Hi, I'd be interested in some fanfictions that center around Nino (all ships welcome, bonus points if it's the core four hanging out).

Most fics that have him tagged don't focus on him. If you have any recs lmk, feel free to take as long as you need! Have a nice day

I'm on it! So long as you're fine with ships that also revolve around couples anyway, otherwise this would be rather sparse. I'm gonna go ahead and limit it to completed fics. Oh, and if you wonder why some of these have commentary and some don't, it's because the ones with commentary are from previous reclists I made.

(Edit: I'd said that I'd only include complete fics, but I accidentally included Withered Wings anyway, because I kinda forgot that. It's pretty close to finished at any rate, and it's good and long so I'm keeping it.)

Within Your Heart by Inkyibis

It’s Valentine’s Day and Ladybug just wants to her superhero partner to find his love. And what she wants, the Lucky Charm will create. If only she could remember what it is she did last night.

Adrino fic here! Marinette’s drunk and feeling awful that her superhero partner is alone on Valentine’s (she’s in a loving and committed relationship with Alya), so she creates a Lucky Charm to help Chat find love! In this universe, Ladybug’s Lucky Charms have the power to create new rules for the universe to follow, such as making one that demands that if you have any magic in you, you have to tell the truth or else you’ll freeze. Or in Adrien’s case, that he has to wake up in the arms of his true love every day XD. It’s very sweet and I love both Adrien’s and Nino’s relationship, and the relationship between the rest of the Miracuteam members as well, even though that’s not the focus.

I’ll give myself a name (something stupid and pretentious) by @bbutterflies

Nino looked at the number and didn’t recognize it. Usually he wouldn’t answer, but he had nothing better to do – and could still really use a distraction – so he did. “Hello?”

“Hey, Nino.”

Nino stood up quickly, chest tightening. He knew that voice. He’d been waiting to hear it again for over two years. “Adrien?” he whispered.

“Yeah. It’s me."

When Monarch is defeated (and revealed to be Gabriel Agreste), Chat Noir immediately goes missing. Adrien disappears not long after. When Adrien finally shows up in Paris again, Nino would do anything to make sure he doesn't disappear again.

Ah this is lovely, Adrien’s been in a lot of emotional turmoil since Monarch’s defeat, convinced that everyone would hate him, SHOULD hate him, for not realizing that his father was the villain, and should hate him even more for disappearing like he does. But slowly Marinette and Nino get through to him, convince him that they just want him back.

And also Adrien and Nino smooch. Multiple times. So that’s a bonus XD.

Nino breaks off, tears streaking down his face. Adrien wishes he was here as himself instead of Chat so he could offer a hug.

“It’s not like I don’t think she deserved her privacy. It’s just it felt like I was her last priority. And if I knew why, then maybe we could overcome it. But when I don’t, I’m not willing to be her last thought. You know? I always put her first.”

“Yeah,” Chat agrees, able to relate too well. He always put Ladybug first too, and he’s not sure it has ever been the same for her. “I’m sorry you’ve been so alone through this."

“I haven’t been totally alone,” Nino disagrees, holding up his phone. “My best friend has been keeping me company virtually most of the day.”

“Yeah? It helped?”

“I don’t know if any of the stuff he sent helped, but like, given what I know he’s up to, he totally had to move heaven and earth to talk to me so much, and that really helped. You know, just knowing that someone was thinking of me.”

“I’m glad,” Chat Noir said. “I wish he could be there in person for you.”

Nino sighs. “Yeah, me too, but at least you’re here."

Ahh, Adrino my beloved XD. I love the identity shenanigans in this one with Adrien being around Nino as both Adrien and Chat Noir, and both of them vaguely describing their situations to each other. It takes Adrien a bit to figure out that he has a crush on Nino, but once he does...

“He’s dating me,” Nino said, taking Adrien’s hand in his own.

Adrien could only stare back at him in shock.

“How dare you all force him to come out?” Nino continued, glaring at the reporters. “That was disgusting.” He pulled Adrien over to the car, guided him in, and shut the door behind them.

In the relative quiet and privacy of the backseat, Adrien finally processed what had just happened. “So… when were you going to tell me we were dating?”

This Adrino fic is delicious XD. Reporters keep hounding Adrien about his love life, so Nino finally gets them off Adrien’s back by fake-dating him. Problem is, Adrien’s actually been madly in love with Nino for years but has never been able to tell him. And now as they’re spending more time together, Nino’s beginning to find that he’s enjoying all these “couple” activities more than maybe he ought to if it’s entirely platonic...

If you want to see Adrien and Nino PINING for each other while “fake” dating (is it really fake if both parties want it to be real?) then you’ve come to the right fic!

Chemistry With Him by @bbutterflies

It kind of sucked Nino was taking chemistry, but classes had filled up fast and he needed to take something and his advisor had said the credits would, somehow, count towards his major. It really sucked he was taking it first thing on a Monday morning (and Wednesdays, and Fridays, unfortunately). But he could get through it. He knew he could.

So no more boys. No distractions. He could do this all on his own.

“Is anyone sitting here?”

Nino looked up to find the source of the voice. A blond, green-eyed, absolutely beautiful someone.

Okay. Maybe one distraction.

Ah, adorable Adrino. This is a universe where Adrien never went to public school, so while Chat Noir, Ladybug, Carapace, and Rena Rouge all know each other (and Marinette, Alya, and Nino all know each other’s identities) they’re unaware that they are all already friends with Adrien. I loved seeing Chat and Carapace excitedly tell each other about their awesome crush/boyfriend, not knowing they were talking about each other XD.

Strangely Familiar by @sunfoxfic

Alya Césaire’s life is perfect. Indeed, between the success of the Ladyblog, how well she’s doing in school, and the fact that she’s a superhero who has never bore the weight of a crisis of epic proportions, her life almost couldn’t be better. Almost.

But Alya has always been a go-getter, and so she’ll chase after that perfect life if it kills her. Which is how she ends up rushing to move out of her father’s apartment and in with Marinette, Adrien, and a complete stranger: Nino Lahiffe. And in fact, her life does seem perfect — she and Nino are fast friends. They spend a lot of time together and get to know each other really well.

But in the end, fortunate situations will bear unfortunate truths, and she learns things about herself that aren’t quite comfortable. Like I said, though: Alya has always been a go-getter, and she won’t let new feelings deter her from chasing after her perfect life.

This is the single longest DJWifi-centric fic on AO3 (which is a travesty) and it is GLORIOUS. Alya and Nino are both well fleshed-out here, with their own problems and baggage they’re dealing with, but it’s easier together.

When Ladybug wakes Nino up in the middle of the night to scold him for revealing his identity, he thinks his career as a Miraculous holder is over. But instead, Ladybug gives him the opportunity to prove himself by becoming Chat Noir’s confidant and learning his secret identity through a scavenger hunt of sorts. Will Nino pass Ladybug and Chat Noir’s test, or will he fail to put the pieces together in time?

