i joined the kin community in 2015-2016 through homestuck i believe. my first ever kins were feferi & todomatsu and they were extremely strong for me. I've since dropped both as the connection died off but they still introduced me to things and i got my footing with them. my memories tend to manifest through music so the song Scarborough Fair was extremely important to me when I kinned feferi.

john kin here. one time i told this dave i knew (this was middle school, i had an entire friend group of sourcemates) that i wasn't the john that made it to the end of homestuck, according to kin memories i was one is the johns that died. he proceeded to ask if that was why i used ghost/ghostself pronouns, then held a funeral for me, pretending he couldn't hear me the whole time. rose stepped on my grave and jade tearfully said i would make good fertilizer.
long story short, dave and i are engaged now. 👍

That late 4/13 kinfession that mentions the Toblerone is referring to an actual irl event where a transfem Homestuck fan found a Toblerone, so it's kind of fucked up to call her a "freak." Positivity towards Johns is fine but you could do it without being a transmisogynist.
They had me in the first half, but I have no idea what the second half had meant. Positivity about au canons is cool but this isn't that. Not at the expense of trans woman.
I'm genuinely sorry for posting that. I'm unaware of the toblerone reference and what it meant, and what context it gave the first sentence. It's been deleted. We don't do that shit here and anon and others can delete their blogs about it.

feel free to smite this ask bc i kin from homestuck but dude most of my memories are like. so fucking stylized it actually makes me mad. like it’s weird as hell and i haven’t seen anyone else who kins from this make the same comment. everyone looks humanoid but has actual paper white skin and hair and everything (or black hair if it’s a dark color). i guess with my own for most of my human kins because i genuinely have no memory of being anything but white BUT if i think of everyone else im like “oh yeah they’re definitely black/tan/pale/etc” and it irks me
