i think it's cool how homestuck and good omens have had some overlapping fans even in the past!!

the dvkt fic mentioned is To Defy Gods and Devils by amaranthinecanicular (2013) - it was written before the tv show (2019) so i found it quite fun that the author wrote it based on their book perception of gomens

Tho it's hard to say when that would've applied to them anyway with their sped-up growth #Not to mention the trauma #And it's possible that doesn't apply to Monsters to begin with lol - but it's all a moot point anyway since these are their only memories!#It's sad to think of how much of themselves are missing forever since Gaster didn't experience them :(#This is what happens when you get behind on your work >:0 #I really wonder what their lack of memories/restoration of memories would do for their like/dislike of certain things!#Like how Papyrus says that sitting with Sans in his lap makes a lot of sense as to why it was so familiar and comforting #But also that knowing makes it sad as well :( Knowing recolours their understanding and interpretation!#Knowing Why makes things make sense but does it actually Help? The day before yesterday I was looking at statistics about reading habits in different countries (average book count per year, age, most read genre, etc) and then yesterday i came across a poll here asking how many books youve read so far this year and now im wondering:

The highest I saw (not just in that poll's tags but on other socials as well) was 365! With the person in question being a lil under 300 rn.

The lowest (and no shame here! I myself have picked up reading again after a long time and it's quite the challenge) was 1! But I also saw lots of people aim for 5.

The average seems to be anywhere around 30 to 60!

And the second most common bracket (interesting that it's also the one made up of mostly late teens and early 20yos) is 10-30!

Idk if anyone will read this but if u do, id love to know more about your thought process in the tags!

(Just pls be kind to each other and no fucked up elitism lol)
