OneShot Au Ramble Post
Wanted to share my oneshot au now that I've added to it!
Spoilers for OneShot and the Solstice Ending below
Before I go any further, I want to introduce the three central characters: Revek, Mir, and Lef!
Revek represents the return home ending: he chose to shatter the sun, and return himself and Niko home. He's the most levelheaded and emotional of the three. His clothes represent the refuge and Rue.
Mir represents the return the sun ending: they chose to put the sun back, and bring light back to The World despite the consequences. They live in the Glen with the other glenfolk, but only allow Niko and some others to see them in person. They are also good friends with George and like to spend their time in the library when they get too distressed. They represent the Glen and Cedric.
Finally, Lef. She got the Solstice ending, saving the world and returning Niko home. She however remained in the world to further take care of everyone. They're very pacifistic and love helping others, and thus travels all over to make sure no one is left behind. They were especially fond of Rue and choose to represent her with a tail. She represents the barrens and Proto.
When Revek gets Niko to the top of the Tower, the Entity starts to panic. It summons Mir to stop Revek, show him that shattering the sun is the right move because it knows that Mir is unhappy with their result. This works, and Revek chooses to send Niko home. However, that only sent Niko home; Revek himself is still in the world, because he is its god, and he can't leave.
Lef meets these other two versions of herself, and decides she wants to help them because they both want the same thing- to go home, see their families, let them know they're ok at the very least. But she doesn't realize she cannot change their fates. They chose what they did.
I'm still adding to this but hehe I hope to do some things with other characters like Rue and the others soon!
