Too Late
Tumblr media
Warnings: Angst, character death.
You knock on Levi's room while your heart is beating loudly with excitement and nervousness.
Today you're here to confess your love to him.
You love him a lot... Crazily.... So madly that if he insults you even a little, you wanna cry like hell. Maybe he understands that because you noticed he doesn't act rough or rude around you. Not to mention he always inspects if you're getting a proper meal three times a day, getting enough sleep, maintaining cleanliness and all.... Also he always seems to save you whenever you're in danger.....
These things gave you hope because he never does these things with anyone else but you. Maybe he likes you? Maybe he'll accept your feelings? Because you don't know what'll you do if he rejects you.
"Name and business!"
You are pulled out of your thoughts when you hear his rough voice. You speak nervously as always.
"Y/N, captain. Need to discuss something with you."
"Come in and make it quick!"
He replies calmly as you enter his room. He's sitting on his chair, doing paperwork. He's looking handsome as always.... In your eyes he's always handsome.... You gulp nervously as Levi looks directly at your face and you start speaking as clearly as you can.
"Captain, I just wanted to thank you for being caring towards me and for always protecting me...."
You look at him as you try to speak those three words but they won't just come out of your damn mouth. You're too nervous.
"I'm just doing my duty. Are you finished? If you're, then leave."
He says calmly and looks back into the papers as you gulp again. You feel your heart clenches a bit to his rude reply. So you take a deep breath and speak bluntly and quickly.
"Captain, I love you."
Levi's hand pauses on the paper as he slowly looks up at you. You try to search for some emotions in his face. But there are none.... He's looking nonchalant as always. You feel nervous as hell as his lips move. You wanna run away.... You don't wanna hear the words....
"Y/N, we're in a middle of a war, fighting for humanity. Our hearts are dedicated to humanity, not to some particular person. I've noticed you're a soft person so I decided to act kindly towards you because I hate tantrums and unnecessary problems. But it seems like you took my kindness into something else. I didn't expect that from you and I definitely don't appreciate it."
You flinch as you feel your eyes immediately tear up. You don't want to sob in front of him or even cry.... But you can't just stop.
"Did you not..... Ever.... Felt anything towards me?"
You ask as your head is hung low and tears keep falling shamelessly on your cheeks. You somehow manage to stop your sobs because you were always the type who cries silently.
"I don't like to repeat myself. I have told you, you took my kindness into something else."
You flinch again as you nod. You take your steps back.
"I'm sorry for wasting your precious time, captain. It won't happen again, I promise."
You say in a broken voice as you leave the room, closing it behind you.
Time skip
Levi clicks his tongue in frustration as he looks around for you. The expedition has ended and the scouts have temporarily been on a spot near the walls just to count the dead bodies and take a note of the missing peoples.
Levi feels his heart beating loudly as he can't find your face anywhere. During the expedition and due to the appearance of some abnormal titans the formation was broken and Levi lost you.
You weren't under his wings, his protection who knows what happened to you? He can't think of your death... He can't... He can't lose you.
"Levi! We have found Y/N"
He immediately looks at Erwin as he hears his voice but flinches. He doesn't like the look Erwin has on his face.
In this whole world only Erwin knows how much Levi loves you....
He glares at Erwin as Erwin looks at him sympathetically. Levi knows the news is bad.
"Don't give me that shitty look Erwin."
Levi hisses and walks towards the place where the new rows of dead bodies are being laid down. He immediately notices yours.... How can't he? You silky soft hair which he always loved is propping out of the white sheet which is covering your body.
He slowly walks towards your body as he kneels down and removes the white sheet from your face. You're laying comfortably, with your eyes closed.... It's like you're just sleeping comfortably in your barracks when he would just sneak into your room to check up on you.
But why is he's eyes tearing up? No... He definitely isn't the type of person to cry... Then why his tears are falling on your sleeping face?
Maybe because he has realised that he won't ever have the chance to tell you how much he loves you? Because he won't be able to apologise to you, explaining why he rejected you....
He won't be able to tell you that he thought you two still had enough time... He thought you were safe under his wings and he'll protect you until he'll get the chance to propose to you.... He won't be able to tell you how much he dreamt of marrying you, having children with you, spending his whole life with you...
He won't be able to tell you anything....
He covers your face with the sheet as he stands up. His face is stoic and cold and there's no signs of tears in his eyes. He's face is still the same as before as he walks towards his horse.
He never regretted his decision.... But sure as hell, he's regretting rejecting you and he always will....
He wishes he could just accept your feelings and tell you how crazily he loves you.
But it's too late now.
Too late to let you know how he feels.... Too late to save you.......

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Levi Ackerman finds himself plagued with nightmares. It was always like that though, since he could remember at least. Three to four nights a week he awakes in the middle of night dripping with sweat with his heart nearly beating out of his chest. He has grown used to the lack of sleep by now, it barely bugs him anymore.
That is, until he found someone to share his bed with.
You were his light, as dramatic and sappy as it sounds, and something he will never admit out loud. But it was true, finally in this dim world he finds himself in, you came crashing in, brighter than the sun. He had fallen for you in record time, and you, drawn to his stoic and feisty aura, came tumbling down after him.
It's been a year now since you've gotten together, and Levi swears the nightmares are getting less frequent.
Well, at least in the nights where you lay beside him. The nights where you hold him, and he has easier access to your heartbeat. The steady rhythm of your chest rising and falling. Alive.
He doesn't go into too much depth about the nightmares, but you know the general scene of them, usually relating back to his comrades deaths. He has mentioned that the recent ones involve you, and it makes your heart crumble for your beloved each time his voice cracks through the explanation. You don’t press too much on the matter – the nights he wakes up in a cold sweat, you are there to ease him back to sleep, reassuring that you and he are safe. He almost gets a full night of sleep with you around.
But alas, you aren’t all sunshine and rainbows, and neither is he. Nope, you happen to be one of the most erotic people have ever met (though, he hasn’t met many). A sick brat is what he calls you, or sometimes a disgusting pervert, if he’s feeling extra grumpy. The nicknames fly past your head, as you pepper his face with kisses. It was all in good spirit, is what you remind yourself at least.
“Soooo, Hange recommended–”
“No.”
You pout at the man, pulling away from his chest to glare at him. “You didnt even let me finish my sentence.”
His cold face doesnt let up, even if his eyes hold a playful light to them. “I am smart enough to recognize that anything having to do with Hange is a bad idea.”
You playfully hit his chest, and the man raises his eyebrows at you. A smile pulls at your lips, and Levi cant help but stare whimsically at you. It was unfair, really. “Fine, get on with it, brat.”
“How would you feel if I woke you up with a blow job?” His reaction is immediate, first shock, and then as a couple seconds go by he seems to be much more inclined to agree, but then finally settles on an scowl.
“Why were you talking to Hange about these things?”
You cock your head to the side, tapping on your chin. “Well, I mentioned that your nightmares have started again, and they told me that oral sex helps stop them. Something neurologically with your dick and brain? I don't know.”
He stares at you for a couple of seconds, bewildered at your explanation. But, he realizes quickly what is up, and he immediately pinches the bridge of his nose with a long sigh. “They are fucking with you, idiot. Just trying to get me laid. Hange has always been like that.”
Your face falls at the words, and Levi swears you managed to master the kicked puppy look. He grabs your hands and pulls you back onto his chest, rolling his eyes when you hum into his skin. The warmth brought him comfort, and he finds himself more at peace. “I mean…It won't help with the nightmares, but who would turn down waking up to a blowjob?” Levi mumbles into your hair, while rubbing his hands up and down your arms.
You twist to look up at him, the familiar grin back on your face. “Yeah?”
He scoffs at you, an embaressed blush coating his cheeks. “Just dont wake me up early, alright. Just gonna piss me off.”
He swears he can see you wagging a tail. “Of course, Captain!”
Tumblr media
Two weeks have gone by, and Levi has not woken up to your face anywhere near his dick. He has awoke to kisses along his cheeks, and neck, but that wasnt new, you were always disgustingly affectionate in your half awake state. He holds a content (half) smile for about ten seconds as he shuts the door of your room, only for it to drop when he sees Hange.
He wasnt the one to complain though, maybe you were just teasing him. You always did like to press his buttons. He wasn't going to give you the satisfaction of knowing he wants it. So, the dark haired man continues on, nightmares and all, through the weeks.
By the time a month came passing by, he knows that you forgot all about your stupid little promise – your stupid naive words that only worked to piss him off. He glared at you from across the halls for a whole week – never daring to actually show you real signs that he was upset. But after you accidentally caught him frowning at you from across the training grounds, he was immediately dragged back your shared rooms, and fucked lovingly, as you apolgized for everything you could think of that would piss the man off.
You didnt mention the blowjob, but Levi was content with the disheveled hair, and the hickeys and bite marks littering his body, so he forgives you.
He forgets about the blowjob after two months. You were more horny than usual, so the two of you were at it multiple times a week. He would end up too exhausted to hold any real dreams, including his nightmares.
Levi was okay with it.
Tumblr media
9 am. Levi, for the first time ever, was oversleeping. Of course when you woke up at 8 am, on your day off from training, and found your lover by your side, you couldnt help but be shocked. He was usually gone by 5 am to get to training.
But you heard him woke up multiple times in the middle of the night. The nightmares were back. His shaky hands wrapped around you, and he panted into your neck, trembling like you've never seen before. You don't know what triggered it, but Levi seemed to have a really bad night.
He deserves to sleep in. So, at fifteen past 8, you scamper to Erwins office and beg the commander for Levi to have a day off. He always did have a soft spot for you. For one, you brought happiness to humanities strongest, and also because his friend silently threatened him death if he was to mistreat you. Erwin agreed without much hesitation.
You crawl into bed next to your lover, and begin to trace his content face. At least the nightmares were gone for the night.
Then, the realization hits you. This was the perfect time for you to finally do as promised.
You waited months because you wanted Levi to forget about your words. Of course, you assumed he forgot them after a couple of days, paying no attention to your promise, but you waited it out just in case.
And now, the both of you dont have any plans today. A once in a lifetime experience, it has got to be.
So with one more glance at your lover, you kiss his cheek, hold back a small giggle, and slowly remove the blanket from his lap. Then, you slide yourself down on the bed, and carefully manevuer yourself in between his legs. He doesnt sleep with much attire, growing hot in the night. Plus with the addition of the cold sweat he often finds himself in, he learns that going next to bare was easier.
You pull down his boxers, and are immediately exposed to a dark patch of hair. It's trimmed properly, but he prefers to have a little hair down their over being completely shaven. Something on the lines of protecting his dick from germs or whatnot. You dont listen to the details, only thinking about how hot it is.
