Today's skeleton filling his water gun at a drinking fountain is from Emory University's 1987 yearbook.
It all connects: vintage skeleton imagery.
Wondering about this post? Wait for the dissertation (TBA).

I feel bad for everyone who has a weak drinking fountain.
Just know that it’s trying its best.

Cat stuff
I wanted to get a new fountain for the kids*, even though they do drink water a bit I’ve noticed Eddie licks the inside of the bowl or wets his paws and licks them. So I’m assuming he has issues with it.
I’ve had a plastic fountain in the past which my beautiful ginger boys, sadly no longer with us, loved but Sabrina just used to knock the whole thing over. So that was the end of fountains.
There are so many to choose from now and I was about to get another standard plastic thing and then saw this (kitteh not mine, for demonstration purposes only):
It’s ceramic! Looks heavy as fuck, which is exactly what I need. Goes in the dishwasher and all the spare parts seem to be readily available. I’ve watched a couple of reviews on YouTube and it looks good. I will report back on my findings once it turns up, I think I have a few kitty people following me.
Price… eurgh. Yeah, fucking expensive. I’m in the UK, the fountain is £79.99, but I bought cleaning brushes and spare filters etc. which are very reasonably priced so upkeep shouldn’t be too expensive. The two reviews I watched were by US owners so it’s definitely available there.
*cats to everyone else, but they’re my babies godammit!
