Eylvhraszokjumni is often referred to as heaven, the happy hunting grounds, and the promised land.

a. Moon Of The Inconstant: This sphere houses the souls of inconstancy where the dead have abandoned their vows. This ultimately means that they were deficient in the virtue of fortitude and often forcibly removed from their personal covenants. As the lowest sphere, their dome was made from jasper and and the veins of cold-blooded animals. Their main symbol and planetary rule is the Moon, which is called Lurszhawobemi and it simply means “moon or month” in the Æylphitus language.

b. Mercury of The Ambitious: This sphere houses the souls who did good in pursuit of fame, but due to their bloated ambitions, they were deficient in the virtue of justice. The dome of this sphere is made from the finest silver and purified hellfire. Their main symbol and planetary rule is Mercury, which is called Hilvagorszemun and it means “silver water” in the Æylphitus language.

c. Venus of The Lovers: This sphere houses the souls of faithful lovers, but they were deficient in the virtues of prudence and temperance. The dome of this sphere is made from vital fluids, ocean water, and the remnants of stars. Their main symbol and planetary rule is Venus, which is called Phusvertozija and it means “passion for sexual love” in the Æylphitus language.

d. Sun of The Wise: This sphere houses the souls who possess great wisdom and have effectively helped to illuminate the earthly planes of existence intellectually. Unlike the previous spheres, they weren’t deficient in fortitude, justice, prudence, and temperance. The dome of this sphere is made from white pearls and the veins of warm-blooded animals. Their main symbol and planetary rule is the Sun, which is called Phobazrukten and it simply means “bright or radiant” in the Æylphitus language.

e. Mars of The Faith-Warriors: This sphere houses the souls who possess truly good intentions and are willing to give their lives to the Æylphitus. As a result, they displayed the virtue of fortitude and these souls were either used to create stars or new angelic warriors. The dome of this sphere is made from iron, dazzling stones, and the moulted skins of newly accepted angels. Their main symbol and planetary rule is Mars, which is called Aylwehormiktus and it means “victorious one in the place of sunrise” in the Æylphitus language.

f. Jupiter of The Just Rulers: This sphere houses the souls who were willing to rule with good faith and uplifting fairness. As a result, they displayed the virtue of fortitude and these souls were either used to create the birds or new angelic judges. The dome of this sphere is made from brass, white gold, and the tears of mourning and acceptance. Their main symbol and planetary rule is Jupiter, which is called Brahzomusjepti and it means “giant lord of the sacred speech” in the Æylphitus language.

g. Saturn of The Contemplatives: This sphere houses the souls who have appropriately contemplated the meaning of existence and understood that the rules of fate are tied to predestination. As a result, they displayed the virtues of prudence and temperance, and these souls are close to the truth of the Æylphitus. The dome of this sphere is made from gold, multi-coloured garnets, and rubies. Their main symbol and planetary rule is Saturn, which is called Krunaphomezi and it means “shining cut” in the Æylphitus language.

h. Fixed Stars of Faith, Hope and Love: This sphere houses the souls of those who possess a beatific vision. They play a role in creating humble beginnings that are built off of a foundation of faith, hope, and love. The dome of this sphere is made emerald, heavenly knowledge, and divine light that’s incomprehensible to mortals.

i. Primum Mobile of The Angels: The Äylcephomus occupy all spheres of Eylvhraszokjumni, but this place is the birthplace of the older generations of angels. This sphere is moved by the spiritual essence of Äylcephinozur and the divine council. As a result, its rotating motion causes all of the other places it encloses to move. The dome of this sphere is held up by a massive, enigmatic lote tree, marking the boundary between accepted and forbidden knowledge. Many familiar and unfamiliar birds sit and sing on its branches, and its leaves are used to wash dead bodies. The lote tree becomes sturdier each day through the divine acknowledgement and tender care it receives from the angels.

j. Empyrean: This sphere is the source of all light, the elemental quintessence, and heavenly reckoning. It’s the dwelling place of the divine council and many Hirczalotepus Tejasozuri, including Äylcephinozur. Their characteristic smell is often described to be similar to the burning or charring of vegetable and animal matter. This sphere contains the Garden of Eylvhraszokjumni, the Fountain of Youthfulness, and the first weeping maple and bleeding oak. As the highest sphere, their dome is made from chalcedony, celestine, sunstone, moonstone, and blood red water.

