Just realised that today marks exactly 1 year since I started this account, so here’s a little redraw of the first thing I ever posted! (and also my first piece of star wars fanart!) guess this also means it’s time for a new profile pic!!

It’s incredible to think about the fact that in just a year I have created over 100 illustrations, been involved in zines and made some truly wonderful friends! I started this just after I finished uni so it definitely filled a hole in my life and I’m very thankful for it! How did you figure out how to paint skin(s)?

Hi! I’m assuming this is for my art blog, but :D

I have to be honest, I just squint really hard at the pics and check every stroke and shadow. Sometimes, I hope for the best.

This goes the same thing for skin tones. Sometimes, I colour drop them from the characters and apply it on my art, just for accuracy, because I’m a terrible perfectionist. But here’s another reference that’ll be helpful for you too!

4. Design a new character for the Wonder Woman mythos

oh this is a juicy question. Luckily I have one on hand.

so ww in general deals with femininity quite often, but my character specifically would be a teenage girl with prophetic abilities. V important that she does actually get these visions. Thing is, she realises quickly that everyone will just believe her, bc she’s prophetic. So she starts to lie to benefit herself. Eventually these lies spiral, and she’s pretty deep into this selfish spiral. But no one catches onto her bc if somethings going haywire, she’ll just “predict” that someone will lie. When she’s the one that’s actually lying. Obv, that’s not great. And ww’s whole gig is truth. So I think she’d be a pretty suitable character for a Wonder Woman story. + the added layer of her being able to weaponise her tears, age etc to stop her lies from being unraveled.

7. The young justice show… I’m sure some people like it. I’ve never watched it. I probably won’t ever watch it. I just don’t like the lineup or the fact that it uses the yj name while not being abt the comics yj at all 😭 also the age changing,, just make new characters pls zatanna is not the same age as Conner Kent.
