thoughts on ps!dbf!bucky and thigh riding 👀
Stop it, this is one of my favourites, thigh riding is so simple but SO underrated 🙈
Because I think if there's anyone who understands just how good thigh riding can feel for his partner, it's ps!dbf!bucky. That man knows every trick in the book. He wrote the damn book. He laminated the pages of the book so they won't get wet. You get the idea.
And I love the thought of just a really slow, hazy, intimate afternoon with him that only speeds up out of need, rather than necessity. Just a lazy afternoon in bed, enjoying each other's company and no need to rush. There are no distractions other than your soft groans mingling with his and the faint sound of cars driving through the light rain that's falling outside.
It's cosy and familiar and there's a real comfort that comes with being so entirely wrapped up in him. His hands trail over your body, working their way under the t-shirt you're wearing, seeking out the warmth of your skin. His lips are firm and insistent, sliding against your own with a kind of ease that only comes from practice.
This feels so different to the scenes he films. Lust seeps into your movements so slowly, it reminds him none of this is orchestrated. You're touching him the way you want to touch him; you're not following a script and in return, he has the same freedom to just enjoy the moment.
"Baby..." He whispers, low and gravelly and you don't need to see him to know his eyes are closed. You take advantage of the chance to catch your breath, curling your fingers in his hair to pull him closer again after a second.
Instead of returning his lips to yours, they find their way to your neck, not that you have any issue with the open mouthed kisses he's now trailing down your skin. This is what he wants and you're more than happy to give it to him.
He allows himself a few seconds between kisses to just get entirely lost in you. He almost forgets the task at hand, he's so entirely consumed by the familiarity of the moment. The smell of your perfume, the heat of your body, the way you sound when you groan his name; everything screams 'home' to him. There's a gentle tenderness behind every touch and he doesn't want that to be forgotten.
But in the time he's spent inside his own head, he realises he's neglected your need a little more than he intended to. You're now gripping his thigh that had previously been just resting between both of yours, pressing your core down against it and oh, he didn't realise just how desperate you'd got until that point.
Your thin panties do nothing to hide your arousal, not that it was ever any secret given the way you're pressing his mouth to your neck and whimpering.
"Does that feel nice?" He teases quietly, pulling away from your neck so he can watch your face as you nod. "Good. I'm glad."
One of his hands holds your hip, guiding you back and forth over his thigh, making sure that you reach your full range of motion with each drag. "That's it, good girl. Nice and slow." A strange sort of pride blooms in his chest at the tiny sob of frustration he tears from your lips.
Your panties are entirely soaked through. Not that it ever takes very long but he's almost impressed by how little he's had to touch you to get you into this state.
"You're gonna make a mess, sweetheart." He sounds amused and ever so slightly condescending and it's just beautiful. "That's okay. You can go a little stupid if you want to. Hump my thigh if that's what you need." It sounds truly pathetic when he says it like that but at the same time, it feels so perfect you don't really have it in you to stop.