2. Nifjazroghetus: It’s divided into 9 concentric circles and the entrance is blocked by a gargantuan land beast with big, watchful eyes, a large mouth that has prominent, carnivorous teeth, and a tongue that acts as a carpet. Kerabhonius sits on a stony throne on top of the beast’s head with Oyrthalenius standing behind her with a list of those who should be accepted into Nifjazroghetus. Kerabhonius and Oyrthalenius are responsible for guarding the gates of Nifjazroghetus, ensuring that no sinner leaves and devouring the living who try to forcibly enter. There are also two large minotaur-like guards patiently standing before the mouth of the beast with bladed weapons and impenetrable shields. Once Kerabhonius and Oyrthalenius have decided that an individual is accepted, the beast’s gaping mouth reveals a screaming pit of hellfire. Similar to Belvatrikhus, Verghulona are responsible for sending each sinner to their corresponding circle. Nifjazroghetus is known for their harsh coldness and blistering heat, mountains of skinned corpses, flaming cesspools, hellfire that surround the outskirts of each circle, and architecture that’s a blend between Neoclassical and Gothic. They’re also known for the five rivers: Stenogixa, the river of hate; Phlegatobius, the river of boiling blood and fire; Lethazo, the river of unmindfulness and oblivion; Ächerzonius, the river of woe; and Koctazus, the river of wailing. A gargantuan red, pale yellow, and black palace lies in the deepest centre of Nifjazroghetus on top of impenetrable ice that covers molten lava. This dimension is often referred to as hell, the underworld, and the abode of the damned.

a. Limbo: This circle houses the souls who lived an unremarkable life and have abandoned their earthly labours for something unfulfilling and selfish. As a result, the guiltless are damned to live in a deficient form of Eylvhraszokjumni. Lethazo passes through Limbo and those who drink from its waters would lose their identity, becoming empty husks of their former selves. This place is known for its light and dark grey skies, placid weather, various narcissi, and the Pnemazokhus who live here.

b. Concupiscence: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by lust. Those who have inconsistently committed lustful acts are buffeted back and forth by the terrible winds of a violent, endless storm. Those who have consistently committed lustful acts are used by infernal sex industries in order to perform and satiate various perverted desires or turned into unwilling sex dolls.

c. Overconsumption: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by gluttony. Those who have inconsistently committed gluttonous acts are blindly grovelling in putrid mud produced by the sulphuric rain. This mud shifts from molten to icy, which greatly depends on the passing weather. Those who have consistently committed gluttonous acts are forced to metamorphose into slabs of throbbing meat that reincarnate onto their hooks once consumed. They serve boiling water as drinks and the trees bear fruits that are like the heads of draconic beasts.

d. Avarice: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by greed. Those who have inconsistently committed avaricious acts joust each other by using large unbreakable rocks that are full of money and precious stone. Each sinner is forced to push these individual rocks up an active volcano, rolling away once they reach the top. Those who have consistently committed avaricious acts are used to make products and money. In order to make their punishment endless, they have the ability to continuously regenerate their body whenever a piece of them is used. Venomous serpents and scorpions are commonly seen in this area compared to anywhere else in Nifjazroghetus.

e. Ire: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by wrath. The inconsistent active wrathful are partially emerged in watery slime and endlessly fight each other. The inconsistent sullen lies beneath the semi-solid liquid and has stiff movement. The consistent active wrathful are forced to join a gladiatorial fight that goes on for an eternity. The consistent sullen are forced to sit in blazing chairs of rusty nails, while man-eating termites crawl over them. They have the ability to continuously regenerate and are used to create weapons and shields.

f. Apostasy: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by heresy. Those who have inconsistently committed heretic acts are trapped in iron maiden-like tombs consumed by hellfire. Those who have consistently committed heretic acts are flayed and crucified, being forced to watch others suffer. They’re also whipped and stabbed by infernal heretics on a daily basis. Their organs are used for numerous black markets and will regenerate them after dissection. This circle is guarded by iron walls and is moated by Stenogixa with a large, fiery eclecticism building in the middle, acting as an entrance to the lower parts of Nifjazroghelotus.