Quick disclaimer here: the first chapter looks kinda salty towards Nino, with Ladybug laying into him for revealing his and Alya’s secret identities to Adrien and Marinette. She’s mostly just trying to scare him into taking them seriously, though, since she herself has just proposed that Nino become Chat’s secret-keeper, and he can’t afford to be lackadaisical with that identity. I highly recommend getting through at least chapter 2 of the fic when giving it a shot, because this had some great character development and introspection for Nino, on Chat Noir, Adrien, Ladybug, and himself.

Nino was sprawled on the floor of his room with Alya when his phone chimed, in the quiet of a premature autumnal sunset. It was one of those lazy evenings that had become rare lately. Contrary to popular belief, he and Alya could get studying done when in the same room, and he was elbows-deep in late assignments, which meant his phone was on Do Not Disturb, which meant the notification could only have come from one person.

So this is a “Adrien finds out that his father is Hawkmoth and consults with Nino about what to do” fic, with Nino throwing Hawkmoth off Adrien’s track, though inadvertently at his own expense. Love Nino’s perspective here, and I always enjoy a good Hawkmoth-takedown fic!

Adrien turned his grin towards his best friend. “Yeah,” he agreed. Nino grinned back. “I haven’t seen you in this good of a mood in months. Were you hanging with your mystery lady?” The question caught Adrien completely off guard. Was Nino seriously comparing his feelings for Carapace with his feelings for Ladybug? Sure, Carapace had become one of his favorite people. Adrien currently coveted every moment spent in Carapace’s company. He walked away from talking to him for hours feeling like he was floating on a cloud. And he was anticipating their next patrol like a giddy child waiting for Christmas morning. Holy shit! “You okay, dude?” Nino asked. He totally had feelings for Carapace. When had that even happened?

Hi hi!! Thanks so much for the freaking asks! I did all of them :3. They were just so good!! I had so much fu writing them! I just...I love Klapollo! So I'm really glad I get to write them more :3

They all kinda just ended up as Klavier being smitten with Apollo. Hope that's okay XD. He do be pining!!

"The rockstar and the the law attorney, now that's a novel I'd loved to read." 295 words

“A rockstar and a defense attorney? That is totally a novel that I’d love to read.” Ema had said it sarcastically, Klavier knew. He knew that writing a novel was ridiculous, writing a novel, especially basing it off of his experiences with Apollo. But he just couldn’t help it, something about Apollo inspired him. Something about him that made Klavier want to be the best he could be at everything he tried. His management team were the first people that mentioned him writing a book, actually. Klavier ignored them at first, he didn’t want to make a piece of art that was just a cash grab, no matter how much his team tried to convince him otherwise. Though, at some point, Klavier had become…inspired. Fiction writing was very much different from songwriting, but Klavier found that he liked it. He liked the creative process in general, and though there was difficulty translating his songwriting skills into fiction writing, plus his perfectionist tendencies making it harder, he still quite liked it. One day, Apollo and Klavier were out at a café. Apollo was talking about novels, and how interesting they were, and that he really should have read more. Klavier wasn’t sure when, but at some point, the words came tumbling out of his mouth before he could stop them. “I’m writing a novel, actually.” Klavier had blurted out. Apollo seemed surprised at first, then that surprise turned into intrigue. “Oh, really? That’s cool! What’s it about?” “A rockstar and a defense attorney solving the murder of the rockstar’s band’s guitarist.” Klavier replied. “Oh! A rockstar and a defense attorney? I’d love to read about that, actually. That must be a pretty interesting duo.” Apollo said. “Ja. They are, Herr Forehead.” Klavier smiled. “They are.”

Klavier really missed songwriting. He missed the creative process of it all, writing away his thoughts as they poured out from his mind, looking at his work days later with a fresh new perspective and then ironing out the kinks that he found. And lately, he had found some inspiration It started with Apollo saying something that sounded like it’d be a good song lyric, to which Klavier immediately jotted down on his phone to remember to integrate it into one of his songs. The next thing he knew, hours later after the investigation had ended, Klavier was writing away at his notebook. He stared at the lyrics that he had just written, frowning in thought. What to write next… At the sound of a notification on Klavier’s phone, he picked it up. Opening his phone, he smiled at the photo of him and Apollo on his lock screen. Apollo was deep in thought, his index finger pressed at the bridge of his nose. Klavier liked that little habit of his, he thought it was one of the most adorable things he had ever seen in his life. He clicked on the notification, an unamused annoyed text from Ema telling him about some investigation details. Klavier quickly responded, before turning back to his notebook. At the possibilities that it held, at the blank canvas that would be his artform. He would probably make a few mistakes, even with years of experience he still made mistakes. Not only that, but this was a solo song, and he wasn’t used to writing solo songs. Though, that didn’t matter. Klavier knew that with his inspiration, he’d make it just fine. It may have been new and a little terrifying, but in Klavier’s opinion, it was the best music that he had ever made.

Apollo did not think he was remarkable. Klavier wasn’t sure what the hell made Apollo come to that conclusion, he really wasn’t. Apollo was one of the most inspiring people in Klavier’s life, his search for the truth one of the most remarkable things about him. He had a talent, able to spot lies with just a person’s body language. He was perceptive, noticing the tiniest of details instantly, before the detectives even registered that they were there. He was detail oriented, putting together all the information of their cases in an interesting and coherent way. So many things that Klavier could go on and on about, so many things he admired about the man. And yet, he seemed to disagree. Which was frankly, ridiculous. “God, I wish I actually knew how to do stuff…” Apollo was lamenting to Klavier. “What do you mean by that, Herr Forehead?” “Well, I sorta uh…don’t have any hobbies? Like sure, I do sports and outdoor stuff, but that’s not as cool as all of your guys’ hobbies.” Apollo sighed. “Mr. Wright can do piano and poker, even if he’s terrible at piano. Ema’s got her whole science thing, Trucy does magic tricks, and you’re a rockstar! Compared to you guys, I don’t have a lot going on.” “Even if you don’t have “anything going on”, you’re still quite talented Herr Forehead.” Klavier said. Apollo didn’t look convinced. “Am I, though? I mean, I’m a defense attorney sure, and I have my tell spotting thing. But other than that, I’m not that talented.” “Well, being a muse requires just as much talent as being an artist.” “I guess…” Apollo trailed off, then realizing something. “Wait, I’m someone’s muse?” Shoot, Klavier let that slip. Apollo took Klavier’s lack of an answer as an answer. “Wait, Prosecutor Gavin, whose muse am I?!” “I have no idea.” And of course, Apollo sensed the lie. “No flipping way you don’t. You know, don’t lie to me.” “…Ja, I know.” “Tell me then.” “Nein.” Apollo frowned. “Why not?” “I want to keep it a surprise.” Klavier teased with a wink. “Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me.” Apollo glared at Klavier. “I’m gonna find out, Prosecutor Gavin. Watch me.” Klavier slowly grinned. “I know you will, Herr Forehead.”

