Community Center of Sequoia

The community center of Sequoia is placed on a 64x64 lot and is divided into four parts, the community center, a community garden, a small park where you can play football, do yoga or play chess and a small swimming pool with an ice cream parlour. The community center has four floors. There is plenty of space to play, read, paint and make music. There is also a small band room where young people can meet and a spacious café.

Personally, considering there’s little mushroom trees that will sometimes spawn… I found the bats to be the most useful choice of investment to have made PLUS to mention, it’s helped me with adding to the community center, having more options for keg/preserve jars, gifts etc ☺️ also if you choose to increase your skill sets for foraging then the fruit you get from choosing the bats in the farm cave is also a nice form of passive income 💰 ( My personal opinion on why I believe the cave bats are best )

Sakeshita Community Center & Lounge/Cafe

Location: Shimoda, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan Timestamp: 16:58 on June 6, 2023

Constructed in the year 1857, this building showcases Shimoda’s distinctive architectural blend with stone walls adorning its lower half and namako-kabe (海鼠壁) walls gracing its upper portion. Repurposed as a community center for the local neighborhood association, it serves as a meeting place for discussions on topics such as garbage pick-up regulations, festival timetables, and other essential topics that directly impact the local community.

Beyond its role as a community center, the building flourishes as a delightful café offering an array of beverages and local seafood delicacies. The café also houses a curated collection of art books to enjoy.

Although the sign on the door frame says that the shop is open for business, it was actually closed. My border collie and I ended up taking a short rest in front of the shop before continuing on our exploration.

Tiny Town Challenge: Cyprus Handyman

I am not the greatest at CAS, but I tried to make Cyprus a bit closer to an Aboriginal Australian and based the house off the farmhouse style found in rural Aus. Through his yard sale, where Cyprus sold his homemade sculptures and candles, a beautiful lady in orange caught his attention. She eventually moved in and they had a son, Linden Handyman, together.

Like the previous two sims, he was able to use his leftover money to contribute a kitchen and bathroom to the community centre, as well as donate his selling table.
