You can find all 31 days of my 2022 Fili whimptober fics here! I’ll be bringing them out day by day and I hope you enjoy. These will probably just something short (400 words to 1000 words) unless I feel motivated as I write.

Please understand that these fics depict forms of physical, emotional and psychological violence and/or pain and may not be for everyone. 🦋🌸💀(reader) -Fili finds you after a battle at the Blue Mountains and keeps you company as you pass on to the halls of the maker.

Day 4- Dead on your feet - Shotgun Shells and Glass

⚔️Fili remembers just how he found out zombies were real.

Day 5- Every whumpiee’s needs -Your Good Boy

🦋🌸 You kidnap Fili in an attempt to ransom him back to the royal family for gold. The ransom is quickly forgotten when your prisoner begs you to let him stay.

Day 6- Proof of life - Nightmares

🥲 🌸 Fili survives the war, but barely. Recovery is hard and long. After a nasty nightmare, Fili tries his best to prove he’s OK to his one and he’s not going anywhere.

Day 7- The way you shake and shiver - Gold broken (part 1)

⚔️ Fili is chained and whipped in the throne room for defying a gold sickened Thorin.

Day 8- Everything hurts and I’m dying - Safe and Sound by my Brother’s Side

⚔️ 🥲 💀 (fili and kili) Fili and Kili die in the battle of the five armies they way they lived. Together. (this is based from a head cannon I made about the song safe and sound from the hunger games hence the song. read about it here)

Day 9- The very noisy night -Thunderstorms and Kisses

🦋🌸 The thunderstorm outside sounds far to similar to the battle for Fili. Narni helps him through it.

Day 10- Poor unfortunate souls - Gold Broken (part 2)

🥲 (soft) Fili struggles with recovery and the realization that something needs to be done to stop his uncle.

Day 11- “911 what’s your emergency?” - Amad Help

🦋❤️‍🩹 Little Fili has to protect his brother when they wonder away from their mother at the markets

Day 12- What could go wrong - Frustrations (part 1)

❤️‍🩹 Having received the worst wounding out of the company during the war, Fili is given the safest, easiest job in the mountain. What could go wrong?

Day 13- Cant make an omelette without breaking a few legs - Of Gold and Lust

🦋❤️‍🩹 Thorin dies on the quest and Fili leads the company to the mountain. It is Fili who suffers from the gold sickness and is willing to sacrifice Dain’s army for his gold.

Day 14- Die a hero or live long enough to become a villain - Gold Broken (part 3)

❤️‍🩹 Fili is forced to make a choice. His uncle or his kingdom.

Day 15- Emotional damage - Healing

❤️‍🩹 🌸 Fili screams himself awake years after the battle of the five armies, and in a struggle with his nightmares, accidentally hurts his one.

Day 16- No way out - Caught, Not Broken (part 1)

⚔️ Fili is kidnapped and beaten

Day 17- Hanging by a thread - Cruelly Hung

⚔️ A young Fili find out just how cruel humans can be to dwarves when he is hung by his hands and left to die.

Day 18- Lets break the ice - Caught, Not Broken (part 2)

⚔️ Fili has been shackled and beaten, but doesn’t break until his whumper reveals their face. A very familiar face.

Day 19- Enough is enough - Ghosts

🦋❤️‍🩹 🥲 (for the reader) 💀 (Kili, Thorin, Vili and Frerin) Kili knows his brother has been through a lot, but the drinking needs to stop. It’s a bit hard to convince him however, when he can’t even hear your voice.

Day 20- It’s been a long day Carried to Safty - Stolen Away

🦋🌸 After a long and grueling council session, Fili’s one saves him.

Day 21- Famous last words - Off With Their Head

🦋⚔️ 🥲 💀 (OC) “Pathetic” was the last word his childhood bully had spat at him as he left him lying beaten in the street. Now Fili was king, and as he sat on his throne, said bully kneeling before him begging for forgiveness, all he can do is sneer and spit one word. “Pathetic”.

Day 22- Pick your poison - Merry Berry Pollen

⚔️ After stumbling into a toxic flower on the quest, Fili loses his mind and attacks his brother.

Day 23- At the end of their rope - The Old Gods

🦋❤️‍🩹 🌸 After raiding an orc camp Fili finds a girl chained up and terrified. There something strange about her though.

