Just felt the need to drop in, because if you type in the genre you want - especially cute couple stuff - then you can find things that help with one shot ideas!! Like the whole trend of stepping back from the camera and the boyfriend walking by and grabbing them? I'm working on a one-shot like that because it's just so jealous!enzo coded.

OMG I have gotten a tiktok from an oomf once and it did inspire me to write one of my fics (love u oomf) but I’ve not gone back to tiktok for writing inspo since!!

probably bc I try to stay away from booktok as it’s only ever tricked me into thinking books are good when they’re the worst things I’ve ever had the misfortune to read (shatter me, acotar etc) or they’re always promoting books like haunting adeline or colleen hoover books (my worst enemy)

BUT I will fully go back and try and curate a perfect fyp for cute vids and prompts only!! This was very helpful thank u!!

You sit cross-legged on Theo's bed, a book resting on your lap as you read. Your boyfriend’s head rests against your legs, his fingers idly tracing circles on your skin. Every now and then, he looks up at you with adoration in his eyes, his gaze lingering on your face before drifting back down to your thighs.

He's always been like this—unable to resist the urge to touch you, especially your thighs. And you don't mind one bit. In fact, you find his affectionate gestures endearing, a constant reminder of how much he loves every part of you. Well, especially this one part.

As you reach the end of the chapter, you close the book and set it aside, turning your attention to Theo. His eyes meet yours, a soft smile playing at the corners of his lips.

"You have the most beautiful thighs," he says, his voice filled with genuine admiration.

You fluster at his words even though he has told you that he loves your thick thighs many times before. "You really think so?"

Theo nods, reaching out to gently caress them with his fingertips. "Absolutely. I could spend hours just touching them."

You giggle at his earnestness, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of his head. "You're ridiculous, Theo."

He looks up at you with a playful glint in his eyes. "Maybe so, as long as I get to touch."

You laugh, leaning in to capture his lips in a tender kiss. He tastes like chocolate and mint, and it's intoxicating. You pull away after a few moments, but not far enough for you to break contact entirely. Your foreheads rest together, and you sigh, savouring the moment.

And then you immediately feel his hands slide back to your legs and playfully roll your eyes. You push his hands off and he chuckles, looking almost amused. Almost. You know that look—he's definitely plotting something.

Before you have the chance to figure it out however, he has already pushed you back onto the bed, trailing kisses down your clothed torso until reaching the soft flesh of your thighs, planting one last kiss right below the hem of your shorts before biting down.

Your breath hitches at first, but you soon melt back into the mattress when he starts nipping softly. You let out a quiet whimper of pleasure, arching into his touch. His hand travels upward, his thumb rubbing little circles through the cotton covering your core. Your body relaxes completely, your breath coming out shallow.

His hand slides beneath the hindering material and moves upwards slightly, teasingly brushing over your clit. Theo grins when you suck in a sharp breath through your teeth, his other hand squeezing where it still rests on your thigh. "Not pushing me away this time, huh, pretty girl?"

Obviously my blog name is darkacademicvibes and there is a story behind that, but that's for another time, but you can call me:

Any pet name! (I use pet names for literally anyone and I'm comfortable with being called things like love, babes, sweetheart, any of that stuff!)

Because they make me and others happy! I enjoy writing, and if I can make others happy with my words than I wanna share!

Do you have any stomachache/cramps/period pain remedies?

I get asked this a lot for some reason but I'm not shy about admitting that I have NASTY periods. Not as bad as other people who have bad periods but still pretty painful, especially because pain killers are useless on me. Here are my main remedies because I thinks it's plain cruel to gatekeep these and I'm excited to hopefully help you cope!

Sore throat - literally just tea! One sugar, black tea, milk, and half a teaspoon of honey mixed in completely. It's soothing and nice and sweet.

Cramps - a heat pack and a damp cloth! Put the heat pack on your stomach, or whatever hurts the most and put the washcloth on your forehead, try taking a nap. It doesn't work all the time, and sometimes it only works a little, but at least it's something.

Nausea - ginger!!! Anything with ginger in it! I know it sounds horrible because ginger is so potent, and it sucks as someone who gets really sick on my period and hates the taste of ginger, but literally anything helps. Ginger and cinnamon tea, pasta with ginger in it, ANYTHING!

Mood swings - my go to for being super emotional is warm milk or a lukewarm hot chocolate. Anything that brings comfort, really. Usually I give my roommate warm milk when she can't sleep because it's what my mum gave me, I put in a little cinnamon, a couple drops of vanilla essence as it simmers and put it into a mug. It's not a real remedy but it's soothing.

Puking - less of a remedy, I think, but when you've finished throwing up, flush the toilet before this, lean over to loo and rub your stomach firmly, make sure to drink water as well and take a moment before you get up. It settles your stomach a little, make sure you can feel the pressure on your stomach, but it shouldn't hurt you!!

Cold sweats - a warm damp cloth over your forehead, it'll warm you up a little and then as it slowly cools to dry, it should stop the sweating. Change and take a nap because damn hun, it's deserved if you have cold sweats.

