#I owe the BL gods

Note
Good luck 😭👍🏼
(I saw you sold your soul to the bl gods)
I didn't sell my soul because I never had one to begin with, but I did pray to the BL gods. They have given so much, so I need to give back. It's time.
Tumblr media
And honestly, what if I watch TharnType and actually enjoy it? What if I don't find it as problematic as I thought it was? I love HIStory 4: Close to You, so what if I just don't care about the problems in TharnType? I'm watching the mess that is Love is like a Cat right now, so Mew has gotta be better in TharnType, right?
Tumblr media
What if I watch a Korean or Chinese bromance and realize it's not a bromance and, by my standards, the leads are very much gay for each other? I love ToddBlack, Oh No! Here Comes Trouble and Midnight Museum, so what if I could be just as comfortable with knowing the leads have fucked without it being explicitly stated?
Tumblr media
I don't plan on hate-watching any of these shows. I just plan to finally watch one after years of avoiding it for various reasons because that was the deal - give me my men back, and I'll take a show off of my petty list.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I loved the The Glory, so I would like other Korean revenge plots that actually involve murder. I truly do not know the difference between Word of Honor and The Untamed, and I have no idea why people keep defending this Wen guy. I know I would like the shower scene in Don't Say No, and I only know the locker scene from Love by Chance and the bullshit aftermath of the show. I have already watched all of Love in the Air because of the GIFs on my dash, and I know Payu fucks with a cross necklace on.
Tumblr media
Also, I need to repay the BL gods NOW because I'm praying hard for JoongDunk to get a show in part 2 of GMMTV's announcements because if not . . .
Tumblr media
It's time.
Amen.

"Baobei, are you free later to help me with some maintenance on Dahongpao?" Even though used at only one time of year and placed in careful storage for the rest of it, the lion dance costume regardless requires a level of care to maintain Hu Tao's standard of pristine. Especially since their routines are well-practiced and adventurous!
Tumblr media
@riteburdened || Lantern Rite Shenanigans WOOHOO!!!
"One will make time for you and Dahongpao.” Already they’re pulling up a mental image of their day’s plans, and rearrange it to accommodate their darling’s request. The time for festivities nears the horizon yet again, but the main difference this year is that the ancient adeptus now holds genuine excitement for it. For some of its events, anyway. Ones that involve Tao àiren.
Of course, as usual, the two of them having their own crucial responsibilities and tasks to undertake throughout the festivities’ timespan-- and not to mention all the preparations they must cover now-- mean that neither can afford to waste precious time and energy until the Lantern Rites come to a close. Thankfully, they’ve both realized that they work so well together that as long as they carefully and meticulously manage their schedules and help each other with the tasks, they will have just enough free time to enjoy the festivities themselves. Even with the addition of their Lion Dance duties, neither think it all a source of stress thus far.
And it’s so... so relieving. Nearly strange, even. For the Yaksha Xiao to be unafflicted with the usual intense pressure and worry leading up to the events. They catch their own expression softening as their gaze flits over to their beloved’s countenance, unaware of their own look returning the smile Tao themself displays.
“Once one finishes tonight’s duties, where shall we meet for maintenance?”

to expand on some of perth’s frankly shitty takes as a queer asian myself, i think it’s disingenuous of him and the fandom to infantilise these actors and act like there’s an “over-saturation of bls”. sorry in advance this is gonna be a long one.
to address the first point - all these actors are grown autonomous people who know what roles they’re taking. as i said in the tags of another post addressing this if you don’t want to act out sex with another man… don’t act in gay media. the primarily gay male writers don’t owe their straight actors a fairytale romance to justify portraying filthy dirty gay sex. gay people aren’t chaste, innocent people who stare at each other longingly and then dead fish kiss each other then never touch again. most have sex - casual or monogamous. portraying that isn’t exploiting actors. to act like the former is true is fetishising real queer people however.
now i have my critiques of certain companies *cough* domundi *cough* who cast actors who are quite literally barely legal with men in their thirties. however that is a completely different conversation around legal consent vs. ethics when money is involved.
now the big doozy - the bl industry being “over saturated”. oooft. firstly if people aren’t getting mad every time ANOTHER version of boys over flowers with the exact same plot is made then this just isn’t a valid take. but also, i’ve been watching queer dramas from all over asia since around the time gun started his career. for any other people who have also been around that long - congrats here’s your age pension card - but also you’d know it was slim pickings. we had either no proper representation or bad representation like addicted. when the BL boom in thailand hit that was HUGE. it meant not only did queer asians have a whole industry to see themselves in but also queer actors had somewhere to go. was it perfect? absolutely not but it was so necessary. the straight actors and fans taking part really need to take SEVERAL seats before saying anything like “there’s too much queer media”. no. there will never be “too much”.
if these actors are ever legitimately uncomfortable taking these roles it’s not like companies like GMMTV don’t make straight dramas. if you as fans don’t like the sex heavy shows go watch the dramas w the younger actors or god forbid just unpack some of your weird homophobia.
but we are allowed to want both quality and quantity. there’s room for both. not every dramas has to be as immaculately shot and thought out as things like ATOTS and Not Me.
i am honestly disappointed perth would spread such harmful rhetoric but i hope this sheds some light on why it’s Really Bad

Star Hunter spoiling their whole line-up before their official showcase on 26 April sure is a vibe.
There's going to be 5 new series and 2 movies (and two singles by their groups ELEMENT & COSMOS).
But first things first:
Sunset Vibes
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank you Star Hunter I owe u my life 🙏
The tagline reads something like:
First day of internship... I don't know where to put my face. Who would have thought!! That the man who had the coolest moves in the bed last night was Than Prathan.
Negl this reminds me of a Big Dragon AU fic but I am so here for it. Looks like they're lowkey typecasting MosBank (and keeping JJ & Fong by their side?) but I guess that's what gets them the most viewers/brand deals etc.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Big Dragon The Movie 3. Acade X
I wonder if the Big Dragon movie is just a new cut or if it includes new scenes. Also, Acade X? I feel like this one has been in limbo forever.
4. Flirt Milk (because milk and Thai BL belong together)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. True Moon (a campus moon & star BL - the way the BL gods intended)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. City of Stars (at least one of the characters seems to be famous/an actor - also, I spy Kimmon all by his lonesome)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
7. Love Senior (aka the GL version of GEN Y you've been waiting for)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So that's it - unless there's more surprises at the actual line-up (like Big Dragon series 2? Hello? 🥺). All of these seem pretty on brand for Star Hunter and if they're self-produced they're going to be pretty solid (if somewhat clichéd but I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing - or I wouldn't be a fan of Star Hunter in the first place lmao).
It's also interesting to note that all but Sunset Vibes is cast with newcomers, which is both nice and bittersweet. I thought they'd showcase ELEMENT more but I hardly see any of the guys in anything?