g. Barbarity: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by violence and are divided into only three different punishments according to the type they have committed. Killers, war-makers, plunderers, and tyrants are immersed in Phlegatobius, shooting arrows at those who try to escape or emerge higher than attended. The suicidals torment those who attempted or died by suicide, forcing them to metamorphose into grotesque trees that bear cocoons full of unknowable organs. These gnarled, thorny trees populate an area in this circle called the Wood of Callous Hangings. Blasphemers are stretched supine upon the burning sand, sodomites endlessly run in circles from flying fiery serpents, and usurers are forcibly put in a crouching crowd, huddling and weeping blood together. The entrance of this circle is accompanied by shattered stones that resulted from its frequent earthquakes.

h. Fraudulence: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by fraud and there are ten different punishments according to the type they have committed. Panderers and seducers make two files and march quickly in opposite directions, steeping on prickly bushes and fraudster demons of the same name whip them for an eternity. Flatterers are steeped in a tar-like excrement, while they aggressively howl and fight amongst themselves. Simoniacs are placed head-downwards in round, tube-like holes with hellfire burning at the soles of their feet. Sorcerers are forced to walk backwards for eternity due to their twisted heads, while being blinded by their own fresh and cold tears. Barrators are immersed in a lake of boiling pitch, being torn to pieces with claws and grappling hooks if they’re above the surface. Hypocrites are crucified onto a narrow track of flaming barbed wire with four large stakes. Thieves pursued and bitten by monstrous reptiles, who curled themselves around the sinners and bind their hands behind their backs. Counsellors of fraud are consumed by blinding white flames, while sowers of discord are endlessly hacked and mutilated. Falsifiers of persons, money, and words suffer various afflictions such as burning fevers, dropsy, thirst, and filth.

i. Perfidy: This circle houses the sinners who were overcome by treachery and there are four different punishments according to the type they have committed. Those who have betrayed their kindred have their necks and heads out of the ice, only being able to bow in order to protect themselves from the freezing wind. Those who have betrayed their country have their heads out of the ice, but are unable to move their necks. Those who have betrayed their guests lie supine on the ice, with their frozen tears covering their eye sockets. Those who have betrayed their lords and benefactors are fully submerged in the ice, distorted and twisted in every conceivable position.

3. Plugaboktezrin: It’s divided into 7 terraces and the entrance to Plugaboktezrin is blocked by a wolf made of rotting flesh and pulsating blood and the exit is guarded by a large black goat with red eyes. Each terrace is ruled by the 7 Deadly Sins, an notorious and well-respected group of fallen angels. These rulers are responsible for purifying the sins of those who have been granted redemption from the divine council. Plugaboktezrin is the middle dimension between Eylvhraszokjumni and Nifjazroghetus. Plugaboktezrin is known for their beautifully stunning dawn, hybrid wildlife, gorgeous marble statues, and architecture that’s a blend between Byzantine and Iranian. This dimension is often referred to as purgatory, the abode of purification, and the reunion between heaven and hell.

a. Pride: This terrace is ruled by Remuloktiah, the Sin of Pride, and she’s responsible for aiding the proud souls in purging their sins. They’re bent over by the weight of huge statues that represent humility on their backs that have the inscription of “The humble spirit cracked open the palm-kernels, bringing life to the starry firmament”.

b. Envy: This terrace is ruled by Penoduzhila, the Sin of Envy, and she’s responsible for aiding the envious souls in purging their sins. They wear penitential grey cloaks and have their eyes sewn shut with iron thread. They have to carry the messenger falcons of ancient titans and help with heralding the truth, while setting aside their biased jealousy.

c. Wrath: This terrace is ruled by Aynimolechus, the Sin of Wrath, and he’s responsible for aiding the angry souls in purging their sins. They walk around in acrid smoke that causes blindness and their mouths are sewn shut with gold thread.

d. Sloth: This terrace is ruled by Elihonuzba, the Sin of Sloth, and he’s responsible for aiding the lazy souls in purging their sins. They’re engaged in ceaseless activity that benefits all Æylphitus breeds, especially the Äylcephomus and Lorvaztekiphus.

e. Greed: This terrace is ruled by Zurishalonde, the Sin of Greed, and he’s responsible for aiding the avaricious souls in purging their sins. They lie face-down on the earthy ground and recite unknown prayers in the Æylphitus language, pledging their allegiance to higher planes of existence and the titans.

f. Gluttony: This terrace is ruled by Sopheklunivja, the Sin of Gluttony, and she’s responsible for aiding the gluttonous souls in purging their sins. They’re starved in the presence of fruit-bearing trees and far away livestock that will forever be out of their reach.

g. Lust: This terrace is ruled by Hersudolitja, the Sin of Lust, and she’s responsible for aiding the lustful souls in purging their sins. There is an immense wall of holy flame that every soul has to pass through in order to achieve full purification. They run counter with the sun, from west to east, symbolising their unholy concupiscent desires against the Æylphitus and creation of Cosmos.