Day 24- Fight, flight or freeze - Frustrations (part 2)

⚔️ After the cave in narrowly misses a still injured Fili, he struggles to survive.

Day 25- Silence is golden - Shut Up Durin

❤️‍🩹 Fili is forced to stay silent by his abusers as to not wake up him brother that is asleep next to him

Day 26- No one left behind - The Only Question That Matters

⚔️ 🥲 💀 (Every one in the company but Fili) Fili is the only survivor of the company and deals with the survivor’s guilt for the rest of his life.

Day 27- Pushed to the limit - Knives and Restraints

🦋❤️‍🩹 🌸 ❤️‍🔥 Everyone knows Fili has a knife kink, but his one finds out just how far he pushes the boundaries of pleasure and pain.

Day 28- It’s just the tip of the iceberg Forced to watch - Watch Me Dance

❤️‍🩹 Fili takes too long to ask the girl to dance and has to watch her dance with someone else.

Day 29- What doesn’t kill me... - Frustrations (part 3)

❤️‍🩹 Fili wakes up after the rock slide to find the consequences of the accident.

Gold-Sick

Thorin Oakenshield x Reader

Summary: Thorin's sickness was getting worse by the day.

As you stood there and looked at yourself in your gold gown, you felt utterly lost.

Dwalin did warn you about this sickness that overtook Thorin. You knew, yet this was worse than you could have ever imagined.

It all started when you entered the mountain.

Thorin's confession and promise of eternal love came as a surprise, yet you accepted his love. You felt the same way about him for a long while now.

Ever since you first saw him in that blacksmith workshop.

And now, he called you his Queen as he sat upon his throne, calling out for you to join him while the others looked for the stone.

He requested for you to change as he had placed a dress in your room.

The door behind you opened and in came Bilbo. With tears in your eyes, you looked at him.

"You have it." you whispered and he nodded once. "Give it to Gandalf, or the Elf King, I do not care but this... man, is not my Thorin." you said as he nodded once more and you exited your room heading to the throne room.

You dried your tears before Thorin could see and offered him a smile.

"My Queen! My gorgeous Queen, dripping in jewels and gold as you deserve." he said as his hand moved to your face and his other to your waist.

You held back your tears and leaned in to kiss him.

He twirled you around, but he wasn't admiring you, no, he was looking at the gold.

You begged for this to end soon.

"Thorin! We must help them!" all of the dwarves begged but Thorin didn't listen.

"Are you against me as well?" he looked at you and you looked at the floor. "TRAITOR!" he yelled which made you jump.

You finally had enough.

"You are not the dwarf I fell in love with! Not the King I followed here! Not the man I want!" you said before you turned and got ready for battle with tears running down your cheeks.

On your way out you did see Dwalin enter the room, you only hoped he would put some sense into Thorin.

You were out of breath as you ran.

The fight was over and you have won.

But where was Thorin and Bilbo? Kili and Fili?

You asked Gandalf but he just smiled and as you turned, there they all were. Thorin, injured yet alive. Kili was in bad shape and so was Fili but they will survive.

You rushed over to Thorin, hugging him close as he groaned but soon stopped with his complaint.

You pulled back and looked at him.

"Now, this is the dwarf I fell in love with." he smiled as you kissed him.

"Marry me." he said when you pulled back to catch some air.

"I thought you would never ask." you said with a laugh as everyone around you cheered and celebrated.

It was so much better to get ready for a wedding than a funeral.

How the Dwarfs show PDA

Thorins company x gn!reader

Warnings: an insane amount of fluff, implied smut

Thorin

Being the King of Erebor meant that he had a lot of responsibility on his plate. Even before the Dwarfs defeated Smaug and reclaimed Erebor, he wasn’t overly affectionate publicly; that didn’t change once he re-built his kingdom. Kissing is a no go, but instead he would just always have you hold onto his arm as you walked, or vise versa. But when you’re alone in your shared chambers, its like he can’t get enough of you. Thats when he always makes up for the lack of attention and affection that he can’t openly show like he wants to, but if he sees someone flirting with you then thats thrown out of the window; literally. He will pull you up onto his throne and make-out with you infront of everyone if he wants to… and he has… many times. But most of the time; not very into PDA.