Someone’s following you.
They’re not being subtle about it, that’s what worries you most.
You don’t recognize the face, mostly shadowed by the hood pulled over their head, obscuring the eyes. There’s a thick scar over the mouth, an unforgiving expression. You see the blaster at their belt, the hands curled into fists. You can outrun them, if you’re smart about it. If you can make it just a few more blocks, there’s a path you can take, one that’ll take you down under the sewer system, spit you out the other side of the city. If you can just get there then—
Something hard smacks against the back of your head, and the world goes dark.
+
He doesn’t have time for this.
People are waiting for him. Luthen is waiting, back on the ship. He had a job to do, and he’s done it. Now, it’s time to go back. To go home. Well, wherever home happens to be for the time being.
But you’re in his way. Not purposely; he nearly tripped right over you in his haste to get back to the landing pad. It’s pouring rain — not uncommon for Arkanis — and it’s left his boots caked in mud, his hair plastered to his skull. It’s cold, enough so that his teeth chatter as he stumbles over your boot, catches himself on the rail before turning back to see what broke his step.
He thinks you’re dead, at first. You’re not moving, face-down in the mud, sprawled on the edge of the path and draped in a soaked coat. He spies the blaster on your hip, the spot of blood on your upturned cheek. Your eye is ringed with a blackening bruise, and Cassian’s eyes travel up before he sees it, half-clutched in your grasp, the gold chain still looped around your wrist, the familiar blue crystal smeared with dirt.
Sky kyber.
Maybe he does have time for this.
It’s odd enough, finding a body dumped at the edge of the path like this. It’s far from the city itself, out of the way and leading to the landing pad tucked behind storage buildings. That’s why Luthen picked it: obscurity. But the spot you’re in, the fact that you’re face-down, bloodied and beaten, it makes his brow crease. Someone must have dumped you; there’s no other tracks in the mud, no other signs of a struggle.
The crystal is warm as he pulls it from your limp grasp. He lets his fingers skirt your wrist, checks for a pulse, holds his breath until he feels it. He jams the kyber in his pocket, stuffing the chain in with it. He’d left it with Vel, after Aldhani. He never expected to see it again. And last they’d been informed, Vel was laying low on Chandrila, so…how did you get your hands on it?
For a moment, he nearly leaves you. He doesn’t know you; he doesn’t owe you anything. You’re carrying stolen property, as far as he’s concerned. Why should he help?
His mother’s voice in the back of his mind has him crouching at your side, rolling you carefully into his grasp, throwing your arm around his neck.
You’re dead weight, and he grits his teeth as he stands. The rain is coming harder now, and it splatters your face, smearing the blood and dirt. You don’t so much as flinch, and it worries him for a moment; you still have a heartbeat, but that doesn’t mean you’ll survive.
Cassian tries to catalogue your injuries as he carries you back. Besides the black eye and the bloody cheek, there’s a mark around your throat, one that looks unmistakably like a hand. Someone choked you, or tried to.
If there’s anything else, he can’t see it. You’re weighed down more by the heavy jacket around your shoulders, zipped to your sternum, a belt across your chest. He should have checked you for weapons, he realizes too late, but huffs quietly, cursing Maarva’s voice in his mind as he continues down the path.
You do what’s right, Cassian. You always have.
The ramp to the Fondor lowers as soon as he’s within sight, and Luthen pokes his head out a moment later. Cassian’s used to him by now, the gruff orders, the demanding demeanour. Kill or be killed, eat or be eaten. The Rebellion needs men like him, Cassian knows.
But he’s never seen the old man shocked. And as he walks up the ramp, you curled against his chest, that’s exactly what he sees.
“What…?”
“I found her,” Cassian says, pushing past Luthen, stepping onto the ship, “face-down in the mud. She’s injured, I don’t know how bad. Someone must have dumped her.”
The ramp whirs as it lifts again, the doors sliding closed. Luthen is pale, his eyes wide. Cassian lays you out on the passenger’s seats. “So you decided to bring her back here? We don’t…” He trails off, swallows thickly. “We don’t even know who she is. What she is.”
Cassian stares at his companion a long moment. Up until now, he’s never had a reason to doubt Luthen. He took the man for what he was, what he made clear he had set out to be. But looking at him now, the lie is plain on his face.
“Don’t lie to me,” he says simply, narrowing his eyes at the old man. “You know exactly who she is.”
“I—”
If he was going to lie again, the words die on the old man’s tongue as Cassian fishes the stone from his pocket, gripping the chain and letting it dangle, holding it between the two of them. “I found this in her hand. I left this with Vel. After Aldhani, after I took what I was owed. You told me it was important. Vel would not have given this to someone without reason, would she?”
Luthen says nothing, eyes flicking between the blue crystal and your unmoving form.
“Would she?”
The old man sighs heavily, rubbing a hand over his face. He won’t look at Cassian, but snags the kyber from him, shoving it in the pocket of his cloak.
“Who is she, Luthen?”
He takes a few steps back, puts some distance between him and Cassian. He leans against the wall of the ship, crossing his arms over his chest. Luthen says your name, the syllables sounding heavy on his tongue. It’s obvious he hasn’t spoken of you in a long time. “She’s a fence. Best one in the Outer Rim. Before Aldhani, the Rebellion was funded only by quiet senators fed up with the Emperor’s power, wealthy families who wanted to do their part. Sure, we have more than enough criminals at our disposal, mercenaries and the like, but most of them barely have enough credits to get themselves by, never mind fund a Rebellion. It wasn’t enough.
“Then I found her. In a market on Tatooine, selling jewelry that had once belonged to Queen Amidala. Legitimate stuff, too, no fakes. She tried to run when I approached her at first, thought I was ISB. Her family was taken, you see, her brothers conscripted to the Imperial Army, their parents killed. She was just trying to make her way across the galaxy, hoping to find a lead on her brothers, trying to make a name for herself on the black markets. Lots of powerful people there, you know. Lots of names, lots of faces, lots of favours owed.”
Cassian just stares at Luthen. “Where did she get the jewels?”
Luthen huffs a laugh. “You know, I never asked.”
“So you hired her.”
“Enlisted, more like it.” He pulls the kyber from his pocket, lets it lay in his palm. “I told her I would help her find her brothers in exchange for her work. I found the items to sell, artifacts, jewels, weapons, what have you. She stole them, sold them, and the money was funnelled back into the Rebellion.”
“Until Aldhani.”
“Before that,” Luthen continues, staring down at the stone. “There was a collector, on Hoth. Had a slew of kyber, signets and the like, bits of the Old World, remnants of the Jedi. Stubborn old fool, but he was willing to negotiate, and she was up for the challenge. I took her there, waited. He’d only give her the Kuati signet, but she took it, paid him for it, started to head back. Until a squad of Troopers showed up, one of the Emperor’s lackeys seeking the same thing we were. She tried to get back, I tried to meet her halfway, but they were everywhere, swarming from all sides. The planet, it’s all ice and snow, steep cliffs and ledges. She caught a blaster bolt in the side, went toppling over the edge. I tried to grab her, but she slipped away.” He pinches the kyber between his fingers, holding it up to the light. “Leaving me with this. I thought she was gone.”
“You didn’t look very hard,” an unfamiliar voice says, and Cassian whips his head in your direction, eyes widening as he sees you move to sit up, gripping your side with gritted teeth. You spit blood onto the floor, wipe at your reddened lips. Your knuckles are bruised, which he hadn’t noticed, and you lean your head back against the wall once you’re upright, eyes narrowing at Luthen. “Tell me you have bacta. Or med-nog.” You wince, adjusting slightly. “Or both.”
“Cassian, get the kit,” Luthen answers, waving a hand in his direction. Cassian does as he’s told, watching from the corner of his eye as he heads for the compartment where the med kit is. Luthen stuffs the kyber back in his pocket and crosses the distance to you, dropping into a crouch in front of you.
