"Oh... well it's a great piece of cake." He just conformed to his fate.

What about Erin ‘Spider-Gwen’ Hasko — a Spider-Woman who like Gwen Poole is a girl from (a version of) the real world where she was an actor playing Spider-Woman before being recruited by the Web Warriors to become a real one. No powers so to speak of, just three martial arts and some web-shooters she has to be careful with (what with a physique no greater-than-that of Hollywood-trainer-level, which is still pretty good, enough for herself to hold her own): anyway, I feel an interaction between her, the real Gwen Stacy, and Gwen Poole, could be quite fun.

TBH I needed to google her since I did most of my marvel comics reading like a 10 tears ago and wiki says she only appeared in two issues of Web Warriors in 2016. Which may not be accurate but oh do I feel you my friend. Neat little character that had potential that went underutilized. That's comic books for you :<

I don't know anything about her so I most likely won't draw her but I must say

her suit may be slightly overdesigned (thank you movies influence? i guess) but i really dig the turtleneck/bandana idk-how-to-call-it thingie. It goes nicely with the hood. oh and the pink blue pattern under her arms is neat :3

4 - Favorite iterator? MOON. NO CONTEST. She's wonderful, sweet, beautiful, and I love her so dearly I do have to say I am a bit bias because I already really love 'Summoned by tragedy but this chooses to be kind' type characters, but Moon takes everyhting I love about them and expresses them tenfold She was already nice to begin with, that's why she named herself Big Sis Moon after all, and even after all the pain she's gone through, if you're kind to her, she'll be kind to you right back. Which I find so very sweet Especially with her conflict with Pebbles. Even after all the hurt he's caused, even when it's in her right to completely cut contact with him forever, she still chooses to care for her brother. And together, while they're both still doomed, they have each other now. They're still family after all is said and done and I love that so much And I just love how sweet she is the slugcats. I did a pearl-quest on my Survivor run, and while getting all the pearl was incredibly diffcult, the pilgrimage to Moon made it all worth it, hehe. Her dialouge is so charming and is such a treat to read, and they way she talks back to the scug while reading every so often melts my heart. And the way she starts calling them little archaeologist after enough pearl reads is perfect ALSO IN GOURMAND CAMPAIGN WHERE SHE SAID 'My last vistor was even sick' I CAUGHT TEAR. SHE CARES ABOUT THE SCUG, SHE TAKES SO MUCH Also another thing I like it how she's responsive to how you treat her. Again, she's kind if you're kind to her, but if you've hurt her/if you're rude she response to that. That just makes her more grounded to me, that she's a person that's already gone though enough and she won't tolerate rudeness especially in her weakened state A run-up for a favoite iterator would be No Significant Harrasment. I will admit I haven't read all of the brodcasts yet, so I could be missing important information about him, but for now to me he's a silly goofball. A goofball that truly loves and cherishes his friends deeply and is willing to do anything to make sure they're okay I think about his Garbage Wastes brodcast a lot. How he sounds so deseprate and broken hoping for Moon to say something. For her to be okay. I also really like he's talks with Red Sev, they feel like such good friends and they're great comforts for each other during Spear's campaign. Also I have a running joke in my head that he's 'Green Zacharie from OFF'. It makes no else laugh but me, and I've expected this 7 - Favorite in-game creature? SCAVENGERS. I LOVE SCAVS SO MUCH!! Again, very bias pick because I absolutely love observing intelligent life without human (or in this case Ancients) interfence BUT LOOK AT THEM!! Scavs are such smart creatures and their animations and gestures truly reflect that these are intelligent creature worth understanding and loving They have personality, moment to moment goals, fun interacts, and I could wish them for hours OMGA I also feel to special when a scavenger/a groups of scavengers starts following me around. I feel like I'm part of a family, that the scavengers are geniunely interested in my slugcat and want just be around me or protect me Sadly my love for scavengers is the reason why I can never play Artificer's campaign. I can't bring myself to hurt scavenger, when I do it on accident I reset the game pfffff. I can't imagine the heartbreak I'd go through knowing I can't even look at a scavenger without being ready to kill it If I ever finally sit down to do it, I'd love to analysis the art around each Scavenger Toll/Territory. My goal would be to pick apart their artwork and camp layouts to see that it means about the region's cultures. Like what they vaule in their art, what patterns certain patterns could mean, what's similar what's different, the works!! I love scavenger so very much, they're so precious to me, and if we ever get offical merch for them I'd buy like 10, hehe

I am a nonsexual age regressor, please help me keep this space child friendly!