Ch. 10 - I Know People
Tumblr media
I know people usually better than they know themselves.
Donna stepped back as she opened the door, her greeting swallowed as Charlie breezed past her with little more than a barely audible 'hey' uttered as she slipped off her shoes and headed straight for Donna's couch.
"Well, it's wonderful to see you, too," Donna said, though she doubted Charlie heard it. The girl had a pair of earbuds stuck in her ears, her attention turned away from her, away from the brother Donna assumed was still on his way up to her apartment.
Donna was just able to catch the hum of Charlie's music from across the room and she sighed, turning from Charlie back to the open door as she waited for the ding of the elevator to arrive. Donna schooled her face as she waited, making certain that Harvey would understand from the set of her face alone that he would not be allowed out on his date without first explaining what he had done to cause his sister's mood.
First the kid was snapping at her on the phone yesterday and now Charlie was practically ignoring Donna in her own home. The Charlie that Donna had come to think of as a little sister was far from perfect. They rubbed against one another from time to time, but Charlie never treated Donna like this.
More often than not, she saved the unpleasantries for Harvey, using Donna as a sounding board. A safe space to complain.
"What exactly did you do to cause that?" Donna hissed as Harvey appeared around the corner.
Harvey's body heaved with a hefty breath as he closed the distance between them. He stepped into the apartment and pulled his gaze from Donna to see that Charlie had already curled up on the couch, one of the throw blankets pulled over her lap.
"I didn't do anything to her yet," Harvey answered, pushing a hand through his hair as he glanced back to Donna. He knew it wasn't worth it to hold out on her. She would surely question Charlie as soon as he left. He'd rather Donna hear his side of things, not that his side was anything grand or even complete.
Harvey didn't really know what was going on, but they'd done nothing but snap at one another all day. She had slept in, but within an hour of her leaving her bedroom, Harvey had been just a few cross interactions away from extending Charlie's grounding. As if she had known, or as if she, too, was growing tired of the tension, Charlie had just stopped talking to him altogether and shut herself in her bedroom until it was time to leave.
Donna hummed. "I'm sure that's why she looks so miserable. Because you did nothing," she mused as she shut the door. Donna turned back to Harvey, his gaze diverted once again to watch Charlie across the apartment. "No one is ever that upset to hang out with me, Harvey," Donna said as she brushed past Harvey and stepped toward the kitchen. Harvey followed and she turned back to him abruptly, stopping him in his tracks. "I didn't give up my weekend to deal with a moody teenager. Your moody teenager, mind you. I go through enough having to deal with one moody Specter all week."
Harvey felt a pang of something at the accusation, but he didn't try and decipher what—or why—and instead he smirked at her, raising his eyebrow.
"What would you rather be doing on a Saturday night than sorting out my sister, Donna?"
She scoffed. "Getting free drinks and free dinner someplace nice, among other things."
"Who ever said you weren't getting free dinner?" Harvey said as he casually slipped a crisp fifty-dollar bill across the counter. "Chinese takeout is on me tonight. Go crazy. Order yourself an extra egg roll."
Donna rolled her eyes. "You're gonna have to do a whole lot better than that if you plan on having a happy, well-adjusted kid to take home in the morning. My services don't come cheap, darling."
"I'm well aware," he answered as he took out a credit card and set it beside the fifty.
"So, what do I need to know?" Donna asked as she pulled both the card and cash into her grasp, moving to the edge of the counter to put the money in her purse.
Harvey should've maybe used the time to figure out some sort of answer, to do some reflection, but instead he found himself taking in Donna's appearance for the first time since he walked into the apartment.
Sure, Donna always looked put together at the office. She always looked beautiful, but seeing her on off-time was something different altogether. Beautiful in a way that was casual and natural in her black leggings and an oversized emerald green sweater. He had always been impressed by the way she could do that.
Harvey quietly watched Donna as her attention remained diverted, first on stashing away the money and then on observing Charlie one again, the questions clear on Donna's face as she worried her bottom lip. Harvey could tell that Donna's heart was already distracted by trying to figure out what was going on with his sister and Harvey knew he was lucky to have friends that cared for Charlie as much as he did, especially Donna and Mike.
He had needed their help with raising her more times than he liked to admit. Had needed them to share their perspectives, to get him to consider other sides, even if he didn't always like what they had to say.
"So?" Donna turned back to him. "What happened?"
"To be honest, I'm not even sure this time," Harvey conceded. "She's been like this since I got home yesterday, since before that, I guess…" he added, remembering the snappy phone call. "She knows I'm seeing Scottie tonight and I know she's not thrilled about that, but…"
Donna considered it as Harvey's words trailed off. "…But that doesn't bring this sort of thing out in her," she mused as her gaze once again strayed to watch Charlie for a moment. "Let me talk to her. I'll figure it out." Donna folded her arms over her chest and turned to face Harvey completely. "You owe me."
Harvey nodded. "Why does it seem like I'm always owing you something?"
Donna clapped a hand down on Harvey's shoulder and offered him a smile. "Because I'm Donna. And you would be lost without me, especially when it comes to the little girl moping on my couch. Well, that, and every other portion of your life."
Harvey unconsciously nodded as his eyes moved back to Charlie as she pulled a book out of her bag.
"Don't worry," Donna offered. "She can never stay angry with you for long. Like me, she loves you even when you're an arrogant, cocky idiot."
Harvey didn't respond, not quite able to find any humor in the jabs or any comfort in the mention of the love existing between them. He didn't doubt that. He knew Charlie loved him. Knew that she understood it went both ways, but Harvey also knew from experience that loving someone didn't mean you couldn't stay angry with them.
Donna's hand slipped over Harvey's on the counter and she offered a reassuring squeeze before leaving the kitchen to stand in the hallway.
"Charlie, let's go pick up some dinner. Ray can drop us off," Donna said as she moved about the apartment to gather her things—shoes, coat, and purse.
Harvey watched Charlie pick herself up off the couch, the movement both slow and indolent as she joined him by the front door.
"I hope you don't plan on giving Donna the silent treatment all night long. She's doing you a favor here," Harvey said as the two of them waited. Some part of him cringed as he said it, knowing that it came across more instigating than he had intended, some unresolved holdover from their frustrating afternoon slipping into his words.
"She's doing you a favor," Charlie snapped back. "More than one, since I'm sure you've already given her orders to sort me out."
The tone ground at something in him, but they were both straddling a thin line. Part of Harvey wondered if, though he headphones had been in, she'd been listening to the conversation that had passed between him and Donna and if that was the case and she had heard them, Harvey knew that her reaction was a tempered one. A restrained one.
Harvey waited for a breath before turning his gaze down to her, forcing a gentle smile to his face.
"Can you drop this act for a few hours and enjoy yourself? Be mad at me if you want, but don't take it out on Donna."
Charlie didn't answer, sending a quick glare in his direction before busying herself in her handbag. At least he acknowledged that she was upset. The acknowledgment soothed something in her the slightest bit though it didn't make her want to talk to him. Didn't make her want to explain.
"We're going to have a great time, Harvey. Don't you worry about us."
Donna smiled as she appeared beside Charlie. She ran a gentle hand through the girl's long waves and Charlie found another small part of herself helplessly soothed by the gesture.
Donna continued smiling at him, but Harvey couldn't find it in himself to return it. Instead, his gaze remained settled on his sister before Donna pushed them both towards the door.
Out on the sidewalk in front of Donna's building, Charlie gave Donna a pointed look as Harvey slid into the car on the opposite side.
"I'm not sitting in the middle," Charlie told her, though it was her usual seat whenever the three of them were taking the same car. There had once been a time when Charlie chose that seat even when it had just been the two of them—Harvey and Charlie—in the backseat of Ray's car, but that felt like a lifetime ago now.
"Donna doesn't slide, little chick," Donna answered, offering the seat to her with a sweep of her hand toward the open door.
Charlie begrudgingly slipped into the backseat and Ray gave her a smile in the rearview mirror. "Maybe I can just sit up front with R—" she started, cut off when Donna slipped in beside her, forcing her closer to Harvey and removing the opportunity.
Donna pulled the door closed behind her and shifted to settle in the seat. "Well, isn't this cozy?" she asked with raised eyebrows.
Charlie sat back, forcing herself into the small space between her brother and Donna, compelling the two of them to shift closer to the doors to further accommodate her. "I'm really getting too big to be riding bitch."
Harvey fought the urge to reach out and slap the back of his sister's head and rubbed at his own temples instead. "Was that really necessary?"
Charlie shrugged, but just barely, no sassy retort offered as she instead shifted toward Donna, her back facing her brother as the two of them started discussing dinner.
Harvey pulled his phone from his jacket pocket, and busied himself with emails and scrolling while he listened to the girls talking.
"How about sushi?" Charlie offered. "And dessert. And an expensive bottle of wine."
Harvey coughed. "Excuse me?"
Charlie didn't turn to him, but he could've sworn that he knew she was rolling her eyes just from the set of her body and the length of the pause she gave before providing him with an answer.
"You heard me," she said.
Harvey only blinked at the back of her head and Donna held back her smile, waiting until Charlie finally turned to her brother to release it.
"You want to try that again?" Harvey asked as he caught her eye.
Charlie shrugged again, and though it was only the second time she had done it, the gesture was grating on him. Almost as bad as when she said 'whatever' over and over.
"Not particularly," she added. "What's the problem anyway? You let me drink."
Harvey knew she was just pushing buttons. He knew every word and gesture was carefully crafted to rile him. He wanted to ignore it, but Charlie was good at reading people. Good at reading him. He wasn't sure what she was playing at, what she was aiming for, but whatever it was, he was having a hard time keeping himself level as she watched him.
"First of all, you can watch the tone," he said, watching for some reaction, some break in her façade, though he couldn't find it. "And second, I wouldn't consider allowing you have a sip once in a while letting you drink." His words didn't shift anything in her so he continued to level a stare at her, bracing himself for the answer he knew was coming even before her lips formed the words.
"Whatever, Harvey," Charlie offered before she turned back to Donna.
Donna's brief eye contact above Charlie's head was all the confirmation he needed to let it go. She'd maybe let the girl have a few sips of wine back at the apartment if she brought it up again. It wasn't something Harvey needed to worry about, and truthfully, he usually didn't. When Charlie was with Donna, he knew she was in good hands, better off than when she was with him, probably, but something about today was different and as Ray brought them closer and closer to the restaurant Charlie and Donna had chosen, something uncomfortable settled into Harvey's stomach.
By the time Charlie and Donna sat down across from one another at the crowded little restaurant, Charlie was nearly silent, a fact that Donna took as confirmation that everything that had happened in the car on the way to dinner had been for show. To push her brother's buttons and then some.
Donna let her stay quiet after they placed their orders though she didn't bother trying to hide the fact that she was watching Charlie and reading into her every move and expression as the girl looked around the restaurant in an attempted display of avid people watching.
After the waiter delivered their food and stepped away, Donna retrieved her chopsticks and without looking at Charlie asked, "So, what did your brother do?"
Charlie sipped on her water, flicking her eyes to Donna for a moment. "Nothing."
"Charlie," Donna chided as she retrieved a piece of sushi. "This is Donna you're speaking to here."
Charlie shrugged, continuing to sip on the water. Donna set her chopsticks down, giving the girl a pointed look.
"You've got sushi rolls in front of you and you're not eating them. There's something wrong."
Charlie almost chuckled, remembering that Harvey had made the same accusation at dinner the night before, but she forced her face to remain neutral as she picked up her chopsticks. She made a production of picking up a piece of sushi and dipping it in the soy sauce before placing it in her mouth. Charlie was still chewing, but was already preparing to reach for another piece.
Donna squinted at Charlie for a moment, unhappy with the progression of their conversation thus far, and as she watched, her mind sifting through her mental files at the same time, something clicked for Donna. Something she'd predicted weeks ago.
Donna softened as she looked at the girl. "Is this about the letter?" she asked.
Charlie stopped chewing, staring wide-eyed at Donna as she swallowed down the remaining food in her mouth, all of it fighting to get past the hard, painful lump in her throat.
"He told you?" Charlie hissed, her voice quiet and fragile. Hurt.
Donna didn't have a chance to answer as she watched something break inside Charlie, whatever wall she had put up to protect herself crumbled by Donna's assumption. Crumbled by the fact that Harvey had told her while keeping it from Charlie.
Donna slipped over to Charlie's side of the table and pulled the girl into her arms just as she dissolved into tears. Donna diverted her attention long enough to signal to the waiter and ask for their food to be packaged to go, all the while rubbing small, soothing circles on Charlie's back.
--
Back in her apartment, Donna let Charlie pour out their glasses of wine while she cut and plate the cheesecake Donna had ordered for them. It had been delivered just as their taxi was arriving in front of her apartment building.
Charlie had stopped crying during the cab ride home, pushing away and promptly closing herself back up against Donna's subtle prying before they even made it a few blocks. Charlie had allowed herself to be comforted by Donna, had allowed her soothing words and her hugging arms, but she wouldn't allow the questions. Wouldn't allow herself to be tricked into answering them.
Donna hadn't pushed it.
The two of them curled up on the couch under a blanket, glasses of wine and plates of cheesecake in hand, their sushi dinners abandoned in the fridge while His Girl Friday played in the background. Donna had a large collection, but Charlie frequented to the movie. It was ironic that she so often gravitated toward a movie that had been a gift from Harvey, purchased shortly after she had come to work with him at Pearson-Hardman years ago, and Donna wondered whether that information played into Charlie's choice now.
Donna couldn't be sure. Had she not known better, she would've thought Charlie was fine. The two of them sat quietly in the dark, the room illuminated by nothing more than a candle and the tv screen and Charlie paid Donna no mind, seemingly focused on the movie as she sipped wine through a looped plastic silly straw. Donna didn't even know that she had them stashed away in her pantry, likely leftovers from the last time her nieces and nephew visited, but she wasn't surprised Charlie had found them.
To think Donna remembered Charlie being the same age her nieces and nephews were now. She'd known the girl that long, had been a part of Harvey and Charlie's lives for that many years…long enough to know them this well, long enough to spend her Friday nights sifting through the both of them, trying to make sense of what the two of them couldn't on their own.
His Girl Friday, indeed.
When one of the movie's cleverest lines didn't elicit even the slightest acknowledgment from Charlie, Donna paused the movie and reached behind her to turn on the lamp.
"Oh, Chickie," Donna sighed, catching Charlie quickly wipe at her eyes as she turned back around.
Donna didn't miss her own adolescence. She didn't miss the uncertainty or the hurt it caused. And while Donna knew that Charlie's experience was unique from her own, Donna recognized Charlie's growing pains and was reminded of her own, a certain pain echoing in her own heart at seeing the girl crying once more at the end of her sofa.
Donna opened her arms without another word, shifting closer on the cushion. Charlie quickly bridged the distance between them, letting Donna soothe her once again, staying mostly quiet until Charlie's sobs finally turned to words, no prompts or questions needed as Charlie let loose all that was weighing on her heart and her mind.
"He didn't mean to upset you," Donna offered, smoothing Charlie's hair as she leaned into Donna's hold. "Everything he does is because he loves you. You are the most important thing in his life."
Logically, Charlie knew that. She knew it and yet some part of that still rubbed at something within her.
"We aren't supposed to keep things from each other."
"I know," Donna answered. She knew because she was part of that two, somehow included in their agreement by association. They didn't keep things from each other, not things that mattered, but Harvey, and Donna, by association, had kept this from Charlie. Donna bit her lip, sighing lightly before continuing. "You're not wrong, but he was trying to protect you."
"I know," Charlie forced herself to say as she pulled away from Donna, retreating back to her own cushion. "And now I've gone and kept this from him and he's probably going to be—"
"He's not going to be upset with you, little chick. I won't let him."
Charlie pressed her palms to her eyes, willing the stinging tears that threatened once again to stop. She didn't want to cry anymore. She didn't want to think about having this conversation with her brother either, even though she knew it was inevitable now. She had wanted it, on some level she had been aching for it even since she found the letter, but now that it was inescapable, the idea of it suffocated her.
Donna reached out to pull Charlie's hands away from her face, holding them in the space between them. "He isn't going to be upset," Donna said again, her thumbs running gentle circles over the back of Charlie's hands.
Charlie seemed to accept Donna's words. A certain weight had been lifted off of her, but Charlie still couldn't escape the heavy unease settled in her stomach. For days now, she had been questioning how to handle it, turning it all over and over in her mind, and she felt as though she had only given herself more to question, more to feel guilty over.
Because although her brother's rules sometimes felt like an ever-tightening leash, they were also a comfort. They were steady and predictable. She could push against the boundaries of them all she liked, seeking loopholes and working around the edges, but at the end of the day, they remained. And more often than not, she tried to adhere to Harvey's standards. To make him proud.
Charlie liked that there weren't usually secrets between the two of them, not when it mattered. Not about things like this. Donna knew as much. She had told Harvey that only trouble would come from not telling Charlie about the letter.
Donna watched as Charlie dug into her bag, pulling out the envelope and handing it over. Donna looked it over, scrutinizing the words even though she was already well-versed in the content from all Harvey had told her.
"So, what do you think?"
"I think that's up to you and Harvey to decide."
Charlie swallowed, her gaze drifting across the room. Even with her face turned away, Donna could see the tears brimming in Charlie's eyes.
"Charlie, talk to me."
Charlie shook her head, just a subtle movement. "I'm just tired."
Donna sighed as she swiftly rearranged herself and the throw pillows. Charlie lay her head down against the pillow in Donna's lap when beckoned, too tired and lost in thought to fight. Charlie didn't say anything else, not about the letter or the decisions left to be made. She didn't say anything about the decisions that had already been made, either, though those were in the front of her mind as Donna's gentle fingers stroked through her hair, eventually sending her off to sleep.
--
It was two in the morning when Harvey arrived at Donna's threshold. She had answered the text message he'd sent telling her he was on his way, but he was still surprised to see her still dressed and wide awake.
"Coffee, wine, or scotch?" she asked as she left him standing on the threshold.
Harvey stepped inside, toeing off his shoes before he glanced around the apartment. Charlie was asleep on the couch. Her face was turned away from him, nothing more than a bundle of blankets, but the fact that she was asleep was enough to quell the restlessness he'd been feeling.
"Coffee," he answered as he turned back to Donna.
She nodded, pulling them out to sit on the countertop while she waited for the kettle to finish boiling the water.
"Date didn't go well?"
Harvey leaned against the counter and gave her a sideways glance, waiting until Donna looked away from the French press long enough to meet his eye. She smiled at that, as if it was answer enough.
"How was she?"
"She'll be fine," Donna answered as she finished pouring the water, a spoon casually mixing up the coffee before she settled the lid on top. "How are you, Harvey?"
"I'm fine, Donna," he let the words out as an offering, though his tone exposed enough of the lie in his words. He hadn't been fine for a few days now.
"Is that why you're in my apartment and not with Scottie right now?" Donna withstood the silence, withstood the look she gave him, too.
Donna scoffed. "I know people usually better than they know themselves, Harvey, and I specialize in Specters. This would all be a lot easier if the two of you would realize that."
Donna slid the envelope across the counter towards him. Harvey felt a heaviness drop into the pit of his stomach as Donna's manicured fingers left the paper sitting between them, but the feeling was fleeting, and followed by a rush of relief.
"Well, at least she knows," he said, more to himself than anything. If Charlie already knew about it, Harvey was saved from the difficulty of figuring out what, exactly, to tell her.
Donna blinked hard, some part of her wanting to reach out and smack him. "She's very upset, Harvey, with you and about the letter. She's known for days and hasn't been sleeping because of it." Harvey swallowed, his gaze drifting to where she was asleep out in the living room. "She only fell asleep here because she was so exhausted and cried herself to sleep."
"You got all this from one glass of wine?"
"I'm Donna," she answered. "She told me what the problem was before dessert. The wine got me a few extra details."
Harvey raised an eyebrow.
"So what if she pours like you do?" Donna shrugged, knowing she'd probably learned her proportioning from watching how much he poured into a glass at the end of a long day.
Harvey almost found it in him to smile at that, but the sound of Charlie's whimper reached him first and his mind brought him back to earlier times, back when she was still new to them. The night terrors were common back then, just after she had moved in with their father, but after a certain point, his father didn't talk about them and neither did Charlie. Harvey always thought that his sister had grown out of them, but after living with her for a few years, he had learned that they were just less frequent.
As far as Harvey knew, it had been a little over a year since the last one. It had been that long since she woke him in the middle of the night, at least, and he was sure that the letter was to blame for her suffering now. His not telling her was to blame.
He wasn't meant to disturb her. Harvey knew that much. It was better to leave her be, but he couldn't help himself as he slid onto the couch beside her, pushing her sweaty hair back from her face.
"It's okay, kiddo. I'm here," he said, repeating the sentiment as she remained restless.
When Donna realized that Harvey wouldn't be coming back to the kitchen, she took both mugs out to the living room, setting Harvey's down on the end table before curling up in the chair across from him. She watched fondly as Harvey doted on his sister.
Charlie's hand grasped onto Harvey's, holding it and the arm he had draped around her close as she settled back into a calm sleep.
Donna knew that she was lucky to see this side of them. She saw glimpses of this side of Harvey with Mike, but here with Charlie…with her…Harvey was completely unguarded.
"She's going to be fine, Harvey," Donna offered, some part of her convinced that he needed to hear it again. "Just trust her with the truth next time."
Harvey heard the words, but he was still preoccupied with his sister.
"Thank you, Donna," he answered absently, Donna's words registering though Harvey barely processed them, too focused on the grip Charlie held on him, both on his hand and his heart.