“I thought you were gone,” he says to you, and Cassian hears your sharp inhale.
“Well, I wasn’t.” He glances over his shoulder as you wince again, eyes squeezing shut. “I clung to the edge of the fucking cliff for hours, waiting for the Troopers to leave. Couldn’t feel my fingers.”
Cassian balks, turning back to the wall. A memory swims to the surface of his mind; him and Melshi, clinging to the cliffs on Narkina-5, Melshi’s heavy accent barking at him that he couldn’t feel his hands, that he couldn’t climb back up. Tell me they’re leaving.
“You fell.”
“Not very far,” you throw back, and he hears you huff. “Honestly, Luthen, do we really need to dissect this? I’m alive, no thanks to you, but Maker, this hurts.”
“Cassian!” Luthen barks. “The kit!”
Startling, he pulls the entire kit out of the compartment, setting the large box on the floor and sliding it across to Luthen. You’re glaring at Luthen, your eyes fiery.
“The med-nog is in the cockpit,” he tells Cassian, who just nods, trying to shake the memory from his head, rubbing a palm over his cheek before stalking towards the front of the ship.
As he steps through the door, he hears you: “Who is he?”
Luthen’s response, clearly said with a smile: “A Rebel.”
He snags the flask from where it’s tucked in the side of the pilot’s chair, heading back to you quickly. Luthen’s tending to your injuries, helping you shrug out of your jacket, and Cassian takes it, holding it for a long moment, not quite sure what to do with it. He just watches as Luthen cuts away part of your shirt, baring your injured side. It looks like blaster burn, and he covers it with a bacta patch, giving you a cold pack for your eye, inspecting the shallow cut on your cheek.
You wince hard when he wraps your middle in bandages, keeping the bacta in place on your side, and Cassian remembers the metal flask in his hand, stepping forward to hand it to you. Your fingers brush as you take it from him, your one visible eye crinkling at the corner. “Thank you.”
He just nods.
You keep staring at him, cold pack held to your blackened eye. “I heard about Aldhani,” you say simply, jutting your chin towards Luthen as he gathers the kit and goes to put it away. “It’s all anyone could talk about a few weeks back. That was you?”
“Sort of,” Cassian says, realizing he’s still holding your jacket. “I should…I’ll clean this for you.” He turns on his heel, heading towards the fresher at the back of the Fondor, and you call after him.
“Wait,” you yelp, leaning forward, wincing when it irks your side. “Shit, this hurts.” You take a swig of the med-nog. “There’s a holo-pad in the pocket,” you say, gesturing towards the jacket, “and my blasters.”
He walks back to you, steps close enough until you can reach into the dripping jacket, pulling out a holo-pad, two more blasters, a pouch of credits, a vibro-blade. Once your belongings are piled beside you, the holo-pad resting in your lap, you lift your gaze to his again, a half-smile on your mouth.
“Thank you, Cassian,” you say, and Cassian stutters, realizing Luthen told you his name before he could decide if he wanted to use a fake or not, “for saving me.”
“Oh,” he mumbles, jutting a thumb over his shoulder, “Luthen, he was the one who—”
“Luthen left me for dead a long time ago,” you say, your face pinching for a moment before it softens again, though the slight wince of pain remains. “Not many men would find someone laying in the mud with kyber crystal and not just leave them there. So, thank you.”
Cassian swallows so hard he can feel his throat bob. His eyes are locked to yours. “You’re welcome.”
“Who was it,” Luthen calls, breaking the strange tension that has formed between you, “that attacked you?”
“I don’t know,” you reply, and Cassian takes it as his cue to go, heading for the fresher again.
It’s easy enough to wipe the mud from the outer layer of your jacket, the fabric waterproof and tough. It’s lined with durasteel in a few places, he realizes, chest plates and curves around where your ribs would be. Once he’s done with your jacket, he tends to himself, cleans the mud from his boots and his own jacket, shakes the rainwater from his hair. He can still hear you and Luthen, the thin door to the fresher doing little to muffle your voices.
“Was it someone you’ve stolen from?” Luthen asks you. “Someone you’ve sold to?”
“I told you, I don’t know.” You’re exasperated, clearly. “It’s wasn’t anyone I recognized, and you know me, Luthen. I know every face I’ve ever worked, sold or stolen.”
“So it was a hired hand. And they grabbed you in broad daylight?”
Silence. He wonders if you’re glaring at the old man. You seem to have a penchant for it. A heavy breath. “Knocked me out right in the middle of the city. People don’t get involved here. People don’t get involved anywhere, not since P.O.R.D.” Cassian grits his teeth, leaning against the door. “They took me to some warehouse — no, I don’t know where, before you ask. Questioned me for a few hours,” a harsh wince, “beat the shit out of me.”
“Questioned you on what?”
You let out a watery laugh, and the sound is so laced with pain that it fills Cassian’s chest with pity.
“The Rebellion. They wanted to know what I knew.” Another silence. “I didn’t tell them anything, Luthen, so don’t even think about asking.”
“I wasn’t—”
“You’re not the only one who knows how to read people, old man.”
Cassian has to stifle his laugh. You’re fiery.
“Cassian said the kyber was in your hand.”
“It was,” you confirm. “Once they decided to release me, they said they’d take me back. I put it around my wrist to keep it hidden. I’ve been desperate, Luthen; the plan was to sell it once I got back to the city, but instead, they shot me in the side and knocked me out again, dumped me on the side of the road, and I woke up here.” A huff, almost a laugh. “Imagine my surprise.”
“Vel gave it to you?” Luthen asks. “You saw her?”
“I was on Chandrila for a few weeks,” you reply. “Lots of wealth to spread around there, but I’m sure you know that.”
“Watch it.”
“I want it back.” A pause. “The kyber, Luthen. It’s mine, by rights.”
“What rights?”
“You left me for dead, took off from that fucking planet without so much as confirming if there was a body or not. I nearly got myself killed finding it. It’s mine.”
“It’s worth—”
“I know what it’s worth,” you bite. “Give it back.”
There’s some shuffling, the quiet clink of metal, a low sigh. “I never meant to abandon you on Hoth. I’m sorry.”
“Thank you.” Another pause, the sound of boots on the floor. “Luthen?”
“Mmm?”
“Do you trust him?”
“He can hear you, you know.”
“I’m aware.”
Luthen’s smile has returned, it’s evident in his voice. “As much as I trust you.” The old man gives a little laugh. “You two will probably get along, you know. Two of the more tragic lifetimes I’ve known.”
You laugh in return. “Is that so?”
More silence follows, and then Cassian hears the loud whir of the Fondor’s engine sparking to life. He steps out of the fresher, your mostly cleaned jacket in one hand, pushing his other through his wet hair. You’re sat in the same spot, the ice pack still pressed to your eye, but he catches the flash of gold at your throat, the kyber crystal evidently tucked down the front of your shirt.
“Thanks,” you say quietly when Cassian hands you your jacket, letting it sit on top of the pile of your stuff. The holo-pad is still in your lap, a man’s face illuminating the screen.
“Who is that?” he asks, moving to sit in the seat next to you, reaching for the buckles. You reach for your own, but your face pinches in a wince and Cassian stops to help you, guiding the straps over your arms carefully, avoiding your injuries best he can.
“My brother,” you answer, settling back against the seat as he tightens your straps.
“Luthen said they were taken,” he says, brow pinching as he leans back in his own seat. “Conscripted?”
Biting your lip, you nod, looking down at the holo-pad. “I had three brothers, before. Parents, a home, pets, the whole deal. Now it’s just me and him.” You rest your hand on the screen, tapping a finger against your brother’s outline. “Everyone else is dead.”
“That’s why you joined the Rebellion?”
You nod once, and then, “I have to find him. Somehow.”
“And you think Luthen will help you do that?”
You scoff. “Luthen only does what’s in the best interest of the Rebellion. I know that. But, doing what I do puts me in contact with a lot of…interesting people. And if that’s what I have to do to find my brother, then so be it.” You look at him slowly, lowering the ice pack. “Why did you join?”
“It’s like you said,” he replies, “everyone else is dead. And this? This is the only thing that’s ever made any sense to me.”
“Fighting?”
He nods. “If we don’t fight back, what chance do we have? What hope is there?”
The corner of your mouth quirks, eyes shining. “Rebellions are built on hope.”