The boxers make it past his thighs, and you glance back up at the man. He doesn't even seem to flinch when the cool air comes into contact with his skin. He snoozes peacefully into the pillow, his dark hair covering his eyes.
His dick lays limp against his leg, and you pick it up slowly, careful to not wake him up. You run your fingers over it a couple of times, and then, holding the back of it with your fingers to support it, you run your tongue from bottom to top of the length.
Levi doesn't move. You take that as a sigh to continue.
Another stripe of the tongue, and then two more, and nothing happens. You grow bolder by the moment. You place his still soft cock into your mouth, and this time you do hear a reaction. Its a quiet sigh, but it was something. His eyes still remain shut.
Slowly, you begin to suckle on the tip, finding it easier to fit it in your mouth while soft. Your tongue roams the shaft, and you press sloppy, wet kisses to his veins. Blood rushes to his cock unconsciously, and Levi still has not stirred, even with his cock now hard. You chuckle with amusement, but dont stop your movements, now dragging your hands along his thighs to appreciate his body.
Levi was having a good dream. It wasnt like the past couple of nightmares, no, this one seemed to have a light hue. It was just the two of you, laying with your backs against grass. A open field, far away from everyone, and not a threat in sight. Titans were gone.
A peaceful world for the two of you. A world Levi craved.
His hands trace your face, and he stares at you, admiring every crease and divot of your skin. You slide your way over toward him, leaning forward to kiss him. “I love you.”
He hums, eyes falling shut, as he wraps his arms around your body. “Yeah, yeah. Love ya too, brat.”
You giggle at him, and suddenly the smile on your face shifts. It turns soft, the tips of your mouth curling up in an almost feline way, while you eyes become hooded. He watches you lean forward and press your lips to his. The man doesnt stop you, gently kissing you back while your tongue slips into his mouth. Levi gulps when your hands trace down to his pants, and he quickly looks around the meadow, afraid to discover an unwelcomed guest. Of course there was nobody, it was a dream, not a nightmare. Your hand slips into his pants, and Levi’s back arches in the grass.
He twitches in his sleep and you smile fondly at the man. The tip of his cock rest against your cheek, as you admire him for a second too long, only to be rewarded with jolt of his hips from the source unknown, sending it slapping across your face. You hold back a laugh, and then grab at it again, mumbling out a, “Even a brat in your sleep, huh Captain?”
You lean forward and wrap your lips around him again.
“D-Don't stop!” Levi groans out, hands clutching at your shirt while he squeezes his eyes shut. It doesn't stop the sun from getting past his eyelids, so he moves closer to you to hopefully block it out. You press your lips to his neck, nibbling at the space just beneath his ears.
“Would never,” You purr, and the man glances at your hand. His pants are pulled down completely now, and your pace was rutheless in its up and down motions. It sends him shivering, and covering his face with the back of his arm. He breathes through clenched teeth, and tries his best not to let out a whimper. The man hears your giggle, and before he could stop himself, the whine slips out.
The first noise of the morning was a low whimper. Not much, but definitely there, and unbelievably cute. You grip at his hips and try to take him deeper, but his hips thrusts back into your mouth with another paired whine. Your eyes widen, and you gag out at the unexpected movement, having to pull away to catch your breath. His dark hair whips back and forth, and he continues to make low mewling noises. “Huh, and you call me the pervert. What are you dreaming about, pretty?”
Levi moans into your mouth, wrapping his arms around your neck. His hips buck up into your hands, and you playfully bite his lip, earning a dramatic grunt in complaint. He grips your hair and pulls you back to his lips before you try and let out another teasing remark. Precum leaks onto your hand, and he swears that it provides more of the makeshift lube then usual. Your hand feels better than normal, strangely damp, and so warm. Did handjobs always feel this good?
He can feel his high approaching and his breaths come out quicker. “Gonna..cum. Fuck!”
You detach yourself from his lips. “No, no, no! Not yet!” You tease, voice light and almost giggly. It wasn't the first time you denied him of his release, but it was rare. You always di did pamper him.
The man scowls at you, borderline on the cusp of baring his teeth. “Why?” He demands, short and simple, but shows exactly how peeved he is. Levi is more than surprised to feel that you didn't squeeze his cock in warning. No, still the warm, tight feeling, that does not make any sense to him.
“Can you do something for me first?”
A demand from you? Unheard of. “Get on with it, I-Im close”
Your hand movements become louder and louder, and it shouldn't sound like that. It's so lewd, and the squelching noise are never that loud.
You press you lips to his ear, and a shiver runs down his spine at your breath, which is strangely cooler than usual. “Wake up, Captain.”
His eyes snap open immediately and he pants into the dark room. Levi hears it first, before he feels it. A loud slurping sort of noise, and the man feels his cock trapped between something warm, wet.
A throat. Not a hand.
He is quick to manevour himself to hold his weight on his elbows, and glances down at you, breaths coming out shallow and quick. You smile when you catch his eye, and for a second you pull away from him. You pepper his length down with kisses. “Well, well, good morning, sleepy head,” You mumble, letting another swipe of your tongue graze his thick blue vein. Then, with little hesitation, you dive back onto his cock, taking it as far as you can into your mouth.
“What are you–Fuck!” His legs instinctually bend outward, and his back arches. His head was still foggy in his half sleepen state. Was that all a dream? Was this real? He grips onto your hair, and does his best not to force you deeper onto his cock.
Levi could feel his orgasm approaching and rapidly, same as the dream. But this time it was real, and by god did it feel that way. His hips buck into your mouth and he lets out loud moans, tucking his face into the pillow to try and muffle them.
He tries to ask for permission again to cum again, hoping that this time real you wouldnt lead him on. It comes out more as a command, but you just roll your eyes with a smile, the giggle in the back of your throat sending him spiral.
“Cumming. Oh god. Thank you, thank you, thank you!” He chants, and your eyes widen in shock, but you don't pull away from his cock. He was never the one to be polite in bed, the little brat was always barking commands and half hearted complaints. He must be really enjoying this treat if he was to thank you.
You dont have time to dwell on it much, because he forces your head lower onto his cock and cums into your mouth. You wince at the taste, but bear no mind to it as you watch your lover unravel. His back still continues to arch (which you will never get over) while his eyes are shut. The noises he lets out are soft, more of a mewl and a groan, but adorable nonetheless. His whole body trembles and his legs lay out wide, shaking under the force of the orgasm.
You pull away when he is done, and wipe your lips with the back of your hand. “Taste perfect as usual. Always so good on your diet!”
He rolls his eye at you, but it doesn't hold much bite considering that the man seemed to be basking in the post orgasm glow. “You are gross. I know that shit tastes bad.
“Nope! Anything that the Captian makes is amazing”
He throws a pillow at your face, and you pout at him, a dramatic whine slipping past your lips. “Don't call me that, I am not even your Captain anymore, brat. And stop pouting!” He demands, pulling up his boxers before letting out a big stretch.
“Why are you so mean to me?” You complain, crawling forward to lay on his chest. “After I gave you head too!”
The frown does not drop from his face, but he does trace his fingers along your face. A silent token of affection that you purr into. “Took ya long enough. Thought you forgot about it.”
You fake hurt, taking in a dramatic breath. “Of course not! I would never lie to you.” The words are light, and holds a smile in them. “And hey, dont you think you are a little spoiled? Complaining that you got a blowjob too late.”
Levi doesnt even seem to react, his facial expression remaining neutral, and his words flat. “No ‘m not. Said thank you and everything.”
To this, you do nod, practically vibrating with affection to give. It was too hard to really be upset with him. “Super polite of you! I was so impressed!”
This does make him roll his eyes. “You really think low of me, huh?”
You poke at his cheek with a smile plastered on your face. “Aww cmon dont be dramatic again. You know I dont. Oh! Also, did it help with the nightmares?” You tease, knowing exactly what type of dream he really was having. “You sounded very….Scared in your dream.”
He seems to flush red, but alas, Levi was never the one to be on the losing foot. “....Yes. Seems like you are going to have to do this for me everyday. To stop the nightmares.”
You burst out laughing, and fail to see the small grin that creeps up the dark haired man's face.

Selfish risks

The Scout headquarters is silent, most of the survey corps members have already taken themselves off to bed, greedily getting as much rest as possible before the next mission creeps up on them. Everyone has been working hard, with both training sessions and squad meetings running longer and longer each day, almost as if each scout could sense something approaching.
The wind howls outside the stone structure, rustling the leaves and causing the windows to rattle. You shiver despite the loud crackling of the fireplace inside your office, the amber flames fighting to keep the chill away.
The warmth and ambient sounds of nature do their best to lull you to sleep, exhaustion tugging on your eyelids as you force yourself to work through the night. A bad habit that you had picked up from a certain captain.
Your relationship with him over the years within the scouts had caused a few of his mannerisms to rub off onto you, for better or for worse. You’ve found that the recruits you are tasked to train tend to listen to you more after you picked up Levi’s “don’t test me” expression. However, you have caught yourself clicking your tongue in displeasure a lot more as well, much to the amusement of all those nearby to pick up on it.
The frantic scribbling of your pen grows louder as you try to rush the piles of paperwork towering before you. A small rumble breaks the silence as your stomach protests, unhappy with the dedication to the mountain of paper causing you to skip dinner accidentally.
You are so engulfed in the moment that you almost miss the gentle creaking of the door. You raise your head only to be met with tired silver eyes cutting through the shadows of the room.
Levi slowly shuts the door before pausing, simply watching you sign your name and toss the pen to the side, ignoring the halfhearted glare thrown your way as it rolls across the desk and onto the floor with a small clatter.
You stare at him for a moment, waiting for the small lecture about making a mess, even if it is in your own space. A lecture that, surprisingly, never comes.
"Shouldn't you be sleeping?" He says instead, his voice is gentle, yet you can sense the small reprimand within his words.
"Curfew doesn't apply to squad leaders and higher, I thought you knew that?" You shoot him a playful smirk that only grows with the withering look you get in response.
"That's not what I meant and you know it."
"I know, there's just... so much to get through and I figured I would power through most of it while you were in the meeting with Erwin and Hange. Which seemed like a good plan considering how long it took."
Levi lets out a long sigh as he walks towards the armchair by the fire, flopping down onto the worn fabric. You smile at the sight, at how carefree and unguarded he lets himself be around you.
A sight some could never think to imagine when it comes to the aloof captain, but you know him better than most.
You get up from the desk, groaning slightly as your muscles scream in defiance. A sign that you have been cooped up on the uncomfortable wooden chair for far too long. The sound causes Levi's head to snap in your direction, only relaxing again when he notices you are in no real pain.