I regress as a coping mechanism. I have bipolar, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Autism, DIDand ADHD. I have struggled with mental illness my whole life and found that age regression can really help me if I do it right. So far, Bluey helps. I luv bluey!!

I can be nonverbal when I am small but it depends. Sometimes I'll talk to my stuffies because they always listen to me and are sweet to me. I like to chew (nom nom!) on something when I’m smol, bottles are fun but sippy cups are the best regardless of age. Binkies and chewies are nice too. I can switch between my ages pretty rapidly . I'm new to this so I don't know everything I need or like when I'm regressing. I Love my stuffies, I like Bluey, I like DuckTales sometimes when I'm a bit bigger, and um my stuffies! I have a lot! I do know that when I'm small I need to be reminded to eat slow, I will make myself sick by eating too fast (Nom nom nom!!). I also need lots of stimulation since that AdHD seems worse when I'm little. TV and drawing with crayons or colored pencils is one such activity. Sometimes tho I like to come on here and be smol. I want to interact with the momma's and daddy's more and I want little friends but I get so scared sometimes. I've discovered I experience what is being called Yin(?) Or Impure(?) Regression.

My special interest rn are Dragons because dragons are amazing and strong and brave! Rawr!! Space because I come from the stars! The Ocean because it's so pretty and big big also scary and mysterious and blue!!!, Cryptids/Fae stuff, I like the pretty wings and the dresses. I want to be a small fairy in a tulip. A dragon fairy!! As well as various cartoons and my stuffies! I was mean to them and I apologized and they forgave me and I love them so much.

I like purple and blue, and pink but only soft pinks and yellow! Dragons, Space and Oceans seem to be a common theme of interest all the time anytime. My ADHD means I need child-appropriate stimulation, so fun shows and games to watch/play when I'm small are welcomed please give me recommendations! More stuff with Dragons please, please please!!!! I like to make art when small as well, so I'd like to take moodboard requests, but no pressure! Rawr!

My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S03E15 (“Battle in Three Dimensions”)

(Safe to read for anime-only folks.)

My thoughts after watching Season Three, Episode Fifteen:

01. Mozu probably doesn't get to do a lot of new things very often, so I'm imagining that that must have been fun for him to pretend to be a mysterious warrior to his colleagues XD

02. Today's episode's title is "Battle in Three Dimensions!" :D

03. Ibara and Kirisame look so skeptical in the face of Oarashi's retelling of what happened, hahaha! And I like how they tilted themselves so they wouldn't be covered up by Oarashi's speech bubble!

04. Gen was really on-point with his advice about who Mozu should go for!

05. Wouldn't Kirisame notice that Mozu is wearing an earring very similar to Kohaku's?

06. Kirisame's panicked voice in Senku's planning sounds so cute!

07. It would be a shame if we get the petrification weapon, only to be absolutely stomped by Mozu a second later...

08. It... certainly IS a sick weapon, Chrome :(

09. You know what I like about the collection of gun parts? The little screw thingy near the upper right part of the frame. We could have gone without that detail, but Boichi and anime animators are so dedicated to detail that they included such a small thing as well!

10. Yeah... all the modern-era people would know this weapon, and be extremely wary of it...

11. What's that brown thing between Chrome's neck and arms?

12. Okay, they're going to use something called mercury fulminate. They're going to combine nitric acid, mercury, and alcohol... and make "it" into a detonator...

13. None of the modern-era folks look happy about what they have to use... :(

14. Hmm, so it's been "about three years" since Senku parted ways with Taiju and Yuzuriha that time...

15. Even Senku isn't happy about having to use a gun, even though he's trying to show others the bright side... How must he feel, having to bring guns into the pure world that Byakuya left behind? :(

16. I love how everybody respects the solemnity of the moment, and how Ukyo is still sticking to his core principles, regardless of what's to come!