Seven Ways to Summon the Ghost King
Chapter Five: Butt call? Booty dial?
[1] [2] [3] [4] [here] [6] [7]
Ao3
Summary: "How can a hell denizen botch a summoning this bad?" you ask. Well, Blitzo is stupid, easy as that.
Warning: Suggestive language, explicit language, implied sex. Helluva Boss levels of foul language and inuendo, overall. The use of a gun...
- - -
Blitzo looked around at the candle-lit BDSM dungeon and sighed, squiggling down in chalk the circle for the summoning according to what he understood from the grimoire.
“Kinky bastard, making me do all the heavy-lifting.” He grumbled under his breath, putting in place the pikes to which the handcuffs would be attached.
Blitzo wasn’t at all against roughing it up in bed –or the floor–, but ever since that shit-show against the human government, Stolas had discovered that he liked ‘certain scenarios’, and now he made Blitzo play the part of the deranged cultist to his ‘defiled god’, and he would be alright with that, really! If only the jackass wouldn’t have him go through ALL of it rather than just get to the fucking. Maybe he shouldn’t have used the bear traps. Dramatic much? Yeah.
“And now, I summon you, oh great- you know what? I’m not saying all that bullshit! Hey, you, pompous dick, come over here so I can bend you over!” He yelled at the Circle. “Oh, what? Too vulgar for your Highness? Hmm?” A devilish –or rather, impish– smirk spread on his face. “Ah, come on, you star-caped annoying royal! Don’t ya want me to give you another little death? That was good, wasn’t it? If so, then bring your big, crowned head here and let’s have some fun!”
The chalk on the floor flickered with a weak light, powering up and then dimming down again, as if unsure of what it was supposed to do, to bring.
“Ugh, you’ll be the death of me like this.” Blitzo grumbled dragging his hand down his face.
Finally! The circle glowed a bright green, and the inferno-red flames of the candles emulated it, making the imp look up from the grimoire.
“That’s not supposed to happen like that.”
Above the circle, a spiral of green fog slowly spread out, opening a gateway to a purple landscape filled with doors. Looking directly at it as he was, Blitzo couldn’t protect himself from the flash of light that inundated the sex dungeon and blinded him.
“Ow! MotherFUCKER!” He groaned, scurrying away to hide behind a tantra chair and stumbling all the way there.
The imp rubbed at his eyes and once the light had subsided (haha, sub) he risked a blurry glance back.
Colourful spots danced on his vision in the darkened room, and the green candlelight seemed extra bright, so Blitzo could be –only a little bit– excused for not noticing the dark creature shrouded in stars, with bottomless green pools for eyes, and a headful of dancing, green and white flames.
When he did, though, he reacted the way anyone who had just performed a botched summoning ought to: shooting first, asking questions never.
“Hey! Ouch! What the Hell, man? You called me here!” The creature –whatever the fuck it as– complained as a bullet hit it, in a wobbly, high-pitched voice. (Considering its sinister presentation, Blitzo would consider anything other than a growl to be high-pitched.)
“Sucks to be you then, I guess.” Blitzo said, even as he looked for a way out of the dungeon without having to take down a wall or something.
(For a born and raised denizen of Hell, he didn’t consider that by doodling drawing the Circle closer to the door, he would be effectively trapped with what would come out of it.)
(Okay, fine. However annoying Stolas could be, he’d never force Blitzo to do something he didn’t want, and it had been Stolas he had wanted expected here. So. No really his fault.)
The whole room was frozen solid in a second, by a thin, yet firm, sheen of ice.
Blitzo gulped.
“Come out and let’s talk.” The being said in a voice much like the ice: deceptively normal until you tried to fight it, and found out that it wouldn’t give. You can start explaining to me why am I here in…”
“Hell.” Blitzo informed what posed as a human teen, but he wouldn’t be dumb enough to confuse for one.
“Yeah, why the heck am I in Hell, man?” It did look like a teenager, at second glance as well as the first one.
Blitzo made inventory of the weapons he had on himself at the moment anyway, because Stolas was a very kinky demon, knowing damn well how fucked up teenage-whatevers could be.
(All teenagers of any kind were awful, that was just a fact. Except for Loona, of course, she was great.)
“You tell me why the fuck did you use the summoning circle of a Prince of Hell?” He reloaded his gun and readied his whip. He would have to go for the throat, since rather than legs it had a wispy tail, with no hipbones to secure the whip when he pulled.
“Is that what this is supposed to be?” The awful, no-good thing said with a snort. “You should consider some drawing classes, buddy.”
Blitzo shot his gun four times and threw his whip at the asshole’s neck, watching how his body morphed holes into itself, closing them again once the bullets had gone through, and how the whip landed on his neck and then fell down when he pulled at it, and all he got for his trouble was an unimpressed lift of an eyebrow.
“Huh, ‘Guess that’s out of the table, then. Blitzo mumbled.
The temperature in the room dropped even lower still. He swallowed hard and looked back up to the teenage figure, who had approached in complete silence and now seemed to be surrounded by wreathing shadows.
“If that is all I have a question, mister imp.” The thing said, with cold mist coming out of its mouth and frosting on Blitzo’s face with every word it spoke. “W҉̢̛̱̍͊̂h̶̢̘͉̬̐̕e҉̢̘͙̋̊͑͡r̵̢̛̳̲͐͑͛ȇ̶̬́̈́̕͜ i̴̢̖̖̭̾͂͠n҉̢̞̳̮҇̐ H҉̧̛̰͓͚͂̈ę̴̬͈̦̃̐̈́̕l҉̧̛͓͚̉̓l̶̢͍͎͕̓́͒͝ a̴̧̭͕̟҇̓̓̌m̴͉͑̓͗͢͡ I҈̢̛̗͚͊?҈̨͈͈̈́͗̕”
Blitzo fingered the grenade safety behind his back, and discarded the idea of making a run for the book and to the human world as quickly as he had it. Even if the book was completely safe and unfrozen right where he had left it, Blitzo was still pretty much frozen to the one right now, to his very soul, if he had had one, and could only imagine how easy it would be for the thing looming over him to wring his neck or impale him with a pike of ice.
Damn, and the day had started with plans for a good kind of impaling.
“For real, man, which circle is this? Can I just fly away or do I need to take the Lift?”
In the span of a blink, Blitzo was no longer facing some eldritch abomination, but a very tired very stressed guy with bags under the bags of his eyes.
“We’re in Pride, so, no need to get to the lift, kid.” The imp offered with a small shrug.
The boy –boy again? Those dead eyes screamed college and taxes!– nodded and looked around the dungeon, grimacing. With a wave of his hand, the ice covering the place melted into nothing, without even a wet patch to be seen anywhere.
“Look,” it started. Or he, or they, whatever, “I don’t want to even think about what you’re up to, but the people that insist on calling me clueless or naïve are wrong, so, he locked eyes with Blitzo, and there was a knowing look to him, of the kind that considered knowledge to be a burden, “tell Prince Stolas he owes a big favour to Phantom for not ratting him out on improper use of an ancient hellish artefact.” He floated over towards the still open grimoire, and looked back at Blitzo. “And do take some drawing classes, for the sake of anyone that can be summoned”
His hands moved on their own and the next thing he knew was that he had thrown the grenade up to the laughing being as it phased through the ceiling.
“Shit.” He cursed, and the next-next thing he knew he had dashed to the adjoined bathroom whose door was no longer covered in ice and jumped out the window as the sex dungeon –which, yes had been in an upper floor– blew to bits and pieces.
- - -
Also, even tho I try to write things in order, this was the last chapter I wrote, since I realized seven is a better number than six when dealin with mystical stuff. That's why it was kinda rushed and not as good as the others.

