So I got into a doodling mood and the ended up with Cruz in this racing au cause reasons and obviously I had to dunk on @capricule ‘s Cyrus
Anyway by popular demand, Cruzi is pit crew. Maybe for Cyrus’ team (even though he’s probably hit them with his car so many times they have one of those white boards keeping count), or really just for whatever crew needs another body. They’re really just here for race track access so they can zoom around it on their bike late at night when no one is there.

more fhr nascar nonsense, sorry not sorry. after being seriously injured from an on-track crash that killed one of his teammates, cyrus retired from racing (aka dropped off the face of the earth, doc hudson style)
suddenly, seven years later, he's back, but racing for a different team. no one knows how they feel about it.

so people might remember that one nascar au drawing I did of cyrus. well. funny story. I'm actually into nascar now. so I'm even more enamoured with this au. (thanks to @bibyvariable for unknowingly starting this brain worm, you made me like cars??)
also his number is 78 because he always has 7 or 8 gates, depending on how I'm feeling that day :)
