Happy friday! It’s almost Christmas for those who celebrate, and it IS Hannukah- so happy holidays! Do you think your favorite pokemon character has any fun holiday traditions? If not, here’s a question- are they pro- or anti- ugly sweaters? Would any of their pokemon tolerate a sweater for the holidays? Stay warm, and happy friday!

thanks!! i have a long time hc that gloria & victor’s family does christmas with hop & leon’s family, and opal occasionally forces bede to accept their invitation to stay over for the holidays as well.

hop and leon are definitely pro-wacky sweaters, while bede would rather die then wear the sweaters hop’s mum makes for him. (he still wears them to be polite though)

dubwool doesn’t need a sweater, but the rest of hop and leon’s pokemon love wearing them! bede likes to think his pokemon are dignified enough to not wear them, but in truth his whole team wears them (except for his reuniclus, who would love to but cant due to being made of jelly)

Anyway happy Hanukkah everybody and don’t forget that not only the original Spider-Man but also pretty much every comic you love and practically the entire original industry is Jewish and go fucking see this sequel when it comes out because Into The Spidervers is hands down the best Spider-Man movie ever fucking made and it sucks major ass that the MCU scrapped and cannibalized Miles’s story for Tom Holland’s Peter.

Heya, as you asked I wanted to request for the advent event, with a request for wanda please:D

Could I request where Wanda and yn are out christmas shopping and yn discovers the shop they are in has a whole section on Hanukkah, which yn is fascinated by, and as this is their first one together, yn wants to do wanda's holiday also (either wanda hasn't done it in years or does a tiny scale version for herself, whether pietro is alive in this lol) which touches wanda's heart seeing yn grabbing one of everything she sees and forgoing anything christmas related (after making sure which design wanda prefered of course) , including a cookbook on traditional food during Hanukkah (which yn would have wanda supervise because yn can't cook). And wanda just falling more in love with yn and giving her tons of kisses in the shop 😊😊😚😚

May I include that if possible yn picks this mug either for herself or wanda because of the design (wanda being a witch and jewish) , how cute it is and it's Hanukkah related lol

I saw this in tkmax some weeks ago and loved it so much I was gonna get it for me but my dad got it and it's one of my presents lol

I did think whether I was..allowed to have it, but I told myself not to think too much into it as it is a cute design and the mug is massive XD

Day 17 | Advent Calendar Masterlist 🎄

Christmas shopping was always stressful for anybody and everybody, well, not exactly everybody. Wanda never found holiday shopping stressful as she was always able to tell what people needed, wanted, or would love. Even though she knew months before December what to get the team for Christmas, she wanted to take you shopping with her this year. Your second holiday with her and you were just as excited as last years. The mall was busy, people pushing through the walkways to get to stores they had on their lists, some not so kind and would barge through without even saying sorry or looking back. You and Wanda weren't in any hurry as you both walked hand in hand through the busiest time of the year.

"Honey look!" your bright smile made Wanda melt on the inside, "it's a store full of Hanukkah decorations!" you added while practically dragging her into the store with you. Wanda hadn't celebrated Hanukkah since before losing her parents, she never forgot about it and always lit 8 candles in her menorah, one candle each night. You let Wanda have her moment each night when she'd lit a candle, knowing she was thinking about the family she missed dearly. This year, you wanted to dip your toe in the water and see if Wanda would be open to celebrating her holiday this year and save Christmas celebrations for when you both were with the team.

"Look how cute these mugs are!" you commented as you showed Wanda navy blue mug with illustrations of cats playing with Hanukkah related decorations and with it was a dreidel inside the mug. "I'm getting us one each" you said before grabbing a basket. Wanda was overwhelmed in your excitement as she watched you wander around the store picking up anything you thought Wanda would love. The smile on her face was too hard to hide as the basket became full with Hanukkah related items.

"Ooo, we have to get this cookbook!" You turned to Wanda, holding a traditional Hanukkah cookbook. "You're so adorable!" Wanda replied, pulling you into her arms, not caring about the basket being in the way as she placed several kisses on your lips, "I take it you do want to celebrate Hanukkah this year?" you smiled softly against her lips. For the first time in years, Wanda was excited to celebrate a holiday that meant so much to her. "I'd love too" she replied before grabbing another basket, "what else do we need?" you asked.

Wanda walked around the store, taking her time to look at everything that was on the shelves, picking up things she remembered having in her home as a child. Everything from tablecloths, kitchenware, wall hangings, string lights, Hanukkah gnomes, to throw pillows. Wanda thought she may have gone a little overboard, but you assured her that this wouldn't be the only year you celebrated Hanukkah with her.

"I can't wait to start cooking things from this book!" you said in the car on the way home, Wanda chuckled and placed her free hand in yours, "How about we cook things together? We don't need another accident like last year when you tried to make a mince pie" she replied. "Oh come on, that wasn't exactly my fault" you smirked, the memory of the overburnt pie almost catching on fire because you got distracted by a crime documentary that had started. Wanda came home and instantly freaked out when she saw the smoke coming from the oven.

"Babe, you can't blame the online recipe for that" Wanda chuckled once more. You told her that the recipe had said to leave the pie in the oven for over an hour, but Wanda quickly pointed out that it clearly said 15-20 minutes or until golden. Since then, Wanda usually is close by whenever you're cooking. "In my defence, the documentary was very interesting, in fact, I wonder if they ever found the other victims" you replied, your mind thinking about the documentary.

Once home, you and Wanda started to decorate the home with the new items, the home starting to feel like her childhood home and Wanda couldn't help but kiss you every chance she got. "Thank you for allow me to celebrate this holiday" she spoke softly when the decorations were up, "Of course baby, this will happen every year, I wish we had of done this last year. I can see it means a lot to you" you replied, brushing a lot of her beautiful red hair out of her face, "you mean a lot to me" Wanda smiled softly before kissing you softly once more.
