oh also one thing that i realized just now: qbagi’s initial suspicion over what’s happening to qphil being tied to the federation is technically not wrong

you know what drew qphil’s deities’ interest to him and quesadilla island? the birdcage. rose said in her earliest message ”I could sense the bleeding heart of the one I once knew, far, far away”. the deities noticed qphil had disappeared, and maybe they were curious to know what had happened, but the thing that drove them to find him was rose’s want to help him. and if she really was the one that freed him from the cage (and it’s heavily hinted she was), that birdcage undeniably was the thing that launched all of this into action.

how the enderking figured out that qphil had been weakened? we don’t know, maybe he sensed it, maybe he had already been observing him, maybe he noticed rose leaving to look for qphil, it doesn’t really matter. what does matter is that the trauma qphil got from being locked in that cage is what gave the enderking the perfect opportunity to strike. and is what led us to where we are now in the story. so even thought the federation isn’t ultimately the one tormenting qphil right now, it can still all be traced back to them and their continual abuses of power :)

#my art #gw2 #commander faehrnem #pale tree #SURPRISE i'm finally talking about my characters lol #faehrnem would have been avatar for the second blighting tree (malyck's) but was brought over to the pale tree's side of the dream #while his mind was still forming so she could ensure he would defect as well and not embrace his true purpose as mordys champ #pale tree was to be mordys voice. lol #but uhh other stuff happened and the bold tree didn't want the same life as his sister and in a disagreement the siblings had #the bold tree is nearly wiped from the dream itself when pale tree accidentally uses magic that horrifically dmged him #so! in her grief the pale tree removes the avatar magic from her brother's. mind? soul? both maybe? idk the dream is weird #and later on after years of recovering and with no memory of what happened #faehrnem reawakens in the dream as a (to everyone's knowledge) regular sylvari so hecan live out his dreams of roaming the world #along side his friends and family (and then some) and just living a fulfilling life full of adventure and excitement #and brother. does faehrnem get it LOL this is what you signed up for buddy. now go kill those pesky dragons #anyways if you read all of these tags congrats! here's a gold star #this was a very shortened version of his backstory and there's. a lot of details i'm leaving out but maybe for another time #for now i hope you can enjoy these disaster siblings. lmao

Ive been reading a LOT of Sidon x reader recently again, and i thought of a very angsty plot (?) Based on the fact that every 1 botw/totk equals to 24 mins irl. So what if y/n gets sent to that world, but their body still functions on the same time irl.

• 1 day =24 mins

•1 week= 2.8 hrs (≈3 hrs)

•1 month= 11.2 hrs

•2 months= 22.4 hrs

•1 yr= 6 days

• 5 yrs = 30 days

•100 yrs= 1.6 yrs

•8,000 yrs= 80 yrs

-Everything is fine and dandy after two months of straight shenanigans and making friends/exploring w/o needing to rest.

- Fall for fish prince carry wholesome romance

- After 10+ yrs of romance, y/n shows zero signs of aging. This continues till Sidon shows signs of aging while y/n looks the exact same way they had first met.

- y/n gets the nickname "fairy" from sidon from not aging, and y/n starts getting increasingly concerned about not aging.

- decides to seek Puras' help aging faster. However, it would take a long time for Pura to adjust the time, considering how slow y/n is aging.

- But it's too long Sidon doesn't have that time, and y/n will have to outlive him to be able to enjoy the rest of his natural life span.

- y/n stays in hyrule even after the death of Sidon and becomes "the fairy of the Zora" and lives for 8,000 yrs