The sight makes you smile, even with everything he has to handle within the Survey Corps, he still always makes sure to look out for you as well. Even when he doesn’t need to.
His eyes track your every movement and you see a myriad of emotions swirling through them: exhaustion, concern, wonder, adoration and love all mix with the flickering amber of the fire within the gunmetal of his eyes.
He shuffles to try and give you some space beside him in the small armchair, only to frown in frustration and pull you into his arms instead. You rest your head in the crook of his neck, straddling his lap as you bring your hand up to run through his silky hair.
"Interesting meeting?" You whisper into his neck, not wanting to break the peace that has settled over you both. Something you both rarely get to cherish, yet heavily deserve.
The only reply you get is a small hum, he tightens his grip around you and peppers your shoulder with small kisses.
"Four-eyes has a new experiment they want to try out. Apparently, it's fundamental that Erwin lets them capture more titans for it." Levi says with a small grumble, his voice slightly muffled by your shoulder, clearly unhappy to remember what had held up the already late meeting for so long.
You go to open your mouth to speak, only for his low voice to cut you off instantly.
"And no, you're not helping them with whatever shitty plan they have in mind. You need to stop letting them drag you into their schemes so easily." He punctuates his words with a small flick to the centre of your forehead.
You let out a light laugh, the action sending a shiver across Levi's skin.
"How did you know I was going to suggest helping Hange?"
"I know you too well."
"That you do." You kiss his jawline, slowly moving towards his lips, leaving a trail of feather-light kisses as you do. He sighs when your lips finally meet his own, his eyes flickering shut briefly as you part.
"Marry me."
Your eyes widen briefly, shock and excitement rushing through you, you are almost certain you had misheard him if it weren't for the slightest blush covering his cheeks and the determined look in his eyes.
"Is that an order, Captain?"
He huffs out a small laugh, his eyes flicking up briefly before he reveals a small ring from the pocket of his jacket. A proud green jewel sits atop the thin silver band, your breath catches as it glints in the firelight.
"I could make it one if you wanted. I got fed up of waiting for some perfect moment or whatever that traditional bullshit is. There are no perfect moments in this world, not when titans could eat us at any moment." He pauses for a moment, his usually stoic voice faltering with emotions as he tries to hide his face from your unwavering gaze.
"Or so I thought until you made me experience peace in these moments with you. Then I realised that every moment where we are alive together is a perfect one."
You stare at him with wide eyes, not noticing the stream of tears running down your cheeks until you feel his calloused hand brush them away with a softness you couldn't begin to imagine.
"The thought of having someone to lose scares me, but you've made me realise that marriage or not, loving you has been a risk I've been taking for a while now. Might as well make you officially mine while we have the chance."
You let out a watery giggle as your hands dance along the fabric of his shirt, smoothing out any creases that dare to cling to him.
"You know, most marriage proposals don't have the implications of a horrible death woven into them."
"That's clearly where the poor fuckers are going wrong then."
Levi's eyes are soft as he watches you, his lips finally quirking up into a small smile as you let out an undignified snort at his comment.
"Yes, I will marry you."
You don't miss the way his shoulders drop with relief, nor the genuine joy that shines through his eyes. He delicately takes the hand you wordlessly offer him, taking his time to slide the ring onto your finger.
“Good, I want to risk being selfish. Just this once.”
You beam at his words, heart heavy as you place a soft kiss onto his lips before throwing your arms around his neck to pull him as close as possible. His arms quickly wrap around your lower back as he holds you tightly, his head resting against your chest.
He can almost sense the approaching comment from the way you jiggle with pure, albeit restrained laughter.
“Is it green to match our capes? Don’t get me wrong, love, you choose very well. A fact I’m sure you already know, but…is that the reason?” “Shut up.”
The laugh you give him in response warms both of your hearts more than the now-dying fire could manage.

What about threesome w Levi and Erwin
this was requested a lot of times
you sigh when your sword drops again, the pain in your hand still not decreasing. you look around, trying to see if anyone saw you. all of the other trainees are fighting, not caring about you but your gaze falls on the commander who's watching you intensively.
"oh shit," you think to yourself. you try to pick up the sword again but your wrist remains limp. you know it's not a big deal but now that commander saw it, you might get into trouble.
"is everything alright?" erwin asks, looking worried. you know that commander cares a lot about his soldiers but that he's also strict about their abilities.
"just a sore wrist." you reply. you hope that it will brush erwin off but your face falls as he tells you to follow him. he takes you into his office. you sit there, watching him as he searches in the first-aid box. he comes back seconds later, carrying a bandage. he carefully puts it on your wrist, stroking it as he does so.
"i wouldn't sleep if i knew that the prettiest trainee is hurting."
"what?"
"you've heard me."
one of his hands still holds your wrist while his other sets on your thigh. you feel high, not knowing how to react.
"how about you take care of something of mine?" he asks and you can just dumbly nod. his gaze makes you feel butterflies.
"get on your knees." he orders and you do so. you can feel your heart racing as he undoes his belt, pulling his cock out. you eyes widen at the size but it's also understandable that a commander like this is going to have a big cock. you wrap your hand around his cock, stroking it. you kiss the tip of his cock, making his moan. you smile at his, loving the noises he makes. you take him into your mouth, stroking the rest that doesn't fit.
"your hand seems completely fine." erwin says, getting your hair as he urges you to continue sucking. you take him deeper into your mouth, gagging at his size, making erwin let out a satisfied groan. you feel your panties get wet at the expression he gives you. you've always found his attractive and now that he's towering over you, makes you submit to him even more.
"just like that, good girl." his praises are like honey to your ears and you wish to hear them all the time.
"is she good?" your eyes shoot up to levi who's standing in the door. you quickly pull off erwin's cock, coveting your face in hopes of levi not recognizing you. erwin has other plans tho as he pulls you on his cock again.
"be a good girl." he whispers to you, completely ignoring levi. you don't know where to look and your eyes twitch to levi every few seconds.
"erwin, can you explain what's going on?" levi asks, this time more annoyingly.
"she's fucking me off." erwin replies bluntly. you don't know what's going and you can't tell anything from the looks they're giving one another. you've heard about the history between levi and erwin but this is completely different.
"and is she good at it?" levi's question coughs you off guard. levi stands behind you, pulling down your pants.
"she's fucking soaked." he moans, his fingers probing at your slit. he gathers your wetness on his fingers before slipping them inside of you. you moan, trying to get his fingers deeper inside of you.
"stay still, whore." he orders, pulling his fingers from you and replacing them with his cock. your back arches as he slips inside of you. it's been a while since someone was inside of you and the stretch is surely there.
"what? can't take it?" he chuckles and you only reply with a moan. he starts fucking you slowly, teasing you with the thrusts. erwin starts thrusting inside of your mouth unexpectedly, making you choke. levi uses your distraction to speed up his thrusts.
your body shakes under their thrusts as they use your body. neither of them are soft and you love it. none of your boyfriends never treated you like them.
erwin tugs at your hair, urging you to deep throat him. you take a deep breath, taking his whole cock into your mouth, your nose meeting his skin. levi spreads your cheeks apart, watching himself slip in and out of you. every single one of his thrusts hits your sweet spot and you can't help but to think about how experienced he is. it's almost like they planned for this to happen.
"you're a good girl. you're gonna swallow, right?" erwin asks, stroking your cheek. you nod enthusiastically. it takes few swipes of your tongue before he's cumming inside of your mouth. you swallow everything as you promised, showing him your mouth empty mouth. levi groans at your gesture, speeding up his thrusts. you can feel yourself on the verge of cumming and it takes one sharp thrust to bring you over the edge. the squeeze of your pussy makes levi groan and pull out. he cums on your back, staining your uniform. you lay on the ground panting, looking at the two man who look at you with a smile.
"get up and don't dare to say something." levi says, bursting out of the door. erwin just chuckles at his, kneeling beside you.
"you good?" he asks and you nod your hair.
"good. i think im gonna keep you."

CHAPTER 20 - FLASHBACK: TEN
Eighty to forty.
Slashed in half.
On paper, the tactical statistics sound nothing short of a miracle.
In a division plagued by endless casualties, any hope of saving lives rather than destroying them should (and will) sanction blind approval from higher command.
For the commandant, for the king, for the people behind those Walls relying on this team to succeed in breaching the forest to pursue the mission of the Scout Regiment, it’s the best idea curated to date—
And it’s all thanks to Commander Erwin and his right-hand man, Captain Levi.
Levi Ackerman insists he can take on any Abnormal single-handedly.
Commander Erwin insists his Special Operations squad can and will find a way through the thick of it, once and for all.
A triumphant success for humanity, no matter the cost.
— but that was on paper.
When you wake, Levi isn’t beside you in your bed.
His disappearing act in the morning isn’t unusual nor is it disappointing.
By now you're used to waking up without him, though you only find yourself sleeping thanks to him.
(He's admitted that, if he doesn't slip out earlier than when you wake, then he may never leave.)
Although your relationship is the worst kept secret within the Special Ops squad, it’s still just that:
A secret.
What is not a secret, however, is the trajectory of what’s to come.
Not every day in the regiment is a nightmare, but this is the type of day the average cadet dreads when they pledge their allegiance to the Survey Corps.
So you ready for the day with noticeable weight on your shoulders.
A determination to see this through.
A promise to show up for your fellow man.
(An oath to Levi that the two of you will make it out of this alive and see another sunrise.)
Today will be brutal, but you can prevail.
Stepping out of your quarters in full Scout gear, you hear the whinnies and whines of nearing horses as they gallop toward headquarters.
You fix the collar of your cropped tan jacket in time with your footsteps descending down the stairwell, mind elsewhere.
Bodies hurry in and out of the open front door. Gear clinks. Blades sheath.
“Lieutenant James!”
That voice belongs to no soul you know.
You stop dead in your tracks right in front of the open double doors. Turning to the sunlight, you raise a hand to shield the rays to locate who may have spoken your name.
Before you stands an entirely new group of Scouts that you’ve never seen before. Fresh-faced and determined, if not a little terrified — there is a large array of them standing around in a semicircle at the mouth of headquarters.
All adorn the Wings of Freedom.
All press their fist backwards to their heart, denting the emblem.
You realize some of their faces look familiar.
Albeit it was a brief stint as a cadet in the training corps, recognition flutters over your face as you spy some of the hopefuls that slept not so far from your bunk in the barracks.
It's been years. What were once youthful faces now age well before their time.
“Lieutenant, sir!”
The one in the center, a short-haired woman with glasses, barks once more.
“We’re pleased to make your acquaintance and to serve under the command of Humanity’s Strongest.”
At first you say nothing, dazed at the sheer number of this squad.