Zeke, holding a magnifying glass: Scientifically experimented on without consent and disposed off as soon as I am no longer useful.
Pieck: No.

*The squad is having dinner together*
Historia: Mikasa, can you pass the salt?

Commander Magath: Could you all PLEASE focus and not get distracted by a shop with a sign? Where's the guy we're tailing?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Annie, laying on her bed: I've heard people say my name twice today, it's either ghosts or hallucinations
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner, from behind the door: It's me outside. Do you want some muffins?
Annie: What kind?
Reiner: Zucchini, but it tastes like banana nut
Banannie: Bananas can nut?
Reiner: You know what? I'll keep my muffins.

Zeke: Watch out for the brain scorpions though
Falco: It's the basil
Gabi: Yeah, can confirm, it's the basil that does it.
Pieck: Good points
Pieck: Wait what was that first thing?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Zeke: *Holding a picture of Pieck* Have you seen this woman?
Hange: No, why? Is she missing?
Zeke: She's on vacation and I miss her

Sasha, fighting Gabi: You know, out of all the children I've ever had fights to the death with, this is the weirdest one
Reiner: Dammit, Gabi, I told you the cat ears weren't hype anymore!
Sasha: These baddies getting weirder and weirder
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Mr. Leonhart: Annie's at that very special age where a girl has only one thing on her mind
Commander Magath: Boys?
Annie: Homicide.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Moblit: Pro-tip: Keep a bunch of wrapped, empty boxes under the christmas tree. When a child misbehaves, throw one in the fireplace.
Hange: ...
Hange: What do I do when I run out of children?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Pieck: *sticking a paper that reads "naughty and disobedient children DO NOT FEED" on Falco and Gabi*
Zeke: If those kids could read they'd be very upset

Reiner: *points at his shirt that reads "i rely on pharmaceutical drugs to perform routine tasks"*
Reiner: *turns around, showing the back that reads "and then i don't do them"*

Armin: Eren, you tried to color my face with a highlighter because you said I was important
Eren, tearing up: But you are
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Falco, lowering his voice in an intimidating manner: Don't talk down to me!
Colt: Well, I can hardly talk up to you. You're too short.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Porco: *finishing remplacing Reiner's condiments with toothpaste* Don't tell Reiner about this?
Gabi: You want me to lie to Reiner?
Porco: Is that a problem?
Gabi: No.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Sasha: I have a bad feeling about this
Gabi: What do you mean?
Sasha: Don't you ever get that little voice in your head that tells you if something is going to get you in trouble?
Gabi: No?
Sasha: That... Explains so much actually
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Gabi, bleeding out: Call me an ambulance.
Falco, leaning over her, panicking: You're an ambulance??!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: Okay, okay, uh, you're losing a lot of blood, what's your type?
Gabi: Oh anything really but nerds especially
Reiner: YOUR BLOOD TYPE
Gabi: *looks down* Uh. Red?
Falco: B positive
Reiner: LOOK I'M TRYING BUT SHE'S LITERALLY ABOUT TO DIE
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Gabi: *waking up in an unfamiliar bed* I love sleepovers
Porco: This isn't a sleepover, you're in the hospital
Gabi: Then why am I wearing this nightgown?
Porco: This is an hospital gown?
Gabi: Truth or dare?
Porco:
Porco: ...Dare
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Gabi: What happened?
Pieck: You were shot. Do you remember anything?
Gabi: Only the ambulance ride to the hospital.
Falco: We didn't ride the ambulance
Gabi: Really? Then what was that loud siren?
Reiner: I was panicking, okay!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Gabi: Don't worry, I'll be fine.
Reiner: Well you still were shot!!
Gabi: I've been shot before.
Reiner: It's not like you build up an immunity to bullets!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: You got three eggs
Annie: Yes
Reiner: I'll give you a cookie for them
Annie: Mmh. How good is the cookie?

Annie: So you tricking me?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Zeke, to Eren: I'm trying to figure out a way to get rid of you so I can go commit atrocities
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Eren: Why is there always a law against everything I wanna do?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Pieck: Hey Zeke, you know Marcel's throwing a party on the night of the new railroad inauguration
Zeke: Yeah, I've been arguing with Porco about this.
Pieck: Oh, he wants to go to the inauguration?
Zeke: No! Why would he want to-
Pieck: Oh sorry, YOU want to go to the inauguration?
Zeke: No! We've been arguing over who gets to go to Marcel's party with you
Pieck: Can't the three of us just go together?
Zeke: ... Good point
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Commander Magath: *squishes Gabi's face between two slices of bread* And what are you?
Gabi: An idiot sandwich :(
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Eren: I'm definitely the disappointment of the family but also the hottest so i can see why i got them pressed
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Ymir: I'm allergic to color.
Historia: Sounds like a "hue" problem
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Historia: We’ve got to find a way to cut down on expenses inside those walls. What can we live without?
Levi: Probably Eren Yaeger
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Armin: Flirt back goddamit
Annie: HOW

Historia: They're called leggings because
Connie: Take your time

Zeke: If only I were kpop. Then you'd all see.
Colt: You're already popular and widely hated. What more do you want??
Zeke: Thanks for saying that
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Historia, crouched down in front of her plants, examining insect bites on the leaves: I’m going to kill whoever did this. I’m going to kill them for you. Don’t worry babies. I’m going to murder every single contemptible degenerate that ever got a mouthful of you. They’ll die screaming
Ymir, walking out of the house: Oh! Okay. You’re talking to the plants. Okay-
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Jean: Why did you go to sleep so late?
Mikasa, looking into the distance: There is no rest for the wicked
Jean:
Mikasa:
Historia: Cat videos. She stayed up to watch cat videos.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: Could you be any more annoying... Lol
Sasha: Easily.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: I love it when you're drinking pineapple drinks and you can't feel your tongue and your entire face starts sweating, it's so cleansing.
Porco: Sounds like you're allergic to pineapples.
Gabi: Pineapples are supposed to taste like that.
Porco: Pretty sure you're allergic too.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
King Fritz: Bro stop chanting in dead languages you're scaring the hoes
Ymir Fritz: I'm summoning the hoes fool
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Annie: Long time no see, Galliard. I missed you.
Porco: I missed you too
*Both reload their pistols*
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: I've got a nice little word exercise for you: GET TO THE FUCKING POINT.
Sasha: Tempting, but have you considered this little affirmation; No?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner:
Gabi to the McDonalds employee: He asked for no pickles!! Takes the pickles off or I'll make jello out of all your bones!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Ymir: I went to gay loser land and they said you're like a god to them
Reiner: Why did you go there?
Ymir: Anthropology
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: Hello, people who do not live here!
Pieck: Hi!
Porco: Hello!
Reiner: I gave you a key for emergencies
Pieck: We were out of doritos
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Pieck: You know where I want to kiss you??
Zeke: On the lips?
Pieck: No.
Zeke: Neck?
Pieck: No.
Zeke: ██ █████🔞█████?
Pieck: No.
Zeke: Then where?
Pieck: In front of all our friends and family when we both say "I do"
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Eren: Wait, is Captain Levi sleeping or dead?
Jean: Hopefully dead, I hated his guts.
Eren: Yeah, so did I.
Levi: Okay first of all, fuck you two-
Eren and Jean:
𓀥    𓁆 𓀕
𓁆 𓀟   𓀣 𓁀
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*Hange is cooking*
Levi: That's... An unusual sight. Since when do you cook?
Hange: This is for Erwin. I’m planning on making some bad choices tonight, and I need him on my side.
Levi: I never quite realized the forethought that went into being a disappointment.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*Right before the battle of Liberio*
Sasha: So you remember the plan if I ever get hurt during this battle, right?
Connie: Of course.
Sasha: Tell me.
Connie: In the case of you ever being shot, as you fall to the ground, I am to sing, "MMMM WHATCHA SAY" no matter the circumstances.
Sasha: Good.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Hange: So, guy's old lady comes home, okay, finds him laid cold on the ground with half his head missing
Mikasa: Well, that sounds like there's a titan on the loose.
Hange: Maybe.
Mikasa: So, how does that make this our kind of thing?
Hange: Because, Mikasa, Eren's in the wind, okay, you're sulking around like a ennuch in a whorehouse, and I can't help but ask myself, when is decapitation not my thing?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Historia: rats are like... the rats of the world
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Annie: Gee, Zeke. I thought that someone with two wives would be happy.
Porco: Nah, you're thinking of someone with two knives
Gabi: *holding two knives*
Gabi: I gotta tell you, this is pretty terrific!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Zeke: I am not out of control! I'm a law abiding citizen!
Reiner: Really? Name one law
Zeke: Don't kill people?
Reiner: That's on me. I set the bar too low.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Annie: In light of what you did for me, you may hug me for four to five seconds.
Historia: FORTY-FIVE SECONDS?!
Annie: NO! That's not what I-
Historia, running at her: Too late!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Gabi: *wearing a shirt that says "you are not immune to propaganda"*
Falco: *carrying a baseball bat labelled "propaganda"*
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Hange: here’s a concept: me, riding your ceiling fan like a gargoyle. you, smacking me with a broom. both of us are yelling
Levi:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Connie: "i can fix him" "i can make him worse" im at the gas station yall want anything
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Armin: Admit that you made that whole story up!
Reiner: No!
Armin: You started that fight!
Reiner: You callin’ me a liar?
Armin: No but I ain't callin’ you a truther either!
Mikasa: Armin, stop being a coward. Call him a bitch to his face.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Historia, throwing her head into Ymir's lap: Tell me I’m pretty.
Ymir, lovingly stroking her hair: You’re pretty annoying, that’s what you are.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Mikasa: I like my coffee the same way I like my men
Mikasa: Dark, bitter, and too hot for me
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: WHY IS THERE BLOOD EVERYWHERE?!
Zeke: I may have aggressively poked someone with a knife
Reiner: You stabbed someone??
Zeke: No, I just fucking said that I aggressively poked someone with a knife. There's a difference, Reiner!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Sasha, giving a talk at her 367th "how to woo Historia Reiss" talk of the year: Just be yourself. Say something nice.
Ymir: Which one?! I can't do both!
Reiner: Is "I would betray my country for you" considered nice or too foward?
Eren: Try "Daaaaamn girl you looked hot when you were murdering your hideous centipede titan of a father" instead
Sasha, sternly: Eren. I don't want to do it but I'm going to ban you from the lessons if you keep that attitude going.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Eren: *getting stabbed*
Eren, walking away: This is mine now
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Historia: Wow, you really are the smartest person I know!
Mikasa: You hang out with Sasha and Connie
Mikasa: It's not as high a compliment as you think
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*Armin and Hange got kidnapped*
Hange: *Removing her handcuffs* You're lucky that I know how to get out of these.
Armin: Yeah, thank God you've been arrested enough times.
Hange: Hmm. Sure. Arrested.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Reiner: You know, when Pieck comes over, Zeke can get a little...
Annie: Psycho?
Colt: Scary?
Bertholt: Drunk?
Reiner: All three, actually
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
*At a dinner party in Historia's palace but someone has just been murdered*
Detective Historia, to Hange: You're acting pretty carefree for someone whose life has just been threatened. Who's to say you're not the murderer?
Hange: It's a murder, not a tax audit. I'll be fine.
Reiner: What about Pieck? Nobody ever suspects Pieck!
Pieck: Well what about Sasha? She has a gun!
Sasha: And Connie has a knife!
Connie: Yeah, for fun, not murder! *stabs Reiner in the arm*
*Everybody screams*
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Pieck: Okay, so I think that was pretty clear in establishing we're all wussies and none of us did it
Detective Historia, taking a puff out of her pipe: Elementary, my dear Watson
Pieck: What?
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Note that the "what should i get from the store" quote is, in fact, NOT the same one as in part 6. Neither is the gaz station one. I don't make mistakes, feeble mortals.
Find more of these here ! Also here's one of the incorrect quotes because it was particularly funny