Alright, they didn’t answer as much as I would have liked, though they might do more in the future, thankfully, but there were a few notable nuggets of info, even if Dana often invoked “death of the author”. For one, Willow is pan and Hunter bi, Raine’s Palisman was hidden in their instrument and repaired by Dell and Hunter, the rat seen in Clouds on the Horizon is Alador’s Palisman, Evelyn and Caleb are indeed the ancestors of the modern Clawthornes, but they and Hunter are unaware, Papa Titan’s full name is unpronounceable to humans and witches, Luz and Hunter confirmed to be like siblings, a maybe on Vee x Masha (they deserved more in the finale), the shack where the portal was is indeed where Caleb and Philip lived, the portal door’s eye is apparently at least representative of Papa Titan’s, “The Third Bill” on YouTube apparently got something right about Hooty (he was apparently the Titan’s tapeworm from what I’ve heard), Raine and Eda aren’t officially married but they “have” moved in together, and the Collector does indeed visit the aisles frequently, being genuinely close friends with King, so given how you felt about them leaving to begin with, I know you’re happy about that. Just wish that they’d talked more about the origins of the portal door and how magic with Palismen works, especially for humans like Luz, just for starters.

Alright, time to dig in on this one. Let's go point by point:

-Willow is pan and Hunter is bi: totally would've called it with Willow, though I'm actually kinda surprised with Hunter, I wouldn't have called that one. Cool to hear it, regardless!

-Raine's Palisman was hidden in their instrument and repaired by Dell and Hunter: very interesting. There's so much we didn't get to learn about Palismen, so I never would've guessed they could have that kind of modification, or that the staff part at least can be broken/repaired.

-The rat seen in Cloud on the Horizon is Alador's Palisman: I can't McF*cking believe it, that's hilarious

-Evelyn and Caleb are indeed the ancestors of the modern Clawthornes: we been knew, but good to have confirmation. Fuel for the pyre that is my headcanon that everyone is in a big messy family after the end hahaha

-Papa Titan's full name is unpronounceable to humans and witches: yeah, I kinda figured. I remember when people though he was called Yore because of that comment in the Titan Trapper episode, good times XD

-Luz and Hunter confirmed to be like siblings: I think people would riot otherwise, lol

-...a maybe on Vee and Masha: kinda surprised they outright said they aren't a thing (yet, at least), that's the kind of thing I'd just let the fandom headcanon about with no comment. I totally ship it, regardless!

-The shack where the portal was is indeed where Caleb and Philip lived: we been knew, also. Kind of a missed opportunity not to have Belos comment on it, but that's exactly the sort of thing that would've happened with more time, I guess

-The portal door’s eye is apparently at least representative of Papa Titan’s: I mean, I guess, but we know so very little about the portal and the Titan that it's really anyone's guess what that ultimately means

-“The Third Bill” on YouTube apparently got something right about Hooty (he was apparently the Titan’s tapeworm from what I’ve heard): LOL

-Raine and Eda aren’t officially married but they “have” moved in together: I mean this works perfectly for my vision for the Kverse, which is basically Raine going "this is my partner Eda, and this is Eda's partner Camila" :P anyway, marriage is just kinda superfluous sometimes, so I totally get it. They're an item, no matter the paperwork

-The Collector does indeed visit the Isles frequently, being genuinely close friends with King: still doesn't address the fact that it really is a weird choice IMHO to have him do his growing up off on his own or surrounded by a familiy that is clearly a bad influence, but I do appreciate that he at least visits often!

Critical Role, Campaign 3 Episode 40

Got him again, clearly. Wow, he looks ESPECIALLY frustrated with this time's intro.

Sam's new skit being styled like THE WORST RADIO PRESENTATION EVER is absolutely priceless. Letting Sam loose on the sampling board was a trip, the others are dying of laughter. Marisha in particular is just paralytic ... I love it.

Ugly Christmas sweater! Matt: "That us delightfully ugly!" And A CHETNEY HAT!!! I WANT ONE!!!

Love them geeking on the action figures too. So adorable!

Sam us clearly getting too enamoured of that soundboard, by the way ...

Ah ... AAAAAAAAAH!!! That's right! Imogen's mum's alive! Okay! Here we go!

Yes! Talk to her again! Come on, girl! No time to waste! Yes, I know it's a lot but SERIOUSLY, this us a big deal! And Laudna's just being SO SWEET about it ...

She's being so evasive ... I mean loving and concerned but also really evasive ... one more chance at a message ... yes, force the point!

She "couldn't stay without knowing what she is" ... that is LOADED. She sends too ... yeah, I thought so, she's trying to keep Imogen safe by staying incognito. Yeah, she ain't budging on this, but then neither is Imogen. Wow, she really is her mother's daughter.

Come on Laudna, cheer our girl up! That's it! Yes! God this undead lady's just so lovable. :3

So they go up on deck and walk STRAIGHT INTO the aftermath of that crazy Chetney scrap ... Imogen's reaction I'd priceless and totally understandable.

Oh yeah, Orym and Fearne still need healing too. Like all this heart to heart is goi g on and they're just stood there bleeding on the deck.

Fearne STILL likes the idea of becoming a werewolf faun, that's so wild ...

Orym continues to be the warm calm centre to this whole thing snd I love it.

Chetney's like FALLING DOWN exhausted on his feet ... oof ... they wake FCG and Ashton up znd Ashton's just ANNOYED he missed it all! XD FCG heals Chet and he wakes up SO HIGH ...

Ashton: "Raise your hand if you think you might turn on all of us." Fearne insists she wouldn't. NOBODY believes her. No, I don't either. She's like a TOTAL chaos gremlin, that's only gonna get MORE dangerous ...

Pate! Okay ... the now living Pate is giving FCG a massive existential crisis. XD "Am I just THAT but with a wheel?"

The group wonder who's gonna be next to glair up ... once again votes are cast for Fearne. No surprise there ...

Orym sends a message to Dorian through the Stone ... oh man ... come on Liam, don't do this to us right now.

Ashton and Orym have a heart to heart ... angry rock man trying to be sweet snd supportive is weird but also surprisingly effective. And it's kind of working too, Orym is OPENING UP to him! Oh man ... little man SEEMS LIKE he has it so together and yet ...

Ashton really just hopes he gets to punch a werewolf sometime. Yes, mate. We hope you will too.

Okay, they are now in A FLAT SPIN!!! But they get out of it ... once again still no MAJOR problems ...

Desk comes and Chetney wants somebody to TIE HIM UP!!! XD He gets some manacles ... here we go. Oh boy, this us getting all kinds of kinky all of a sudden ...

New day ... 3 ... okay ...

Dog sized bird creatures ... hmmm ... not good. A dozen or so ... Laura: "Sam doesn't know what a dozen is." Sam: "So that's like twenty?"

FCG attempts to communicate with them to ward them off znd they don't respond, instead attacking ... argh, 3 points of piercing damage! AND HE'S POISONED?!!! Shit!

Okay, COMBAT!!! Here comes OH MY GOD THAT IS ANOTHER AWESOME BATTLE MAP!!! Matt's craft powers have done him proud this time!

Happy STS, Ren! How have you been? How is it going? Any writing updates? What have you been thinking about lately? @writingonesdreams

And a happy sts to you as well. ^^ Actuall, you have perfect time, Dreams. I was just about to make a writing update post for you ^^ This got pretty long, so here's your weekly read more. Enjoy.