4. Womb of Chaos: This dimension is the birthplace for all Hirczalotepus Tejasozuri and it’s often attributed to Chaos because they’re viewed as the creative mother and primordial abyss. It incubates the unborn in unnatural structures that appear to be a fascinating blend between Ancient Egyptian sarcophagi and medieval iron maidens. These pseudo-cocoons are encased in an ambiguous substance that looks like honey or semi-solid amber. It’s called melapozuhti (“fear of terrifying splendour” in the Æylphitus language) and above them is a blinding white void and this dimension infinitely repeats itself. The surface of the mysterious substance is guarded by the first son of Earth’s Mother, which is J’Pluchabtokreszind. Once a Hirczalotepus Tejasozuri is ready to be born, the pseudo-cocoon opens and their unique spirit leaves the melapozuhti and white void into their newly created body.

5. Stomach of Caligo: This dimension is often attributed to Caligo because they’re viewed as the destructive father and primordial mist. There is no such thing as night because the sky always stays a foggy red with a blazing, watchful yellow-orange eye that provides sunlight. In the centre of the Stomach of Caligo, there is a large tower dungeon that reaches into the sky and it’s built on a rectangular base with 35 successive levels of receding tiers. Half of the levels are deep within the earth and the entire height of the tower clocks in at 20153 ft (614263.44 cm). The tower is home to many Æylphitus such as Fajekhomusi and Æyldzritchons, and even ascended deities. The ground is covered in the skinned, soulless, ruddy corpses of those who weren’t accepted into Eylvhraszokjumni, Nifjazroghetus, and Plugaboktezrin as well as the corporal bodies of Pnematocius.

6. Somniferous Realm of Eternal Dreams: It’s a secret dimension consumed in eternal darkness and miniscule bioluminescence. It’s commonly believed by many that this dreamy realm is beyond the rising sun and deep within a cavernous rift in outer space. It’s home to the five dream titans and their loyal subjects who inhabit a nearly infinite castle with uniquely exotic, yet perfectly elegant decor and furniture. The creators and supreme rules consist of the following:

a. Phobazlestur, the Frightener of the Beastly Silhouette;

b. Ichelotus, the Resembler of the Deep Consciousness;

c. Phuntemosza, the Deceptive Sculptor of the Inanimate;

d. Morphaleszi, the Leading Fashioner of the Humanoid;

e. And Hepnazomus, the Inverted Torch of Resting Eyes.

The most prominent feature of this castle are two dimensional gates that transport dream-based spirits into the minds of various beings. The gate made from animal horns and antlers are used to send prophetic dreams from the titans and other supernatural beings. The gate made from ivory is used to send dreams that are false and possess no apparent meaning, but it has the contents of a person’s subconscious mind and their emotions.

7. Eylphruszomita: Nobody lives in the kingdom of Eylphruszomita, expect Tirchelomanus, Oberszutan, Spregathon Hobaglekinus, Bretomaldius Gulsomeria, Girtezolanus Tergwalodius, and the royal retainers and knights of the royal family. During the long daylight hours Fajekhomusi are allowed to open shops within the kingdom, but would have to leave by nightfall. The main residents, light elves and fairies, have houses made from decent-sized mounds or wooden, tree-like structures. Outside of the residential area, there is a heather-covered moorland with golden fields filled with exotic and familiar wildflowers. There are a ton of mountains, greenery, fields, forestry, ponds, lakes, and rivers, which strengthen the Fajekhomusi relationship with nature. Fairy rings act as portals between Eylphruszomita and the mortal plane of existence. Paths and directions are often maze-like, which makes unfamiliar travellers get lost relatively easily unless they have a trustworthy guide. It’s said that their food and drinks produce hallucinogenic and euphoric properties for non-Æylphitus. Gold and numerous rare precious stones are very common in Eylphruszomita, and they’re used for all sorts of mundane objects. This dimension has all four seasons, but the daylight hours are longer than nighttime hours.