Island Demogorgon Daily
Demogorgon daily prompt Isand for the @strangerthingswritersguild discord
On Ao3 here
---
"Maybe we can go on a holiday," Steve says, head leaning back against the wall of the boat house. "After all this is done, we deserve a break right?"
"Hm? A holiday?" Eddie scoffs, "not all of us are rolling in it Harrington."
"Yeah, because Family Video pays me a fortune," he rolls his head to look at Eddie, sees him looking at him sceptically. "My parents didn't love that I wasn't accepted by the college they wanted, they don't even pay the utilities any more dude they haven't been home since..." it takes him a moment to place it, they'd stopped in twice in '83 to pick up clothes, more of his mother's jewellery, that sort of thing. "They haven't been in the house for more than a day or two at a time since long before junior year when all this stuff started."
"Well. That's a bummer, way to bring down the mood," Eddie says, but the corner of his mouth is lifted, like he's teasing.
"Oh sorry, we can go back to talking about evil wizards and demo creatures if you want?" He jokes back.
"You know, you guys still haven't told me everything from the beginning, maybe you could?" Eddie hesitates before adding, "maybe not tonight, though. It's already hard enough to sleep in this place."
"Good idea, this place is..." Steve grimaces as he looks around, the boathouse hasn't been very well maintained, broken boards around the place and water damage rotting through. It creaks with even the slightest gust of wind in a way that makes them both flinch, sitting in the dark on high alert and listening out for anyone coming closer. The way it keeps sending his heart rate up hasn't been fun. "I wanted to move you to my place, but I was outvoted."
"Aw Harrington, concerned about little ol' me out here all alone?" Eddie bats his eyelashes, swooning with the back of his hand against his forehead into Steve's side, a long line of heat in the cold.
"I'm here, aren't I?" He leans into Eddie in return when he doesn't pull away, he wouldn't want to be alone here, so he won't leave Eddie here by himself either.
"Yeah, you are." Eddies smile goes soft, more genuine, "so, you mentioned a holiday? Where are you taking me?"
"I don't know, I was thinking something easy, drive across the country, have a road trip, see the sights."
"See the sights? Go for a drive?" Eddie says flatly, "wow you're really swinging for the fences there, big ambition on you."
"Oh yeah? Well where would you go then?" Steve huffs, crossing his arms across his chest.
"I wanted to see the world, travel to new places. I always thought one day the band would take off, and we'd tour and then I'd be able to go anywhere I wanted." He looks sort of wistful, sad, so Steve has to interrupt.
"I mean it still could take off, I only heard you guys the one time, but you're not bad." Eddie slouches down a little further, so he can tip his head back and look at Steve upside down.
"Not bad? High and lofty praise from the king there, and-" he sits up, turning to face Steve properly with his jaw dropped, "wait when did you see us play?" Steve can't say he isn't enjoying the shocked look on Eddie's face.
"At The Hideout? I can't really remember any of the songs but I do remember thinking you were good." Eddie takes a moment to gather himself after that, exaggeratedly lifting his jaw up with his hand and flopping dramatically back into Steve's side.
"Well I never," he says, talking like some sort of southern belle from a movie, fanning himself with his hand. "Not only are we not bad, but good even, and I thought you were gushing before, I'm gonna catch a case of the vapors, I may faint right here."
"Such a dork," Steve says, shaking his head and shoving Eddie off, though not quite able to smother down the smile at his antics. "So that's it then? World tour, your name in lights, and adoring fans? Doesn't really sound like a holiday though, it sounds like work."
"Depends how all of this goes I guess, it's funny, being hunted by a mob makes crowds chasing me down and having no privacy seem even less appealing."
"We'll go somewhere quiet, then," Steve says matter of fact. "Some island somewhere with a deserted beach to lay on and drink out of coconuts with a straw, no other people in sight."
"Coconuts huh? I could maybe get behind that, you'd have to promise to help me rub sunscreen on my back though, this delicate skin is not meant for direct sunlight." He says it all sly, leaning back in towards Steve like he expects him to pull back, recoil and make a joke of it. Steve maybe chooses another direction, leaning in himself with a smirk.
"If you want my hands all over you so badly all you gotta do is ask, Munson." He watches Eddie blink, face getting redder in increments until he pulls back and thumps his head against the wall.
"Don't start things you aren't willing to follow through on, Stevie," Eddie says, voice gone just a little mean like he thinks he's being made fun of, "you'll get a boy's hopes up."
"I've been told I'm pretty reliable these days, actually," Steve says, "stick around and I'll prove it." Eddie turns to stare at him, stare hard like he's looking right into Steve's soul to judge his sincerity. Steve lets him look his fill, he might not have noticed Eddie like this while they were at school together, more in an offhanded 'I'm envious that guy can be so himself' kind of way, but in the last year things have changed. Taking the kids back and forth to hellfire and catching glimpses of Eddie in his element, hearing all the kids stories, and then seeing him up on stage like that, all passionate and wild and free.
Anyone would be hard pressed not to crush on the guy after that.
"Alright, sure thing Sweetheart, if we both make it out of this we'll go have an island holiday, and you can prove it." He looks at Steve, eyes glittering with mirth, like he doesn't quite believe Steve but he's willing to play along for the bit. That's okay though, Steve will show him.
Ugh he's gonna have to ask Robin which islands are good islands to holiday on isn't he. She's gonna ask him why and then be utterly merciless.
Oh well, he thinks, eyes locked onto Eddie's silly little smirk. It'll be worth it.

