oh good, I was afraid that wasn't going to read properly and people would just be like "what is this supposed to be". :') but yeah! I like to think Eric was pretty fond of Neige as a kid! single dad sees orphan child approximately the same age as his own son and goes "hmm. okay, you guys are going to be friends now." (this did not go as well as he'd hoped.)

(also I do love how it's kind of a running joke that everyone loves Neige except for Vil, who's standing over in the corner and just seething with furious irrational hatred. someday maybe he'll find someone who doesn't think Neige is the best thing since cinnamon rolls.)

Hey y'all! I'm Pops (they/them), a broke-as-hell nonbinary autistic anarchist. People who follow me will know that earlier this year I got a full-time nonprofit job, which I truly believed in and did my best at while I was there. Unfortunately, my best wasn't good enough, and by the end of my term there I was getting lectures from my boss daily (same as all my previous jobs - being autistic enough to suck at work but not autistic enough to get any sympathy or accommodations is hell). Eventually I was so ground down and burnt out that I quit, and I've spent the several months since paralyzed with depression. On top of that, while working there the partner I was living with dumped me forcing me to move into a shitty one-bedroom apartment, and shortly after moving there my motorcycle (my only vehicle) was stolen. Needless to say, being trapped in this tiny space alone with no transportation has not been good for my already historically bad mental health

At this point, the thought of ever working a capitalist job again genuinely makes me suicidal, so I've been looking into other ways of living. After talking to some very helpful folks and looking through various resources online, I've decided to get a used contractor van and live in it for the time being. I intend to dedicate the extra time, energy, money, and freedom that'll give me (plus the van itself, when it can be useful) to mutual aid and the broader anarchist struggle as much as possible

To summarize: capitalism sucks, I'm gonna live in a van and do anarchy instead

Like I mentioned before, I'm completely broke. I know how I'm gonna make money once I have the van, but without transportation I don't have a lot of options. That's why I'm asking you guys for help

After looking around online, I settled on a goal of $3000 to buy a van outright and have it delivered here. If you're in a comfortable enough financial position to help me out, you can contribute to the goal on my ko-fi. question time because i've been debating with a friend about this and i'm curious:

you are offered *unconditional* immortality. there's no way to opt-out or die if you say yes, you will live for the rest of eternity. (you cannot die of old age, nor any other means. you cannot be killed, you cannot commit suicide, etc. etc.)

Tbh if they're really gonna put off ever adding any of the mobs that lose I'd just rather they never hold a vote bcs it really sucks to keep hearing about all these cool ideas and know that they're just gonna scrap most of them. Knowing that they could have added Copper Golems and Mooblooms and Penguins and apparently aren't ever going to now just like....idk it's just a bummer! If they're never gonna add them then I just don't even want to know they could have been added in the first place :/

When Tyler and I lived in Philly a neighbor down the street had a bright pink statue in their front yard which was part woman part flamingo. We called her Flamingo Lady and obviously became obsessed with her. Every time we drove by, we looked for her and pointed her out. Whenever friends visited, we'd say "Oh, have you seen Flamingo Lady? You have to see Flamingo Lady," and we would drive by very slowly so they could admire her. In all the years we lived there, we never once saw Flamingo Lady's patron. One day, we drove by and saw that she had clearly been hit by a car. She was crooked and one of her freakish arms had broken off. Then the next week she'd been fixed, but still we knew then that even Flamingo Lady was not invincible. Neither of us live in that apartment anymore, but every now and then Tyler will text me an important Flamingo Lady update, letting me know she is, for now, still looming over the neighborhood in all her garish cryptid glory.