8. Demiszorpha: The Theszarpoks and Felapothuki call their earthbound and perfectly well-kept abode Demiszorpha. There are numerous ecosystems from coral reefs to taiga in order to accommodate the various environmental needs of each Theszarpok. Demiszorpha is ruled by a democratic government that’s made up of numerous political members that make up most of the animal kingdoms. There are sustainable residential areas in each biome and they put a huge emphasis on uplifting equilibrium through a clean environment. According to legend, there is a fogbound town located somewhere in Demiszorpha that the Felapothuki inhabit. They’re known for housing the first temple of Earth’s Mother as well as three monumental statues of Buhemozrita, Liwatozhendus, and Zekwaboruchni respectively.

9. Olympus: This dimension can be found by entering through an invisible barrier on Mount Olympus, which leads to a pair of golden gates that have a heavenly shine. Ziesowa is the ruler of Olympus, but after he was kicked out due to his adultery, misogynistic views, and narcissism, Herivota took his place. The palace of Ziesowa and his family has a fairly simple layout with a central hall, private bedchambers, and storage rooms. Within Ziesowa’s palace, there is a golden-floored hall that acts as a council chamber and feast hall, providing The Pantheon members an expansive view of the world below allowing them to observe humanity from the heights. The golden tables and tripods of the feast were Golekhamiv that had been animated by Hespazotun, trundled in and out of the hall as required. Other members of the Greek Pantheon dwelt in fabulous palaces of marble and gold with bronze foundations. These palaces were surrounded by cloistered courtyards with golden pavements and there are a few scattered stables for immortal horses. Its dimensional foundation is a bronze dome with bright upper air, which is lavishly covered in clouds, snow, and the path of stars. The Pantheon members who live in Olympus feasted on ambrosia and nectar, substances created from the meadows of an encircling river, human and animal corpses, and the smoke of sacrificial offerings wafting into their dimension.

10. Asgard: This celestial city can be accessed by entering a rainbow hole, Bifrost, below the roots of a massive ash-yew hybrid called Yggdrasil. Bifrost connected the members of the Norse Pantheon to the human world and it was guarded by the omnipresent Heimodazul. It appears to be on the outskirts of Olympus, surrounding itself by a great wall just in case a conflict arises between differing Pantheons. This great wall is made from enchanted stone, and there is a forest of trees that bear golden apples of longevity. Valhalla is a truly palatial fortress of gold featuring hundreds of rooms and doors, and Thodenuraz’s own hall called Bilskirnir. Valhalla is the home of Odersvani and the abode of his devoted heroes that were slain in earthly battle. Its sprawling grounds featured two enormous trees, Glasir and Laeradr, whose blood-stained, silver-tinted leafy boughs hung over its rooftops. The ceilings are covered with golden shields, the rafters are made from pristine spears, and the great benches were strewn with glistening breastplates. Glaðsheimr is a heathen hof where Odersvani’s hall of Valhalla is located, containing thirteen seats for the male Norse Pantheon members. Right next to Valhalla is Vingólf, which is an altar hall owned by the female Norse Pantheon members, righteous devotees, and divine soldiers. Glaðsheimr is made from gold and Vingólf has a stunning forge where the women, girls, devotees, and soldiers crafted objects of gold from. Thrudheim is the thunderous home of Thodenuraz and Breidablik is the luminous and beautiful home of Baldevroz. Fólkvangr is a meadow for the devoted slain heroes of Fretzuwoja to reside for the rest of eternity and Sessrumnir, a sprawling palace in the form of a great ship, is located.

