Reader just biting the guys affectionately.

Like she's just sitting on the couch and gets this urge and just leans over and sinks her teeth into Johnny's shoulder. It takes him by surprise, but of course, he has to bite her back every time.

Gaz would be taken aback. "Did you just bite me?" *reader innocently blinking* "yes." He'd get used to the reader's affectionate little nibbles here and there. Might teasingly bite her back one or twice.

Price is shocked. Thinks maybe they're in a fight or something. Reader kisses the slight mark it leaves behind on his skin and he realizes what's happening. Definitely just let's it happen. Definitely doesn't turn him on or anything.

She tries it once with Ghost. They're taking a break from training, and she just can't help it and sinks her teeth into his forearm. He lets out a low warning growl and she backs off. He definitely didn't like it. Not in the slightest. 😏

Also trying to argue about the value of an army with me is already a lost cause because I'm from Argentina and I think armies are stupid and a waste at best or a ground for reactionary and violent ideas at worst. There are many situations where armed forces and armed struggle are necessary, and I see the value of having well trained people to react to extreme situations and humanitarian crisis, but in after six (depends on who counts) coups and a military that kicked down every attempt at progress in this country with the backing of imperialists, I say no thank you.

Especially if it's the US military. Come on now. I'm being overly polite when I say "yanqui go home"

i've been contemplating the cats' respective moralities and have come to the conclusion that kitten understands what crime is and will occasionally commit it, whereas pud has no concept of sin or indeed of anything beyond "want thing" and "want thing now"

#see: the way they respond to being caught eating something they shouldn't #kitten will look up wide-eyed and then bolt - or he'll eat faster because he knows i'm about to take it away from him #pud will continue eating at her own pace completely unbothered by the fact that she's been caught #i can yell at her or clap my hands and she won't even acknowledge me #the only way to get her to stop eating is to physically remove her from the food #as far as she's concerned i am just a natural obstacle like a tornado or a rock that's inconveniently blocking her path to dinner

There's this idea I see sometimes that you can only like food insofar as you use it as a tool to satiate your hunger, but honestly? It's okay to like food not for how it serves you but for what it feels like and means.

It's okay to like food because it tastes good, because it reminds you of your childhood and your culture, because it reminds you of beautiful nostalgic memories. It's okay to like food. Food is such an integral part of the human experience. The more we minimize food as "solely a tool," the less connected we are to not only food but to ourselves because so often, people tie their bodies in with food and how it does or does not serve them.

Just so everyone understands why I'm losing my goddamn mind over finally getting a clean copy of Veld's character portrait from which to sample colors, I wanna show you a comparison.

Here's the palette I was using, sampled from scans and screenshots and a copy of his character portrait originally sourced sometime before 2007:

Top half is all skintones, while the bottom half is three shades used for hair and three shades used for eyes.

...And here's the new one, sampled from that shockingly clean copy of his character portrait sourced in 2019:

I'm getting over it (I like the updated palette, I really do) but I still kinda want to jump into the sun.