Roommates (Original Work) Ch 4.
Safe With Me (contains Omorashi)
Read it on my Ao3 here: Link
August is sitting uncomfortably on the floor of Rowan’s room, borrowed sweatpants feeling like they are gonna burst at the seams, eyes cast down to his fingers, twiddling with the dark blue rug taking up half of the room. Gray is sitting a few feet away messing with Rowan's ipad, listening to some type of minecraft youtube video through Rowan’s airpods.
“You know…this is like breaking every single school rule imaginable, right?” Rowan says quietly, from the desk chair mere feet away from August, motioning to the kid.
“Hence why you weren't supposed to find out.” August says under his breath, feeling, not so in the mood for arguing after utterly embarrassing himself again.
“I think there is a lot of stuff you haven't told me, but I'm least worried about the kid. Seems like Max did the right thing, no kid his age should be around their parents when they're drunk. Bringing him to our super strict zero-tolerance boarding school…That was questionable but what can I do now? He is already here and it's the middle of the night.” August lets out a sigh of relief, he couldn't imagine Max’s reaction if Rowan took Gray to the headmaster. “But-” August snaps his eyes up to meet Rowans, for the first time since coming back from his shower. “We have to talk about what happened.” and, August once relieved tension skyrockers back up to his ears,
“I don't want to.” August wines, pulling his knees up to his chest, ignore the sounds of all the threats breaking in his pants.
“I know you said it's your anxiety that causes your…other issue.” Rowan says, looking at Gray while speaking vaguely, “Is what happened tonight related to that? I'm not trying to make fun of you or anything but, its-” Rowan seems just as much at a loss for words as August is.
“It’s weird that I keep pissing myself? I know…” August feels shame. He can feel this stomach tightening, his anxiety heightening, he angrily grabs onto the fibers of the rug with his hand, digging his nails into the padding of the rug, “The kid woke me up, I was dry but had to piss…tried the restroom…it didn't work. Thought I could make it here and you saw how that ended up.” August explains, hiding it will just make his anxiety worse, in turn making his issues worse.
“Why…um, did the restroom not work?” Rowan asks about the part August was hoping they would just jump over and move on from without acknowledging it, He should have known Rowan wouldn't give up that easily.
“The kid was with me…I couldn’t go with someone, you know, around.” August cringes, he actually cringes. He rips a few pieces of the rug out and bans himself from touching it, knowing he already defaced the floor of this room once tonight.
“Shit dude…If this is like- a thing for you…How the hell are you gonna manage sharing a communal restroom when the rest of the guys get back to the dorms tomorrow, It's never empty, not completely. Or during class? You can expect to run back to the dorms every time you have to go during class, you will get caught.” August swallows hard, that is exactly what he was planning to do. The dorms should be empty when everyone living in them is in class, he long accepted the fact that his classmates would think he was taking a dump every time he excused himself to pee because of how long it would take, but he would accept the occasionally poop joke at his expense to not literally pee his pants in class.
“I'm open to suggestions.” August shrugs, stumped and annoyed.
“What did you do at your old school?” Rowan asks, clearly trying to help. August looks to make sure Gray is still preoccupied before spilling another one of his horribly embarrassing secrets…
~
Most days August has his bathroom habits down to a perfect science. He would go before he left for school in the morning in his safe, perfect bathroom in his house. Of course, he would need to go by the end of the day on most days. Sure it was uncomfortable to have to walk home feeling like you have a liter of sprite sloshing around inside of you, but He managed. One unfortunate day he found he couldn't manage.
Somehow by fourth period, He was already a squirming mess. He couldn't for the life of him figure out why. His habits naturally included drinking less and making sure he didn't have tea or coffee or anything that would make him have to go more. He just knew he was not going to make it home like he usually did. Of course he tried to find a bathroom that was empty, but his public school was big, and did not have that many bathrooms. By the time he got out of fifth period and was heading to lunch, he was hardly able to think about anything else besides peeing.
So…When he got his lunch and his juice was handed to him in a tall, scratched up plastic cup, His eyes flicked with the idea. He didn't eat any of his food, ditching his tray at a random table and dumping out his cup in the trash, but holding onto the receptacle. He found an empty classroom swiftly, making sure he was far enough away from the cafeteria that nobody would wander in. Dropped his pants just enough to pull himself out and shamefully let go in the juice cup.
When he finished doing it the first time, he realized he still needed somewhere to put the cup and spill out the shameful liquid he had just filled it with. That day he ended up hiding it in his locker, asking to go to the bathroom during his next class and spilling it out in the sink in the bathroom, but all the times after that, because he did continue it for his entire time at that school, He made sure to sneak into an empty science classroom and pour his piss down one of the science station sinks.
Nobody ever found out. He never had to sit through his last period class being so immensely uncomfortable ever again, and he never had to step foot in the horrible school bathrooms either…
~
“So yeah, I'm disgusting.” August finishes telling his story, his horrible, embarrassing story.
“August, that's terrible. You shouldn't have had to do that, your needs should have been accommodated.” Rowan says, August can feel the genuine sorrow in his voice, but August doesnt feel bad for himself, the situation was of his own making after all,
“They would have, had I told anyone. I don't want to be the guy who uses the nurses bathroom, or hell, you know, the guy who changes in the stall. It's embarrassing to be different.” August would rather pee in a cup every single day then tell the Headmaster he has ‘potty issues’. His mom pavlov dogging him is another thing, it's not his fault, this thought feels like it is.
“Where the hell is he?” The door to Rowan's room slams open, Max stops dead in his tracks peering around the room. “Why the fuck would you take him out of our room? Do you know how much of an idiot you are?” August doesnt have time to react before Max’s hands are bundled in the front of his shirt, pulling him up to eye level.
“Hey, lets just calm down-”
“Shut up, ladyboy! this has nothing to do with you.” Max yells, Rowan takes a step back towards his bed, “You could have gotten me kicked out! Why would you leave? Whatever it was I was right there-”
“Stop!” Gray yells, standing up, Ipad and airpods abandoned, “It was my fault. I asked August to take me to the restroom because I couldn't wake you up!” Gray rubs at his tired eyes,
“Gray, Fuck dude. You know what I told you…” Max bends down to his brother's level letting go of August's shirt, He promptly backs away, knocking into Rowan in the process who places a leveled hand on his shoulder.
“What was I supposed to do? Pee on your floor?” Gray says, with a bit of sass in his voice, August is slightly amused,
“You drank a whole bottle of something to make you have to go, hmmm?” Max claps back, August can see the visible blush spread across the kids face,
“Hey! I'm sorry to break up…whatever this is but, It's two in the morning, I have 20 freshmen arriving in four hours and I promise not to tell anyone he is here, But can you get the fuck out of my room.” Rowan is already walking to the door, August goes first, purposely making eye contact with Rowan as he leaves his bag of soiled clothes hanging on the bathroom door handle, hoping He just washed them or tossed them.
Max stops when he gets to the door. August can feel his eyes running up and down his body, stopping on his legs.
“What the fuck is wrong with your pants? They look goofy as hell.” Max asks. August’s eyes fall to the group, meeting Grays for just a split second. He is caught. It's obvious. Anyone with half a brain would know why he is wearing Rowan's sweatpants.
“I got lost in the bathroom and he slipped on a puddle in the showers.” Gray says, taking a step forward in front of Max. August mouths ‘thank you’ to him as he passes by. He can only hope he isn't now indebted to owning miniature max any favors.
Waking up dry the next morning, or well, a few hours later is the only nice thing about waking up. He is immediately hit with the sound of chunky liquid splattering into a mental container of some sort. He opens his eyes to see Max, puking into his hydroflask…
“What the hell?” He jumps out of bed, almost forgetting about Gray, just barely missing stepping on him.
“Hnghh-hungover-sorry-” Max can barely get two words out before he is puking into the bottle again. August looks around for something else to hand him but the only trash cans in the room are mesh, not best for holding someone puke. “I’m going to huuuck- shower. Watch him and dont leave this room, get it?” Max gets up, taking the abused water bottle with him. August just hopes he tosses it at that point.
August looks down at Gray, who is still sound asleep. He decides to sit on his bed and scroll on tiktok, hoping Max won't take too long to shower. Thankfully, his prayers are answered when, gray still sound asleep, Max comes through the door, looking less green, way cleaner, with the pleasant smell of sausage and egg following him.
“Here-” He hands August a breakfast sandwich wrapped in a paper towel, all the while gently kicking Gray with his foot.
“Wake up idiot, it's already nine. Eat.” Gray groggily wakes up and takes the sandwich, and the carton of orange juice offered to him, groggily unwrapping the food and taking a sleepy bite.
“Max…” August didn't want to have this conversation, but he can't imagine anytime is a good time to talk about the elephant in the room.
“I know. I don't want to hear it from you. His mom comes back tomorrow. Then i'll send him home…just…help me watch him until then and i'll consider us even, or, i'll even owe you one.” August can almost detect an ounce of empathy and human emotion from Maxes tone so, he agrees, not like he was never gonna have the kid sent back to his drunk dad, who doesn't even feed him properly it seems.
Gray yawns, standing up and stretching his legs, rubbing his eyes to fully wake up, crumpling up the paper towel from his breakfast. “I gotta pee…” He looks up at His brother first then to August, who also has to pee, but has been dreading the idea of going outside the room, where he can hear its already busy with guys returning back for the start of the school year.
“Here, have at it.” August looks at Max with wide eyes as he hands his brother an empty water bottle from his desk. Max must notice August's shocked expression and take it as judgmental.
“Its not like he can fucking go out there! I was just in the shitter and it was crazy. Someone would see. So shut the fuck up and get out, give my little bro some privacy.” Before August can say anything, not that he really knows what to say, he is shoved out the door, his student card being chucked at him before the door is slammed and locked.
August makes his way down the stairs, slower than usual from all the people bringing in boxes and such to the higher floors. He doesn't even bother stopping by the bathroom, hearing a flush every so often he knows it wont work. Instead he resigns his fate and goes straight to Rowan's room, softly knocking.
“For the last time, No! I don't know how to work the air fryer in the lounge- oh! Hi August!” Rowman instantly looks relieved to see him, “finally, someone who doesn't look at me like i’m Cruella Devil. Wanna go shopping?” August motions to their entire floor filled with candles, hair styling tools of all different kinds, and one, large, red microwave in the middle of the small room.
“Uh-” August doesnt know what to say, but steps into the room anyways,
“Confiscated before they even made it to their rooms, funny, freshmen are so easy, if you ask to ‘borrow their straightener’ they hand it right over.” Roman laughed, kicking various straightener cords out of the way to get to his desk.
“I see now why they are afraid of you.” August doesnt sit down, or even move away from the door. He feels bad, suddenly, realizing he came here only to use the restroom, feeling like he is taking advantage of Rowan’s kindness. That still doesn't keep him from eyes up the bathroom door,
“Go piss girl.” Rowan says, seemingly catching on to August lingering glance at the bathroom.
“Sorry.” He ducking into the bathroom and quickly tries to relieve himself. He isn't as desperate as he was yesterday, so it doesn't come easy. He can hear Rowan out there, fiddling with his desk chair, but after some coaxing, he manages and for the first time in days, not even his underwear is wet. He feels embarrassed at how proud he is of that.
Walking out of the bathroom tho, he find Rowan sitting with his hands crossed over his chest,
“Uh oh, am I in trouble, dad?” He makes his way over to the bed, plopping down onto it.
“No…of course not but August. This can't keep happening. I love you, i've adopted you as my closted gay son of the school year but…you can’t only piss in my room…If you wanna talk to someone about getting a medical accommodation, i'll come with you...” August can tell Rowan is trying to make light of the situation, but he already knew he couldn't make a habit out of this…not really.
“Does this campus have cameras?” August asks, depending on Rowan's answer, he might have an easy solution.
“Like on every building, on every exit. None in the dorms though, for privacy laws or something, they can't.” That isn't the answer August wanted to hear.
“Guess pissing on a random tree isn't an option...” August wants to die. He can’t believe he is already in this type of situation, school hasn't even started yet. He cannot and will not become the weird outcast kid who has pee issues. He wants to actually have friends, besides Rowan and his crazy roommate.
“August…” He stands up. He doesn't want Rowan's sympathy, not right now at least. He has embarrassed himself enough in the last twelve hours,
“It's fine, Rowan, I can handle myself but…”
“If it's an emergency please don't hesitate to come here…” August goes to the door. Knowing he will now, always hesitate before coming here. To Rowan. And he can't even be mad. It's annoying to have someone barging in your private space when said person is refusing any help from adults. And it's not like Rowan can say no to a friend with their hands between their legs begging to let them use your bathroom, like last night. August decided then and there, he will come up with a fool proof solution to his problem once and for all…He cant put the stress of his anxiety on another person.
***
Unfortunately for August, the next time he found himself needing to pee was only a few hours later without a single idea of how and where that was going to happen. Luckily though, He had other things to worry about.
“No! I don't want to!” Gray kicked and all but screamed at the top of his lungs.
“Come on, you did it earlier without a problem.” Max looked just about done with his little brother. The two of them have been cooped up in this room for the better part of a day. August went and sat under a tree in the courtyard to clear his head of what happened this morning, only coming back to chaos. At first it was a lack of headphones that didn't hurt Gray's head, causing Max to have to sit and listen to some guy called Dream play minecraft on twitch for four hours. Now, it's a more alarming issue.
“That was when I was tired and didn't realize it was gross!” Gray literally bats the empty water bottle out from Max’s hands, it goes flying onto August’s side of the room, he stares at it, wishing he could grab it and just go inside it, but no, he couldn't…could he?
“I wanna go to the actual bathroom! It's not fair, you left to pee like, six times already!” August eyes widen at the embarrassing admission, Six times is a lot, Max also must know this as his demeanor changes.
“Fine!” he yells, storming over to his desk and slamming his headphones on. “Piss yourself for all I care, it's not like I had to get drunk to save your ass less than twenty-four hours ago.”
The room goes silent besides Max clicking away at his keyboard. If there is one thing August has learned, its Max might as well not exist in the small room when he is gaming. He can't hear anything with his headphones on and does not take well to being interrupted. August goes to roll over, to try and ignore his aching bladder, but he stops when he hears a muffled sniffling. He wants so badly to ignore it. So bad to just focus on his own problem and not some kid he doesn't know, but…he owes him for last night.
“Hey…” August gets out of bed and walks over to the kid, who is standing in the middle of the room, crying, aggressively wiping at his eyes.
“Hi.” He looks up, red rimmed and clearly annoyed at this current predicament.
“Max can be…a little…” August doesnt know what to say, mean? Is that mean? Rude? Not that worse than mean.
“A total dickass?” Gray blurts out. It takes all of August's willpower to not laugh, but he can't say he doesn't agree with the kids' statement. August looks up at at Max then back at Gray,
“Listen. You saw what happened to me last night…it's not fun to…have an accident. I don't think I ever thanked you for not telling your brother.” August whispers to the sobbing kid.
“I knew he wouldn't be cool about it. He has made fun of me before…it's not that he- He just, Ugh. I have to pee, please take me to the restroom.” August feels bad for the kid and he can more than sympathize.
“Would it help if me and your brother left the room?” August tries to think of what would make him most comfortable, and being alone definitely would help.
“Maybe, but…the bottle…its…” August can tell the kids want to say something but he is hesitating, looking back at his brother then back at him.
“Is it a secret? Wanna whisper it so Dickass doesn't hear?” August gets a chuckle out of the kid, who nods. He bends down so his ear is right next to the kid's mouth.
“The bottle didn't work earlier. It got all over my legs and… hands…I didn't tell Max because I was afraid he would make fun of me.” August feels the gears click into place. It makes sense. He definitely didn't have the best of aim when he was in middle school, at that it is embarrassing to admit. August looks around, His eyes lock on his hydro flask, that it is sitting atop a paper towel as if its been washed out and it drying, cap set just to the side.
“I think I can help with that.” August, begrudgingly, walks up to Max’s desk and grabs the bottle, in turn, making Max take off his headphones and give him a disgusted look.
“Hey!…I only washed that fuckin thing with a tide pod in the laundry room sink…it should be like bleached before you drink out of it.”
“Here. It's fine, I was gonna toss it anyway, it has a big opening, see. Come on dic- I mean Max, I need to talk to you in the hallway.” Max looks at his brother then back at August, with a less then please look on his face, but eventually, he gets up and follows August to the hallway.
“What?” Max says the second the door is closed,
“Huh?” August looks at him confused,
“Don't ‘huh’ me? You're the one who wanted to talk to me out here.” August rolls his eyes, he can now add dense to the list of stereotypical stupid bad boy stereotypes this guy lives up to.
“You really don't know why we're out here?” August asks, Max, annoyingly shakes his head and rolls his eyes.
“You were really gonna let your little brother wet his pants?” August can't believe those words are coming out of his mouth, and to his roommates of all people right now, but under these circumstances, he feels like he has to.
“He is a smart kid. He won't piss himself, he isn't a baby!” Max seems offended, August can't begin to fathom why.
“Being smart has nothing to do with when you have to take a piss...If I didn't give him my water bottle, he would have! by the way, thanks for ruining it, not like I didn't have a sentimental attachments to any of those stickers from my home town or anything!””
“Gray is…” Max’s eyes go wide, as if all the moving parts just clicked into place.
“Yeah, news flash, A thirteen year old might have trouble pissing into the opening of an arrowhead water bottle, especially if they are half asleep!”
“Fuck. He crawled back into bed after you left and didn't move for hours…did he…you know,?” Max motions to his pants, August cringes, but knows what he is asking.
“I think so… he didn't give me all the details okay…I shouldn't even be telling you but, he probably shouldn't keep wearing those pants and his underwear.” August knows sitting in even a little bit of piss can be really irritating, it's not comfortable.
“Stay here and lock the door… I gotta call his mom.” Max disappears down the hallway, August, who did a very good job of acting like he wasn't just terrified for his life, immediately throws his hands between his legs, slipping in the door of the room before anyone can see him.
“Hey thanks for th-oh.” August immediately stops wiggling around when he remembers the whole reason he was in the hallway, the kid. The kid who is holding his capped hydro flask, staring at him doing a potty dance for the second time in the day he has known him.
“No worries, just leave it by the door. I'll throw it out later.” August cringes at how forced his voice sounds, not that it's not completely obvious he is having a situation…
“It's not full, I mean- I didn't, you can… I'll hide in your closet.” August can't believe he is even considering it, but he is.
“You can't tell your brother, please, It's- I have, it's a long story.” August says wiggling in place over to snatch up his water bottle.
“Airpod are noise canceling…I know you- I heard you tell that girl about your problems at your old school.”
“Rowan is a boy and-” Gray cuts him off,
“Go potty, it can wait!” August waits for Gray to close the wardrobe doors, immediately uncapping the bottle and shuffling over to the farthest corner of the room. Cringing at being told to ‘go potty’.
“Please, please.” He begs his body to cooperate just this once. He pulls himself out, aligning his dick with the top of the bottle, seeing that it is indeed not too full, less the half it should hold majority of what he is holding, if any would come out. “No, come on. Nobody is here.” August pleads to himself, second later, a small, painful stream starts to exit his body.
His stream starts to pick up momentum. The tinny splashing noise it makes going into the bottle makes him slightly self conscious, but he doesn't care, he doesnt care at all until he hears a knock at the door.
“It's me.” fuck. August thinks to himself, trying to cut off his stream, but now that he is going, like actually, he can’t stop. “Hello? Can you let me in”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck” August doesnt know what to do, Suddently the wardrobe door opens. Gray comes out, with his hands covering his eyes. August tucks himself rather into the corner, trying to just finishing peeing,
“No. I’m mad at you.” Gray shouts back on the other side of the room.
“Gray, Where is August? August let me in!” Max pounds again, August stream has slowed down, not because he is near empty, but because of the voice, people talking. But he cant stop it, it would hurt and he doesn't know when he will have this chance again.
“He has headphones on and is in bed, he can't hear you.” August doesn't want to focus on what the two brothers are saying, but he is and he can't help but agree that Max was right, August is a smart kid.
“Come on, Gray. I’m sorry I got mad, you know what dealing with dad does to me…and alcohol.” Gray takes a step closer to the door,
“Yeah, I know what alcohol does to you. That's why you should have known I wasn't lying when I said I needed to pee.” August wonders what gray means by that, but he doesn't dwell on it, feeling his bladder finally run dry. He caps the bottle, tucking himself back into his pants.
August sets the now full, hydroflask down by the door, bidding it the weirdest farewell, since he is for sure throwing it out the second he has a chance. He taps Gray's shoulder, mouthing the most sincere thank you he can, before jumping in bed, and throwing on his own noise canceling headphones.
“I know you weren't lying and I was a dick, now let me in. I have good news.” August turns away when Gray opens the door, he doesn't have any music playing so he hears Max call him names before he feels his leg being shoves, he turns around and tries to act normal.
“Get up. We have to make this place look…not like this.” Max motions around the room, the various cans and bottles all over the place (on mostly max’s side) and the blankets on the floor.
“Why?” August asks, sliding his headphones off into his lap.
“Gray’s mom is on her way here.” August swallows. He doesn't know why, but he gets the idea that this woman, gray moms, not Max’s mom, as he keeps clarifying, is a scary woman.
“First, I guess ill run this down to the dumpster- Oh holy fuck!” August nor Gray can stop Max before he picks up the hydro flask, the extremely full hydro flask that to his knowledge his little, very little brother filled up.
“Damn little bro, impressive. Are you sure your underpants are dry?” Max teases, Gray laughs making eye contact with August, who's underpants and in fact not dry. But Gray already knows enough of his secrets. August gets to work tidying his side of the room, wondering what chaos his roommate is gonna bring him into next.