11. Uymenozlaidh: This technologically advanced planet is home to all sorts of Uyxithlokazeb subspecies. Rhoclendavius Hulevotina L’Dimenotragus, an avatar of Ymabjelphorvius, is the ruler as well as main law-maker and mediator, and he places the sturdy protection of his planet on his most trusted servants and his army. Uymenozlaidh is known for its bustling cities with rich and honest industries, flying cars, exotic items, peaceful residential areas, contemporary and neo-futurism architecture, and multicultural food and civilians. It has a similar atmosphere to Earth and they only have one boreal forested landmass that’s untouched because it’s where all of Uymenozlaidh’s land animals live. Besides land animals, they have aquatic life and appropriate ecosystems that fit both types, but birds don’t exist in Uymenozlaidh. 58% of the planet is made up of freshwater water with one westside 3.2 to 4.9 million km^2 patch of saltwater that’s called the Trapezoidal Vriktejophulsza. There is no such thing as winter and summer, so the planet always experiences the weather of autumn and spring. Their weather phenomena consists of massive superstorms, small dust devils, acid rain, extreme lightning, downbursts, derechos, and wild temperature swings. They have five moons orbiting around Uymenozlaidh: Zerjablophinkus, Flurkbaszjomne, Psuvezrojikla, Gromjerszulakt, and Vinmazorkuphet.

12. Ljubazkosherd: This planet is far more technologically advanced compared to others due to its antiquity and the extremely intelligent Lacebozritus Reptuzolvas. They’re ruled by a federalist, slightly aristocratic government with one or two cultural elders that help to make important decisions and set up various laws and norms. Ljubazkosherd is known for its secret black markets, wealthy residential areas, rich mineral deposits, and high-tech and Art Deco architecture. Their natural biomes consist of tropical rainforests, deserts, and grasslands, and the freshwater, self-replenishing ocean makes up 36% of this planet. The only form of fauna that they possess are all sorts of exotic, extraterrestrial bugs from beetles to spiders and centipedes to moths. Winter doesn’t exist on this planet, but they do experience the weather of autumn, spring, and summer all-year around. Their weather phenomena consists of heat bursts, severe thunderstorms, dust storms, tornadoes, jet streams, blood rain, derechos, and tropical cyclones. They have three moons orbiting around Ljubazkosherd: Ruktazlohemni, Wlusvaktozrine, and Bheszulophrija.

13. Ghustrapodemi: This planet is the sunny, beach-infested home for both Blodezruntha Ugakhozels and Schzlanjeko Atikhozrupes. The Ugakhozels are the rulers and soldiers of this planet, while the Atikhozrupes are the workers and general caregivers. Ghustrapodemi is known for its 1380 beaches, exotically mountainous regions, sustainable agricultural areas, culturally designated places for dance and music, and Neolithic and Indo-Saracenic architecture. The planet is made up of purplish bodies of water that are 37% freshwater and 41% saltwater. Ghustrapodemi lacks any fauna, but they do possess distinctive, self-replenishing flora that both Uyxithlokazeb subspecies can sufficiently live off of. Their exquisite landscapes resemble tundras, tropical rainforests, and chaparrals, and they only experience spring and summer. Their weather phenomena consists of supercells, storm surges, heat lightning, extratropical cyclones, heat waves, rainstorms, gales, landspouts, and waterspouts.

14. Zrekjablophinus Glukomexisza: This comet was the supposed original home for the older generation of Cuhejzlostrian Menvuzrotas and their supreme creators. There isn’t much information about Zrekjablophinus Glukomexisza, but legends say that it was eaten by a cosmic serpent or went supernova. In reality, it mysteriously turned into the hospitable planet of the Regavozlus Khotzulergina. It’s the most extravagant and richest planet to ever grace the multiverse, and all of its water, food, flora, fauna, seasons, and weather are artificially produced. Zrekjablophinus Glukomexisza is known for its elegant shopping malls, luxurious residential areas, tranquil bathhouses, gladiatorial stadiums, and Romanesque and Colonial Revival architecture.

15. Wrutjaklozhe: This pocket dimension is the abode of the Philazroktenus Aveloszidhs, their handcrafted slaves, and their other creations. The sky is covered in a thick grey-ish smog and most of the landscape is made up of precious minerals, crystals, rocky caves, snow, and minimal plant life. They live underneath the surface of Wrutjaklozhe as it’s practically unlivable outside due to the extreme toxicity of the naturally occurring smog. The Philazroktenus Aveloszidhs and all of their creations live in cavernous cities full of biomechanical intricacies and interesting technological devices.