So Travis Kelce did an interview a few years ago about his turnoffs in women…
The first “dealbreaker” was women who refuse to give him bl*w jobs.
The second “dealbreaker” was a woman refusing to have sex with him before the 4th date. because travis thinks that a woman owes him sex after 3 dates.
And the third turnoff was… women who are “obsessed with taking selfies.” i guess he doesn’t like women who are too vain, which is interesting considering who he’s dating now.
My god, what a STELLAR FEMINIST EXAMPLE that Taylor is setting by dating this guy.

Legs That Won’t Walk
Plot : 7/10
The yandere : 8.5/10
Artwork : 9/10
Author and artist : Black Apricot
Oh My F*in God. Park Tae-Seung is the daddy to end all daddies! First of all, my heart just can’t cope with the character design. Park Tae-Seung especially, I like how he is not your typical pretty BL boys. I absolutely dig his slanted eyes that is enhanced by his big and square manly face. His piercing gaze does something to me. Honestly… who can say no to this??
Tumblr media
If I were a fly, I would take my time to hang on his body, admiring his beautiful face. And I am not talking yet about how Black Apricot draws their bodies. A lot of muscle, yes, but graceful/lithe at the same time. This is a balance that is not easy to attain. The art style of this manhwa appeals a lot to me.
The yandere here is Daddy (ya of course!!) who slowly became obsessed to his newly acquired underling, Kwon Soo-Young. The latter owed him money and Daddy took pity (after beating Soo-Young to a pulp). You see, daddy is a gangster and when you owe a gangster money, you better show up with said money.
Tumblr media
Soo-Young is an ex boxing athlete who stopped playing professionally due to a crippling injury on his leg. He does not stand a chance really against Daddy, size wise, maturity and just the general charisma. A natural submissive, Soo-Young is becoming more and more drawn to Daddy’s dominance.
Shall we talk about the seggs scene? Oh my lord! It is too hot! Daddy has the dirtiest mouth of all BL male lead that I have ever read. And it is not the trashy type either (nudge nudge “An Immoral Night”), but rather a witty and stimulating banter. Or a one sided monologue to be precise, as Soo-Young was just practically moaning and blushing. He loves to tease Baby Soo-Young so much. I just love how the both of them fall naturally into the dom-sub role. The entire story is a push and pull of their power plays. The more smitten Daddy is to Soo-Young the more blurry is the line that dictates who has the more power between both of them.
Plot wise, I will not pretend to understand the story from the get go. It seems to be an unwritten rule of this manhwa, for all the characters especially the higher up you are in the gangster rank to talk in riddles.
If you like obsessive unrequited love, we also have other yandere-ish characters circling Soo-Young. All in all, this manhwa is an interesting read. This manhwa is a walking red flag, please mind yourself and check trigger warnings.

BL/QL Ask Game : The Ugly, the Bad and the Worst
Thank you so much to @twig-tea for the tag!! I love these. My memory is not that great but let's see. I'm gonna keep this short.
Worst soundtrack / weirdest song choice in a BL The song playing in Palm and Nueng first time. It completely took me out.
Most cringe-inducing line (cute) DBK
Tumblr media
Most cringe-inducing line (actually bad) Anytime Sarawat talks about boobs. I hate it with a passion.
Most stupid decision made by a character Oh God there so many. But really everyting Knock did in Together With Me.
Worst plot line Amnesia. Nuff said.
The most problematic show you've watched TharnType
A show people love but you find bad I don't know if people loved it so I'm just going off of the sheer amount of gifs on my dash at the time. Bed Friend.
A show people find bad but you will defend Theory of Love, all day, everyday.
Tumblr media
A show that is just objectively bad but you enjoyed it Tonhon Chonlatee
A bad show that you kept watching because you were intrigued/fascinated I do this more often than I should. It takes quite a bit for me to drop a show. With all that said - Big Dragon. History5. The Promise.
A bad show that you kept watching because you were horny Nope.
A bad show that you kept watching because of that one character I Will Knock You. There is so much about this show that bugs me but Noey kept me coming back.
A bad show that you would still recommend If I think it's really bad, I wouldn't recommend it.
The character that ruined a show the most Aoey. Lovely writer. Every time he was on the screen I just wanted him to go away.
Most awful character that you hated Plern. Prapai. For obvious reasons.
Most awful character that you loved Tod. Not Me. I loved every time he was on the screen.
Tumblr media
A character that wasn't awful but that you just don't like Both sisters in both why r u. I mean they aren't evil... but I just… can't.
A hero that should have been a villain I'll borrow from @lurkingshan (if they don't mind) because I can't think of any others. The Wei Wuxian from the novel was just such a more complex character. The sanitized version of him is just way less interesting to me.
A morally bad character you're into Vee. I will defend him till my last breath.
Tumblr media
A morally bad character you're not into and you wish people would stop being into Thua. Let's not elaborate.
The show that disappointed you the most Step by Step. It could've been so good.
The Worst Show of Them All Because of Your Own Reasons Bed Friend.
I'm still not that comfortable tagging people and I don't know who else as done it but I'll tag my compatriot @itsallaboutbl and @williamrikers (because they owe me one 😊).