I'm a little tired, but otherwise am doing alright. The head cold is mostly cleared up so I've been working on Forgotten Gods' draft 2 and setting up a DnD campaign.

I just finished up chapter 1, which ended up being over 4k words this time which is almost double its old length, and started chapter 2. Still not entirely sure how I feel about how the first conversation went between Silver and Eternity, but we'll see what it looks like when I give it time and reread it later. I'm introducing your favorite monster hunting elf, Reuven, and his giant grumpy wolf friend to the story now.

There's a lot of foreshadowing I missed in the first two chapters, so I'm having to reference my notes and my old draft quite a bit as I go. It should start moving more smoothly around chapter 6 or so. The first 5 chapters make up at least a quarter of my total editing notes XD The total word count for the draft is at 4,250 words at the moment. Not bad progress, all things considered.

As for what I've been thinking about, the short answer is a lot of things.

I'm world building two worlds (my weird dark fantasy dnd world and the world for the dark princess wip), trying to find solid plot points and build all of the side characters for both of those worlds, rewriting Forgotten Gods (while it's mostly faithful to the first draft already feels like a different story with the places that have changed), and have been meaning to finish the editing for The Plight of a Sparrow book one and writing the first draft of the second quest arc for The Shackles of Time. All the while, my brain is also nagging at me that it's been awhile since I've done anything with The Firewalker (an old project with my two morally questionable characters and their inability to do anything but make more problems for themselves).

My brain feels kinda like jelly right now, lol.

At the forefront of my mind tonight, though, is I need to build a pantheon of gods for my DnD setting since all of my players went 'oh fuck no' when I mentioned there'd vampires and dove straight for the holy classes. They have been giving me puppy dog eyes since they picked their classes, hoping I'd build the pantheon faster so they can pick their temples and build their backstories and stuff. I've been meaning to get to it, but there is still a ton of world building I need to get done before I can turn my dnd group loose on the world. Like vampire rules. I'm not sure if I'm sticking with DnD 5e's vampire rules, or if I'm going to mix and match from different media.

I also need to sit myself down and finally decide what I'm going to do about magic for The Dark Princess of Aconitum. It's my second biggest sticking point, right after finishing building the noble houses and all of the nobles in them and then literally naming every character because I have named no one. XD But it's the most plot-relevant sticking point.

So, I've got a lot on my plate, lol.

Oh, it was exactly the same for me! It's a long story but at first I really wasn't interested in the show at all, but my family would put it on during every meal so I'd catch a few episodes here and there, I even missed the bella ciao scene at first. But during s2 when tokyo confronts Sergio about Andrés knowing his name, and we get like a 10 sec flash to the bella ciao scene, that was my first time I went "what's going on here" and the seed for my hermanos obsession was planted XD If you'd said to me back in 2019 that 5 years later these 2 would be my favourites and I'd still be loving and missing them, I'd never have believed it lol. I rewatched some scenes I'd missed, by the s2 finale I was invested and the hermanito reveal made me cry 😭💔

You're not alone, I will never recover from that either. In fact, allow me to make the scene worse for you - there's one thing I noticed when rewatching the show. When Tokyo dies/Raquel 'fake' dies, both times Sergio is pleading with them too to get away or give him up. But you'll notice in both cases he's adamantly giving "orders" in a sense, he doesn't use the words "por favor". There's only one scene where he switches from orders to child-like pleading, and that's the hangar scene. He's pleading, begging Andrés to leave and he screams 'Andrés por favor' desperately.

(pt 2) Sergio really is so comfortable with affection from Andrés, love the way you put it! And hahaha Andrés is the most Unhinged Bastard Man but that flies out the window with hermanito, he's always so fond of him. One of my favourite things about their relationship is how they are both such cold/reserved people otherwise but around each other they can show their genuine emotions, it's beautiful. The guantanamera scene is like a perfect time capsule of their bond, the mingled grief and love, the joy and the sorrow, the smiles and tears. And how despite Andrés is the one with a death sentence looming over him, it's him trying to cheer up Sergio, just like in the Bella Ciao scene it's him singing "che mi sento di morir" and continuing on till Sergio smiles. Anyway it's truly such a precious scene and I love how it ends with their silly little dance moves, gives me so much serotonin :') Please don't apologise about replying late, I loved reading your thoughts too! It's such a joy to find a fellow heist brothers fan :D I just hope I'm not bothering you with my rambles asfdfjsk I've been thinking abt them a lot lately 😅 Thank you for the gifset again and for being so kind, hope you have a great day 💗

I remember that scene in season 2, and I love the shot we get of the hug there, like you can really see how protective it is, the way Andrés crandles Sergio's head and back... so yeah, I can totally see how that moment planted the first seed for your hermanos obsession! And wow, thank you, this did indeed make that scene even worse for me, I didn't think it was possible! You're so right, oh no... really, the way Sergio sobs "Andrés, por favor!" is so child-like and heart-wrenching... literally a little brother begging his big brother not to leave him, and knowing on some level that he'll never be able to make him change his mind... I need to curl up into a ball for a while ahhh

Yesss, that's such a big brother moment for Andrés! Like he can be pretty self-centered but there he clearly puts Sergio's needs above his and I melt! Side note about the bella ciao scene, I wonder if Andrés singing "e se io muoio da partigiano tu mi devi seppellir" on his own was supposed to be some sort of foreshadowing of the fact he'll die and Sergio'll survive... I mean, "and if I die as a partisan you must bury me" is basically what happened, isn't it? Except that now I'm struck by the thought that probably Sergio couldn't bury Andrés, coudn't take care of his brother's body... OH NO. On a happier note, I love the way Sergio asks Andrés, "we're the resistance, aren't we?" in the bella ciao scene, it almost sounds like it used to be an inside joke, maybe something they told each other when they were younger, captivated by their grandfather's stories... And yes, Sergio "I don't dance" Marquina WILL dance if his big brother so requires :D

10: Chase Collins

Who doesn't love a goofball? In the first half of the movie, Chase is basically perfect. He's sweet, funny, not all caught up in his ego, and actually pays attention to what the girls around him are saying, not just to what he wants to hear. If not for the whole... it was all an act to get close to Caleb and try to steal his magic thing, Chase would actually be a damn good high school boyfriend. He's adorable and would be a fun date, but he's also only 18 so best not to start making long-term plans lol. Also, y'know... the whole psycho revenge/power grab thing.

9 Jack Benjamin

Y'all. Y'all. Words cannot describe how much I love Jack. Pretty sure I've made this clear. As a person/character in general, he's absolutely in my Top 3 - not just of Sebastian's characters, but any character ever. ❤ But as a boyfriend? Boy's got baggage. It's what makes me so protective of him, but seeing as how he's trapped in the closet thanks to his overbearing homophobic family and the insane expectations heaped on him, as the show left him, he can't handle an honest relationship. He's too easily influenced by all the wrong people, poor babe.