|| Also - I am hanging out on that random quote generator thing, where you enter names of people and it generates quotes for you, and I am HOWLING, literally sitting here tears running down my cheeks because most of them just make for such a funny sitcom I can't stop laughing (and Khan khan't either, for the record).
Let me show you a few jewels, hidden under the cut (including Khan, McCoy, Kirk, Spock):
Khan, setting down a card: Ace of spades Leonard, pulling out an Uno card: +4 Jim, pulling out a Pokémon card: Jolteon, I choose you Spock, trembling: What are we playing
Khan: I think Spock was right. Leonard: I'm surprised they haven't marched in here to say 'I told you so.' Jim: They wouldn't do that. Spock: You're right, Jim. For once in your life, you're 100% right. I would never say that. Spock: turns around, the shirt they're wearing says 'Spock Told You So' on the back
Khan: Tonight, one of you will betray us. Leonard: Is it me, Khan? Khan: No, it’s not you. Jim: Is it me, Khan? Khan: It’s not you either. Spock: Is it me, Khan? Khan: Khan, mockingly: Is IT mE Khan?
Khan: Gently taps table Leonard: Taps back Jim: What are they doing? Spock: Morse code. Khan: Aggressively taps table Leonard: Slams hands down YOU TAKE THAT BACK-
Khan: Leonard, I'm sad. Leonard: Holds out arms for a hug It’s going to be okay. Jim: Spock, I'm sad. Spock, nodding: mood.
Khan: Wake me up… Leonard: Before you go go! Jim: When September ends… Spock: WAKE ME UP INSIDE-
Khan: Screams Leonard: Screams louder to establish dominance Jim: Should we do something? Spock: No, I want to see who wins.
[The group is a prison cell that was just hit by an earthquake] Khan: Uh, I'm gonna roll a perception check of… 4, and see if our cell is, uh, in any way damaged by this quake Leonard: You're in a prison cell :) Jim: You did great. Well, I got a 10- Leonard: You're in a prison cell with bars on it :3 Spock: I got a 1! Leonard: You're in… a cube-shaped place.
Khan: You lying, cheating, piece of shit! Leonard: Oh yeah? You’re the idiot who thinks you can get away with everything you do. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD Khan: I’m leaving you, and I’M TAKING JIM WITH ME Spock, picking up the monopoly board: I think we’re gonna stop playing now.

Drifting
loverboy! Chapter 13
masterlist prev
Warnings: violence (fighting) nearing the end, cursing.
Tumblr media
The classroom was nearly empty when you arrived, with only a few girls being in there, and a couple of guys loitering near the windows and doors. You shrink into your desk when the girls approach you, groaning quietly when they surround you.
"Can I help you?" You asked after a moment, were they trying to intimidate you by looming over you?
"We heard you went on a vacation with Langa." One girl says, slamming her hands on your desk. "Why's that?"
You deadpan, "Cause we're friends, why else? There were six other people with us, it wasn't even what you think it was." She rolls her eyes, "Reki was even there, cause we're friends."
"Nobody cares about Reki, y/n." She sneers, the other girls nodding along. "Well, maybe other than you. So desperate for a friend you just had to go for him." She laughs at her own words loudly, obnoxiously.
You stand from your desk abruptly, pushing your chair back into the other desk behind you. "And you're any better? You've never spoken to me before but the minute I become friends with Langa you're riding my ass, why's that?" You ask, tilting your head. When she looks to the side you snap your fingers in front of her face, making her look at you. "It's obvious you're desperate, even more so than me."
She scoffs, struggling to find other words to say. She walks off with a frustrated whine, stomping her foot on the ground. Yeesh.
The door slides open with a snap, Reki excitedly yelling as he walks over to you with wide arms. "Yo! Ah- is something wrong?" He asks, looking at your irritated face.
"It's nothing! Just a pesky bug!" You answer, snorting when you hear a bang on a desk. Langa reaches his hand out for a dap, smiling when you finish it and ruffle his hair.
"You seem to be in a good mood." He says, slapping Reki on the back when he went to hug you. "Did something happen?"
You shake your head, wrapping your arms around Reki's waist. "Nope. Is it really that odd?" He shrugs, going to his seat. "You're awfully touchy lately." He frowns. "It's not a bad thing, it's just different."
He nods slowly, pinching your chin before walking away. "By the way do you want me and Langa to drop by your house tonight?"
You shake your head, "I'm going with Kojiro after work." He nods his head, waving to you as he goes to his seat.
"We're gonna be late!" You shout, pounding your fist on Kojiro's bedroom door. "I didn't know it took so long to get shirtless and put a jacket on." He grumbles under his breath as he opens the door, tugging on his pants.
"What's the rush huh," he huffs, snatching his board from the front door. "Excited to see your boyfriend or something?" Kaoru, who you failed to even notice was standing outside the door, snorts at Kojiro's comment.
You lower your head to the ground, walking ahead of them. "He's not my boyfriend." Honestly, you were getting sick of people assuming that. It was tiring.
They share a look, there's sympathy etched with guilt. The worst combination someone could ever give you.
At the gates of crazy rock you're stopped by the massive group Kojiro liked to call 'the iron defense' or whatever it was.
"Say Y/n," one of them starts, "Are you really friends with snow? How did that happen?"
You look to the side, sweat dropping at the number of stares you received at the mention of your friend. "I was friends with Reki first and then Langa came along, it was sort of a package deal?" You sound unsure, you didn't realize this was something people wanted to know about. "Really, I owe it all to Reki."
The majority of them glance at each other with confused stares, the others only smile and nod along. "Reki's the guy that just follows you guys around right?"
You tilt your head to the side, "What?"
"He just follows you around doesn't he?" The person reiterated, looking at the others for approval. "He's like a sheep or something, he looks to you like a lost puppy, it's hilarious!"
Your arms react before you could properly think, the person looks up at you with an angered expression from the ground.
"Y/n just pushed them." You hear from beside you. "So uncool, what's gotten into them."
"What are you defending that shit skater or something?" The person asks, shoving you back. "What, the guy can't defend himself so he has to get his friends to do it for him? Is that it?"
At the commotion a group circles you, some rooting for the person, some for you, and some just stare, waiting for something— or someone, to snap.
Their fist collided with your cheek in an instant. You look up at them with a blank expression, they seem proud of themselves.
Well, at least now you can use self-defense as an excuse.
The bottle in Reki's hand falls the moment he hears your name uttered under someone's breath with a laugh, "Dude, Y/n and this person are going at it at the entrance. People are starting to bet on who's gonna win."
He looks back towards Langa and the others, deciding to leave them, they're preoccupied anyway. He pushes his legs to run faster than he has, only slowing the slightest bit when he reaches the gates.
"He's my best friend!" He hears amidst the chaos, it's you. "You think I'm just going to let you talk shit about him in front of me? Are you a fucking dumbass?"
He rushes between the ring of people to reach you, pulling your body off the person you'd fought. He hushes you when you begin to thrash in his arms, "It's me, y/n." He whispers into your ear, pulling you away from the crowd. "Let's go home, okay?"
"But Reki—"
He shakes his head, grabbing your deck from the ground. "They're not worth your time, it's okay."
The walk home is silent, Reki refused to let go of your hand. To you, it seemed like he needed it more than you. Like he needed the reassurance that you were there.
He pulls you to the side when you get to a street lamp, leaning against the pole, and wraps his arms around you. "I don't think I want to go to S anymore."
You pull away at his words, tilting your head at him. "Why not?" You ask, raising your hands to his cheeks.
"I'm just tired."
He leaves it at that, letting go and taking your hand again. There's a tense air surrounding you, your eye throbs from the fight before, and his hand feels cold around yours.
Your porch light flickers above you, you'd have to change it soon, Reki stands awkwardly under it as you step through the door, you're expecting him to say something.
"I'll see you tomorrow at school."
You watch his figure walk back down the street, a frown on your lips as you recall his words from before.
Why would Reki want to quit? He loves skating, doesn't he?