My men are finally returning to me!
Mos and Bank finished the fittings and script readings for SunsetxVibes.
Yin and War started filming Jack and Joker.
Charles Tu is going to be in another BL.
Fluke Pusit is going to be a lead.
Max and Tul have a fanmeet.
Therefore, I owe the BL Gods what I promised, and for Pride, I'll be watching *crying internally* either a MAME series, a censored Chinese bromance, or a sexual tension-filled Korean bromance.
So far I'm picking between these, but I'm open to more (painful) suggestions. I might even create my very first poll and make the crowd choose for me:
Mame
TharnType
Love By Chance
Don't Say No
Love in the Air
Wedding Plan
Censored Chinese
The Untamed
Word of Honor
Guardian
Stay with Me
The Spirealm
Korean Bromance
The Devil Judge
Worst of Evil
I already hate myself and this endeavor, but a promise is a promise, and I'd promised the BL Gods if I got my men back, I'd finally watch something that I have been petty about without experiencing.
It is time.

Hils Watches My School President - Ep 1 (part 2)
Tumblr media
Ooh burn!
Tumblr media
He is very cute
Tumblr media
Tinn clearly agrees
Tumblr media
Okay, I love her
Tumblr media
I mean he'd probably enjoy that
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oops. Awkward.
Tumblr media
Uh...why are they learning slow dancing in PE?
Tumblr media
Haha! Band dude (seriously what is his name?) fell, Tinn caught him and while they were gazing into each other's eyes the teacher applauded them for an excellent dance move
Tumblr media
Oh he's called Gun! Easy to remember because my favourite GMM actor is also called Gun. When will we get the OffGun cooking drama? I need it!
Tumblr media
Tinn 'jokingly' suggested the enter a folk music contest at a religious festival and it turns out that's the only music contest running in the timeframe they've been given. Guess who is one of the judges!
Tumblr media
Dude, you are supposed to be an impartial judge. Also, you can't throw shade at a religious festival!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love that he's like 'you're not dressed for a religious festival' when everyone else is wearing sequins and he's just got a generic shirt on
Tumblr media
Everyone: you're too cool for this band contest *a few moments later* Everyone: damn, it's a bop!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, ow! He acted like he was going to give the winning garland to Gun and then gave it to the other band instead. What a dick.
Tumblr media
And now Gun is sad. LOOK WHAT YOU DID!
Tumblr media
Wait, what? They actually won? Look, I thought I was done with fakeout losses after The King's Avatar. STOP DOING THIS TO ME.
Tumblr media
Ahhhh! He knew they would win the popular vote so he didn't have to swallow his pride and give the garland to Gun. What an idiot (affectionate)
Tumblr media
Oh my god he even bought a load and got people to vote for his boy. What an absolute soft dork. I mean if you ignore the fact that it's blatantly cheating.
Tumblr media
Oh, he is GONE for Gun. I didn't think it would happen this fast.
Okay, it's always hard starting a new drama after finishing one I absolutely adored, but this is cute. Quite silly, as Thai BLs often are, but cute.