8 Chris (Destroyer)

On paper, undercover cop sounds cool and exciting, but even if you ignore the fact that he, y'know, dies... Chris got in too deep and kinda lost the mission, so to speak. Best case scenario, you're his sexy partner and in on it all with him and end up on the lam for the rest of your lives. Worst case, this man lies for a living, so can you even trust him? And... yeah. The whole dead thing. Chris is hot af but getting involved with him is a recipe for disaster.

7 Ben

Min and Hathor have mercy, I love Ben! He's smart, he's snarky, he's caring and loyal... he's an absolute disaster. He's another one who seems allergic to honesty, until his lying and avoiding nearly kill his girlfriend. Not exactly relationship goals lol. Everything before totally was, though! Ben's adorable, and I love how he stayed up all night to protect his girlfriend (from a ghost/demon thing... with a baseball bat. I said he was smart, not perfect, okay? XD points for effort lol)

6 Mickey Henry

I. LOVE. MICKEY. Oml I love Mickey. He's a spazz and - even more so than Ben - an absolute disaster of a human being, but I love him. Pros for dating Mickey Henry: he's fun, he's carefree, he'll cook for you even though he's kinda bad at it lol, he loves his son and wants to be a good dad, he wants his partner to be happy and to love life as much as he does. Cons, and the reason he's not higher on the list: He's a pushover; easily influenced by the toxic people in his life, and it gets him into a lot of trouble. Being easily influenced by toxic dumpster fire of a human being Chloe almost lost him the partial custody of his son that he barely even had. He's an absolute sweetheart, but he's a complete man-child, and dating him would often feel more like raising him.

5 Frank "Suffer Buddy"

Come on! You know he and Mickey had to be back-to-back - they're practically the same character! 😂 Frank is Mickey... slightly more grown up. He's still a disaster, but he's respectful of boundaries, he's caring, he's funny in a dry, witty way that I just adore, and hoo lordy that man is a giver! 🥴🥵 Honestly, if he didn't smoke and didn't ditch Daphne in the middle of a party hours away from everything familiar to her surrounded by strangers to go do drugs, I'd call Frank perfect. He listened, he respected her wishes, he tried to keep some distance between them when he found out she'd gone on a date with his best friend (it failed utterly and brought us to the "damn that man's good with his mouth" portion of the movie lmao but still)... I don't have a whole lot of experience with men who actually give a shit, okay? So Frank is like a goddamn unicorn to me lmao. But that drug thing... That keeps him at the bottom of the Top 5 for me. Sorry, bb

4 Bucky

I can already hear everyone on here raging at me for placing Bucky so low on this list, but hear me out: I love this man. I love all four iterations of this man. Flirty 40s Bucky was a doll (fun date, not commitment material). Post-POW camp 40s Bucky had a fire to him that set me on fire. The Winter Soldier can choke me any damn day. Unf. And TFATWS Bucky... Oh, lady above, 2023 Bucky is a gem! He's sweet, snarky, and broken. He feels utterly, wretchedly alone in the world, and everyone around him, including his only friend, is telling him to "man up" and "make amends" for shit that was never his fault to begin with, rather than helping him come to terms with all that he's suffered and all that he's survived. Bucky needs and deserves love. A relationship with him would be so solid, if he found the right person... But it would take a fuck ton of work. He needs someone strong, patient, and more stubborn than he is to prod him until he finds a better therapist and actually opens up, and to keep him on track because even good therapy comes with homework. He does have to "do the work," Sam was right about that much, but he was way off base with what that "work" is. Bucky needs help and understanding, and he would be an amazing boyfriend... if he found someone with the strength to help him weather his nightmares and flashbacks, and help pull him out of this PTSD pit he's been in since 1943.

3 Chris Beck

Big brains turn me on, okay? 😂This man is an astronaut and a surgeon! Yes, please! Come here, you sexy genius! He's smart, he's funny - pretty sure Sebastian is incapable of playing anyone who's not delightfully snarky lol. He's pragmatic when he needs to be but there's also nothing he wouldn't do or risk for the ones he loves. This man is husband material and I cannot be convinced otherwise! So why isn't he #1? Cuz of the whole... spending years in space, thing. Super cool job and I'd be his biggest fan on the ground, but god damn, I would miss him while he's away!

2 TJ Hammond

Look, I'm gender fluid and he's a little bit bi 😂😂😂 Let me have my fantasy, okay? TJ's definitely got a lot of shit to work through, but love brings out the best in him. Before that fucking closeted shitbag broke his heart and stomped on it for good measure, TJ was clean and sober for months, he was happy, he was playing piano again, he was pulling himself together. Not only would he be an amazing boyfriend, but his partner would get the extra joy of getting to watch their love and devotion to him be the thing that saves this beautiful man's life. It's not healthy overall to tie your self worth and will to live to a relationship, but if he found the right person who would be there for him through all of life's shit and stick it out, I think he'd be okay. Even after his lowest point and without the support of his family, TJ still had a dream and he still chased it. He's not just the sweetest person to ever grace our screens, but he's ambitious and business-savvy, too. Keep him off drugs and watch this man take over the world, I'm telling you!

So why is TJ only #2? Well, besides the fact that he's like 99% gay and I have no bits he'd be interested in lmao, there's also the fact that this guy owns my heart:

1 Will Franklyn

And not just because we get to see him wet and mostly naked lol. Will is fucking perfect. I would die for this man... because he's already shown that he would die for his love. He almost fucking did, and they weren't even together yet! He's smart and very aware, he's a writer so we'd get to bond/geek out over books together, he's not all full of himself (self-deprecating humor ftw!) and he's willing to help a total stranger despite actual mortal peril, just because it's the right thing to do. Fierce, intelligent, sassy, strong-willed, and a flawless moral compass? YESYESYESYESYES! Forget boyfriend - let me MARRY this man! 😍🥰

What is happening to our villains? Toga is randomly back because whatever. Shigaraki’s friends don’t seem to care that he’s not in control and he seems done with everything. Only Dabi seems to have a personality left. Spinner is the face of a whole movement but he’s excluded? RIP to Compress’ relevancy tbh he probably should have died ;~;

ah, anon, I totally get your frustration but let's not jump to criticizing this chapter so quickly XD It is the Big Traitor Reveal chapter after all so the focus is gonna be on AFO and the Traitor rather than on the LoV.

Having said that (plus my answer is based on what I gather from the leaks and I need the official translation to be out before I can really understand what's going on in the chapter), I get why it seems like Toga is randomly back with the gang. You see, we didn't have a LoV focused chapter since the war arc. All we got are some 20 to 30 chapters from the Top Hero Trio's, Deku's or AFO's POV so we don't really know what is going on with the League. AFO doesn't care about the League at all. He merely sees them as useful pawns Tomura collected and now at his disposal. They aren't gonna feature in his self-centered perspective. (Although iirc we did see Toga a few chapters back where AFO was talking to a very exasperated Spinner so I guess she returned to them soon after the war arc.)

I still have hopes we get a chapter or two from Spinner's PoV (just like MVA arc) where we get all the flashbacks as to how they found Toga, what was their reaction to the Dabi reveal, whether they discussed about Twice's death and Mister Compress's capture, what they think of AFO's possession of their leader's body etc. etc. At least a throwback to this touching found-family scene:

Okay, now, about Shigaraki's friends not caring about him not being in control? Um, I don't think so? Spinner did challenge AFO taking over Tomura's body in Ch 298, remember?