17. "Somebody whose loved one is killed bears that grudge forever. We take even the enemy for ourselves. To do that, we avoid killing. That's only rational."

18. Ryusui's such a good friend! And... he's SO greedy that he even desires their enemies, hahaha!

19. ...And this is a bit like that time with the cameras. Somebody was talking from their heart, and then Senku says something about the item and the way he says it is so different from the earlier mood XD

20. Now it's Taiju's turn to be so familiar with how Senku is, just like earlier in this cour where it was Senku who knew how Taiju usually operates!

21. This is exactly like what happened to Minami... now it's Yo who has his work tool, despite Chrome's clear objections! Although it's true that he's probably the one most qualified to wield it, with Ukyo being second on that list...

22. Amaryllis sure... can use her skills on command!

23. Shooting glass bottles is such a waste of resources in their situation, though...

24. Senku's the only one who looks like he has a bit of optimism about Yo's skills XD

25. I think the main art for Yo's shooting was better in the manga, partly because we had time to stop and enjoy it, but I really like the clarity that the anime gives us about the details of the gun!

26. Yo actually shot a venomous snake, and got a compliment from Senku... but he was actually going for the bottles! You REALLY need to practice, Yo! XD

27. Okay, we need hoods, the drone, guns, and wires to defeat the Medusa

28. It's nice how they showed how the kingdom of science is getting food... through Amaryllis' thievery from a village's storage hut! And Suika trying on one of the hoods and being cozy reminds me of her enjoying how soft their first batch of cloth was! Hoods... complete!

29. Even Amaryllis knows that declaring she would elope with the loudest drum player is SUCH a stretch... but it worked anyway! Yo got a hang of learning how to use that stone age gun pretty quickly! Guns... complete!

30. Wow, their lab is much taller than I thought it was XD

31. Magma, Nikki, and Kinro from the power team have been revived... and Kinro's VERY first instinct was to search for Ginro! :'( He's such a good brother!

32. Good misdirect with that teardrop falling into the water... but we ALL know that came from Kinro :( But Amaryllis and Senku told him that thanks to Kohaku, Ginro is still alive! :)

33. That was a pretty obvious shine in Senku's eyes while he was talking about the danger the lead spearman would be in... he's not saying so, but he's genuinely worried for Kinro!

34. ...I don't understand why Taiju thought why he and Magma needed to practice tugging a rope XD But I guess it was just to lead into the new carbon wire they were making! Wires... complete!

35. Chrome was all fired up about utilizing the gyroscopic effect, and Senku played along... until he didn't. He is SUCH a troll, haha!

36. A wirewound variable resistor... it's nice of them to give us the terminology!

37. "You'd need to be good at steering and at reading the wind. Who's..."

38. Of course this is up to you and your pro-gamer skills, Ryusui! That bit of information from a while back really paid off! Drone... complete!

39. Yo and Ryusui are enjoying their new goodies, but Magma looks interested in that gun...

40. "The cliff of the howling seas" is a pretty awesome name for a place!

41. We have Gen, Chrome, Ukyo, Senku, Yuzuriha, and Amaryllis as our fake spearmen, and Kinro as our real spearman!

42. Hey, is that warrior behind and to the right of Oarashi... okay? His eyes... he looks dead inside -_- He's just totally over it...

43. Who decided to make Suika a spearman? XD Maybe she's also doubling as a possible messenger or reconnaissance officer?

44. First Kinro earlier, then Ibara now... these zoom in shots are... weird... :O

45. Ukyo and Chrome reassuring Suika... aww, so sweet! :)

46. This is so weird. When I read the manga, I probably imagined a clear, sunny day, not a super foggy morning. But this does make sense considering their need to hide, so maybe the time of day was mentioned in the manga and I just forgot.

47. Soyuz is probably there to be back-up defense for Ryusui and Yo, who will need to be completely focused on their own tasks...