Today was a pretty good day. Me and James got to spend a good amount of time together but I also ended up in a weird waiting mode. But it was not a bad day at all.
James's alarm went off at 6 and of course they were on the bathroom so I was trying to find the phone lost in the bed and it was a whole moment. But we found it and I went back to sleep.
I had asked to be woken up at 830. But then I was like. No. And didn't wake up until after 9.
I felt pretty good when I got up though. I went to get dressed and James made the bed. I felt cozy and good honestly. My head was itchy and I would wash my hair tonight. But I was in a good mood.
James made me half a bagel. And we chilled for a little while. But soon we were going out on our little drive.
We went to Towson to go look at the Valentine's day stuff. But it was mostly. Gnomes?? I do not like gnomes. I think they are ugly and I don't understand why they are like the mascot for every holiday now. We even saw kwanza gnomes?? It was very bizarre. I did see a few things I liked but nothing I loved.
I msitly just had fun walking around with James and looking at stuff.
We did TJ Maxx, then Burlington (whose lighting was weird and hurt my eyes) and then bed bath and beyond. Which didn't have valentines stuff but did have Easter?? Super weird. I did have fun looking though.
We walked to the other side of the shopping center to go to Marshalls. And they mostly had gnomes. Lots of leftover Christmas stuff. I found a lotion that made me think of a frog eye pillow my mom had when I was a kid. And maybe James got me a Valentine's present that I have chosen to put out of my mind until then.
We moved the car and went to the Red Robin for lunch. It was pretty empty when we got there. And our food was very good. I had half of my burger because my stomach started hitting again. I hate how often that has been happening lately. But I tried my best to be okay. So I wrapped up my sandwich to bring home. I would have the other half for dinner.
I brought the fortune telling cards James got me for Christmas and we read the rules and did our fortune. The man and woman cards represent you when you hand out the deck and weirdly they showed up right next to each other. Spooky!!
The restaurant had a line out the door by the time we were leaving. That's happened a lot lately too. Coming to place at the right time I guess.
We went to the craft store next so I could try to get a dowel rod for an idea I had. They only had short ones in a bag. So I got it and a piece of wood to make a base for a ring stand I had an idea about. It wouldn't work that way I had pictured but it was fun to try.
James was getting worn out. And so we went home. I talked to Charlie for a bit about hanging out but the day got away from him. Maybe tomorrow. But because I wasn't sure what was happening I got stuck in waiting mode.
I tried to fight it. I cut the dowel rods and screwed everything together. But it did not work the way I pictured. So back to the drawing board with that one. At least it was fun.
And I poked around the apartment. James got ready to bike in the living room. And I lit a candle. We realized that the candle was one of those surprise ring ones. And it was red wax and we made a huge mess trying to get it out. I even thought the ring had a red stone but it turned out it was blue??? Just covered in wax and stained. It's a nice little ring though so that was a fun surprise.
I spent a lot of time in bed. Watching tiktoks. Just resting. I had some cereal. I had astronaut ice cream. I'm gonna be so sad when that's all gone cause I love it. I told Charlie we could just go get dinner tomorrow. I hope he follows through because he's leaving this weekend and I'm sad about that!! I mean I think it will actually make us closer. Like it did for me and Jess. But only time will tell.
James went for a walk. And while they were gone I just chilled.
When they got home they had dinner. And I took a shower. Washed my hair really good. And hung out with James in the kitchen while my hair dried a little and they made got chocolate.
Drying my hair continued to be annoying but I'm getting way better at it. Faster. My arms still hurt but I seem to have a better system where I can keep my arms low.
And nowe and James are in bed. They are asleep holding the Squirtle I got them. And I am a little to awake. Sweetp is being so stinking cute. I might have a little snack to try to sleep easier. But we will see.
I work at the museum tomorrow. Just for tours but who knows if anyone will want them. I have sewing stuff I can work on. I just hope it's a nice day.
Take care of each other out there. Be safe. Be kind. Goodnight!!

Making Biscuits
Tumblr media
AN: So this was a little silly thought by @duchessoftheheart, which I, with her permission, ran with. It's also my first solo Bucky x Reader fic.
Not beta'd, Mood board by me, dividers by @firefly-graphics
Check out my master list here
Pairing: Reader x Bucky; Alpine the Cat x Bucky
Word count: approx 750
CW: Fluff, mentions of smut, Alpine (she's a warning)
Tumblr media
You didn’t know how long you’d been sitting reading your book before you realised the rest of the apartment was quiet.
Too quiet, you thought, considering you lived with both Bucky and the world's most diva cat.
Your boyfriend had wandered off to the bedroom earlier, still worn out from the mission he and Sam had come back from only yesterday afternoon. Really he should have gone to bed early last night, but he hadn’t been able to keep his hands off you after the six day absence, and yes, whilst you’d managed to get him into the bed, no sleeping had taken place for quite a while.
You hoped he was catching up now, although if he was, you’d have to wake him soon otherwise he wouldn’t sleep properly tonight. Sometimes he was just like a toddler and this nap was definitely creeping into ‘danger’ territory.
As you walked into the kitchen to make yourself a drink, before waking your sleeping beauty, you heard a plaintive cry from the bedroom.
“Baaaaabe! Little help?”
Leaving your drink on the sideboard you followed the sound of his voice, stopping in the doorway of your room and smothering a burst of laughter with your hands.
Bucky was laying, face down on the bed, topless and with only a pair of soft grey sweat shorts covering his pert cheeks. And there, on that perfect ass, sat your cat, Alpine, all her usual queenly demeanour forgotten, as she purred and kneaded at Bucky with her fluffy paws.
Lowering your hands, you pulled your phone out of your pocket and started to record, walking around the bed to get a better view.
“Baby, no! Don’t film this. Just get her off. It tickles.”
You chuckled at his pathetic whine. It wasn’t like he couldn’t move himself to get the cat to leave him alone, he just didn’t want his furry princess to think he was the bad cat parent.
As you rounded towards Alpines head, your laugh became more audible as you noticed that the cat was so lost in making biscuits that she was drooling whilst she purred and kneaded.
“Aaaww, Bucky, she’s so happy. I’m sure you can put up with it for a bit longer.”
You zoomed in to get a clear shot of the feline’s bliss-filled expression.
“You’re going to send this video to Sam, aren’t you?”
“Yup!” You couldn’t contain your glee, Samuel was going to lap this up.
Then, just when you thought the situation couldn’t get anymore amusing, Alpine dipped her head and started to suck at the soft cotton material.
“Eeeww, no! It’s all damp! Please babe, please!”
You dropped to the floor next to the bed, full belly laughs enveloping you, tears rolling down your cheeks.
“God, this is too fucking funny! Now you know what it’s like to wander around with damp clothes on you.”
Your boyfriend huffed, shifting gently and turning his head away from you.
“Fine, if you don’t want to help me, I'm gonna go back to sleep. Don’t blame me when I’m keeping you up all night, babe, cos I can’t sleep and I’m bored.”
As tempting as his offer threat was, you finally stood up and put your phone down so you could lift Alpine off him. She swished her tail and gave you an indignant look, before walking off in a huff, probably to go curl up on the clean laundry and cover it in white fur.
“There you go, my damsel in distress, I’ve saved you from the fearsome beast.”
Bucky flipped over onto his back, looking up at you and smiling, a hand held to his brow in a mockery of swooning.
“My hero,” he said, before pulling you down on top of him. His arms wrapped around your waist, holding you tight to him.
“I’m feeling more refreshed after my nap. Full of energy…” He raised an eyebrow and ground you against his pelvis. “If you don’t help wear me out, I won’t sleep later.”
You dipped down and pressed your lips to his.
“Good job I’ve got a fool-proof method of doing that then.” However, you sat up abruptly, pulling yourself out of his arms, and picked up your phone.
“But first I got a couple of messages to send..”
You squealed as Bucky grabbed you, pinning you to the bed under him, taking your phone off you and carefully tossing it to the other side of the room.
“I’m more important…and you’re not sending that to Sam!”
“If you say so babe, if you say so…”

