The Best College Parties are the Ones that You Leave Early by MariMoon812 (T, 3k) For a moment they just started at each other as Crowley’s spinning head tried to comprehend what, exactly, was happening. Was this one of the professors? No, he clearly wasn’t that old, but then why was he dressed like that? Was it a hipster thing? Did the guy also have an antique typewritter that he used to write history papers? What? Why was he just staring at him? Just as Crowley was beginning to short circuit, the boy squinted at him and leaned forward slightly. “Erm…” “Why are you wearing sunglasses?” “Huh?”

Seven Minutes In Hell by AppleSeeds (T, 4k) Being trapped in a cupboard with the guy he has such an intense crush on he can hardly speak to him is bad enough, but things get even worse for Crowley when he starts having a panic attack and Aziraphale sweetly comforts and cares for him.

Hanging By a Moment by NaroMoreau (E, 5k) Sometimes the best thing is to leave. Fresh slate and all that. For Crowley, it seems like the only option, having fallen hopelessly in love with his best friend. Who, absolutely, definitely doesn't feel the same. Does he?

Raspberry Ripple by FeralTuxedo (T, 9k) Every afternoon, a man in a velvet waistcoat sits on the bench by the stone fountain and eats ice cream. Every afternoon, Crowley watches him from his office window. One day, he’ll pluck up the courage to talk to him.

Secrets by AppleSeeds (M, 10k) When their housemates invite friends around, Crowley and Aziraphale get roped into a game called 'Secrets'. Having played the game before and therefore knowing what might happen, Crowley tries to manipulate the outcome to protect Aziraphale, who is feeling pretty uncomfortable about the whole thing. By the end of the night, however, some secrets will inevitably end up being revealed, but not all of them in the way that Crowley expected.

Just Around the Corner by accidentaldemon (M, 11k) "I don't live far, if you, ya know, don't mind sharing a bed." He swallowed thickly. This was definitely not how he had planned his evening to pan out. “I’m Crowley, by the way. Well, Anthony Crowley technically, but I prefer Crowley.” “Aziraphale." - All Crowley wants to do is leave the party and go home to study. But then he meets a cute boy with absolutely angelic curls who's in desperate need of a bed for the night.

The Summoning by AppleSeeds (M, 15k) Aziraphale's horrible university housemates convince him to accompany them to an old, supposedly haunted, abbey on Halloween. He's not worried about ghosts, Aziraphale is pretty sure they don't really exist, but when his housemates send him into the toilets alone to perform a ritual that's intended to summon a demon, Aziraphale can't help but be afraid. Surely it's not that easy though. Surely a demon won't just appear because he asked it to? Will it?