Plus, you see, they can't exactly openly challenge AFO's authority. AFO is super powerful, powerful enough to kill them with the swipe of a hand. Especially, Spinner or Toga who don't have powerful quirks to faceoff AFO directly. Also, he has Tomura's body in his possession so I guess they are sticking around, waiting for their real leader to take control of his body again. idk but there is nothing that suggests that they have stopped caring about Tomura or that they are happy with AFO being in charge. Even in the leaks for this week, there is the little panel of Toga looking on worriedly as Tomura writhes in pain?

About Dabi, yeah, he is still going strong in his plans to completely bring down his dad. I don't know if he is okay with the current situation of AFO being in charge instead of Tomura. Perhaps, under his impassive face, he is concerned about AFO's possession of their leader? I am not sure. I need to see something from his perspective about the League since whenever we get Dabi's pov, we mostly only get to see Endeavor and his real family, so yeah. No idea. I believe he does care otherwise he won't have stuck around for so long and that too from the beginning.

Also, sorry anon but I don't get what you are saying about Spinner. He has been featuring majorly in these arcs, so why is he...excluded? (Perhaps, I am missing something from the leaks?)

Mister Compress is still in hospital, right? He was a minor character to begin with, never featured much in any of the arcs, got a small spotlight in the war arc and was sidelined again on the pretext of major injury. As disappointed as I'd be, I don't have much hopes of seeing him in the finale. Maybe, he will show up again in the post-time-skip where he is seen happily doing his thing alongside the rest of the League.

when I started shipping it if I did: A while ago... probably late 2011/early 2012? I didn't pay them much attention when I first played, but reading up about them in the World Guidance book really changed my outlook on them and totally converted me haha. I can't believe I missed so much the first time I played (but then again, I tended to rush first playthroughs and not pay much attention to non-party characters).

my thoughts: I really love their dynamic, I mean to begin with I'm a sucker for lord&loyal retainer relationships (romantic or platonic both), but this one takes it a step further by making them former enemies so... the amount of trust and respect they have for each other in spite of that complicated past makes it all the more delicious. They're really incredible.

What makes me happy about them: How well they're in tune with each other. And all the silly little things we learn about them (those silly jingles...)

What makes me sad about them: We shall not speak of Wingul's canon fate.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: Honestly I've not really encountered it in English-speaking fandom so it's thankfully not a problem here, but I don't like it when they're made to adhere too closely to old-fashioned seme/uke dynamics. Gaius being too domineering or Wingul being too much of a tsundere; plus the rapey undertones those portrayals can lead to. That might be a conflicting headcanon issue tbh. People can write them however they like, some things are just not for me ^^;

things I look for in fanfic: Almost literally anything cuz I'm happy to just see new contents of them. But the stuff I like the most... Pre-canon mutual pining. Or pre-canon established relationship where they're in love and conquering Auj Oule at the same time. Humor where they're being extra competitive about some silly thing. Chimeriad Live fix-it. Some fluff and spice are nice too. And ofc I'm always down for angst, though I prefer with happy ending.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Haha, well, most other Gaius ships are NOTPs actually, and the ones that are not I OTP the other character with others, so it's hard XD; For Wingul, if I didn't headcanon him as 100% gay I'd probably love him with Presa, but as things are they're best brotp.

My happily ever after for them: Wingul comes back from vacation. Yup.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: Gaius is big spoon.

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Those two dorks probably see work as a bonding activity. Otherwise, some friendly competition thing like shogi, sword practice etc. And taking Gaius out to eat sweets XD

002 | Gaius | Give me a character & I will tell you

How I feel about this character: He's... so great??? Like honestly my main issue with my first playthrough is that I immediately dismissed him as another "well-meaning extremist" villain and missed all the hints he would be something else. Like when NPC talk about how great their king is usually you're waiting for the catch, the event that shows he was actually evil. Except it's not the case here, the NPC were right, he really is a good king. So he blew my expectations haha. And despite my issues with X2, I'm glad we got to see his more relaxed (dorky) side in it, that made him all the more endearing.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Wingul, Milla

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Gaius & the Chimeriad as a whole. I love their relationship. Forget what X2 says, they cared for each other!!

My unpopular opinion about this character: While his solution was a bit unrealistic, he made really good points about why the schism should not be dispelled so soon and I wish they hadn't been handwaved so fast just because the party won and the last arc was rushed. Ideally, they should have reached a compromise, a middle-ground solution to cooperate on, rather than let the party have their way despite their lack of back-up plan. But ig things turned out all right eventually...

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: See above. Actually the devs mentioned initially planning different routes at the end of X1, where Gaius or Muzét would join the party near the end. I wish that could have been implemented because that sounds closer to how I would have liked the last arc to go (well, the Gaius joining route anyway; what I had in mind for Muzét is vastly different). Also, in X2, I wish his character episodes had been focused on Karla instead of random NPC. If they wanted to pull a "king vs man" arc she would have been a much better choice.

a headcanon fact: He tends to be the softy one in private. Probably because he has to mask his feelings all the time in public, so when he's with someone he can truly let down his guard with in private, he lets out his affectionate side. He just sometimes really wants a hug okay!

002 | Wingul | Give me a character & I will tell you

How I feel about this character: why hello my favorite character archetype I love him and his loyalty to Gaius and their cause. I also find it fascinating how he's a bit like "the end justifies the means" and does a bunch of shady stuff, but it usually only ends up being harmful to himself. Like he's ready to go far on some stuff but only if he's the one making the sacrifice. It's an interesting spin on this type of character. Also his obsession with jingles is hilarious.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Gaius

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Nils, Presa, Jiao, Elize

My unpopular opinion about this character: The tsundere jokes are funny for a bit, but I don't think he's really tsundere. He had conflicted feelings about Gaius at first, but he's sorted out his feelings about it by now.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I'm gonna sound like a broken record, but the story would have worked just as well if he'd survived. He and Rowen would have been a great team as Gaius' advisors, with Wingul working more on internal affairs while Rowen is focusing on diplomacy with Elympios.

General Questions

Do I celebrate Xmas? Yes, I do! I go to my mom’s place for Xmas, where we have dinner and then her boyfriend puts on his super old, super old and worn-out Santa clothes (which is very endearing, cause he is always having the time of his life). Then he hands us our presents which are gathered under the decorated Xmas tree and we have to cite a poem or sing to earn each present. Afterwards we all unpack together, excitedly thanking each other, have dessert and then watch a movie or a video of our past christmasses someone put together It’s all very wholesome. How about you?