Seven people hold steadily onto seven individual horses, their shoulders shrouded by emerald green cloaks. Some keep their hoods adorned to the crowns of their heads. Others bare their nervous but brave faces to you.
“At ease,” you murmur, and they lower their fists. “I wasn’t aware another squad was joining us this morning.”
“Miro Squad, sir, at your service,” the short-haired person greets, bowing. “I received Commander Erwin’s urgent letter for additional soldiers in the pursuit of breaching the forest.”
They take a half-step back and gestures to their team, pointing out every soul on their squad.
Miro, their leader; Trina, their second-in-command with wild fiery hair; and Scouts Orin, Max, Penelope, Cesca, and Rini.
Seven additional Scouts.
Fourteen Scouts in full for this Hail Mary of a mission.
Then it hits:
Proposing half of the original projected damage was bold, even for someone as shameless as Commander Erwin.
He had no qualms with setting this mission up with the new layout provided by Levi, ensuring as much of an air-tight plan as possible.
Eighty to forty percent is nothing short of a miracle.
But miracles do not exist in the Scouts.
Your stomach drops into the dirt with the sickening realization of what Commander Erwin’s grandiose solution really meant.
Miro Squad is the forty percent reduction.
A cruel and inhumane buffer of surefire casualties in order to keep the Special Ops squad intact during the breach.
You’re staring at a group of devoured bodies before you even reach the trees.
“It’s…”
You struggle with your words before slamming your backward fist to your heart, raising your chin.
Some of the younger Scouts stare in awe at your blatant display of honor.
“It’s wonderful to meet you, Miro Squad.”
You bow, though you feel dirty for doing so.
“I trust Commander Erwin made you aware of today’s efforts?”
Miro nods. “We intend to serve however we can.”
They don’t know.
They need to know.
They need to make an informed decision before—
“Lieutenant,” a deep voice sounds behind you, and your skin crawls.
Turning your chin, you stare eye to eye with the blue-eyed man boring down on you.
Commander Erwin appears somber.
Stoic.
“Yes, Commander?”
The question is small, but it drips with a knowing venom.
Erwin is not fazed. “Captain Levi is tending to the horses at the stables. Can you aid him in preparation before departure?”
To you, you conjure what appears to be a clear answer woven between the lines:
Do not interfere. Do not disobey.
You hold rank to an extent in the Scouts, but what the Commander says, goes.
Continuing to hold his icy blue stare, you try to convey the question you cannot say out loud.
(Do they know what is about to happen?)
Erwin continues to stare right back, not the least bit fazed by the conflict in your brow.
He is confident. He is headstrong.
An answer.
They're going to dedicate their hearts.
(Just like you, too, promised years ago.)
Without another word, you turn on a heel and beeline straight to the stables.
Anger.
Why do you feel so much anger?
Is it because the outcome feels bleak well before mission has started?
Are the odds truly this stacked against humanity?
When you reach the parted doors of the stables, he's there — Levi Ackerman stands in front of his black stallion, gliding a gentle hand down its muzzle.
He senses your presence well before you even say a word.
He turns easily to you, but his eyes sharpen a fraction when he picks up how pinched your shoulders are.
“James,” he greets neutrally, brow knitting. “What’s—”
“Miro Squad just showed up.”
“Who?”
“Don’t play dumb,” you snip, making your way to your own horse — she has a white coat with speckled gray spots all along her body.
She makes a small chortle noise when you near and you serve your flattened palm to her for a nuzzle.
(Behind the pen doors, you note she already has her gear in place. Levi must have already saddled her up for you while you were getting ready.)
The dark-haired man to your left sighs in a huff.
“Not playing dumb, James. I was genuinely asking.”
“It’s the squad Erwin’s setting up for slaughter,” you decide to elaborate hotly.
A pause passes.
You don't turn to see Levi's expression, but you can sense how tense the space between the two of you has become.
“If it’s Miro Squad he called to action, then they’ve fared well in comparison to the other squadrons," he argues with little fire. "Did he personally request them?"
"Allegedly."
"Allegedly?" Levi repeats, sharper in tone. "Either he did or he didn't."
"According to Miro, yes, he sent an urgent letter requesting aid."
Finally you turn a cheek towards him, forcing your eyes to meet.
You know that look he gives you sidelong.
Don’t start.
(Neither of you need to fight again, not before this mission.)
"Then Erwin didn't pick a random crop of Scouts to shit the bed and die on us," Levi reasons, softer. Conspiratorial. "I know you think he’s a bastard, but—”
“Worst case scenario,” you interrupt, “at least his Special Ops team won’t die?”
“If my strategy goes well, then no one dies." He counters with the certainty that’s entirely Levi. “You forget my name is on the damn ledger, too, unless this is you trying to tell me something.”
White-hot embarrassment courses your veins as your childhood friend waits for you to challenge his statement — to call him an equal-part premeditated murderer sat right beside the commander.
You can’t.
You won’t.
Instead you cool off by slowly petting your horse, willing your bad feeling to wither away.
After a moment, Levi wills his voice to soften again. “We need as many Scouts as we can—”
“I know.”
“—and even then, if we all kick the bucket, it's on me."
Levi finishes with a heavy sigh. He turns away, dropping his chin to his chest.
“I'll take whatever punishment fits the crime if it goes to shit."
A beat passes.
Blinking several times, you turn your body to him and drop the attitude.
“...and I'll do everything in my power to make sure we stay alive," you whisper softly. "That everyone comes home."
Levi’s head hangs, cascading his wispy black hair as a curtain over his face.
“That's not supposed to be your burden."
"Where you go, I go, remember?" you tell him. "For better or worse, I don't care."
"Wanna workshop vows, huh?" he mumbles. "Right now?"
This seems to ease the air about the stables.
Centimeter by centimeter, twin pairs of shoulders release in their tension.
You can't help but smile, even if the moment is tense.
"I think the Commander would find the dramatics funny."
"Oh, sure, proposing to your ass right before the single-biggest mission in Scout history would really tickle his funny bone," he sarcastically replies.
"It'd sure tickle Hange's."
"Hange doesn't need more ammunition, not after catching our asses that one time—"
"That one time that was your fault, you mean?" You grin as he glares. Still, his scowl is playful. "Loud Mouth Ackerman—"
"Shut up, Lieutenant."
Levi lets go of his horse and raises his hand, palm outstretched.
“Get the hell over here before anyone catches us a second time, alright?”
Albeit small, he smiles.
It's forced, like he wants to remember this — to focus on this.
The final moments before the point of no return.
Like a moth to a flame, you step away from your horse to step towards the short, dark-haired man.
Once you’re close enough, he pulls you in from the nape of your neck and drags your forehead to his, pressing them together.
His eyes squeeze shut.
You stare, memorizing his face.
“I love you,” he murmurs. “Don’t die.”
All the anger in your body melts away.
“I love you, too,” you reply just as softly. “I won’t—”
The stable door creaks.
You leap off of the captain to pretend like you’re picking up the bucket of water at his boots.
Levi stays put, dropping his arm like dead weight.
“Captain. Lieutenant.”
You don’t need to see the face to know it’s Erwin’s voice echoing through the stables.
“It’s time to move out.”
You both reply in unison, two different octaves.
“Yes, sir.”
.
.
.
.
.
The formation is simple:
Captain Levi leads the charge into the forbidden forest with Lieutenant James at his side.
Behind them in a diamond formation are the Special Operation Scouts Petra, Oluo, Gunther, and Eld.
Command Erwin, Section Commander Hange, and Moblit remain at headquarters for the recon and debrief.
At the rear of the formation are Miro Squad to specifically call out nearing and flanking titans that the first squad may miss.
They shadow the Special Operations unit as back-ups, no matter the cost.
And at first? It's easy.
Deceiving easy.
The mouth of the forest gives little trouble.
Both squadrons of Scouts breach the thick grove of towering trees without incident.
Thirty minutes into this mission, in the belly of this beast, not a single Abnormal has been spotted.
There aren't any typical titans, either.
It’s quiet.
Serene.
“Alright, listen up!”
With his hands tightly wound around leather reigns, Captain Levi finally calls to the Scouts behind him.
“Keep your eyes peeled. Abnormals do not move like other titans. These shitheads can be fast and appear at a moment’s notice.”
“Right!” Several of the Miro squad shouts back.
The Special Operations squad is too focused to reply.
Whenever you glance over at Levi, he’s smooth as stone.
He refuses to allow any emotion cloud his judgment on a mission, and you can imagine it won’t be any different this go-around.
Because this mission cannot fail.
The Scouts must push forward, no matter the cost.
(Even if the irrevocable cost makes you sick to your stomach.)
The sun shines bright over a canopy of trees.
Your cloak is too warm in this type of weather.
As you push further into the thick of the terrain, nearing what is assumed to be the halfway point of the forest, birds chirp less and less.
Eerie silence overtakes the pounding of hooves into the dirt.
Then, as fast as an inhale, you see it:
Directly ahead trudges a nine-meter titan, peering around a thick tree trunk.
"Captain!" Gunther shouts. "Ahead at our twelve!"
"I see the piece of shit," Levi calls back. "We keep moving. I'll take care of it."
You don't doubt that he will.
As it continues to slowly advance on your formation, you can tell the team is a little more tense.
Ready —
Except no one was prepared, not really.
The titan ahead is an army of one, but it is not the only titan here.
It was just the only one right in front of you.
Behind you sounds a scream so bloodcurdling that you nearly lock up on your horse.
You turn despite yourself.
Within seconds, you see Max get ripped clear off of his horse with the sheer force of otherworldly strength.
(...a hand?)
Then, a gust of wind sweeps and swirls the dirt into a lackluster tornado.
His horse narrowly escapes.
It rolls over and over, kicking up a thick dust cloud.
Max speeds through the air at breakneck speed like a human arrow —
Until he abruptly crashes into a thick tree trunk, dislocating his spine from his head.
The crunch is like ripping a stalk of ripe lettuce in half.
He simply crumples against the tree, limbs peacefully blowing in the wind like a leaf.
His Scout cloak billows over his shocked face, forever frozen in belated surprise.
Gone.
Just like that.
Then from the shadows, as if waiting for its prey, a five-meter titan stumbles around a tree to chomp on the recently deceased body.
It gnaws off his legs as they dangle in the air, spattering blood all over the forest floor.
Your horse gallops on.
You can't look away.
Then someone screams, forcing your eyes to rip away from the horror.
“Cesca!” A blonde girl shrieks to the right of the formation — Penelope, you think her name is. “Don’t!”
“It's devouring him!” Cesca wails at the top of her lungs. “We have to go back for him!”