There really wasn't much he can complain about. Mining on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080: profitability | Hashrate | Specs - As soon as Zhen-Sun Huang or Lisa Su announce the release of a new line of video cards, miners perk up their spirits talking about the new "king of mining" and the killer of ASICs. Although, to be honest, old models such as Rx 570 (8GB) and GTX 1080 Ti still remain relevant devices for assembling mining farms. Today we will talk about another miracle of technology from the company Nvidia rtx 3080. Mining on this video card seems to promise a high profit and unfortunate gamers are panicking about the soaring prices. In their opinion, the root of all evil is mining. The card 3080 is so coveted and desired by the gamer, it can be captured by the evil gnomes and disappear in the cryptomines. “We are going to the Crusade. A good miner is a dead miner, ”they scream at every site. Well, okay, we're not talking about them now, but about the new green GeForce RTX 3080 video card and its effectiveness in mining cryptocurrencies. RTX 3080 Graphics Specifications Let's first look at the technical parameters of the gpu rtx 3080 in order to understand why Zhen-Sun Huang and the company is pulling so much money from us, and why the first batch of these cards was crushed in a matter of hours. For clarity, let's compare the new model with the previous flagship rtx 2080. As the author of the publication writes, and this is the forum moderator known by the nickname ValeraTV, for efficient mining on the RTX 3080, you need to set the following overclocking parameters: - Power Limit 75; - Core Clock 0; - Memory Clock 1000. Tests were carried out on a Palit RTX 3080 GamingPro video card. The RTX 3080 VENTUS X3 was overclocked to 103 Mh / s with the following parameters: - Power Limit 76; - Core Clock 0; - Memory Clock 1500. I must say that not every RTX series gpu can be overclocked so much from memory, with a rather low power limit. But, on the other hand, the graphics adapters from the green themes are good because you don't need to mess with them for a long time when setting up mining, moved a couple of sliders and you're done. Of course, for advanced miners you can use Nvidiainspector, but with the RTX 3080, this program is most likely not friendly yet. You can try to reduce the voltage in the MSI Afterburner program using Curve on the website overclockers.ru they claim that they were able to achieve minus 50 watts, and reduce heat transfer without sacrificing performance. It took the following steps in the OC Scanner application: - Decrease the base frequency of the core by 291 MHz. - Increase the frequency in the selected voltage coordinate (800 mV) by 240 MHz. - Apply modified metrics in MSI Afterburner. Conclusion, relevance of investment Let's calculate the profit and decide whether to buy an rtx 3080 for mining. As of 02/11/2021, a card with a hash rate of 100 Mn / s on ETH brings $ 10.29 excluding the socket. That is, a mining farm of four RTX 3080 graphics adapters will work approximately 42$ net profit per day. Of course, the result will depend on the cost of electricity in your area and other circumstances. It takes about $ 10,000 to equip such a farm, which means the payback period is 8 months... Although in reality it can take a year and a half, or it can be halved. On thematic forums, miners argue which is more profitable to buy one 3080 card or three 1660Super cards for mining. My story

I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful anthology! My story is "The Case of the Man Who Wasn't Dead": Modern-era medium Sherlock Holmes solves the murders of the dead who contact her via her spirit guide, Jane Watson, a nurse who died in 1944.

“You don’t have to be so rude,” Jane said. The light from the kitchen window didn’t affect her, didn’t set her red curls aglow or brighten her pale skin. But she was unfailingly lovely all the same, in that white sundress, with her hair swept back from her face and her lips bright red. If Jane were alive today, Sherlock thought, she’d probably be a fan of glitter lipstick, going around looking like she’d kissed one of Dorothy’s ruby slippers.

Sherlock did attempt not to make a habit of thinking about Jane Watson kissing things.

Summary:

Aziraphale and Crowley engage in time travel shenanigans with the aid of the Bermuda Triangle.

But oh, Crowley was beautiful like this, his legs askew as if his body had been seized in mid-step by the couch, but his hands and fingers graceful with a wine glass, even in a tipsy state. It was shadowy in the bookshop now and Crowley’s hair looked dark, its brightness cloaked like all the rest of the lights in London.

“I won’t let anything happen to you,” Aziraphale said gently to his companion who’d taken shelter with him here behind the blackout curtains, drinking his wine and clearing the dust from the shelves when he thought Aziraphale wasn’t looking. It felt like Crowley was Aziraphale’s precious ember of firelight kept hidden from everyone else.

My story

My mother and I loved the poem “The Highwayman” by Alfred Noyes, and I jumped at the chance to write Bess a better ending. In my story “Love Knot,” I gave her five minutes’ notice of the soldiers’ arrival, and she did the rest.

King George’s men saw Samuel only as a highwayman, a rogue, a thief. They knew his rich clothes, but not how they smelled of sun and sweat and the cold road. They knew the weapons beneath his coat, but not how he liked to use his rapier to cut apples from a tree, how he would flash his shiny pistols at the children who gathered to hear his stories of daring battles for yellow gold. They knew he’d given a confession of love to Bess. They didn’t know what it had sounded like in the earnest voice of a boy who was then only eight years old.

Putting the phantom in phantom island. Perhaps a certain island is a gathering place for phantoms of all kinds: ghosts of the drowned from vessels lost in the area, sea monsters, wormholes through space/time, zombies, or demons. Perhaps someone has literally cursed the place, or maybe it’s the site of an evil relic or graveyard of the damned. It could even be the home port of the ghost ship Flying Dutchman.