48. Amaryllis, Yuzuriha, Suika, Chrome, Kinro, Ukyo, and Senku... and their hidden allies all around... against the most powerful warriors of the petrification kingdom! :O

49. Ah, there's the sunlight I imagined!

50. "I'll handle this. Indeed, it isn't for a silly deal this time. It's for a true battle. For myself. With this golden, sun-colored spear prepared for me by the Kingdom of Science... I will protect us!"

51. Arrgh, Kinro's strong, inspiring resolve is awesome! :D He's not the only warrior in their current group, because Ukyo is there with them, but Kinro IS the only spear user, and a lot of the responsibility for the success of their part of the plan rests on his shoulders. This is very much like that scene in the Grand Bout, when he knew he couldn't lose because he was fighting for his friends! :) We believe in you, Kinro! :D The title of the next episode is "Total War," which is... wow! That's very... very clear! :O

Why the title

what originally drew me to it

i was already really into the souls games, but the big draw for me with elden ring was getting to participate in like, the peak swarm of online activity and lore diving that comes in the first few weeks/months. i wasn't really around for the release of any of the other games, so it felt like something really special.

5. a character i'd like to frame and hang on my wall and admire like a work of art

RANNI.... i really like ranni... i like the little absurdities worked into her writing, like how she makes fun of you for talking to the minature ranni or the way she sits on a stack of books to look less short. i think the way her strange, inhuman body is treated by the narrative and the camera is really interesting. i like that she's unscrupulous in her methods and weird in her aims. also if you do her questline you get to hang out with blaidd a lot, which leads us to

7. a character who feels like home

i really like blaidd a lot too. deciding to give him such a gentle, soft-spoken voice was a stroke of fucking genius. like he's just sincerely the nicest person in the game AND he's a giant battle-hardened wolf furry. literally the ideal man. much like with people who give ranni tits, anyone who draws blaidd without his battered, lopsided features is sanding charm off the character, absolute philistine shit. i desire him carnally but tbh it would also just be really nice to fall asleep on his chest

10. a ship I would gladly go down with... and then become davey jones, so I can continue to captain said ship for eternity

i don't actually have any elden ring ships i have particularly strong feelings on, i think? rykard and tanith's whole deal is cute, but they're just outright married in the text, so that's hardly a ship... i have my fair share of fromsoft shipping opinions but they're all, like. dark souls 3 yuri. and also the solid 20% of my brain dedicated to thinking about lady maria/plain doll

Inktober 2022: A reflection

This year I did Luna ‘s (who is an amazing artist!! Check them out on Twitter!!) Inktober. Spoiler, I did not do all the days as I got sick halfway through and then just stopped lol. However, it was remarkable good practice and I learned a lot! One might say you can see me improving 👀 It gets better, promise!

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to render stone, and it really shows

15. Zodiac

I’m torn bc on one hand the background is stunning, I love the colors. On the other hand, this would have looked too much better lineless, and the lens sky reflection is just lazy and doesn't fit with the rest of the style.

16. Evolution

GHOST CRAB!! I downloaded some new brushes, and it was just sooo much fun.

17. Meadow

I really like everything except the “flowers”. The clouds and background/foundation is solid, but the weird flower brush is too sharp and it just doesn't work. Also, the colors of the flowers are supposed to be in shade and idk man

18. Examination

Now this one could make more sense, like perspective wise and the highlights are a bit wack. However, it's really cool and I like it a lot. The bluish tint for the glass, the goldish bronze, the background yes!!

19. Reflection

The poses for this kept just not working out. I couldn't get the angles, nothing made sense, so I made them silhouettes! And it works nicely. I like this one. I am kinda starting to overuse that background contrast thingy, but it's fiiiiiinnnne. Also, the curtain??? The red pops so well hello, its just bam, and it deserves to do that.

20. Bullet

It's a bullet train! Get it? Anyway, I really like the burn effect for this one and I wanted to make it a spooky train. One thing I'd improve is how the likes are fading into the smoke, it doesn't look quite right.

22. Bones

This is kinda my burnout point and it shows. The line thickness is all over the place, I didn't work on this very much and just slapped some things on there and put it up. I'd love to draw a proper pile of bones someday, but this wasn't it.

23. Mutation

I do kinda like this one, and I don't have any major complaints. I just remember not really feeling doing Art™ at that time.

