i guess i'll take this as an opportunity to address this in general! i don't mind if people ship something i don't like/a notp as long as they're not making me engage with it, i don't track people down at gunpoint like HEY SHIPPER SAW YOU TOUCHED MY ART! no! all i ask is people don't /tag/ my art as whatever if i don't want it tagged as such (and don't ramble on about ship ideas in there either lol please), but i'm making an effort to make that obvious in the body of the post itself :) lots of my friends/followers ship things i don't and we coexist just fine!
but as for your ship, i've made mention to it a few times i think that it doesn't really bother me that much! in fact, the more i draw them together, the more chill i am with people taking away whichever kind of interactions they want from my art of them! they're my blorbos too and i love drawing them together, and although sometimes i am explicit about not wanting them tagged as a ship (so like, if they're drawn as family, xy is a child and sl is not for instance, lol), and sometimes i wish not everything were seen as shippy, it's very unreasonable i think for me to expect people not to see it that way. does that make sense? that's why someone requested i tag it a certain way so they wouldn't have to see it anyway OTL
anyway, you're totally fine! if you want to reblog it go right ahead, and if you wanna slap that tag on it, go ahead too (WITHIN REASON, see above). it's the other ostensibly more popular xue yang ship that i'd rather not get wrapped up in, haha

At first I saw that ask about deitykin vs dragonkin and was like 'Oh are we talking about the intersections of divinity and draconity? Wait no scrolled further its about deitykin having some shitty drama that hurts the whole community' Which oh yeah it does.
Im dragonkin and in my past life I had rites given to me for protecting a place so at one point I was calling myself divine(dont actively do so now). And about ~5 years ago I was reblogging goreposts to the edgy kin sideblog as one does and suddenly got a ask that was like 'hi please block me thank you <3' and I was like ??? who the fuck are you but ok I respect boundaries and did as asked, though out of curiosity I checked what tf happened and it turns out a post I reblogged without even looking at op as you do was that person and they had in their hidden dni post that all divinekin/godkin werent to interact. Which fair boundary but completely unfair to expect people to check like that before reblogging. All right. The person the proceeded to vaguepost about me for a few posts over an hour or two about how divinekin are so 'entitled' and 'arrogant' and this one divinekin was oh so terrible. For. Not obsessively checking the pages of every blog they reblogged like a stalker and replying 'not sure why but ok, also blocked on all sideblogs for you, wishing you the best' so they know their request was granted I guess?
Let me be clear- my blog didnt directly state I was divinekin, I had 'gore/horror + divinity blog' as my bio on whats clearly an aesthetic-only blog. Otherkin should not have been the first thought there. I did not tag the post with anything but the gore tag. This person would have had to stalk my blog into the about pages to discover this fact. On a post with hundreds of notes.
Its this kind of baffling kneejerk hatred for divinekin who are just vibing and have never been anything but polite and courteous to people that is just really saddening. For those who id as divine out there I really feel for you because thats only a taste of the flack you folks get for just existing. Trolls and kin drama that breached containment and people being fucking weird about religions not their own serve to inflame this shit and I wish all you the best. Haters gonna hate and all that. Sorry this anon got long lol
I'm not going to use this as an opportunity to rant about my hatred of DNIs, but. *gestures vaguely at the entitlement* what is wrong with people that they think telling someone else to block them is the solution instead of...... doing the blocking themself like a normal person??? There's literally no point to that other than alerting the person that you're blocking them, which should not be a goal of yours. That's not reasonable boundaries, that's being entitled. Reasonable boundaries would be them blocking you, not them demanding you change YOUR internet experience because, what, they said so?
*long sigh*
Okay, anyway. Not to distract from the fact that this happened because of the whole divinekin stigma thing, but it's also just. super reflective of current internet culture's failings and that's just as aggravating to me tbh.
But regardless - heartily agree; the whole divinekin stigma is just horrendously damaging and I have nothing but sympathy for those who've been harmed by it.

Y'know, after feeling low and overwhelmed for so long, I'm in a pretty good mood right now, and I figured I'd spread some of that positivity, just in case you've been feeling crappy too.
Let's start off with the day I met you.
It was Christmas break 2018. I hadn't got my blog just yet (that was Feb. 2019), so I was just a little helpless anonymous exploring the Eric Cartman tag on tumblr.
Then, I stumbled across your blog.
It literally changed my life.
I always thought I was weird for liking Cartman the way I did, overthinking every characteristic about him, and just in general fanboying (not in that way ofc, A:not gay, B:hes 10 lmfao) over someone who I originally when I started watching had a hatred for.
But you helped me realize that it's not so weird.
I had the courage to send my first anonymous ask.
The ask that started it all.
It's crazy to think had I not sent that, we wouldn't have started this friendship, and maybe I wouldn't be here on this site to this very day.
This friendship was the best Christmas gift I could've ever asked for.
We would communicate through anonymous asks, and lots of other things.
Then the day came in 2019 that I finally got my blog.
I quickly rushed to your blog, and sent my first message, and followed you instantly.
I followed a few other Cartman/SP blogs I came across too.
These past three years of our friendship have been so amazing.
Always getting off a boring and long day at school, but opening up my phone, and almost always seeing

