Will I get roasted if I admit that I don’t think Bloodborne has hardly any deliberate villains with the exception of Micolash? Because that’s what I think…
And I’ll admit, when I first played through Bloodborne, after all the hell (mostly Yahar’gul) I went through before getting to the Nightmare of Mensis, meeting Micolash felt like meeting The One Responsible. He was goofy, yes…but he also gave me the heaviest sense of dread…I can’t explain it. I just got this gut feeling that he was utterly deranged and terrifying.

Tbf isn’t every character super fanonized on ao3? Every time I see Cass be demoted to family therapist, Dick reduced to the happy sunshine boy, or Jason be an abuser with pit madness I want to scream. It’s often untagged also so that just makes it worse 😭
yeah :( i try so hard to avoid super fanony interpretations of characters and its basically impossible bc the nature of the bat fandom is that youre always going to stumble onto a fic written by someone thats never opened a comic </3
i think the main reason i dont like fanonized tim is that um. i dont like tim. jkjk hes alright in the actual comics but i dont really care much about him so when i see fanfics being like "poor uwu timmy got hurt 🥺" or "silly tim is so super smarter than everyone 😝" it makes me hate him more and want to kill

like i don't know how to tell you people that sometimes people don't want to smell weed and that's not prudish or harshing your vibe or whatever. some people have quit marijuana usage and the smell is triggering. some people have medical issues that make it hard to deal with. some people just plain don't like the smell! and that's fine! literally just take an edible it's NOT hard.

My therapist gave me a few coping methods that are similar in design to basic banishing and groundings. How does a constructive and will driven mind compare to magic?
I call this one the Body Exorcism:
1. Feel an emotion
2. Where is the emotion?
3. What sensation does the emotion bring?
4. What is this emotion (The Naming)?
5. Feel the emotion
6. Let thoughts float by
7. Send emotion into the lower belly
8. Send the emotion down the legs
9. Let the emotion melt into the earth
Sphere of Emotional Distance:
If you cannot be physically distant from a problem person, you can always be emotionally distant.
You can visualize a sphere around you that nothing can penetrate but what you Will, or just learn to shut off your emotions towards a particulal person/issue.
I use both of these on a regular basis to greater or lesser effect. The more balanced I am mentally the more I notice my life flowing in the general direction I want. Sometimes I think of a small desire and it comes to pass with no more then a thought. I notice bigger changes need bigger efforts. I can't think away a bad work environment, and so I add some sigils and energy breaking tactics and notice the environment slowly shifts.
Little magics create little results, but results are results, are they not?