29. Wyvern

I sketched this the next day and was so normal about it. Idk if this is really a Wyvern, but it looks cool! I really like the frame and breaking it. It gives a nice break and depth!

So I found out from @riverstardis‘s classic Casualty liveblogs recently that there’s an episode (S28E36) with a patient who’s a Doctor Who fan. I thought that sounded fun. So now I’m watching it, and I’m gonna liveblog, because why not.

Edit 1: I was gonna say this is the first episode I’ve seen from while Dylan was away but then I remembered it’s not, I watched another series 28 ep because Katherine Dow Blyton was in it.

Edit 2: Connie and Zoe sharing scenes, I might faint from gorgeousness overload.

Edit 6: I think we’ve just met the Whovian kid. Meanwhile, Fletch is treating a patient and bumping into Tess, and I literally do not care.

Edit 7: The lighting in the hospital in this era is really weird.

Edit 8: Awh, the kid in his little bowtie!!

Edit 9: The kid’s just fallen off a playground climbing thingy that I should know the name for, and simultaneously, his grandma’s having shortness of breath and chest pains. Oof.

Literacy Lesson Man’s girlfriend is also struggling to breathe. Another oof.

Edit 10: Nice to see Fletch has always been useless. Also, insane to think that less than a decade after this he was literally CEO.

1. what drives them? what’s their ultimate goal?

Ramiel’s driven by an all-consuming sense of self-importance or like. The sense that there’s something your supposed to do but you haven’t done it yet, and you can’t remember what it was- but gods does it eat at you, keeps you awake at night, leaves you never feeling truly satisfied with your accomplishments.

RAMIEL’S CURRENT INTERPRETATION OF THIS FEELING MEANS 1V1-ING THE GOD OF WAR AND BECOMING A GOD HIMSELF. If he can claw his way to the very top of the ladder surely THEN he’ll be satisfied with the people he’s proven wrong and the respect he’s earned and the power he’s gained. (This goal is NOT going as planned tho, for Ramiel)

2. what was your original concept for this character? how did playing them change that concept?

Ramiel actually hasn’t changed much at all from his concept and actually playing dnd! Mostly he’s just been like. Streamlined. For my dnd campaign- we actually ended up rebooting it after like. three-ish(?) years of playing! IT WAS GREAT TO BE ABLE TO TAKE MY FIRST DND PC AND BE LIKE ‘time to make him even BETTER now that I know how dnd works and in general have a much more thorough understanding of collaborative storytelling.’

Ramiel’s personality and character motives/flaws/tropes have all stayed really consistent between Godskeep 1.0 and Godskeep 2.0- but his backstory changed a lot and I was able to develop him to be much more rooted in the world he lives in! In 2.0 he started with a handful of relations to important npcs which has been a lot of fun…

Honestly what maybe changed the most is he went from having a 100% bonafide god-complex in 1.0 to having an ‘unusual amount of arrogance and self-importance for someone so clearly insecure’ in 2.0.

10. what inspired this character’s creation?

I listened to this specific PMV on loop while i drew the FIRST picture of Ramiel…. It was suggested I make a paladin to fill the martial class slot- and I knew I wanted to make an ambitious, self-assured white and gold dragon-kin. “Young God” BY HALSEY, FALLEN ANGELS, TOXIC RELIGION, GLADIATORS, AND TIGERSTAR WERE ALL HUGE INSPIRATIONS.

51. what element of their backstory are you proudest of?

THIS ONE IS HARD TBH. Honestly, I loved talking with my friend (who dms the game) and like. Fleshing out the little things that establish that Ramiel was never going to be ‘nice’- but even with his ruthless upbringing and bullying persona, he has a genuine capacity to love and do good :’). IDK PUTTING THE LITTLE THINGS IN THERE IS PROBABLY THE STUFF THAT MAKES ME HAPPIEST. Like his friendship/mentor vibes with one npc who’s known him since he was little, or how Ramiel genuinely likes babies and children, or how he met his best friend/future husband :’)

65. what would their go-to karaoke song be?

This one is actually the hardest. When I answer questions like this the correct answer is always one I also hate. Like he would pick “Eye of the Tiger” or something equally cringey. LIKE SMTHN A COLLEGE FRAT BOY WOULD PICK.