“He’s already dead!” Trina calls with experienced calm. “There's no use, soldiers! Keep your eyes forward. We keep moving!”
“James—”
Your head turns when Levi calls to you.
Wide eyes meet a narrowed gaze.
“—that means you, too.”
Your eyes round with the realization that everything is happening so fast yet moving in slow motion.
What was that thing?
Was that a... ?
You were so busy watching Max get eaten that you didn’t realize three more titans appeared on the northeast corner, awakened by the screams of Miro Squad.
Shit.
This isn’t good.
This is not good.
“Levi,” you begin slowly, but he shakes his head.
"Don't hesitate. We push forward no matter what."
He's right.
Max is dead.
You just have to hope the rest of Miro squad keeps their wits about them.
You turn your head to make eye contact with Miro.
“Faster!”
“Roger, Lieutenant,” Miro tells you before shouting to their team. “Keep going, Scouts! We should be halfway through the clearing.”
“Miro,” Trina alerts them sharply, "three more titans are crowding from the right."
“Shit, what does that make it now? Seven of them!?” Miro hisses.
(Seven?)
Your eyes connect with Petra who appears equal parts shocked at just how quickly this mission has dissolved.
“I— there's a whole bunch of them in the back!”
Penelope calls frantically, staring behind her.
"They're surrounding us!"
Three to the east.
Another three to the northwest.
A couple to the south, and another...
Something entirely unlike anything you'd ever seen before.
“Captain, we’re going to need to ditch the horses,” you tell Levi in a hushed voice.
“Not yet,” he replies, smooth and certain.
“Not yet?" you repeat. "Levi, we have an entire army of goddamn titans on our—”
“I said not yet,” he coolly bites. “I’ll handle them.”
You know he will.
You just don’t want him to go up against them on his own.
Suddenly someone from the right side of the formation ignites their ODM gear, and they swoop overhead.
Blonde hair whooshes straight by the team and into the forest thick.
Penelope is the first to pull the trigger.
“I’m gonna get ahead of the curve and attack!” she calls, zipping through the trees towards some of the smaller titans.
Levi says nothing, but Miro shouts to their own squad:
“That wasn’t the plan! Damn it, Penelope!”
Her body rounds one of the tree trunks and heads right, disappearing.
Say something.
Say anything.
If that thing that killed Max is how an Abnormal moves, then Penelope doesn't stand a chance on her own.
You speak to him again. "Captain—”
“Not yet, James.”
“Penelope is going to get killed!” you argue, your grip on the reigns tightening.
“That’s the choice she made,” Captain Levi argues in return, sounding a little too much like Commander Erwin in the moment. “Remain steady and wait for my signal.”
Twigs fold and crackle under new weight to your right.
Then a thud shakes the straight through the horses and into you.
Penelope must have taken down at least one normal titan.
“Captain!”
Miro shouts in the middle of the squad.
“Should we engage? My squad can take care of the titans and carve a path forward!”
There is a tense, pregnant pause.
Everyone waits for Levi's instruction.
Two smaller titans walk directly towards the horses.
The dark-haired man's nostrils flare with decision.
“I’m going to take down the two ahead,” Levi shouts, effortlessly swinging a boot to the saddle of his horse.
With the muscles of his thigh he pushes until both boots are surfing against his running horse.
His black hair blows wildly in the wind. Like a well-oiled machine, he pushes back his cloaks to reveal his ODM gear, readying for deployment.
"Miro, take your squad and eliminate the enemies flanking us. You can come back to us once you're finished."
“What about the rest of us, sir?” calls Oluo.
Levi’s eyes narrow at the enemies ahead.
“My squad will keep the horses going. We need to make it to the end of this forest, for humanity's sake."
"And Captain, what about Penelope?" you quickly ask.
"She's a lost cause, Lieutenant."
He speaks with that coldness he's been forced to adopt ever since your days in the Underground.
"We can't go back for her."
You turn to watch as Miro squad disengages formation and turns around, charging bravely towards the crowd of titans forming behind.
An array of shapes and sizes await their swords.
(Or their flesh.)
Any minute now and it could be a bloodbath.
Any minute—
Levi flies off of his horse, trapezing through the trees.
A gas trail from how hard his gear is working is your only indicator for where he is at such a height.
He twirls with the shine of his unsheathed swords, slashing the napes of the two large titans ahead.
A victory.
Except it's a short-lived victory, because you hear it behind you—
Miro squad.
They're in trouble.
Even from this distances you hear Cesca, Rini, and Orin scream and panic.
Scouts fly between tree branches with smoke trailing behind. ODM gear ignites and retracts without any real clear sense of direction.
They're drowning back there.
You see the silhouette of someone falling to the forest floor.
"One of us needs to help them," you tell Eld, and he shakes his head sharply.
"You heard Captain Levi."
"They're two fucking Scouts down, Eld!" you snap at your comrade. "We'll lose seven whole people!"
"We can't go against captain's orders, Lieutenant!" Petra calls to you, and Oluo nods beside her.
Scanning your squad still soldiering ahead with the plan, you feel something grip your heart.
Yet another gut-wrenching shriek sounds from the forest.
Maybe it's Penelope.
Maybe it's Cesca.
The voices reverberate and echo through the forest that it's hard to tell.
You don't even realize that you're moving your hands over your cloak to push it out of the way.
Eighty to forty.
"The hell are you doing!?"
The clipped tone of Levi Ackerman as he drops back onto his stallion rips you back into focus.
His knee drops to the saddle, facing his soldiers rather than what's ahead.
Your eyes meet narrowed gray.
"I can help," you tell him calmly. "They're going to die."
"Stay."
"They're going to die, Le—"
"Stay, Lieutenant." Levi's nostril's flare. "That's an order."
Miro squad's screams continue to haunt your subconscious.
You promised.
You said you'd stay by his side.
But isn't this what the Scout Regiment is for?
To save humanity, to give them hope.
It used to be something you felt was such a crock of shit, but you can't ignore the screams back there.
You can't let them die.
"I'm going to help them," you tell him without a tremor. "You know I can do it."
Levi's eyes flash with an indiscernible emotion.
"We'll all come back in one piece. I'll guide them to the horses."
"No."
"And we'll make it to the end of this fucking forest."
You stare back at him, pleading a forgiveness you haven't asked for yet.
(You saved me once. Let me save them.)
"If you go," he growls, "James, if you go, I'll—"
"I'll take whatever punishment fits my crime," you cut him off, "but I can't let them all die."
His pupils shrink, sharpening the whites of his eyes.
The wheeze of ODM gear bursts into life as it lifts you off of your saddle and into the forest sky.
Without thinking, you twist at the hip and take off—
You head south towards the screaming squad as they fight to break free from the titan hoard holding them hostage.
Wind freezes your cheeks.
The outlines of their bodies grow more pronounced the closer you become.
Soon you see five Scouts flying around, swinging their swords to destroy the last remaining titan.
Below are a cluster of smaller dead ones decaying by the second.
Trina, Miro's second-in-command, screams at the top of her lungs as she reaches out to her comrades.
"Help! Please, I don't want to be eaten! Please!"
She's stuck in the clutches of a ten-meter titan, slowly bringing her closer and closer to its open mouth.
They’re everywhere.
(How did everything go so wrong so fast?)
You don't think about dying. You don't worry about how upset Levi will be when you return. You don't stop to second guess your actions.
You don’t.
You just do.
Yelling at the top of your lungs, you rip both blades from their metallic sheaths at your hips.
Spinning from the momentum of your swing, you slice straight through the wrist of the titan holding Trina hostage.
She falls with enough smarts to break her fall with her own gear.
“James!” Trina cries out with equal parts despair and relief. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I came to make sure you were all okay," you tell them, shaking your head. "I guess you didn't really need back-up. We still have your horses..."
But you trail off, confused.
They should be relieved.
They killed every last titan back here.
Yet the Miro squad cling to the trees, skin as translucent as ghosts.
"Something big ate Penelope!" Cesca sobs, swinging her sword frantically to keep invisible outstretched fingers at bay. Her eyes are a window to nothing. As if she's curled into herself as she screams to you. "You need to—"
You're about to ask what the hell she's talking about.
But then you see it:
Climbing.
No, crawling through the trees, running like a rabid dog through the branches to eye up its prey.
A titan.
In comparison to other titans, it's practically a sun spot.
And it's so fast.
Eleven meters tall. Maybe thirteen.
You can't tell when its crouched like that.
Deformed.
Curled in on itself.
Then it halts when it sees you, blocking you from the rest of Miro squad.
A chill runs up your spine.
You stop to balance against the side of a tree trunk, staring face-to-face with your first Abnormal.
Its grin is something straight out a nightmare.
Its eyes track you, as if it...
As if it hopes you’ll flinch and begin the chase.
Shit.
You can't get around it.
You're stuck here — but the other five aren't.
“Trina, Miro, find Captain Levi,” you force yourself to speak, unable to look away from the Abnormal. “Take your squad north. Tell them you found an Abnormal."
“But—”
“I said go north, damn it,” you growl, clenching your teeth.
"What about you?" Miro asks.
“I'll be right behind you," you promise, though you damn well know you can't run straight through with your gear.
Why isn’t this titan attacking you?
Is it just waiting for you to run first?
Dedicate your heart.
No — this thing isn't going to kill you.
Max is dead. Penelope is dead.
But you came just in time to save five others.
You can save them, yourself, and this mission.
No, you won't die.
Not today.
“Go!”
Shouting at the top of your lungs, the Abnormal finally dives to attack you.
Only when you swing past it do you realize it was waiting — not for you, no, but for an eight-meter and ten-meter with blood all over its mouth to catch up.
Not one, but three Abnormals.
Shit.
Miro and Trina gather Orin, Cesca, and Rini.
All five swing through the trees back towards where you just came from.
In the meantime, you exhaust your efforts through intense ODM defensive maneuvers to avoid getting caught in the clutches — or teeth — of the three titans.
They chase after you, using the trees to their advantage.
It's no use.
You can't outrun all three.
So you'll have to fight these assholes to find a way out.
Turning abruptly, you side-step the lurching ten-meter reaching out towards you.
With a battle cry from the gut, you scream and slice straight through the nape of its neck.
Steam emits as it gurgles and stumbles, effectively dying on the forest floor.
One down.
Three to go.
You set your sights on the smaller titan first, gliding and sliding through the trees.
(The eleven-meter titan will be your greatest problem. You choose to make it your final priority.)
When you flip in the air, crown pointed to the ground and feet in the air, you can no longer see the bodies of Miro squad.
Only a faint trail of their gas fumes linger.
It’s just you, and the things that want to kill you.
But you won't die today.
No, you are not dying in this fucking forest.