16. Knidezrosa: This was the original home dimension of the Sciphurjoza Marjevogius. It was one gigantic ocean full of freshwater and it was the size of two and half Earths. It was full of coral reefs as well as flora and fauna that was fully capable of living in water. There were six oceanic volcanoes that they believed were a gift of appreciation from the titans. The Sciphurjoza Marjevogius had impressively advanced technology that’s able to resist all sorts of water conditions. 17. Knidezlosjuht: This is the new home of the Sciphurjoza Marjevogius, which is a large moon that doesn’t orbit around any known planet. It has deep lakes, marshes, and ponds, and the gravity was partially less dense than Knidezrosa which forced the Sciphurjoza Marjevogius and the wildlife they brought with them to quickly evolve. They were able to evolve effectively through numerous genetic experiments, so they’re now capable of also breathing on land and are able to easily adapt to high and low gravity. After a few years, they were able to terraform their new home into something that mostly resembles Knidezrosa. Instead of volcanoes, they were only able to create six geysers, so that means that volcanic rocks aren’t a part of their new infrastructure. Knidezlosjuht doesn’t have any proper seasons, but it still experiences specific weather phenomena associated with each one. Their weather phenomena consists of freezing hailstorms, violent winds, heat waves, tornadoes, heavy downpours, bomb cyclones, thunderstorms, whirlpools, storm surges, waterspouts, and cloud inversions.

And Wedding Bells Will Ring

So this hit me during work and once again figured, I have to have ~Feelings~ so do ya'll.

Sky felt stiff as she leaned against him, a drink in both of their hands and the low atmospheric murmur of the tavern's other patrons around them.

His hands felt sweaty and he could swear that his heart would beat right out of his chest. How she didn't hear it was beyond him.

They were all in Twilight's Hyrule and having been dropped near his Castle Town, Twilight had immediately brought them to be introduced to a group of friends previously known as the Resistance.

After the introductions had been given, Telma had offered the group a safe place to relax and a couple of drinks.

Some of their group had decided to head to the offered beds after a few drinks, leaving Twilight, Warriors, Sky, Time and their only female companion to share a few more rounds in a dim quiet corner.

Somehow the topic had gotten onto their love lives with Twilight waxing lyrical about a 'Princess as beautiful as the setting sun' and Warriors talking about a very nice lady he'd known in the army who 'tragically' had dumped him for another officer.

Time had only smiled mysteriously when asked and Sky himself had had to avidly deny any connection to his Zelda and then gone bright red when asked if there was anyone else.

He would rather face Demise again than confess that he had given away his heart, let alone in front of the one he'd given it to.

The atmosphere was relatively lighthearted.

And then she opened her mouth.

"Sorry, Warriors, but I think I may just have you beat."

Everyone paused and then narrowed in on her as she smiled into her drink.

Warriors leaned forwards. "Oh, really? Do tell. If you can beat my tale of love lost, I'll buy the next round."

She tilted her head and gave him a challenging look. "You sure?"

Warriors held out a hand and she shook it, then dug into her pouch.

Sky peered around curiously as she pulled out a small bound book he'd seen her scribbling in previously. He'd thought it was her journal.

She opened it and for a second, he thought he saw his face and a rough sketch of him before the pages flicked and found a picture, a photograph Wild had called it.

She held it up and passed it over to Warriors whose eyes went wide and his head whipped back to her.

"You...?"

Twilight and Time looked over and the former whistled. Even Time was staring at the picture with visible shock.

She smiled again then plucked the picture out of his grip to show it to Sky.

His heart plummeted and he felt his blood turn to ice.

In the picture were five beaming women. Four were in near-identical green dresses and in the middle was her.

Dressed in a beautiful white dress and veil with a bouquet of red roses and white tulips.

It was a wedding picture.

Her wedding picture.

Sky kept staring at the picture, barely hearing the question that Twilight asked.

"You're married?!"

She let out a small snort that Sky felt rather than heard and he whipped his own head back to stare at her even as she addressed the others.

"His name was Jasper. We'd known each other for two years before he asked me on a date. Two years of dating. Then a year of engagement because we wanted to save up for the wedding and a house together. Then the happy day came and that picture was taken an hour before we were about to say our vows."

It was only because Sky was so close that he could see the small tremble in her lip as she smiled. She licked her lips and then continued, making Sky's heart wrench itself out of his chest.

