"i'll wait outside, Serizawa-san."

"okay, i will be in a minute."

//soft click of the door//

He made few steps in to the office and stopped abruptly.

"oh!.."

Shigeo looked at the man, keeping the door from closing. Serizawa was standing at the corner and looking at something deep in office, smiling softly. His eyes darted to teen and he nodded his head.

"Look."

He said quietly and Shigeo went to him, closing the door. The soft light his esp caught the chime before it could make a sound.

When they both crossed the threshold area, Shigeo saw it.

Although it was past closing time and also Saturday night, his shishō seemed to stayed in late, because right now he was sitting on a client couch, toughly curled with his head in his knees and snoring a little. The office was dark due to late evening, but there was faint green light on his face and knees.

“oh!..“

The teen echoed his friend exclaim.

On shishō shoulder was sitting Ekubo. Shigeo didn't see him from the start because the spirit was really small and kinda buried himself in human body. The espers exchanged the glances.

"They are asleep?.. Like, both of them?" Serizawa whispered.

Shigeo shrugged.

"I guess. or Ekubo would be greeting be greeting us".

Serizawa looked at Reigen's table where were his books. Bluish light warped them and they slowly went into his stretched arm. Then he looked at Shigeo.

“I am ready, senpai."

"should we wake them up?“

Serizawa chewed his lips.

"It's not often Ekubo sleeps? Maybe he needs it?..“

"First time I've ever seen," Shigeo agreed. He wasn't smiling like his friend but there was so much affection in his eyes, his whole face glowed like his shishō's. "If you say so, Serizawa-san."

They left the office, not forgetting to hold the chime again before they went.

its weird how as israelis, or even just as jews in general, as soon as you extend sympathy towards the people who were massacred on october 7th u immediately get blamed for "supporting israel" and "not holding your state accountable".

when its like. WE are the ones who have been fighting non-stop to make our government and military officials take responsibility for this. I think about Dream being sick.

Being sick at the beginning of the dsmp, he feels weak and frustrated at not being able to do anything but lie on a bed, Sapnap giggles at him while he is cared for, George playfully mocks his condition while giving him soup, eventually Dream recovers and is even stronger than before.

I imagine the him sick in prison, I don't think it is the most stable place to be really healthy, he cannot distinguish where the pain is coming from, he only knows that for some reason he feels even worse than always, his body is burning but he feels as cold as a corpse, sometimes he feels like he's not even alive, his breathing so heavy while he coughs sharply, he doesn't realize he's sick until Awesamdude lets him know.

And then being sick after prison, he is frustrated by the feeling of weakness, he ignores it completely trying to retain the feeling of insecurity that covers his body, he is exhausted but he can't stop, he takes healing potions to stop the pain in their bones and the intense fever, you don't have time for a simple fever (but it hurts a lot)

I think the way hussie wrote about gender and they themselves figuring out their own queerness and opening up more to being queer Whilst writing homestuck (which is basically All character dialogue and character moments) aspects of their identity bled into a lot of the characters just because yknow when youre pouring your psyche out into this huge piece of literature thats bound to happen and i think its a really interesting point of analysis with how gender was written in homestuck (insane)

The Quinton Reviews video was actually the first time I ever heard of The Beverly Hillbillies, but Quinton's dad talks about it as if everyone should know it, like the Simpsons. My theory is that maybe it is because I didn't grow up in an english-speaking country, and I'm curious!

so im not sure if anyones interested, but, i went through quite a bunch of totk critiques by people who were also very disappointed with it and thought id share my favorite videos i found (granted, i only really wachted those that youtube recommened and its mostly .. white men... things like the orientalism problem are not mentioned at all for example, maybe ill update this post if i find any more diverse voices)

i dont agree with every single point and also dont know most of the channels (aside from the big zelda theory guys) so i judged solely by what they mentioned in those videos and the quality of it (like the audio .. bc i cant listen to bad audio)

in no particular order, also they talk about or use footage of the literal ending stuff so if you arent done with the game yet, better leave these for now

(theres some mention of some things not making sense, like the sonau only being two, and ithink thats kinda bc the english translation was weirdly vague about that, in the german version its much more directly said that they all died out and only rauru and mineru were left of them;

also mentions of how unfitting it is to call the enigma stones "secret"stones in english might come from a similar thing; in german they where called "Mysterienstein" which would be translated as mystic/mysterious/enigma- stone

just wanted to mention that since the vast majority are gonna play it in english only and the stuff online is also dominated by english)
