Hey! its been a while since ive been active online properly. Ive missed talking to you💛 I meant to send this earlier but i had a long nap and then watched aot all afternoon with my brother haha. I just finished season 3 🤩 im hoping to be up to date by the time the new episode is out or at least not to soon after. i really wanna see artrowk or fanfics but i have to avoid spoilers😭 i have so many tags and words muted on tumblr and twitter to avoid any mention of aot hahaha.
But yeah I havent been online that much lately, for like all of januray i feel like i was in a mental funk. idk what it was, i just was feeling overwelmed all the time. Im better now tho! i went away for teh weekend and got out of the house for a couple of days and I feel like it really cleared my head. - qyu anon

Deffo get you. I think you handled it well by taking a me-cation I reckon? How was the little going away? I’ve been in the same boat since October and what I find works to get yourself out of mental funk is sleep lol. It’s hard to beat overwhelming emotions that’s what I learned. But it’s also temporary.
It’s also mercury retrograde so I’m not surprised that I’m feeling this way

Now that im up to date let's talk aot! Ive also read the manga up until the end of season 3. Im not sure if I want to go past the anime at this point, ive seen some spoilers and idk I kinda like being unsure atm at whats going to happen. Anway Im liking the new animation! I quite like both styles but I feel like the change in animation suits the change in the series since were seeing everyone grown up.
The whole basement reveal really shocked me, out of all the things I wasnt expecting that. I thought it would be about cure for the titans since Dr Jaegar is a doctor and maybe he figured out a way to cure the world. Instead I felt like the whole world turned on its head😂 Im glad it wasn't spoiled for me, it was a complete surprise which is nice. I feel like as a show no matter how much we learn there's still things that are unknown. Its really good and well written, also very cruel. Overall im enjoying it a lot and im glad I started watching it. What are your thoughts on aot and the new season so far? You know I’m only an anime watcher so I’ve really been on the edge of my seat all season.
I’m feeling the new animation! It’s much for rugged and makes the characaters look older so I agree that it works. Kinda reminds me of the hq animation switch (pre quarantine) because it made all the boys look older and better.
Since you more or less binged watched it, did you find it was a rollercoaster? Did you find it confusing or easy to follow? For me: I started watching AOT when it came out when I was in high school so after every episode this season I literally have to watch an “explained” video. I quite enjoy them now actually as it has become a part of the process haha. I’m about to watch episode 10s now !!
Yeah omg the basement arc was just crazy .... I absolutely didn’t see it coming. For me the biggest shock is obviously Zeke cause like .... dude you actually threw those rocks and killed the corps FOR WHAT !!! fucking snake and I was so happy when I thought Levi killed him.

It’s so funny because when I watched aot before I got online in the anime world he never stood out to me looks wise, but then I saw that everyone thought he was hot and I think my mind finally noticed him and was like omg yes 😍😍😍
But I honestly say that I’ve never been more attracted to an anime characters while being until I was introduced to captain Erwin💔and kasamatsu from KNB. Anyone you find handsome in AOT ????

I never knew I needed luxurious dates with haikyuu boys until now😍 my favourites were of course king Aran and Daichi. Im lowkey scared of heights but I feel Aran would make me feel safe in a helicopter ride. And him getting ready to propose too, that was so cute🥺 stargazing in an igloo and cuddling with Daichi sounds soo good rn. I love it so much. - qyu anon

That you could use him as a cushion if y’all went down 😂 nah but in all honestly he’d literally have all of the pilots decades of experience and credentials on hand printed out to show you, along with the weather report of clear skies for MILES and MILES! he’d be the best comfort partner, and soon-to-be fiancé !!!!
Ugh Daichi’s is my favourite for sure. I love the winter but ONLY when I’m looking at the snow from the inside warm and cozy. I’d love to see polar bears ice fishing and shit, I’ve always wanted to see the Northern Lights and Im a SIMP for hot tubs so the whole date is just a DREAM 💭🤍
Those boys don’t expect anything but they deserve the world after those dates

Im pretty neutral on ships, I have some I like and some I dont like. I dont really check out a lot of ship content tho. Some of these characters I find hard to see in relationships at all so I cant really get behind them being in ships. Like there are definitely characters that I cant see wanting to date anyone in high school.
Also yeah I think the bnha thing is true. I dont know about the letters, but I did hear about him getting hsrrased by shippers wanting to make their ships canon🙄. I try to stay away from the mha fandom online and keep my ships to myself. Its much more peaceful😂 - qyu anon

Haha I totally agree and I love that you keep them private, I never thought about that - about some characters not wanting to date people from high school— VERY TRUE for a lot of characters now that I think about it wow. How long does it usually take to write your outtakes? And do you plan out what you want to happen next or is it more of a when inspiration comes type process? Im really curious since im trying to write myself haha. Id love to hear about your process💛 - qyu anon
Hi qyu!!!! I hope you are having a good day💛
Back in the summer when I had shit all to do, one outtake collection would take me half a day to write. I much prefer doing all my writing in one sitting. I just lock myself away and Layla🐶 is always next to me while I write for hours, edit then post. That’s ONE outtake collection, so like 6-7 hours?
Generally speaking for ALL my one shots and Before the breakup in the Losty Series, I NEVER EVER planned out what I was going to write. I just start typing and see where it takes me then I post it. My personality is VERY nonchalant to the point where my friends and family ask me if I care about anything often 😂😂😂 that translates to my writing process
But after the Losty breakup, the story started becoming quite intricate and I had no time to write, so in the little time I did have I brainstormed with my friend. sent her sooooo many random Losty scenarios and trajectories and she helped me decide (she’d literally send back paragraphs saying this is how a reader would see it, absolutely amazing). It’s funny though because I still ended up going a slightly different route than what we had planned in September. (If you’re curious I can tell you how the breakup was ORIGINALLY supposed to go down—it was angst to another level and I’m happy I didn’t go that route)
Anyway, to clarify: after the breakup outtakes I would spend lots of time when I could just listening to Aone’s breakup playlist, putting ideas in my notes on my phone, and then one day when I finally found the time I would sit down (for the post breakup outtakes) and write for an entire day— around 12+ hours straight......then I’d sleep......then I’ll wake up & edit......post