Coffee, tea or something else? I like Moccachino, cause it’s an amazing hybrid of coffee and cocoa!! It’s best with coconut milk! That kind of coffee makes me feel all cozy and comfy, but I handle it like a treat. I only drink one, while a close friend of mine drinks several cups of milky coffee a day. I also love cocoa, but I drink it like others drink espresso. I tiny highly concentrated cup. No more. Like a shot of chocolate hahaha I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but sometimes I crave it. As for tea, I looove herbal tea! Peppermint and Fennel Caraway Anise are amazing. Also freshly brewed ginger tea. And green tea with jasmine/flower blossoms or white tea. Big love for these. All of which without sugar so the flavour comes out to speak of its very own beauty I also like mate tea to keep me awake! Otherwise I love water or - omg - freshly pressed apple juice! The! best! Try it if you aren’t allergic! AHHHH that is honestly THE TREAT for me. Rare treat. I don’t even have it once a year. More like every four years or so. But dang. The. best. How about you? <3

Which shows have I watched this year? Many. Lots of cooking shows (on Netflix), cause, you know, food. xD By now I probably know almost all of them. There was a time when I was thoroughly up to date with ALL cooking shows on Netflix. One of my big dreams is being wealthy enough to hire a cook. To cook for me every day. Yes, yes. Otherwise lots of Asian shows. I can recommend:

A/N: This is my newest work, I'm working on this fanfic which is basically the fluff / smut style, since you guys filled my message box with requests for smuts and I've only been writing so much angst lately XD This is for all the anons who asked this ❤️Anyway I have not abandoned my previous works, which will eventually be posted. The events occur after the battle against Vega

Hayley’s pov

“Calm down, calm down!” Lily said trying to calm me down as I paced the room. "Stop being so nervous, you're going to make me nervous too!"

"How could I not be nervous ?! I have a DATE and it's not with anyone, it's with Kamilah!” I said taking off a shirt from the closet while I tried to choose a look that was ideal for an occasion, but nothing seemed perfect enough for tonight.

"Girl, you look so fucked up." Lily laughed, her mouth full of licorice, leaning against my bedroom door. I turned to face her with an ugly face. "I'm sorry, this situation is very funny and at the same time terrifying and exciting" She laughed. "You are so lucky, Hayley. I don’t even know what I would do in your place if she had called me."

"I'm two seconds from having a complete mental breakdown, Lily. This is no time for jokes."

"Okay, okay. Tell me everything, I want to know everything and do not miss anything out!” Lily threw herself on my bed with her licorice.

"I already told you everything!" I said as I paced the room taking off sweaters from my wardrobe.

"But did she say exactly the words 'date'?" Lily asked.

"I asked her if this was a date and she confirmed it was," I said. "OK. So what clothes do you think I should wear? "I stopped in front of her.

"Why do not you put on your flowery red dress? I like that one,” Lily suggested.

"I dropped pepper sauce on it yesterday. It’s washing,” I said throwing a pair of jeans into the bed.

"Your room is so much messier than my life," Lily said looking around.

"I need something perfect," I said, peering into the wardrobe.

"It's so funny to see you around her," Lily said and I turned around. "Usually you're so confident in your relationships, but when you're around her it seems like your brain is totally blank."

I sighed in embarrassment.

“Thanks for reminding me."

"Do you think it's going to be today that she'll take you to meet her house?" Lily raised her eyebrows suggestively.

"I don’t know." I laughed. "I just want to impress her today. I really like her. I've never felt this for anyone. We hardly stay in an place alone, so today it counts a lot for me.”

"Hey, don’t worry you'll do fine. I think I have the perfect thing for you to impress that grumpy CEO and it's right there in your wardrobe.” Lily got up from the bed.

A few minutes after so much fighting, I was finally ready for my date with Kamilah. Lily was sitting in the living room watching TV and I was looking at myself in the mirror for the thousandth time. My cell phone vibrated.

I picked it up and saw it was a text message from her.

"She's coming. Oh my God.” I sighed trying to stay calm. I went to the living room and stopped in front of Lily. "Do you think it's good? Is not anything missing?” I said pointing to my body. That night I opted for a black jeans, boots, a white cropped, so short that I do not know how it would not attract her attention. Underneath a leather jacket. I pinned my fringe with a catch, letting my hair down.

"Girl, you look hot. I think it's Kamilah's turn to drool over you, hm?” Lily laughed and I rolled my eyes. "Now sit here and stop walking around the house otherwise you're going to open a hole in the ground."

I sat down beside her and waited impatiently for the minutes until Kamilah arrived. I think they were another fifteen or twenty minutes until Lily says something again.

"I bet she'll take you to a fancy place today. You better bring me a dessert."

"I can not do this, Lily!"

"Why not? Your girlfriend is a billionaire. Or did you forget you're going out with a rich woman today? "

"She's not my girlfriend. Not yet, but it will be.” I said with a smile and Lily smiled back.

"That's the spirit, girl."

“...Still I can’t bring you the dessert.”

My cell phone vibrated and it was her saying that she was waiting for me downstairs.

"Fuck, fuck. I have to go!” I said taking my bag. "She's down there. Wish me luck!” I said running to the door.

"GOOD LUCK! go get her, girl! "Lily shouted.

I went down the elevator and out the door. I stopped when I saw a black Maserati standing in front of me, Kamilah was on the phone talking and god... She was absolutely gorgeous. She was wearing a blue silk blouse with some open buttons displaying a gold necklace on her neck that matched perfectly with her black wide leg pants and her louboutins heels.

"Hey," she said, hanging up her cell phone when she saw me. "I'm sorry, I had a problem..." She looked me up and down. "My god... You look stunning," she said. My cheeks flushed.

"I was the one who was going to say that," I said with a smile. She gave me a small smile back. I peeked after her. "Is this your car?" I pointed out impressed.

“Oh, yeah. One of them. Why? Did you want to go out of a limousine? If that's the case, I can...? "

"No, no. This one is perfect.” I smiled. "I just have the impression that you do not drive much." I kept asking myself how many cars she had. She said it so naturally.

"Not as much as I'd like." She smiled back and opened the door for me. I looked at her with cheeks flushed and surprised by the gesture and got into her car. Of course riding in a car that was more expensive than my life was amazing, but most of all it was being on a date with Kamilah. One of the most unlikely things I ever thought it would happen.

"So, how was your work today?" I asked.

"I've had many meetings today. A bit exhausting." She said with her eyes on the street. "Do you want to go to the museum first and go to dinner later?" She said looking at me briefly.

"You're in charge of our date today, so you're the boss," I said, looking out the window.

"Definitely, I am." Kamilah laughed lightly.

She stopped the car in a private parking lot that was a few meters from the museum and we walked to it. I was telling her it was my week when we walked through the doors of that magnificent place.

"Wow..." I said looking at the classical architecture and the items from that place I've never been to before. "We have so many things to see that I do not know where to start... I think I'll get a map, this place is huge"

"It's beautiful, is not it?" Kamilah smiled. "We do not need a map. Come on, the Egyptian session is on the second floor.” She said going ahead and I followed her. Today the museum had more people apparently, so I had to get away from some along the way. I noticed that Kamilah seemed to know that place with the palm of her hand. She took me there with ease. When we arrived at the Egyptian session I could feel that Kamilah was in her environment. Her eyes took on a different glow and she smiled.

Kamilah took the liberty of explaining to me every item we passed and looked at. I could not stop looking at her, I could see perfectly well that beneath that facade of CEO, vampire queen, there was a big nerdy softie she would never admit to and that was so cute.

