The Rights of The Husband
Imam Dhahabi حفظه الله said:
"What is obligatory upon the woman is that she seeks the pleasure of her husband, and avoids angering him, and does not refuse him whenever he wants her. The woman must also know that she is like a slave to her husband, so she should not do anything affecting herself or her husbands wealth except with his permission.
‎She should give precedence to his rights over her rights, and the rights of his relatives over the rights of her relatives, and she should keep herself clean and be ready for him to enjoy her. She should not brag at his expense of her beauty, nor criticize him for any ugliness found in him.
‎The woman must also be always modest and reserved in the presence of her husband, lower her eyes in front of him, obey his commands, remain silent when he speaks, keep far away from everything which angers him, avoid treachery when he is absent, with regard to his bed, his wealth and his house.
‎She should ensure that her aroma is pleasant, be accustomed to using musk and perfume and cleaning her mouth with siwak. she should be consistent in adorning herself in his presence and not when he is absent. She should treat his family and relatives honourably, and consider something small from him as something great."
‎[Al-kabā'ir, pg. 188-190]

Above, Bilād al-Maghrib, #Morocco, Jumādā al-awlā 1444, November 2022
#polygamy - part 1
I fell into polygamy. It was never planned.
When it was announced to me by my recent husband that he was going to take back his previous wife, I did not know what to think but I certainly felt fear. Because polygamy is what you hear other sisters speak negatively about - despite the fact that most have never lived it.
And then I reminded myself, al-Qadar (pre-decree) is the secret of Allāh.
And from the fundamentals of Īmān is to have true faith in pre-ordainment.
We trust the bus driver to take us to destination, pretty much without thinking, but we don't trust Allāh Our Creator, to write the best of plans for us....?! So I have to trust that Allāh has pre-ordained this for a good reason.
I thank Allāh guided me to trust Him عز و جل.
And I pray all sisters could as well, at least try, not to always fear polygamy, but rather at least consider it, ask Allāh to help them through it.
Listen to what the mashaykh of Ahl-us-Sunnah have to say about it, ponder, take your time....Ask Allāh to open your chest, before you make the decision.

Why do people hate on Islam so much?
As a Muslim myself, it's so annoying when im on this platform and go to the #islam tag only to find that people are using this tag to hate on the religion. Stop hating on Islam. Are you so bored with your life that you have to try and being down a WHOLE group of people for only a small part of it? Like really, I completely understand about the extremists who "practice" the religion and kill people for not agreeing. But all religions have those. And, in Islam, murder is a grave sin and is very strongly condemed. Taking the life of another human withought a just reason is seen as a violation of the life Allah has given. The Quran teaches that killing one person is like killing all of the people and saving one person is like saving all of the people. Islam teaches peace and love, not crime and hate. Normal muslims don't burn or shred the bible or Torah because we respect other religions. So why do people like to burn/shred/run over the Quran? That's what I don't understand.

We keep hearing this questions from Muslim youth and from non-Muslims who are interested in Islam. However, this is not a new question and it was answered by many prominent Muslim scholars.

Islam is not a mere claim. Islam is real; it is actions and knowledge....there has to be awareness, knowledge and insight because who does not know it, unknowingly falls into danger- like the ignorant, who treads an unknown path, and this path has pits, enemies and fierce animals, and he falls into trouble unknowingly.

Feminism or Islam?
A woman is the same as a man and can do whatever he can do?
“And the male is not like the female” (3:36)
Men are inherently oppressive to women and have always been their enemies?
“The believing men and women are allies of one another” (9:71)
Women don't owe obedience to any man?
“So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard” (4:34)
Women don't need men, they should be independent?
“Men are in charge of women by (right of) what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend (for maintenance) from their wealth” (4:34)
Men and women should have equal rights and status?
“Do not wish for what Allah has bestowed upon some of you over others. Men will have the reward of their deeds and women will have the reward of their deeds. And ask Allah for HIS bounty. Indeed, Allah is All-knowing.” (4:32)
Women should be permitted to dress as they wish?
“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the believing women to draw their outer garments over themselves; that is more likely that they will be known (as chaste women) and will not be harassed” (33:59)