Fíli

Like his Uncle, he has a lot of responsibilities since he’s the heir to the throne. But he doesn’t let that stop him. Once he’s done with his daily duties as the prince of Erebor, he gives you his undivided attention and affection. He always makes sure you’re able to stretch your legs, so he usually like to take late night walks through the mines as you two attempt to not be seen by the guards. One time though you did get caught doing… something. But that’s a story for another day and time. Sometimes he will literally just slip away from the meetings to go and be with you but only if Kíli is there to cover for him. He doesn’t have a problem with showing you how much he adores and loves you, even if that means getting his head chewed off by Thorin for skipping his royal duties.

Kíli

This man is literally the definition of PDA. He doesn’t have as many duties as his brother so he gets to spend his free time with you. He doesn’t care who watches you two as you walk through the halls of Erebor with his arm tucked tight around your shoulders; paired with a proud grin on his face that reads “yeah thats right they’re mine”. He doesn’t care if his Uncle scolds him for it, you’re his one. He tends to pepper kisses all over your face at random times, which inturn makes you incredibly flustered, sometimes his own brother has to pry him off of you. He’s just a lovey-dovey type of boyfriend and he is not afraid to show it to the whole Kingdom of Erebor.

Dwalin

Not a fan of PDA at all. However, if he sense that you’re having an off day, or if he sees someone openly flirting with you…. well then it’s like he’s a whole new person. He’ll pull you into his chest as he rubs circles on your back, giving the person that was attempting to flirt with you a death glare and grinning when he watches them basically shit their pants and scramble away. If its the scenario where you’re having an off day he will find someone to cover for him most of the time with a threat before taking you back to your shared house as he gives you his undivided attention and affection. All in all; this man can quickly become the worlds biggest simp for you.

Bofur

Like Kíli, he’s the definition of PDA. As soon as he gets home from work he’s all over you; literally. He will physically jump on top of you if you’re ignoring him, especially after a long day in the mines. Which usually leads to you forcing him to get up off of you so you can fix him a bath. Even when you’re doing that, his hands are wrapped around your waist as his chin rests on top of your head. In public it doesn’t change, his fingers are laced with yours and he’s constantly finding an excuse to kiss you. You have something on your lips? Kiss. You turn to look at him? Kiss. He wants your attention? Multiple kisses. He just adores showing you how much he loves and cherishes you, even during the journey to reclaim Erebor.

The minutes felt like hours, and the hours seemed to drag on forever. As the stars passed overhead, and the very first signs of day drew near, a new kind of movement went across the town.

Dwalin x Reader

"No?"

"I-I'm sorry, I can't." you said as he looked at you with disbelief.

Dwalin just asked you one of the biggest questions a dwarf could, he wanted to court you and he asked for your permission to do so.

But...

How could you ever be good enough for such an amazing dwarf as Dwalin?

You being half drawf and half hobbit, you were not worthy.

"I don't understand why, Y/N. I thought our feelings were mutual."

"Dwalin, I'm so sorry. Really... but you are now- you have to think about your kin."

"My kin? What do you mean?"

"You are noble now, with Thorin as king..."

"You think I honestly care about that?"

"You should, Dwalin. It's your heritage, your kin, your future."

"Exactly. And I see you in my future, I see us. What, you want me to marry some noble dwarf who I don't know and care for? Would that be the future you want for me?"

"Of course not. but I'm half-blood. I'm not fully dwarf."

"In my eyes, it doesn't matter. You could be half fish for all I care. I love you, not for your blood but for who you are. You are the most beautiful, kind and amazing person. Do you honestly think I care about anything else? Do you think I care about what others would say?" Dwalin took a step as you took one back. You knew he didn't care, but someone will. And you would hate yourself for ruining his life because you were too selfish and wanted to keep him for yourself.

"I know you don't care Dwalin, I know that. But someone might, and how could I look into the mirror if I was to ruin your life?"

"You could never do such a thing. Only if you choose to leave me. You know well that dwarves once their find their life-time partner, they cannot forget them, so I beg you, My Love, do not reject me. Because if you do, I will never be happy with another."

"Dwalin, I do love you. You know that. But what if an elder brings up that I'm not fully a dwarf?"

"Then I shall chop their head off. No one can question my Queen."

He took another step, but this time when you didn't move he closed the gap, pulling you close.

"I love you, Y/N. Nothing and no one can change that."

And as he closed in for a deep, breath-taking kiss, you couldn't stand your ground any longer. Everything came crashing down as his arms locked around your waist.