roommate ch 2
Tumblr media
Denki x female reader
cw: none honestly
lil cliche, aged up
heres part 1
roommate masterlist
come to my asks to be a part of my taglist! just let me know what kinds of fics/ what fandom/ what characters/ etc you want to be tagged in! Requests are open!!
------------------------------
(Y/N POV)
Denki and I have officially become best friends- we even send stupid memes and videos to each other at all hours. Time zones are weird but the way he keeps me up at night makes me think I'll be fine.
"I cant believe you wouldn't let me hide in a suitcase and join," Kendra folded her arms trying to joke to lighten the mood.
"You'd be the worst carry-on ever," I laughed.
"I would bring snacks and wouldn't bother anyone," She laughed back.
"I'm gonna miss you so much, Kenny," I hugged her, fighting tears.
"I'm gonna miss you, too, stupid. We have to work out a facetime schedule," we pulled away but she held my hands. "And if Denki ends up flirting with you in person too, you have to tell me!"
"Oh shut up!" I dropped her hands, fixing my hair, attempting to distract from my blush. "I cant have a crush on my ROOMMATE."
"Too bad you already do then," she folds her arms.
The overhead speaker announces that its last call for boarding my flight, and we both started crying.
"I love you so much, call me when you land," Kendra says, squeezing me again.
"I will, I love you so much don't be stupid without me," I squeezed back.
We disconnected and I waved one last time before giving the attendant my ticket.
-post flight-
I got my luggage and made my way to the correct gate to meet Denki at. The nervousness settled in my stomach and I wanted to hurl.
What if he hates me? What if this was a joke? A prank? What if he doesn't show? What if I'm stranded here? I don't have money for a ticket back. God, what would I do if-
My thoughts were interrupted.
"Y/n?!"
I turned around and met eyes with Denki.
Its not fake. Oh my god. This is happening. Should I be more or less anxious-
"Hi!" He yelled, taking my luggage from me, setting it next to us, and hugging me.
"Its so fucking nice to see you in person!" He said with happiness lacing his words.
"You too! Youre real! Thank god!" I laughed, pulling away.
"My thoughts exactly," he laughed. "Lets go get ya settled in!" He took some of my bags towards the exit and I joined.
"Once youre settled we can tour the town, oh! You can meet Sero and Kirishima and- OH MY GOSH you HAVE to try this ice cream shop in- I'm talking too much aren't I?" He stopped himself. But before I could assure him he wasn't, he started again, making me giggle.
"We gotta take an Uber, that's ok, right?"
"Yeah of course!"
--post uber ride--
"Here we are, our humble abode!" Denki exclaimed, standing in front of the building with his arms spread open, making me laugh.
Once we got all my stuff in my new room, I decided to lay on the floor in the middle of the bed-less space, to which Denki laughed and joined me.
"Denki?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't have a bed."
"Oh fuck you aren't wrong."
"I can get one tomorrow and sleep on the couch tonight."
"HA! Funny. We at least need an air mattress. For me of course," he turned on his side, facing me. "You-" he poked my nose lightly, making me go cross eyed "- can sleep in my bed."
"No nononono I am NOT taking your bed, Denki!" I exclaimed, turning to him.
"Yes you are! Once you lay on it one time, you gonna realize its the comfiest bed ever and you'll wanna be in it all the time. Now- I need an air mattress."
I would be lying if I said that him talking about me in his bed didn’t make my heart flutter. But that doesn’t stop me from arguing.
"NO!"
"YES"
"NO"
"Y E S"
"What are you doing?"
"Calling Kirishima, he lives a few floors up, he has an air mattress."
"Oh, for me, how kind!" I hopped up to get pajamas out of a suitcase.
"Hey Kiri! Yeah can I snag ya air bed for tonight? Yeah we forgot about her not having a bed. Yeah I'm sleeping on it-"
"NO HE ISNT!" I yelled in the general direction of the phone.
"Yes I AM. Ok ill be up soon. Thankssss." He hung up, a smug grin on his face.
"Asshole."
"Uzai would be a better way to put it here, babes.” He smirked.
"Whatever, I'm changing," I said, walking towards my bedroom door, smiling.
"Don't change I like you just the way you are!" Kaminari yelled as I walked into the bathroom, knowing I just meant changing my clothes.
"Ill be a whole new person when I'm done in here!" I yelled back, shutting the door and laughing.
(Denki POV)
I laughed at her last comment, really happy with picking her to move in with me.
I stand up and glance around at all the baggage. I could help her and unpack a few things, but I don't want to be nosy or invade her privacy.
There was one suitcase open, though.
Must be the one she got pajamas out of.
A glance wouldn't hurt.
I looked back to the door and heard the sink running, indicating shes washing her face, most likely.
I walk over to it and kneel on the floor to get a better look. JUST looking at the surface. Swear it.
Ok that was a lie.
But theres something shiny!
I lift up the shiny object and see that its a charm bracelet.
One charm is the first letter of her name. Then a heart. Then a tennis ball. Then a rose. Then a rabbit. Then a book. Then a Fruits Basket charm. Then a camera. Huh. Must be things she hold close to her.
Putting the bracelet back, I almost turn away from the suitcase, but see a card.
Its pink with hearts on it.
"Y/n! We're gonna miss you loads! Call often, stay safe, and never forget where you came from. Stay bright and charm everyone. Youll do amazing."
Then there was children's scribbling, calling her auntie, and saying miss u.
It was signed by so many people. She really is loved, huh.
I scored big time on such a good friend.
A smile on my face, I heard the sink shut off, and put the card back, scrambling back to my spot on the floor, getting on my phone totally relaxed and natural and not looking panicked AT ALL.
Ok I looked suspicious but she didn't say anything when she walked in.
"I'm a changed woman."
"As long as you're still funny, I can deal."
"What if I became a serial killer?"
"Are you still funny?"
"Well yes."
"Fine by me!"
We both laughed and I notice how adorable she looked in a big t-shirt and pajama shorts. Picturing how she would look in my t-shirt, I wanna scoop her up and take her-
"I'm starving!" she interrupted my thoughts, nudging my arm.
"Want to order pizza?"
"Hell yes!"
I'm never gonna get over her accent.
------------------------------------------------
should i continue this? ahhhh i totally could but only if yall like it

To The Vows You Take - Chapter 6
Tumblr media
(This is the longest chapter in the whole story, enjoy!)
Chapter 5
"About time you got here," Ray snarked when (YN) and Frank finally boarded the bus in Washington. "Why'd you guys have to change your flight?"
“We had to go to Vegas,” (YN) replied simply as she started unpacking some of her things into her bunk. She was trying to suppress the smile that was fighting to form on her face.
“What? To get married or something?” Gerard laughed.
“Yea,” Frank replied with a shrug.
(YN) glanced over at Ray and Gerard, who were stunned into silence for a moment. They looked at each other, then back at their bandmates.
“You guys were dating?!” Gerard asked, totally astonished. "How did we not notice?! Why didn’t you say anything?!"
“I knew something was going on!” Ray exclaimed. "They've been acting different all year! I knew it!"
“Nope, we weren't dating,” (YN) answered.
Gerard’s eyes went wide. “(YN), are you, you're not pre-”
“No! Oh my god, no!” She rolled her eyes. “Me and Frank agreed in high school that if we weren’t married by 25, we’d marry each other.”
“Well shit, congratulations! We gotta celebrate, right?” Ray asked, getting excited.
“Hell yea!” Frank chimed in. “You guys buy the champagne!”
“Do you wanna announce it at the show tonight?” Gerard asked.
“No!” (YN) was quick to reply. “It’s just that we haven’t told our families yet. We don't wanna have them find out through the press.”
Gerard nodded. "Ok, but wow, I still can’t believe you guys eloped!"
"Believe it, baby," Frank said, patting Gerard on the cheek as he walked by.
~
“Ok, ready to call your mom?” Frank asked.
“No,” (YN) deadpanned.
“Better now than waiting any later,” he replied. It had been about a week since they had tied the knot and (YN) had been putting off calling her mom as long as possible. It wasn’t that she was ashamed of what they’d done, she just knew how her mom would react.
Frank pushed the call button on the phone in front of them and (YN) hoped it would just go to voicemail.
“Hello?” (YN)’s mom’s voice came through the speaker of the phone.
“Hey mom,” (YN) started wearily.
“Hi sweetie, what’s going on? I’m at the grocery store.”
(YN) winced and Frank had to stifle a giggle. “Umm, by any chance do you remember back when I was home for Christmas and that letter came that I wrote to myself?”
“Yes, vaguely.”
“Do you remember the one thing I said I hadn’t done?”
“No, off the top of my head I can’t say that I do.”
“Umm, well I’ve got you on speaker phone because Frank is here too and I called to tell you we went through with our pact to get married.”
“I’m sorry, I don’t think I heard you, it’s loud in here, you did what?”
“Me and Frank got married in Vegas,” (YN) practically shouted. Frank was hiding his face to control his laughter and (YN) reached over and smacked his arm.
“What?!” In the background it sounded like glass breaking. “And you didn’t even call to tell me?!”
“I mean, I told you when I read the letter,” (YN) rubbed her eyes.
“Not that you were gonna go through with marrying Frankie! Oh, is Frankie there now?”
“Yea, hi Ms. (YLN),” he replied.
“Hi sweetie! Congratulations and welcome to the family!”
(YN) looked at Frank, jaw dropped, as he practically gloated. “Thank you Ms. (YLN).”
“(YN) I can’t believe you wouldn’t tell me until after the fact!”
“We didn’t tell anyone, not even the other guys!” (YN) argued. "It's not eloping if everyone knows!"
“Well, have you told Frankie’s parents yet?”
“No, you’re our first call” (YN) replied, rolling her eyes.
“Ok good. Oh, goodness I didn’t even notice I dropped the jar of pickles, I’ve got to go, I want more details later, buh-bye.”
“Bye,” (YN) said, hanging up. "Yea it's a good thing we didn't tell her we called your mom first, she woulda lost it. Are you gonna call your dad?"
"Yea," he replied, already pulling up the contact info on his phone.
"K, I'm gonna go grab some coffee," she said, getting up.
"How'd your mom react?" Gerard asked, looking up when (YN) walked in.
"She dropped a jar of pickles in the middle of the grocery store," (YN) sighed as she poured a mug of coffee.
Gerard chuckled. "Are you done?"
"No, Frank's calling his dad right now."
"That will go well," Gerard nodded reassuringly.
"Yea, I think you’re right," she nodded as she made her way to the back of the bus where they'd been making the calls in privacy.
"So you finally told her-"
"Dad, hang on," Frank interrupted and (YN) gave Frank a confused look as she walked in. "Umm, no, but don't worry about it. Actually (YN) just walked in."
"Hi, Mr Iero," she greeted him brightly.
"I'm glad you're sticking together. Ever since you were kids, you two have been a team. That's what you want in life,  someone who is on your team. Friendship should come first, all that romance bullshit can come later on."
(YN) and Frank laughed, but when she glanced over at him, she saw he was looking at her. She smiled and looked away, realizing how much she was suddenly blushing. That was the problem. She could no longer deny the fact that she wanted the romantic bullshit with Frank. Her stomach did flips when he would look at her from across the room, his smile made her weak in the knees. She’d fallen for him completely, and she didn’t know what to do.

Frank had just taken a drag off his cigarette when a black SUV pulled up in the parking lot where their tour bus was parked. At long last, Mikey was back. He hopped up off the curb he was sitting on and warmly welcomed his friend with a hug. "Welcome back, man!"
"Hey! And congrats! I take a couple months off and half the band gets married?" Mikey laughed as he stored one of his bags in the compartment under the bus.
"That’s what happens when you’re not here to supervise us,” Frank laughed. “Did you know me and (YN) had originally planned to elope the day you and Alicia got married?"
"Seriously?" Mikey seemed genuinely shocked as they returned to the spot on the curb where Frank had been sitting. It was the only shade in sight.
"Yep."
“Where is she, by the way?”
“On the phone with our realtor, we’re gonna see some houses when we’re back in Jersey before we head over to Europe.”
“Damn, you are serious about this.”
“As serious as a goddamn heart attack.”
“Wait, so how did all this happen again?”
“We made this pact in high school, we’d get married if we were still single at 25. And the chance to spend my life with (YN)? I’m not gonna pass that up.”
“You have feelings for her?”
“I’m surprised I’ve hid them this well for so long.”
“Shit,” Mikey muttered, taking the almost spent cigarette out of Frank’s hands and taking a drag himself. “So it’s happily ever after.”
“Not until I work up the nerve to tell her.”
Mikey coughed, Frank’s words taking him by surprise. “Wait, you haven’t told her?!”
Frank let his head hang. “Oh so you've been married like three months longer than me, and now you know it all? Just keep it between us ok?”
“Yea, yea I can, but you should tell her. She’s your wife.”
Frank couldn’t help the smile that formed across his face upon hearing those words. “Yea. I just gotta figure out the right time.”

(YN) had just finished applying her stage makeup when the door to the green room opened. She was surprised that it was only Mikey coming in, and no one else was with him.
“Hey,” she said, glancing over at him. “Where’s everyone else?”
“Got pulled into an interview,” he answered, coming to stand behind her, checking his hair in the mirror.
“Ah yes, the joys of not being a guitarist or singer,” she smirked.
“I know right?” He laughed before flopping down on the couch. “So congrats.”
“Thanks,” she laughed lightly, shaking her head. “It’s crazy, right?”
“Why?”
"Because I saw 'My Best Friend's Wedding' at an impressionable age, and now I’m married to my bandmate.”
"What's wrong with that?"
(YN) sighed and shook her head. “Promise not to tell?”
Mikey sat up and nodded. “Of course.”
"It’s a problem because I realized that I've fallen in love with Frank and can't tell him because it'll ruin our marriage,” she explained and Mikey let out a laugh. “It’s absurd right?”
"You gotta tell him, (YN)."
(YN) just groaned in response. “But what if it fucks everything up?”
Mikey sighed. "You should be honest with the people you love," he replied. "Especially when it's about how you feel."
(YN) nodded silently.
“So... have you guys hooked up.”
“Mikey!"
"I’m just trying to lighten the mood!” He said defensively. “And I take your reaction as a yes."
(YN) smirked. "Fine, you wanna know? There was one time we did a long time ago."
“Wait, when?!”
“You probably don’t remember, but a long long time ago, I’m talking back in the van days, we were actually staying in a hotel for once. You, Gee, Ray, and Brian all went out, but me and Frank stayed back.”
“Oh yea! We were wondering if something happened that night,” Mikey laughed.
“Yep,” she said, getting up from her chair and starting to make her way toward the door. “And it was in the bed you and Ray shared that night! Bye!”
“Ew! What the fuck (YN)?!” Mikey shouted, as she ran out of the room, laughing evilly.