yaoi scholar….. pls i finished the untamed and word of honor what should my next drama be 👀 (happy endings only pls)
also i wanna know your fav bls. if you’ve the time!!
hallo! i didn't mean to let this sit for so long, but i've been using my phone more and don't like answering asks there. i don't actually know many cdramas, but i've got other dramas to rec, if that's alright!
(C/K/J)DRAMAS/LAKORNS:
sotus & sotus s (thai)*
history3: trapped (taiwanese)
seven days (japanese)*
manner of death (thai)*
restart after coming back home (japanese)*
together with me (thai)
long time no see (korean)
semantic error (korean)*
you can watch 2moons2 for the full story, but honestly, the original 2moons mingkit cut is everything to me (thai)*
*based off novel/manga/manhwa
20 of my fav bls under the cut :)
initially, i was going to call it my "top 10", but it's not my top ten, it's just favs that i really love or think you (sara) would also enjoy. so it's just 20 "random" favs. if you (general) want, i can upload the 200+ long list and even include "reviews" of my favourites, but i'll only do that upon request. also here's my blanket rec for mxtx's works. svsss is my fav. i'm very easy. thank you <3
20 OF MY FAV BLS:
sotus is very dear to my heart. i watched it right before i went to university, so it really set that mood for me lol it's not a perfect story, the audio is shit at some parts, and the acting was sometimes stiff, but when the show hit, my fucking god did it HIT. of course i roped all my friends into watching it. it was based on a novel, but the novel didn't particularly stand out to me (sorry). there's also a manga now (3 vols) but i'm just loyal to the show, y'know? it also has a sequel, and that one made one of my friend cry (i actually had to pause the show lol), but for me, the first season is what's rly stellar. (lakorn / rewatches: 4? 5? a lot?)
sasaki and miyano by syou harusono is such an easy read, with lovely art, cute characters, and the softest, sweetest romance. it makes me feel like i've been hit by a car, then the car backed up and drove over me again. sasaki is the light of my life (and also if i looked like him, i'd never shut up. and i project just a little bit too bc oh he just like me fr), and everyday i think about making him my pfp. i owe syou harusono my life. i want to say more about this bc it rly is my fav manga perhaps of all time but that also means i can't say more about it LOL (manga / rereads: 6)
the cat proposed (bakeneko katatte sourou) by hayane dento is quite possibly the best manga i've ever read. the writing is so beautiful, and it's a really relatable and inspiring story for me. plus it's got catboys. *motions to my dnp catboy pfp* but in all seriousness, it's a genuinely great story that squeezes my heart and leaves me in tears (manga / rereads: 5)
doukyuusei is a certified bl classic. i've not read the entire manga series, but i've got the anime film saved to my laptop. that was another thing i roped all my friends into watching, and yes, everyone was gagged (animanga / rewatches: 4?)
koimonogatari by tagura tohru is incomplete, and the "love" part isn't there yet, but my fucking god. i think i just picked it up for funsies at the bookstore, but man was i unprepared. it's not a fun read by any means, nor is it easy, it's actually pretty brutal, but it's a good story, so i felt i should include it. (it is one of my faves) (manga / rereads: none bc i will kill myself.)
summer of you (kimi wa natsu no naka) by furuya nagisa changed me. it was one of those manga that was in my to read list for a really long time, but i just never did it. when i finally did, i totally regret putting it off. i think i cried. it has a sequel (summer with you), and that was good too, but that first one just really got me (manga / rereads: 1)
fools by yeongha has an art style i will forever be jealous of. the original, that is. i'm sure the remastered version is great, and probably the one i should read, but i'm just way too attached to the original and the art is (in my opinion) way better. the story is fun and sweet, and i read it at another formative time in my life. *jazz hands* (manhwa / rereads: 3)
my darling signed in by dimang and new lung. if there's one thing about me, i'm gonna read a video game catfish story. this manhwa is so fucking ridiculous, but i love it. it actually gets pretty dark, which took me by surprise the first time i read it, but it's not between the main cp, if you're worried about that (manhwa / rereads: 3)
dasadanan by herb mandu also has just lovely art. i can just stare at it for ages bc i'm so obsessed. also there's side gl, and i love those two girls so damn much. the story is very easy to read, fluffy, and it's just good feelings all around. it also has some really silly extras. (manhwa / rereads: 4)
history3: trapped is so... it is also dear to me. the main couple is funny and cute; however, it's the side couple that really gets to me. they're so ridiculous and fun, and the actor for zhao zi is an acrobat? does acrobatic dance? i'm not sure exactly, but they wanted to showcase that so he'd just be doing some random gymnast shit for no reason and it's so funny. and jack was made in a lab for me, so. y'know. (drama / rewatches: 2, about to be 3)
glasses cloth and playlist by gwak jonpil was recommended to me by a friend i believe, and i'm so glad i read it. it's another easy read and also very ridiculous, but when i say something is "ridiculous", that's usually a huge compliment. i LOLed at, like, every other panel. the main cp is so damn ridiculous, and i adore them. (manhwa / rereads: 1)
starting with a lie by liang azha has the softest art i've ever seen. that manhua is like a warm hug, if a warm hug also had you gritting your teeth and clenching your fists because GODDAMN JUST GET TOGETHER FOR REAL ALREADY! i love it. oh, but i don't like qiu tian. sorry. (manhua / rereads: 2)
how to survive as a villain by yi yi yi yi is... look, i'm sure it has flaws, right? every story has flaws, but wherever they are, i did not see them. i mean, it's a little bit ridiculous at times, but again, "ridiculous", and the mc was transmigrated into a once-good now-trashy harem novel. and he's also smart but oblivious. bound to be a little bit silly. but also this novel ripped out my heart and stomped on it. and i thought it wouldn't happen with the manhua, but i cried then too. what the hell. i really enjoyed this story, and i think it's what got me into transmigration stories in general :P (danmei / rereads: 2)
a shoulder to cry on by dongmul. okay. OKAY. this is not a "happy" story to most. also the ending without the extras/epilogue is bittersweet to ambiguous. the issue here is that I LOVE ENDINGS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!! this story is so damn good and i like the art a lot and god, some of the quotes? every time i reach certain scenes i have to pause and stare at the wall because no fucking way. it's just too good. i should go ahead and warn that the couple doesn't have the healthiest of dynamics and their relationship starts bc one of them lies and accuses the other of sexual harassment, so. i'm just letting you know now. but i let myself have toxic yaoi. as a treat. tbh to me it's not that bad, but i know everyone has different intensity levels, so. (manhwa / rereads: 3)
never understand by bbong is an... interesting read. arguably more toxic yaoi, and everyone at times can be kind of awful and annoying, but i think that's fun. sorry. i vividly remember reading this for the first time. for some reason. also, as with a good amount of manhwa that i read in my more formative years, i like this art style. (manhwa / rereads: 1)
semantic error by j soori and angy kim is a lot more graphic and hardcore (sex-wise) than the kdrama, which makes sense, but like... DAMN! my toxic trait is that every three panels i pause and go "hey does anyone else think these guys look like jaedo?" and the sniper that's supposed to shoot me any time i bring up rps lets me live because i'm objectively right. the characters are so damn infuriating, but i like watching car crashes, so it's alright. plus the art is good and, well, i never said i don't ship jaedo. *glass next to me explodes after a bullet cuts through it* whatever! (rereads: none bc it ended not that long ago. but i'll probably reread it soon)
no.6 by asano atsuko and here comes all the haters being like, "oh, that's not bl!" "that's more than bl!" "[some more dumb shit i don't care about]!" suck my pussy. i don't care. i loooove the novels and hope we get a printed official english translation. people are right to say the romance isn't the focus, but it's there, and honestly, i love plotty shit. i've heard it's supposed to be the "happy version" of banana fish or whatever the fuck, but damn if that's not a fucked up version of happy. i sobbed my fucking eyes out (novel & animanga / rereads: 2)
snow fairy by serizawa tomo. i'm not gonna lie, i don't remember this story, but on my big list it has a heart next to it, and i feel like i cried when i read it. i've said i've cried about like half of these, and i cry when i see something cute or when i think about my blorbo or when a song is pretty, so that means nothing. but this one really got to me! i think it was just a simple story with lovely art. it aches, maybe. actually, i've just found my initial review, which reads: "im so miserable....." (rereads: none, but i'd like to reread it asap)
bj alex by mingwa. insert loud and disappointed "ooh" from the crowd bc really, phil-lesterfan? i thought you were a scholar? with taste? LOOK. i know this is a basic manhwa, and i couldn't give a rat's ass about the side cp, but ahn jiwon somehow became pookie. it is agonising, though, 'cause like i said, i don't care about the side cp, but oh my fucking god, it feels like everyone else only cares about them. shoot me. also the side cp is into bdsm, but you can skip over their shit honestly. (rereads: 2)
aien catharsis by oshima kamome was another manga that'd been in my tbr list for ages. i really like how the story feels. aaaaand i just reread it and ah. i see why it affected me. (if you can guess what line stuck out to me, lmk, i'd love to hear it heh) it's historical fiction and has lovely art. tw for sexual assault, but it's not between the cp and it's also not shown. (manga / rereads: 2)
like i said, i have a lot more favs, so if anyone wants the full list, just ask. or if you don't want the full list, i can give rec lists for certain genres or just manga or just danmei, etc, etc. i know i'm in batman hell right now (ah. western yaoi....), but i've been fujoshing since i was like... ten. okay this is of course way longer than it should be. hope u enjoy if you read any of these ^_^ <3