Seeing that in my push notifications always brought a smile to my face.
And always seeing in my notes when I posted a new SP fic or fanart, that you reblogged it.
Seeing when a new episode would air, even after I quit watching, I loved seeing your opinions on the episode. I knew what was happening in the show simply because of your posts (and the wiki)
I love talking about politics with you, even if it isn't a common topic, it was always amazing.
I remember when the George Floyd situation happened last year, and you and I chatted about it for hours.
When the Capital Hill riots happened in January, while watching the news, I instantly messaged you, and I live chatted everything I saw, and that was huge.
When I first got into Modern Family, talking about that was memorable, even if you hadn't really seen much of it at all.
Talking about our lives, and the stresses of it.
I always loved hearing about your job, and talking about school.
Everything about this friendship has been nothing short of amazing.
You were the first online friend I ever met here on this hellsite, and it doesn't matter if we've never met in person, you've always been a real friend to me.
If you ever need someone to chat with, don't be afraid to shoot me a message.

well im just getting ready for txt comeback so i need to prepare myself (originally my url is yeonbins and i think its pretty obvious, i love both soobin and yeonjun a little too much)

ah i love bart too so i fucking hATED HOW S2 ENDED FOR HER. WHY DIDNT SHE STAY WITH PANTO IN THE FAIRYTALE LAANNDDDDD OH MYGOODDDDDDD their dynamic was so good... and speaking of him, of course i love a gay icon, love his boyfriend too, another dumb gay!!! so many dumb gays. so much representation. im sad we didnt get to see a lot of them. i was so fuckign afraid they were also going to fucking die no i would riot!! i was ready to say "sO GLAD THIS GOT CANCELELDLDLD!!! OF COURSE THE GAYS GOT KILLED !!! NOT EVEN FICTIONAL FICTIONAL GAYS ARE SAFE!!" KJljdslklk i really was prepared for the worse after what happened to my other kings...... ill never get over that
and to be honest i was not vibing with the second season at first (probably, for sure..ly bc of what happened to my kings in s1. all these new characters were being introduced, i felt like pure shit just wanted them back. i couldnt properly enjoy it) also the whole.. fantasy thing.... is not my thing... idk... from the start, when i saw the fucking wand i wanted to scream dlkjas i knew it wasnt going to be for me. but i think it got better as it went on, it just didnt captivate me like the plot from s1. i didnt follow it as well? i enjoyed how i could easily pick up the little clues in s1 but tbh i think that just reflects dirk's state cuz we sorta follow his pov... he was v e r y lost during s2 and that rubbed on me!!! i didnt enJOYYYY ONE BITTT SEEING HIMMM SO FUCKING SAD... he was just sad and freaking out and he just needed a friend >:( and todd ugh he pissed me off a lot of the time dlkajskl........... ill never forget him saying dirk deserved to be alone 🚶♂️being a dirkette isnt easy.
but anyways its not like s2 was bad and dumb (im editing this and i just remember them trying to make todd/farah a thing. absolutely loathed that. that was bad and dumb. faratina for the win), the weird stuff did make sense in the end. of course thats what a child would imagine, even the scissors as weapons made sense. aND AMBOOLENTS. IDK IF U REMEMBER THAT BUT GOD IT MADE ME LAUGH SO MUCH. also suzie was a good villain and tina and hobbs were amazing 🥰aGAIN I WAS SO READY FOR ONE OR BOTH OF THEM TO DIE.... no this fear really ruined things for me lkdjalsk.... oh mona !!! lOVE HER TOO! shes so pretty, first of all. when i saw her glowing eyes in the first ep i was like heyyyy 💕ANyways her character???? like?? so interesting??? not knowing who shes supposed to be?!?!?! i got hooked right awayyyy when she said that
oh my god i wish s3 existed and it was about heeerrrr. mona and dirk would be great besties 😔 and he would finally have his actual detective agency :(((((( but do u mean what i want to happen or this that might have happened? cuz im only looking at dirk/assistent romance lkdjakls mister sir lieutenant assistent was funny and so brave for putting up with friedkin so hes prepared for dirks intelligent dumbness and i want to see dirk happy its a win win. TODD BEING A ROCKSTAR AGAIN YES! all the other stuff yes too except bart teaming up with ken idek why she would do that after he 1. became a dick and 2. betrayed her (PLUS he shot dirk, im resentful, therefore i hate him forever and i dont want bart near him ever again)
sooooooo unfair that the show only has 2 seasons..... its such a rich universe with good characters.... all of them.. amanda and farah got great character development.. i already miss it im so sad..... im strongly considering making a sideblog to reblog stuff..