My first Rune Factory game and how I think it is so far...

I am almost at the end of the main plot of Rune Factory 5 and I want to write a “first impression” kind of review. (Although “first impression doesn’t quite fit, because I already have plenty of playtime behind me... but you know what I mean, the impression on a game from a franchise I never played before...)

So... first of all: SPOILER for the Main Plot might be included in this post, so you have been warned.

The reason I even tried this game, after not playing any of the previous parts, is because I never wanted to invest money in a game where I wasn’t sure if I would like it. I mean, even with the Trails-Series, which I absolutely LOVE and which looked like it would be to my taste from the very start, I didn’t buy the game until it was only 10€, because I didn’t want to invest more money into a game I just MIGHT like. Games are really expensive these days (seriously, back when I was younger, one game was 40€ and now some are 80€ and you even play the same amount of money for the digital version, as you play for a hardcopy even tho there are no material costs involved - but I digress...) and I am a gamer (and no, I am not ashamed to call me that, even tho I usually play on easy or very easy - I do that because its more fun this way, not because I am that bad) so I spend a fortune on games and consoles and controllers for the consoles and my computer and so on. Meaning that I have to think relly hard which games I think will be worth the money and which might not. Buying a game for 60€ or more and then not finishing it is a no go. No matter how much you hate a game, if you spend money on it, you have to finish it. Point.

However, this rule can be a pain in the ass especially if you buy two games in a row that turn out not to be fun at all and now you are forced to finish them. So... I didn’t wanted to buy yet another game I have to force myself to finish. So I started playing it on Yuzu. I do not feel bad to admit it, because it was like playing a Demo-Version. I played a few In-Game-Days and Real-Life-Hours and since I liked it, I bought it full price for the Switch. So as I own the original and payed for it... I don’t feel bad about this at all. Because if I hadn’t played it on Yuzu first, I would never have bought it, which would have meant no money for Nintendo and Co.

I remember I did start one of the past Rune Factory Games on an emulator before, but the start was so complicated that I decided back then that it wasn’t worth my time, even tho I played less than half an hour by then ^^’

So what I can say so far are the following things:

1. I really like the mixture of HArvest Moon/Story of seasons withe the JRPG elements. It gives you a nice change from the sometimes boring farmwork and also give the pacing a little kick.

2. I do like that there is a more... intense story to the main-plot, then we are used too in most Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games. But it is still not so intense that it makes the game exhausting.

3. The characters in the town are nice and the town itself as well. You feel at home easily.

4. I think the system of leveling and getting better weapons/tools is ridiculously complicadet and Hard. As an example. To get better weapons, I first need a license to be allowed to make my own weapons to begin with, I need Seed-Points for this (in later games, you will realize they are kind of hard to come by in the amount you need them...) and then I need to buy the anvil to be able to use the license. For this smiting-thingy I need money (even harder to come by if you play fair and square and don’t exploit the game...) and materials - which I have to gatter with my cheap and thus energy-expensive-tools as once again, without smiting I can not get better ones right now. After I FINALLY have all that I still need materials to smith AND I need recipes which I only get when I buy a weapon bread and to get from the cheap (I can buy them at the Smithy anyway) recipes to ones that are better than what you have it takes A LOT of breads, which you have to buy for money AND at the beginning you will only have the option to buy two breads per day and if you buy them all for weapons you don’t have any left for tools, medicin, cooking and so on. You will realize quite fast that at some point, your character won’t learn anything anymore from eating bread, because your smithing level is too low. So you need more items to produce more useless weapons so that your smithing-level rises so that you can eat more bread to get more recipes, in hope that when you FINALLY have one for a weapon that is better then to ones you can buy (or randomly find in dungeons) that you then actually have already access to the materials you need for it. But in the meantime you have likely neglected your tool-building skills so getting the materials will cost you A LOT of energy. Seriously, this whole system is way too complicated and way too time intense. In all seriousness: It sucks! Has it always been like this in Rune Factory Games?