"I should've known something was up when he started crying when I entered. They weren't happy tears. I got to the altar and the priest started and when we asked to say our vows, Jasper stopped and apologised to me."

Her eyes were far away and Sky felt his whole body drop. This was worse than he thought.

So much worse.

"Apparently, his childhood friend had confessed the night before that she was in love with him and begged him not to marry me, but her instead. And he agreed."

Sky couldn't help himself as he pressed a shoulder against hers and felt her slump against him easily.

"So he told me, not in private but in front of all our family and friends and basically the entire village, that he'd realised he was in love with her and not me and that he wanted to marry her. She came out of the crowd and held his hand. It was like looking at two strangers."

She paused and Sky could feel the rage that had killed a god swell up in him and such great sorrow.

"I hope you punched him." Warriors murmured and Sky agreed silently.

She shook her head. "I was in such a state of shock that I didn't really do much. I ended up just... smiling...and... took off my veil, put it in her hair, gave her the bouquet and told them I wished them well. Honestly, it was a miracle I got out of the area without crying even if I did spend the next three hours sobbing in a nearby stable after I stole a horse."

Sky could envision it easily. The way she would slap on a small shaky smile to cover her hurt. Plucking the veil out and gently sliding it into the other faceless girl's hair. Pressing the flowers into her hands and the small gentle voice filled with sincerity. The tears swallowed until she was free from the crowd before streaming over her cheeks. Grasping that pretty white skirt and running until she could swing onto a horse and ride as far away as the horse could run.

It was heartbreaking.

She snorted bringing him back to the conversation. "That poor stablemaster had no idea what to do."

Sky leaned further into her, hoping she'd draw strength from his presence. He was furious at this man and he'd hope that he never meet Sky.

"I heard that they did get married, using my wedding. Jasper did pay me back my half of the costs for the wedding and our house. But they ended up leaving a few weeks later for a different village since a lot of people weren't happy. Even his mother, who liked her more than me, was angry on my behalf. She made me a lot of food."

She sighed and took a swig of her drink. "I left myself not long afterwards. I just... couldn't be that girl anymore. The poor pitiful girl who got left by her fiance at the altar. The girl who stepped aside gracefully even as her fiance married another woman at her wedding. I just couldn't be her anymore."

There was a silence as her words sunk in.

Sky fiddled with the photograph and then asked the question he was dreading. The happy smiling bride looked the same age as his friend.

"How long has it been?"

She titled her head and looked up at him with a sad smile. "Six months before I met you guys."

Not even a year ago. Sky wanted to punch something. He wanted to hold her close and swear he'd never hurt her like that. That he could never hurt her like that.

But judging from the barely healed look in her eye, it was too soon.

Sky wouldn't put that on her. He'd have to swallow his feelings for now, maybe forever so long as he wouldn't hurt her.

She bumped his shoulder and her smile turned happier. "Hey, I met you guys." She looked at the others and grinned at them. "I think it's a pretty good trade myself."

Time piped up, clearly unable to hold his own curiosity in. "Why keep the photograph?"

She shrugged. "I wanted a reminder. Of how easily things can change. Of who I was compared to now. That girl's world was so small compared to mine. She barely knew how the world worked. I have you guys and I've learned so much from travelling." She paused thoughtfully and grinned smugly. "Also I looked amazing."

Warriors saluted her with his own drink and a laugh. "Well said, my friend! And for that, I will concede defeat." He stood and left for the bar.

Twilight held up his drink. "Well, here's to a broken heart and the assholes who broke them."

She giggled and tapped her drink against his. "I thought you still liked her."

"Doesn't mean she wasn't an ass sometimes."

She laughed and slumped back into Sky's side easily. Time turned to Twilight and asked him to elaborate which turned into the story of how they couldn't stand each other at first when Sky spoke quietly into her ear.

"We've got your back. No matter what happens. You know that, right?"

She looked up at him with wide trusting eyes and leaned her cheek on his shoulder as she entwined her fingers in his.

"I know. I'm so very lucky to have such wonderful friends like you."

Sky swallowed before cautiously resting his own cheek on her head.

He knew he wouldn't confess to her, for a while or even at all. It was clear she still had issues, both with love and with trust and it would take a calmer time than what they had to work through those, but for now, he'd have this and pretend that wedding bells wouldn't haunt his dreams that night.