Because you promised him.
Skating across a large tree trunk, you swan dive in the air and reattach your gear to opposite tree trunks, sights locked on the eight-meter titan.
The eight-meter monster stares directly at you, but you use its shoulder to lodge your spike directly into its flesh.
The momentum of the swing offers enough brutality to effectively rip into the nape of its neck, causing titan blood to splatter all over your body.
It stumbles, falling to the forest floor. You remain perched on its shoulder, sword extended.
Two down.
You can do this.
You can finish these titans off and meet up with the team before the mission is over.
It isn’t a lost cause.
Determined to see it through, you turn on the heel of your boot—
With a might crack of its arm, the eleven-meter knocks you clear off of the eight-meter’s shoulder and straight into the tree your gear is already attached to.
Your head hits.
The world turns into stars right before your eyes.
And before you can find yours wits and attack back—
Its fiery palm seizes your body from the tree trunk and squeezes.
The momentum nearly rips your spine in half when the Abnormal grabs you.
You gasp for air, knocked clear from your lungs.
Because you didn’t disengage your ODM line latched into the nearby tree, the sheer force of its grip on you bends your gear, forcing you to ragdoll between the points.
Shit.
The grapple of your gear won’t budge.
It won’t detract.
The jerking movements between the manhandling of the Abnormal and your jammed gear create a perfect storm of injuries.
Pops and crunches trickle up your body, breaking bones upon bones upon bones—
You see white.
The titan cannot get you loose from the tree, and you cannot get loose from it, so you act on pure instinct — with what little strength you have left, it stretches out and around to swipe your sword through the titans hand, narrowly missing your own chest.
One chance, and you took it.
Because not only did the sword cut through the titan, but it split the ODM line keeping you eleven meters in the air.
When you realize you can’t even breathe when the titan lets you go, you know what’s coming.
Weightless and numb of your own pain, you can feel the wind on your face, but your lungs refuse to expand.
They’re trapped from a cracked rib, and you’re out of time.
Something as bittersweet as foolish bravery crawls through your skin, burning it alive:
No one is coming.
You told Miro squad to run.
You defied orders.
—but you promised Levi you wouldn’t die.
(Is this the end of all things, right here?)
The screams and shouts echoing through your mind are not of Levi and Miro squad, no, but of your lost comrades — the ones who experienced the very same hopeless, fleeting feeling of fear right before they went.
You think of ash-blonde hair. Ginger locks.
Were Furlan and Isobel afraid?
When they couldn’t survive the Scouts, when they fought titans, did they look up at the sky just like you?
Did they know it was the end?
Were they worried they disappointed Levi?
Did they think of you, too, the way you're thinking about them?
Would they hate you for what you've done to Levi?
Four pairs of hopeful eyes walked up those Underground City stairs and into this world, yet only one will remain.
I promised.
You open your mouth, but nothing comes out.
No screams.
No sobs.
You reach for the branches, watching the glittering sun through the canopy of trees, but you cannot touch them.
There is nothing you can do.
I’m sorry.
You continue to reach for the sky like you’ll catch on something without strength.
Your adrenaline-addled mind runs through so many memories—
The fighting rings of the Underground City;
The dream of leaving this place;
The feeling of the sun on bare skin;
Him.
Levi Ackerman.
Captain of the Scout Regiment. Humanity’s Strongest.
Your best friend.
The love of your life.
The boy who saved you, over and over, until—
“James!”
Suddenly your body reacts with a pained, strangled gasp.
The beauty of the sun disappears when a dark, oval silhouette overtakes it.
A brilliant shimmer of emerald billows around it.
It twirls and slashes the nape of the eleven-meters neck before pivoting south.
Towards you.
The silhouette nears at supernatural speeds, a trail of gas zipping in its wake—
It’s a man.
His gaze is overtaken by the whites of his eyes.
With how fast he’s descending from the tree tops, it’s a miracle he ducks and dodges every rogue branch.
His black hair is pinned to the sides of his head. The terror is written all over his face.
That face…
Levi.
You can’t speak, but you instinctively reach for his hand.
He grits his teeth, willing his body to fall faster. He breaks a barrier and soars closer to your orbit.
“Stay with me!” Levi shouts, voice determined and strong. “I’ll catch you!”
But you’ve been falling for what feels like hours, and he’s caught you so many times in the past.
When you struggled with ODM gear training, Levi would be the one to spot your fall. Every time, without failure.
But it wasn't his duty to catch you.
It wasn't his duty to come back for you.
He reaches out a hand, teeth clenched, but his fingertips just barely miss yours.
"Shit. C'mon, James, reach!"
He's getting desperate.
You've never seen him desperate.
The ground must be close.
Is it close?
(I’m sorry.)
You wish you could tell him.
You wish you had the strength, the breath, to do so.
(I'm sorry.)
You failed him.
You didn’t listen.
You should have listened.
With what little strength is left in your both, you roll your shoulder forward to send your hand towards his.
Your fingertips touch again, but he can’t quite grasp you.
(But then so many others would have died. An entire squad of seven in a formation of fourteen instead of just three. Isn’t that what the Scouts are supposed to fight for, Levi? Isn’t that why we work so damn hard to achieve this dream for humanity?)
His breath hitches.
His eyes explode.
Because he knows what’s coming, too.
“James!”
A sorrowful breath that should be his name exits your mouth.
(Levi, I’m so sorry. I love—)
The back of your head slams into the ground.
A sickening thud.
A lost gasp of air.
The world goes black.
.
.
.
.
.
  Why did you do it?
Do what?
.
.
.
.
.
  “James!”
A baritone voice shouts your name.
It’s guttural, echoing with desperation. Fear.
.
.
.
.
.
You gave me a second chance.
.
.
.
.
.
The man dives through the trees at an otherworldly pace.
Arms pressed tight to his sides, he expertly zig-zags through an array of branches, propelling his body forward.
His emerald cloak billows from behind in an angelic halo.
As he nears, you can make out the whites of his widened eyes.
Instinctively, your hand reaches for him—
A certain sort of deja vu—
Then it hits.
.
.
.
.
.   Because where you go, I follow.
.
.
.
.
.
Something heavy crashes straight into your body.
Two strong arms envelope you.
A palm cradles the back of your head.
Metallic gear wheezes, straining against its mechanics when your side hits solid ground.
Over and over, you spin at lightning speed.
Whatever holds you does not let go.
— then you collide with something solid, and everything just stops.
Silence.
Dirt kicks up around you in a cloud.
Twin hearts beat against each other.
Slowly you raise your hand to your shoulder—
Reaching—
Until you find his hand.
Your shaking fingers curl over his.
.

question
psychology speaking...how do you think Levi would approuch love? if he ever will? do you think there's a chance he would?
based on his well...personality. how do you think Levi would be like if he ever got into a relationship? or maybe in a very closely knitted friendship, bordering something more than just that.
or just in general, how do you think he is with for example Hange and Erwin in the way of treatment, showing care, etc...?
and by the way, your analysis of Levi are *chef's kiss*. literally. I love your account 🫂
thank you! :D ngl, i got overwhelmed by your question because there's sooo much i wanted to say SO SO much😭over the years i've said a lot, so i've grouped everything on this topic together:
Levi and your romantic relationship, and in general.
both for future convenience—because a lot of these headcanons have gotten buried in the levi thoughts tag—and as a convenient masterpost falling under this hot topic :)
first, basically the answer to your question lol
Tumblr media
how Levi is once he's fallen in love + how it might come to the surface + soon after
the way to his heart is...
but in my opinion, his type of partner
what a new relationship with Levi is like
he's protective in particular
maybe to a (mostly harmless) fault
Tumblr media
Levi’s main love language is acts of service
like this :')
and this!
he shares❤️
every single conceivable romantic or flirtatious signal will go right over his head.
how it's like seeing Levi cry (how he deals with conflict in a relationship and seeking comfort)
how does he sleep with a partner?
would Levi be the kind of person who loses an argument because he gets emotional? or because he just doesn't wanna fight with you?
Tumblr media
intimacy at the beginning
physical affection is scary
when you show him you want him... :') precious
he reallyyy likes attention later, but he doesn't know how to initiate it...
sex is a precious topic
and if it goes wrong...
but in general?
some more musings.
Tumblr media
will he make the first move?? yeahh don't hold your breath.
does Levi get jealous in a relationship?
his reaction to you showering him with love

aot veteran/104 corp icks bc im back on my bullshit
someone requested AOT veteran icks, they didn't specify nsfw or not so I did both and also added sasha connie and jean bc i luv them:) feel free to message/inbox with requests!
Tumblr media
(levi, erwin, hange, jean, sasha and connie)
Levi
will visit ur place and organize things without you asking. he'd just be like "ur welcome, now your kitchen makes sense" and ur like sir, I don't know where anything is now??? also he'd def the type to proclaim he's better than you for only getting two hours of sleep when you got four. honestly so many icks come to mind for this one, imma limit it to those two for now (stay tuned lol)
nsfw: tries to be rough with you but forgets his own strength. will try to throw you on the bed, but he does it too hard so you completely miss the bed and fall on the other side of it and he's just standing there like "🧍🏻...my bad."
Erwin
you cannot convince me this man doesn't wear water shoes at the pool. you guys say you want a dilf until you actually get one bc this is the type of shit it entails^^
nsfw: erwin cannot dirty talk for shit. im srry but if you're a lil kinky this isn't the man for you. try to call him daddy and he'd be like "we don't have kids?" and you explain the kink to him and he'd just say, "have you considered therapy?🤨" now he's concerned, boner gone, you feel called out, just go to sleep tbh
Hange
they're def a firm believer in natural deodorant and won't take the graceful hints that it's not working. prob wouldn't chill w them on a hot day is all i'm saying
nsfw: feel like they'd be really good in bed tbh like i'm struggling to think of an ick. hange has big dick energy, weirdos just do it better idk. i think maybe hange would try to spit in your mouth (they a freak) and they have so much and its thick and globby like the back of the throat type spit, your gonna choke bro im gagging as a i type-
Jean
bring back toxic masculinity because Jean's hair care routine is so good to the point he'll call out your split ends, i just know it
nsfw: a fucking chatterbox like his homies know everything. you've walked in on him telling connie in extreme detail how he had you in a full nelson last night while you screamed bloody murder and he doesn't see why ur mad. "babe, if anything i'm bragging about you 😏" fucking idiot istg. also kinda gross but I think he's the type to keep sniffing his fingers after fingering you like well into the next day EWW
Sasha
obvi she can't share for shit so I think she'd be an annoying person to eat out with. like yk when you're with your friends and only one person puts their card down so the rest can Venmo them? I think you can ask her to Venmo 20 and she'd send 15 and say something like "oh I didn't eat as many fries" but she fr did. never puts her card down either so believe it or not? jail.
nsfw: will literally be on her phone mid-sex with you. feel like she'd be really into the subway surfer vids and yeah, you go down on her and look up and she brought her own entertainment? ipad child behavior
Connie
i think he'd say "we" when talking about his fave sports team as if he contributed. like, "really connie, you helped win the superbowl? did you score a touchdown?" grow tf up
nsfw: insane bush on this one, i feel like he doesn't groom for shit and whatever, that's your choice! but I also feel like college-aged modern connie would talk shit about women who weren't bald down there and won't eat it unless it is. HYPOCRITE!! I think when he gets to his mid-twenties tho he'd mature (sasha beat his ass)

SnK Vets & more random headcanons
Because I missed doing these
Mike steals Hange's glasses and pretends to be an intellectual, putting up an exagerated posh accent. Erwin can't stand two minutes of this.