5. Earning money is really hard in this game. (Fun fact: As I was in desperate needs of better tools and weapons and weren’t going anywhere with trying to do it myself and thus needed the Smithy upgradet and thus needed the freaking money for it, I used the Royal Curry Trick and I only started to actually be able to make enough money, after I used that money to upgrade my farmdragon and buy good seeds and use some fertelizer.)

6. For a game that makes it so hard to earn money, everything important is far too expensive. I used the Royal Curry Trick multiple times to get better tools and the 500.000 Money weren’t even enough for everything I needed - yes, I get it that the game wants you to craft the stuff yourself, but if I would have done that it would have taken me A LOT of boring In-Game years to get there. Which is no fun at all, if the only reason you can’t move on with the plot, is because of something like this.

7. The Main-Plot moves too fast. I am relatively early in my first summer and have reached almost the end of the main story (and I have heard about people finishing it in their first spring even) and I think that is not a good thing. There are people like me, who only are driven by the main-plot and thus, the earlier the plot ends, the earlier the game gets boring and uninteresting. If the plot would only move on once a week (and lets say you haven’t finished the current mission yet by the time the week ends, then you have to wait another week for the next plot update) and thus, this would also give you plenty of time to work on your farm and your skills and MAYBE reach all the requirements to make better weapons yourself, before you have to go to the next dungeon. Of course, we have a mission or two that is done in a way that it should be done immediately after the last one. But for most of them, having a week or two between them wouldn’t do the plot any bad. And yes, I get that (once mission aside) you can do those missions at your own pace, but it still invites to rush though the game more then necessary if the next plot-mission is available like immediately after the last one. At that point, the only thing that could stop you is a bad weapon (and if you are not picky, that won’t be a problem because the game gives you plenty of better weapons through treasure chests) or a too low level, which can easly be dealt with in a grinding day or two. So... yeah... it should not be possible to finish the plot until at least nearly the end of the first year.

8. Some of the requests are as ridiculous as making better weapons yourself. So I am supposed to ship 50(!) of my own oranges, so that I can buy orange seeds. Now find out what is wrong with that request! If you are asking yourself now, how you are supposed to get your own oranges from your own orange tree if you can not buy the seeds, then yes, that is the right question. To get those seeds, even tho you can not buy them until you actually had them, is by finding them. Howeber, there are only two places that every now and then drop random tree seeds for you and to top it of, these seeds are hidden items, that are hard to find especially without having a certain crest already (which you gain from catching A LOT of hard to beat wanted monsters) and without anyone telling you were these locations are. Seriously, without the help of the internet I would have probably never found them. So I would have never been able to finish that request and then I would have never been able to buy Tree-Seeds, even tho my future husbands favorite food is fruite-sandwich (which I couldn’t make anyway, because I can not afford to buy the 1000 cooking-breads I need to get the recepie...) And in all honesty? Half of the game is pulling bullshit like that most of the time.

9. The fact that the soils is getting worse whenever you use it, might be realistic, but is a pain in the ass in a farming-game. Its basically like not being able to use suddenly broken weapons in a Fire Emblem game in the middle of an important battle - yes, been there, done that. Of course, it is realistic, but it ruins the fun of the game SO MUCH! I mean, it is a Fantasy-Game, does it really have to be realistic? I mean, I freaking get my woole from a monster that walks on two legs ^^’

10. I absolutely love that you can bring friends along for your dungeon-adventures. And that different characters have different abilities. And since I already have been in a situation were I couldn’t bring any friends I also very much like that I can bring my farm monsters with me into dungeon battles. Helps A LOT.

11. I like the teleporting but I would have prefered to have more places to teleport to.

12. Time is running slower in this game, then in most Story of Season games, which is good - you wouldn’t want to take 3 days to finish a dungeon ^^’ But it also means that the days are over slower and thus it felt like FOREVER until the first Spring was finally making way for Summer. So it is a mixed blessing, really.

13. It is a bit weird to be honest, to not have a house of my own ^^‘

14. What the hell do I need that many farm Dragongs for and why isn’t every dragon having a specific season so you could grow seasonal crops faster?

15. Speaking of which: Almost every crop can be planted in every season (exept winter, for most of them) and they will grow, even if it is not their main season - although not as fast - which is really great.