I was lost watching the Egyptian paintings and I noticed that Kamilah watched the sarcophagus a few feet from me. I walked over to her and noticed she looked distant.

"...It could be me. I could be here,” she said looking at them.

"But thank God it's not you," I said looking at her. "Honestly, I can not imagine my life now without having met you," I said naturally looking at the same place as her. I noticed that Kamilah's eyes were on me, I looked at her and saw that she was smiling.

"Are you flirting with me again?" She smiled.

"No! I mean... I'm just telling the truth.” I spoke with red cheeks. "You're the most interesting person I've ever met," I said.

"Thank you. This is one of my favorite places in town. I was here at the opening. Is it your first time? "

"Yeah, and it's been really fun by now."

"Well, we can come whenever you want. I'm more than willing to teach my culture to you.” She said and I smiled at her, excited at the idea of spending more time with her, Kamilah held my gaze for some more time until she returned the smile, she shook her head and scratched her throat. "Anyway, I think we should go to dinner. We can come back another time."

"Of course." I smiled watching her go ahead.

That night, I learned four things about Kamilah. One, she loved to talk about art and literature, she knew by heart all the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky and Shakespeare. Which was more of a certainty of one of my conclusions about her being a big soft nerd. The second was that she was a big fan of watches, especially from the Chanel collection, which was no surprise, and I always saw her with a different watch from that brand. And the third was that she loved desserts, and especially Italian food. And I could not help but admire her, she was so incredible, sometimes I could not believe that woman was real. Every second I spent with her in that restaurant, my admiration for her grew every second.

Kamilah took me to a fancy Italian restaurant, which she had told me was one of her favorites in this city. She knew the chef and her whole family. We stayed at a table with an amazing view of the city, the restaurant was on one of the higher floors so we could enjoy it. The food was one of the best I've tasted in my entire life, that lasagna practically melted in my mouth, and the wine was wonderful.

"...There was a time when her family was in financial trouble, my company helped. Since then, they always give me dessert discount.” She flashed me a perfect smile as she looked at me over the menu and I reciprocated with a silly grin.

And the fourth and not least important was that she was a good listener, it was pleasant to talk to her, she was so open to new possibilities and her view of the world was so different from everyone I've ever met.

I spoke almost half the time, about my life, my old friends and my city. She asked me about my family, my book tastes, and my favorite songs. And as I spoke, she just listened to me with a small smile on her face and a soft look in her brown eyes.

"... Do you miss your parents?" She asked me. When I told her about both.

"My parents? No, God. I miss my dog.” I said being honest and her reaction was the best, she started laughing and her laughter was the best thing of the night, it sounded like the sound of a song, displaying those perfect shiny teeth.

"That was the best answer I heard this week," she said with a laugh.

I was falling in love with her, and I was not sure I could ever recover from it. Kamilah was that person that either you wanted to be her or wanted to be with her. When the dessert came, I was surprised to see that perfect tiramisu that proved to be the best thing I tasted that week. I looked at the clock and saw that it was almost midnight, Kamilah took out her credit card and paid for dinner, despite my protests.

We walked to the car, and to my unhappiness we did not take traffic to get to my apartment. Which meant that our time was now limited. Kamilah stopped the car in front of the building.

"That's it." She looked at me. “You are officially delivered," she said with a half smile.

"Are you going to have a lot of appointments tomorrow?" I asked, taking off the belt.

"As always. A lot of meetings, I have to close some important contracts tomorrow."

"Kamilah tonight was... It was incredible. Certainly one of the best dates I've ever had,” I said looking at her with a silly grin on my face.

"I had so much fun, Hayley," she said. I sighed in relief, I feared she would hate. "Today was something new, but... Surprisingly good."

"I'm glad you had fun. I had fun, too,” I said.

I noticed that she was analyzing me with those beautiful brown eyes. Kamilah lifted her hand and in a quick, but gentle gesture, she brushed a lock of hair from my face. She touched my face gently and approached, her eyes all the time on my lips. At that sudden approach, I could smell the intoxicating scent of her perfume, my heart pounded and I could feel a chill in my belly.

Her lips were inches from mine, I wanted that kiss more than anything else. But could a kiss mean it would end here? The possibility that we might get out again came into my head, as I turned my face before Kamilah's lips touched mine, making her kiss my cheek.

"What? What's wrong...?” She looked at me confused.

"Believe me, I really want this. Too much, but... Maybe we could do it again?” I asked with a hopeful smile on my face. Kamilah studied me for a few more seconds.

"Go out again?" She asked.

"Yes! And this time, I choose the place. It's going to be different and I promise you'll like it,” I said excitedly. It took Kamilah a few seconds to respond, as she was analyzing that idea as if it were a bad or good deal.

"And what do I get?" She asked.

"A kiss. Maybe a lot more,” I said and she smiled back. “So, are you up for it? Another date?”

"I'm going to release my schedule. One day, then" she said, her hand caressing my cheek lightly. "Then I'll be able to kiss you." Kamilah came closer again and I felt that shiver rise as I felt her lips against my cheek again. "Good night, Hayley." She gave me a dazzling smile.

Hii, goodmorning! 💛 I'm so nervous its literally woken me up. 🤪 But to distract myself I looked up that video of the Danish coach with the baby photos and its true that one kid and Simon are identical at the same age. 😄 You can even see it now although Simon looks so different with this crazy beard, no offense I know hes growing it for some bet or challenge while he's out injured but he's soo much more handsome without it! He looks older with it and like he's auditioning for a Viking movie. 😆 The Danish manager is so cute he seems so nice and he really cares about his players, its obvious because he had a little story to tell about each of the guys on the baby pics. I watched some more videos but I wish they had more subtitles, maybe they assume only people from Denmark watch them. 🙁 Milan does an excellent job of providing subtitles and translations of everything for there international fan base and I'm very grateful for that because otherwise I'd never know whats going on. 😆

It seems paradox that theres so much homophobia in the football world I cant think of any other sport where so much PDA between men happens and for me thats a huge part of the appeal. 😍😍 Its okay if thats not your thing but theres also no reason to be hostile towards the community or your team or players for showing support.

I totally get not watching the matches live even tho I ended up watching everything but its also still pretty new to me and I dont wanna miss anything. Once when they were down 1-0 I got scared and switched it off but then there was this little voice in my head that said, they might be scoring right now and youre missing it, so both watching and not watching felt wrong and like you said its irrational but maybe just accepting that football makes you irrational is the best idea, as long as it doesnt spill over to other aspects of life. 😅😅

Oh and ofcourse I got no dreams about the team getting frisky with eachother although I tried. 😥 Guess I need some more inspiration so they really need to win because them celebrating together with that ugly league trophy would be so so sexy! 😍

Hello hello!! Oh no, I'm sorry for that 😅 Kasper Hjulmand is one of my favourite coaches because you can tell he's close to his players, has known a lot of them for years now, and I think it's so precious of him! (yes I also totally have a crush on him, but we digress from that...) Simon and that horrid horrid beard that he won't cut until he's back is giving me pain pangs everywhere in my body.