Sore joints - pressure. Like, full body pressure. One time, my roommate lay on top of me, literal perfection, I felt so much better after 20 minutes of nonstop, comfortable, pressure.

Migraines - very soft, almost muted, music. Something like Lana Del Rey, or Claire Young. Have some pain killers, a warm cup of tea, make sure it's dark, turn of the music and try to sleep. The only remedy I have for these, sadly, is comfortable sleep. As someone very migraine prone (doctors literally gave me meds for it) the only thing I can tell you is to sleep and then have a comforting meal after. Pasta, lasagne, Mac and cheese, cottage pie, even if it's ordered, or leftovers, something simple and cozy is good.

Dizzy spells - if you can, LOTS of rest, and (mainly) ginger. Ginger, rest, and lots of water. Water to the point of peeing every 25 minutes, LOTS of it. Good luck.

Nose bleeds - tilt your head back and pinch the bridge of your nose gently, once it's stopped, rest and water, again. But also, chocolate and pasta. Not together, obviously, but have some pasta with ginger in it (because ginger is good for you, even if you don't have Dizzy spells or Nausea), and then a chocolate snack before a nap.

Mattheo Riddle x Pregnant!Reader Headcanons

part one - part two

♢ During the last couple of weeks of the pregnancy, Mattheo is a mess. He's checking if your bag is still packed and ready multiple times a day and whenever you're in the tiniest amount of pain he's trying to drag you to the hospital even when you're telling him it's fine.

♢ When you're water actually breaks he's freaking out, running all over the place afraid he's forgetting something while you're waiting and ready to go at the door. On the way to the hospital he's calling Theo, instructing him to let everybody know it's finally happening.

♢ As someone who used to get into a lot of fights and is no stranger to being in pain, he's completely overwhelmed if you're the person who's hurting.

♢ He's trying so hard to calm you down, thinking he's looking so relaxed. Meanwhile he's definitely the one panicking.

♢ During the birth he's at your side the whole time, holding your hand and telling you to squeeze it as tight as you need to while stroking your hair with his other hand. He's also definitely hoping no one notices how much his hands are shaking.

♢ Mattheo would be reassuring you the whole time, telling you how good you're doing and how strong and brave you are. He'll try to distract you by talking about all the things you're going to do with the baby once you're back home, already planning trips for the next couple of years.

♢ Watching you in pain makes him seriously reconsider wanting another kid, not wanting to put you through this again (when he finally gets to hold his baby this changes again and he can't wait for another one).

♢ He would probably get mad at the staff in the room, thinking they're not doing their jobs right because surely you're not supposed to be in that much pain, right??

♢ When they hand him the baby for the first time he's immediately so in love with it, just staring at it and tearing up (he will deny this later). In that moment he swears to himself that he will never let anything happen to your child and that he'll do his hardest to be the best dad ever.

♢ Later you have to convince him that you're fine as you're lying in bed cuddling with your baby and it takes a lot to finally get him out of the room so he can go tell his friends (who have been pacing in the waiting room the whole time) that everything went well.

Protective Mattheo Riddle x pregnant!Reader Headcanons

part one - part two

♢ When you first told Mattheo you were pregnant, he was terrified. He had never even really thought about having kids and believed he could never be a good father. Still, he didn't think about leaving you to deal with this on your own for even a second. And after much reassuring on your part, telling him how much better of a father than his own he would be, and promising that the both of you were in this together, he found himself growing excited, swearing to you and himself that he would be the best dad ever.

♢ He actually went and bought a ton of books on pregnancy and childcare, waving you off when you joked about this being the first time you've seen him reading voluntarily. He'd even got a notebook to mark down everything he thought important.

♢ Mattheo had always been protective of you, but after you told him about being pregnant, it was as if a switch was flipped in his brain. At first he didn't let anyone anywhere near you, not even your friends. You had to have a talk with him about it and he calmed down a little. He still kept a very close eye on you whenever other people were around, especially when you were out in public.

♢ He wouldn't let you do anything taxing anymore. He'd take over the house chores completely, maybe even making his friends help if it got too much for him, but you were not allowed to move a finger. He made sure to make the pregnancy as easy and comfortable as possible for you, even though you complained about it: "I'm pregnant, not incapable, Mattheo."

♢ Princess treatment turned up to 100! He'd run to get any food you're craving, help you in the shower, massage your feet every night and there would be fresh flowers waiting for you every single week.

♢ Whenever you were insecure after your bump started showing, concerned about your weight or stretch marks or whatever, he would have a whole speech prepared to let you know how beautiful you were and how much he loves you.

♢ Also him singing or reading out loud to the bump every night before bed because he read that it's good for the baby. Also because he wants the baby to know his voice.

♢ He recuted all of his friends to make sure everything was ready, having them help preparing the nursery the way you wanted it and baby-proofing the whole house. He probably told them whoever helped the most would get to be the godfather, even though the two of you knew the most logical choice would be Blaise.