Erwin never apologises whenever he has an argument with someone. He might know he was wrong but he'll never admit it openly and most importantly he's incapable of walking up to the other person and say he's sorry. He either just goes back to normal or does something for the other person, usually related to what the argument was about.
Mike can't lie. If this guy tries to make up some lie or excuse, you'll notice straight away. His body language and his tone are too telling. If he needs to hide something, he just stays quiet, he knows the moment he opens his mouth he's doomed.
Hange lies with ease. She doesn't lie very often, but when she does you have no way to tell she's lying.
Moblit adjusts his pace to Hange, when they walk together they actually move in unison.
Erwin had a bunny when he was a child.
Levi is terrible at dancing. Moving is okay when he knows the steps, but he just move to the rhythm of music. He just can't feel the rhythm. He only dances to classics like waltz, because he needs it to be mechanic, if he has to improvise he just skips. He only stays if he's dancing with Hange and she takes the lead.
Nanaba is extremely skilled at climbing. She climbs trees, walls, anything. She's fast, she finds where to put her hands and feet with a surprising ease.
Mike could sleep literally anywhere. As a kid he used to lie on the floor in front of the chimney and fell asleep there. He could sleep on a branch of a tree and get the best sleep ever.
Erwin has back aches. He likes to crack his back and he usually leans on Mike to stretch. Mike agrees to it but he complains because the sound of Erwin's back cracking freaks him out.
Moblit has an amazing memory. He remembers dates, facts and people's words very easily. He'd be like "you said these precise words on the 18th of april, we were standing next to the stables and the weather was cloudy".
Erwin and Mike have a party in between their birthdays, they call it "brorthday" and it's basically an excuse to get drunk while pretending they are celebrating both their birthdays at once.
Hange keeps a diary. Whenever someone asks, she'd say it's for titan research, but she actually writes the silliest stuff on it. "Asked 15 people. None of them has ever seen a baby pidgeon. I'm starting to think they are born adult".
Levi likes mushrooms. Mushroom soup is a favourite of his and he loves mushroom stroganoff served with rice.
Nanaba's hands and feet are always, always cold. In winter she wears two pairs of sock one on top of the other all the time.
Levi never drinks enough water. Though since he saw Hange squeezing lemons in her water during meals, he does that as well and this allows him to actually have the right amount of water to stay hydrated.

Hello. Could you do a Captain Levi x female cadet reader where Levi always seems cold and hostile towards her but then they have to go on a mission as just the two of them and the reader gets really sick and Levi has to take care of her and shows her a softer side? Thanks and I love your fics!
Hiii, so this is probably not what you expected and it's probably a little too long too, but uh, here's a little something 🙏
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cw: Sick!reader
"So, it's just me and you this time," You said brightly as you waited before Wall Maria for the gate to open that leads you outside.
"I'm glad you're finding it so enjoyable." Sarcasm evident in his tone, Levi was on his own horse, slightly ahead of you. The hood over his head hid most of his face in the shadow, but when he turned his head towards you, there were no mistaking of the narrowed gray eyes and furrowed brows.
That's the only version of Levi you've ever seen, pissed off and irritated.
"Just so you know," Levi spoke quietly. "I didn't choose you to be here. I'd prefer Eld over you for such tasks. It was Erwin who thought you'd be good for this."
With one last heated glare at you, he turned away. "So, try not to fuck up, brat."
"My pleasure as always, captain." You mumbled under your breath as the gate opened, the heavy sound of stone against stone drowning out your voice.
You tried to tell yourself that he's like that with everyone, but you always noticed how his scowl would noticably deepen everytime you were in his sight.
No, Levi Ackerman did not like you at all.
And he never tried to hide it either.
It didn't bother you anymore, his unkind words. It used to sting, when you first became his squad member. You just couldn't understand what possible reason he has to dislike you so much.
Sure you were a little careless, maybe a little too energetic, you laughed a little too loud, talked a little much. But you never thought yourself to be that irritable, specially when everyone else seemed to get along with you just fine. It's just him that seemed to have a problem with you.
You'd be lying if you said you weren't hurt the first time he snapped at you, for something so entirety silly you weren't even sure why he was so angry.
"Don't mind him," Petra had rubbed your back as you tried not to cry. "He's like that to everyone."
"You and I made the same mistake." You had muttered, while sniffling. "But he only scolded me."
But you got used to it, after all the years. You learnt that he doesn't mean half the shit he says. Sometimes, you even retort back, nothing too over the line, just a few easy dialogues to see him get pissed even more. It honestly became your entertainment at one point watching him storm out of the room infuriated.
Because if he torments you, you torment him back.
Oh, he'd give you the nastiest cleaning duties later for sure though.
As for the mission you were shouldered with, you were actually surprised when he told you. Because why on earth would he want you around for three days?
The goal was simple, to clear out a certain area for the next overnight expedition camp outs. It wasn't a rough job, that's why only two person was sent. The special operations squad had already scouted the area last week, so it was pretty much clear already. You've been on missions like this with him before, but never alone. Usually Eld or Petra tagged along. And even then it was a total nightmare with him chewing you out constantly and whenever he could.
But oh no.
Three whole days with him. Alone.
You could already feel the headache coming.
-
Levi clicked his tongue impatiently. His eyes kept glancing back to your tent. He'd been awake for hours, he had already eaten breakfast, repacked his own tent and fed the horses and yet there were no sign of you. The sun came up a while ago, the titans should be up and moving. And so should they.
If not for your dumbass probably sleeping in.
He pursed his lips. Unlikely.
You were always an early riser. There had never been a time where anyone had to wake you up, you were always the second to wake up right after he did.
Finally, he couldn't sit still any more. He walked towards your tent.
"Oi, you." He called out, making himself sound as irritated as possible to try to hide the tinge of worry underneathe. "You're planning to move after the sun sets or what?"
There wasn't your voice to answer. There wasn't even the slightest sound of anything to indicate you've heard him. Oddly quiet.
You were never quiet, he thought.
"Are you even in there?" He muttered. "Did a titan crawl inside or something?"
He waited a few more seconds. But the lack of response was making the air heavier.
"I'm coming in." He finally said after a while, bending towards the entrance. "If you're half naked in there, then that's not my fault."
You were in there alright.
You shifted, curling up tighter and pulling the cover on your face as the sunlight entered the space, the brightness sending an even more excruciating jolt of pain through your head then it already was. You heard footsteps trailing towards you until they stopped right beside you.
"Are you dead?" Levi's cold voice reached you, the sound was like a million pins stabbing your temple.
You sighed, turning around, peering one heavy eye from under the cover in response.
"Not dead." He muttered. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
"Not dead, but in the process of it." You mumbled quietly, your voice meek, timid and hoarse. "Good morning to you too, captain."
Levi frowned at how weak your voice sounded. It was barely audible. But he didn't say anything, only raised a brow inquiringly.
"Do you always barge into girl's rooms like that?" You said, slightly smiling at how he twisted his face.
"I called on you first. You didn't response." He answered, gritting his teeth.
"Yeah, sorry about that." You went back under the cover, the light was stinging your eyes. His staring wasn't helping either. "I'll be out in a while, captain. Give me 10 minutes."
"Are you sick?" He almost sounded worried, uncertainty lacing his tone.
"No." You shook your head. "Just a migraine. I get these a lot. I'll be okay in a while."
"You don't sound okay."
"But I will be. Don't worry, I can still use ODM. It's just a headache."
There was a silence. You could almost feel the heat of his gaze through the cover. You felt him shift besides you, he crouched down.
"Turn over."
You only pulled on the covers tighter. You felt his hand tap your arm.
"Turn over. Let me check if you have a fever."
"I don't." You shook your head. "I told you, it's just a headache."
"Turn over before I dump the water pallet on you.' He said firmly.
You cursed under your breath, but you did flip around, facing him. You lowered the covers so you could glare at him. He glowered back in response.
"Stop acting like a five year old. You're too old for this." He murmered, pressing the back of his head against your forehead. His eyes widened the moment he felt your temperature.
"Fuck, you're burning." He hissed, pulling his hand away.
"No way," You jolted as panic set in you. Anxiously, you pressed your own hand against your face. You can't get sick, not now.
"It's not hot." You frowned.
"Yeah, it doesn't work like that, you dumbfuck." His eyes scanned your face, your sunk eyes and chapped lips. "You even look like shit too. Did you sleep at all last night?"
"Nice." You grumbled. "You're so nice to me."
He ignored your sarcastic remarks. "How do you feel?"
"I can still go-"
"Hell no." He firmly cut you off before you could even finish your sentence.
"What? I can do it!"
"No."
"It's just surveying, captain. I promise I'll be fine."
"Don't make me repeat it."
"But you're going to have to do it alone then!" You protested. "I won't just stay in here." He stood up, brushing his clothes.
"I don't think I can go either." He said, frowning. "I can't leave you here like this." Your face fell.
"But the mission-"
"That can wait."
And then, without giving you a chance to say anything, he walked out.
But you realized too as the fever started kicking in, your blood running hot and head getting heavier. He was right, you can't go out like this.
-
It had been hours since, the sun was setting. Levi had been in and out, checking in every once in a while but also staying out. Whether that was to keep an eye out for titans or to stay away from your germs, you didn't know. As surprised as you were with Levi and this...not very hostile side of his, you felt guilt weighing you down.
Not only you did fuck up the mission—which he warned you not to—you have also become a burden. Specially, as you knew, Levi and his unwillingness to go anywhere near germs or sick or anything such. He never even went to the hospital unless it was absolutely necessary.
"Here."
You catched the little vial he tossed at you, turning it over in your hand. You were sitting up straight now, the cover draped over your shoulder.