Walking up and down the stairs is exhausting right now.
Fahlanruk – episode 8
Ok, we're getting philosophical now. Whose voice is this?
I appreciate that Fah experiences all of his feelings in the shower. The actor did well on the body sculpting.
My favorite disaster child. You don't need to start this out by lying about Fah's game. Oh baby. Someone else stepped in to take care of him while you were gone pretending to be cool. Oh baby. You silly lying liar.
Is this the girl Tap went on one date with and then failed to hook up with before? If so, bold of him to call her to take care of him after that. Also she must really like him if she's willing to come help. Honey, I like you, but go focus your attention on someone more available please.
These goodbyes are cute. (So was Fah's and Sher's from the last episode). I love it when people don't want to leave each other, but things are too new for them to say it exactly, so they're just sweet and fumbling and reluctant.
Stalker BLs have got me trained: I fully expected that to be a box of photos of Gear. Instead it's just a product placement 😂 And barely a placement, more like they just interrupted the show for an ad that happens to star one of the actors.
The Significance of the Two Toothbrushes strikes again!
Is she going to check the closet too? Yes, she's checking the closet too.
All these BL boys are the neatest college students ever. I can guarantee you that my beloved disaster child's room would not be anywhere near that organized if he didn't have a set designer doing it for him. Perhaps the Ping & Tap labels; my boy does have a crush after all. But there would also be clothes strewn everywhere.
Oh shit 😂 She caught you sleeping in the café, disaster child. And she caught you lying about the tennis game 😂 The question is, what is she going to do with all this information? Is she going to look at this mess of codependency and decide it's not worth her time and go off and find some other cute boys to kiss? Or is she going to double down and become an interfering, manipulative faen fatale? Given the track record of this show I suspect the latter, but I can always hope.
Wait. Is this Mark's apartment from Love Mechanics (the second one)? The furniture is different, but the kitchen area and the shelf by the door look familiar. @callipigio, do you recognize it (visible around 10:35)? Should it get added to the list? Or maybe it's just a standard look for cheap modern apartments in Thailand. I'd have to look at Love Mechanics to check.
$25 Ping is drinking morosely alone.
Oh look. I owe myself $25 💳
Is that Rabitat shirt also from First's brand?
My babies 🥺
Also, I haven't said this yet, but I really like Ping's grey plaid pants.
My babies. Trying so hard to take care of each other and not get in each other's way 🥺
Was there always a voiceover? I don't remember it from previous episodes. Anyways, it's unnecessary, the actors and script are already conveying everything.
Ping. Oh my baby. Oh Ping.
Tap's pajama game is excellent.
Ooh, finally the tables turn and Fah is giving someone else relationship advice.
I think that every time Fah claims to be committed I'm just waiting for the inevitable moment that he grows bored or cheats or something. So I'm like Sher, apparently. I mean, presumably they end up together eventually but we do see Sher sobbing in the title montage every week, so clearly Fah's going to do something to break his heart at some point. All that is to say, it's hard for me to get excited about his expressions of devotion.
Also, I want to be happy for Pai to be shooting his shot with the campus hottie, but he's being such a creep about the whole thing that I can't 😕
Oh my god this fake ass injury and this fight 🙄😂 But who is this other tall super protective dude? Lol, for once Pink and I are on the same wavelength. Who is he? Not the mysterious Apo?
Ah, no. A "Charles" who knows Sher's twin. Lol, it's their half-brother. Thank goodness. It was either a relative or a whole new melodramatic plotline, and we don't need any new melodrama.
Speaking of which, where is Tam's amnesiac stalker ex? We haven't seen him in a while.
Sher, don't be so mean to poor Gear. Do make Fah jealous though, it's good for him.
Yay Prince! Set your boundaries. Don't start something with Gear if he's going to be jealous of your friendships. Also I like your blue shirt.
I would also say that Sher needs to set boundaries with a jealous possessive Fah, for the same reason. Except I like seeing Fah unhappy. Something about him just kinda makes me want to torture him. But also Fah, not cool, not cool at all.
Oh yeah Fah you fully deserved that slap.
And don't push Sher! He's got a injured ankle! I've returned from my brief vacation to Tolerating-Fah-land and am back in Loathing-Fah-ville. Get a grip dude. And wipe that pathetic look off your face, this is all on you.
Gossip about Fah that's actually relevant to their work and not just invasive nosiness? I'm honestly shocked.
Wait. Why is Charles there?
Oh Ping. My baby. You make me sad when you cry. At least you have a beautiful setting in which to be sad. It's probably good for them to have this rupture to move them to something beyond this pining stuckness, but it's so hard for both my boys. 50 missed calls 😢
Oh Tap. You are sad and confused both.
Oh god, everyone's heartbroken. We're having a cry-off. Prince, your tears make me sad too.
Fah. What the fuck. Are you doing. Is this an intentional thing to "get back at" Sher and try and make him jealous? Are you just living in your own head, oblivious to the people around you. I continue to not understand your brain.
Oh Sher. How I wish Fah was worthy of you risking your heart.
Wait. So no answer to the who is Apo question? It seemed like such a dramatic cliffhanger last episode I was sure they were going somewhere with that. Will we ever find out? Will the amnesiac stalker ex reappear? Only four more episodes to fit it all in.
Oh wait, looks like Apo at least will show up next week. And Fah is going to the creepy over invested girl for relationship advice? Eh 🤷🏻‍♀️

One of the things I feel like KinnPorsche the Series does so well that not enough people talk about is giving its queer viewers a story that's shelter from societal homophobia.
I want to emphasize that this is not the same as telling a story in which people live in an idealized world where homophobia doesn't exist.
I've seen a few people mention that characters or couples dealing with homophobia is often not a part of Thai BL. I really appreciate that as a queer person who consumes media.
But KinnPorsche does something slightly different.

The state of Utah in the United States has no citizenship requirements for marriage licenses, and Utah County is the only place there that allows international couples to register their marriages online. Since the county rolled out virtual weddings during the Covid-19 pandemic, it became a wedding haven for same-sex couples who are not able to officially marry in their own countries.
As sexual minorities in China face suppression at home, Utah County is allowing them to officially marry and celebrate their love — all for around $100. Although the marriages aren’t recognized in China, some 200 same-sex couples from mainland China and Hong Kong have gotten married via the county’s digital marriage license system since 2021.

Hi.....Do you mind if I ask you some random thing? I used to love shounen and shoujo manga equally....But ever since I found BL manga 3 years ago, my interest in shoujosei (especially het romance) decrese a lot, and what I search for is just the dynamic between mc (male) and male lead...I don't want to read mc (female) and male lead or mc (male) and female lead...And what I want to read mostly are just mlm or wlw stories....
What do you think is happening to me? Is it really weird?
Hi there, anon!
I don't mind at all ^^. And let me tell you, this is exactly what happened to me back when I was a wee 15-16 yo or so, many moons ago XD. But then I found out about BL, I started to come to terms with my own queerness, and I never looked back lol.
It's not weird in the slightest, my good fellah, bc for starters, our tastes are not fixed and are constantly changing and evolving, so something we used to like may not be our cup of tea in the future and viceversa. It happens with everything: clothes, music, food, etc.
In the case media, one reason I found is that hetero romances are many, many times just a forced thing that shows/books/whatever add just bc they have to or something. I mean, he was a boy and she was a girl and that's it; no chemistry, no development, no proper bonding... and then they complain that ppl ship the protagonists with their same sex buddies when those two have a much more deep and compelling relationship than the by-the-numbers "romance" with the other lead.
I personally have more of an aesthetic preference for men, so there's also the matter that well, two hot fictional guys getting at it is something I just find more attractive xD. I can totally see that playing for ppl who are more into girls too. Especially given how still in this day and age 90% of most media is straight, so if we get the hetero every freaking time even without asking for it, it's only natural that we would go out of our way to find mlm and wlw. We literally HAVE to bc mainstream is just starting to catch up with the program.
I definitely don't want to assume anything about your situation, anon, but I think it's still worth remarking once more that it is not weird at all, and I fear you may have thought so at some point bc of the current unhinged wave of puritanism and gatekeeping that infuse with the fear of god anyone who is not enjoying something "The Right Way", or doesn't have the proper credentials to like this or that. You don't owe anyone a saying in what you innocently do in your free time or the type of fictional not-real media you consume, much less some rando on the internet, anon.
Go be free and enjoy whatever you feel it's right for you, or just what tickles your fancy; media is for fun and recreation, and I'd say that you should go and have all the fun with this new interests you are developing.
You're cool buddy :D
