i think if we learned one thing from todays hermitcraft stream is that they absolutely cannot watch a movie together. Doc wants everyone to surpress their laughter at funny scenes, Ren will go rabid when you ask him anything or take his popcorn, then everyone will be mad at Joe for choosing a movie he described as extremely funny when it is actually very tragic all the while Cleo laughs only at inappropriate moments

realistically I'm expecting tango or possibly cub(?) being the one to save him, but also. I'm just imagining doc finding out somehow that tango intends to go into the depths and just. going in his stead. that would be one hell of a way to be introduced to doc
