in my head the star wars equivalent of tswift is some human woman named tay’lor spiff or something and her stans are losing their minds over theories that she’s secretly a jedi singing about the horrors of war, even though she’s from a neutral system that hasn’t seen so much as a moral panic in 50 years

i’m not crazy about this one tbh like it’s fine but it’s not my favorite. i do think it was incredibly brave though that in a world of terrible book adaptions terry pratchett was willing to write an unadaptable book satirizing making movies.

i like this book a lot but it does kind of feel like the end of the series what with a lot of kind of overarching character plots ending in a relatively nice little bow. i don’t know if it is but i’m not surprised osman is moving into a different series past this one tbh.

objectively hilarious. what is ibrahim’s tragic backstory? it’s that he was gay in the 1960s. which i predicted back in book 1 when he was like i never had time for a wife :) and i was like ah.