"What's this?" You asked, curiously. The writing was too small and your eyes hurt too bad to focus.
"Meds. Nausea meds. Not sure how well it'd work for fevers but this'd have to do."
You nodded sheepishly, opening the vial and bringing it to your nose. You blanched when the smell hit you.
"Nausea meds?" You scrunched your nose. "This is triggering my nausea."
"Don't throw up here. I will smack you over the head, I swear." He warned you, reaching out a water container. "No one told you to smell it. Just swallow it down."
"That's what he said."
Levi was utterly scandalized. "Do you ever stop spouting shit?"
"No." You grinned as you downed the meds with a gulp of water. And you almost gagged, it was so disgusting.
"Serves you right." He muttered under his breath. "Tell me if you start feeling...shittier. I don't even know if this is any good."
"You don't have to do this." You blurted out after a pause.
"Do what?" He raised an eyebrow. His face was flat, as if merely bored by this whole outplay of events.
"..taking care of me?" You said. "You don't like germs. Additionally, you might get sick if you keep so close to me."
"Don't say shit. I'm tired of you enough." Was all he said before dropping on the ground, folding his knees.
You huffed frustratedly. "My point stands."
"Your point is ridiculous. I'm not leaving you here to die just because you're ego is too big to accept help."
"That is not-" You started defensively, but stopped when he glared at you. "Fine. But you should go. You don't have to stay here all day. Just because I can't do shit, doesn't mean you have to stay stuck with me as well."
"I'm not leaving you here alone." Was all he said before spreading his own covers in a corner and lying down, his back facing you.
-
If the first day was bad, the second day was worse. The headache was splitting your brain open, your eyes were bloodshot, derilious and hazy, and you could barely keep them open. You couldn't even speak when Levi tried talking to you, only ragged breaths and pants. Your eyeliashes fluttered wispily as you went in and out of consciousness. And your temperature was so, so hot, it was burning through Levi's skin.
And you shifted, flipping from side to side, and no matter what you did seemed to have given you any relief at all. Agonized cries and whimpers escaped you every once in a while, making Levi jolt. He'd see you, your face scrunched, lips pursed, tears rolling down the sides of your cheeks. He didn't even dare leave the room, watching you from a corner as dry coughs racked you, because what else could he do?
He didn't think you'd get this bad overnight.
Levi barely got any sleep, even less compared to what he usually gets. But he couldn't even focus on his own fatigue as he was too stressed about you. He checked your temperature every once in a while and it was as if it only got worse every second. Water compressions would help, but even the nearest water source was too far, and he wasn't sure if it'd be wise to leave you here. So, he had to depend on what he had and pray it wouldn't run out.
He was stuck here. With you. And your face ashened with every hour.
You needed medical attention, he knew. Instantly. But there was no way to get back to the walls, it was too far. You were in no condition to journey and his only hope was that either you'd get well by the next day or backup would be sent when they hadn't returned even after 3 days.
Just a fever, it was just a fever, he told himself.
You were not going to die.
But what if you die?
And he wasn't sure why he cared, but he shook the thoughts away like they were omens. As if not thinking about it could make you feel better.
And as if it already wasn't bad enough, then came the chill. It was the end of the fall and the temperature had started to lower. But for some reason, it became especially colder that day. At least, for you it was too much.
Levi didn't think that far, you ending up like this was not part of his plan. He didn't pack things accordingly. At the end of the day, he had to clear out his own bag to find whatever piece of fabric he could find to heap on you— uncaring of the cold himself—and yet your shudderings didn't lessen one bit.
As for you, you don't remember much. But you remembered the gray, gray eyes that seemed to be always there whenever you opened your own.
-
There was fog in your brain. Parasites crawling underneath your skin. A pounding in your head.
And pain. All of it hurt so much.
You craved heat.
It was so cold. So, so cold.
Where were you again?
A relieved sigh escaped you when you felt a touch of warmth on your forehead, your eyes fluttering open.
Furrowed brows and narrowed eyes.
Captain?
"Captain?"
Levi flinched. The first sign of coherence you had shown in hours.
"Hey." Was all he said. Soft. Gentle.
He was sitting right beside your head, his palm pressed against your temple. You wondered if it was the fever haze. You have never heard him speak in that tone. He shifted to move his hand away from your head but your fingers wrapped around his wrist.
"Sorry." You mumbled. "Don't. That feels good."
His eyes widened fractionally, surprised. There was just the slightest hint of uneasiness in his expression but he didn't pull away. His fingers thread through your hair and you swear that lessened your headache by half.
How unusual it was to see him this way, you thought. For the first time in all you've known him, it appeared his face was twisted, not from irritation, but worry. The way he was looking at you, the way he talked, his fucking fingers in your hair.
"You're looking at me like I'm dying." You muttered, eyes falling shut.
"Well, you look half-dead. And you were practically dead the whole day." He pointed out.
You only gave a sheepish nod. "Bet being a nurse was the last thing on your mind when you set off."
"Yeah." He sighed. "Never imagined you'd end up like this."
"Me neither."
"You feeling better?" His voice was concerned, worried.
"Barely." You grimaced. "Better as in, I can assure you I won't die."
You pressed the back of your hand to stifle your coughs. They weren't so bad now as it had been the day before. He didn't say anything, but you felt his posture relax slightly.
"Captain?"
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry." You blurted out after a while. "I didn't mean to fuck up like this."
"I know." He said.
"Are you mad?"
"No."
"Do you think commander Erwin would be mad?"
"No."
"Oh."
You closed your eyes. Your lids felt heavy against your skin.
"...so what changed?"
"What?" There was surprise in his voice, confusion.
"You're being nice to me."
A pause. "You're sick. It's called common human decency."
You groggily shook your head. "But you hate sick." You stated.
"I do."
"And you hate me."
"I don't."
You stayed silent a while, going over his words. The fever haze was like a drunken stupor, and perhaps, that is why you said the words you did.
You sighed. "But it feels that way sometimes."
"Because I'm harsh with you?"
"You're not just harsh, you're cruel." You snorted. "You used to make me cry."
He paused. The next words were hesitant.
"I didn't think you cared. You always laughed it off." He said quietly, as if he wasn't quite sure of his own words.
"Yeah. Yeah I did." You nodded. "That doesn't mean it didn't sting."
Silence filled the space between you. You were too scared to look at him, scared of what you might see in those eyes. The same irritated scowl back again?
But no, instead his words were soft. Slow and clear.
"..I don't hate you."
You stayed silent, pondering over his words.
"No, I know." You finally said, hazily opening your eyes, he was looking down at you. His eyes weren't cold as you had feared…they were warm. The warmth touched you all the way from here. There was something else in your eyes that you couldn't quite place.
"You'd leave me to die if that was the case."
He didn't say anything.
You shook your head, you weren't really even talking to him at this point, almost as if you were talking to yourself. "You were always there." You whispered under your breath, watching him tense with every word. "I saw you. Your eyes. Wherever I go. And you always protected me. You'd yell at me later sure, but you always protected me."
Levi let out a tight breath, his jaw tightening.
"But you're always so cruel, sometimes I forget about the good parts of you." You sigh. "What about me makes you so angry, captain? What makes you so mean?"
Levi stared silently for a few seconds. He didn't know what to answer. How is he supposed to answer when he didn't even know the answer himself?
Why did you get under his skin so much?
He didn't necessarily hate you. You didn't even have to do anything and he'd still feel pissed at the sight of you. And he knew, you didn't deserve even half of how he made you feel, of the words he called you sometimes.
But why he did that, he didn't know.
From the moment, he set his eyes in you he knew. You were too overwhelming. Too much. Everything about you. You were never any less.
Talked too much. Joked too much. Laughed too much. Always. He never really quite understand how to handle you.
But he didn't hate you. You were never the problem.
Perhaps he merely hated how you made him feel.
He hated how he'd feel uneasy if you were out of his sight for too long. He hated how he felt when he saw you with someone else. He hated how his focus somehow always went back to you whenever you were in the room. And he hated how absolutely pathetic and helpless he felt when he watched you cry in agony just a few hours ago, knowing he can't do shit.
And maybe he really, really hated how his heart would beat a little too fast whenever you were near.
He could hardly breathe sometimes.
He didn't hate you.
He just didn't know what to do with the unusual things you made him feel.
.
"Rest."
Was all Levi said as he walked out, leaving you there.

Hi can I please get an Erwin x secret wife reader? Just a lot of fluff and how the scouts finds out that their commander is a married man. Thank you
homie... this is the cutest ask ever oh my god i'm fucking giggling over this and i'm not even an erwin girly
summary: erwin smith x secret wife reader: meeting, married life, and the discovery word count: 1.449 setting: canonverse fem!reader warnings: season 2 & 3 spoilers
when erwin smith met you, not even his resolve to stay away from relationships could stop him from falling in love. and somewhat unfortunately, there was no stopping you from loving him back.
frankly, your relationship was the last thing erwin wanted. being a scout, the commander of the scouts nonetheless, meant that tomorrow was never promised. with the disproportionately slim chance of surviving his career until retirement, he had made a silent promise to stay away from love. of course, meeting you changed that in spite of his better judgement...
-it was shortly after erwin had been named the new commander of the scouts. after is appointment, he often went and got a beer at this small tavern in one of sina's outlier districts so he could try to organize his thoughts
-you were the one to approach him, asking if he was alright because he looked a little dejected. erwin, always hellbent on demonstrating his strength, overcompensated a little bit and exuded a little too much of his illusive confidence
-you laughed at him and told him that he acts like a politician
-it wasn't often that someone saw through him, he found it intriguing. you talked for awhile that nigh, expecting to go your separate ways, but you ran into him there a few more times, and when you did, you would sit together and talk. eventually, you organized some cafe dates on sunday mornings. you didn't actually know who he was until your fifth or sixth meeting, which was funny to you because he never thought to mention it, and funny to him because he thought you knew all along
-you made him realize that there was more to life than discovering the unknown- that there was a lot of value in what he already had. he made you think more about your existence in the walls. you challenged each other
-within a year of meeting, you were married. you decided that if you were determined to be in a relationship, it was best that you went all in since time might end up being short
-married life with erwin doesn't always feel like married life. there's a lot of being alone for both of you while he's away on missions or in other districts for planning and other administrative tasks
-he sends you letters if he's away for more than a week. they are not very emotional letters and they don't ever detail anything specific about people, just events. but he is sure to tell you about the things he thinks you would enjoy the most- like how he saw a sunset that reminded him of one you watched together early in your relationship
-he's the type to be like "i'm not a romantic, but.." and then write something really gushy lol
-when he gets home, he likes to bake those cookies that are shaped like flowers with jam in the middle. he has mastered his family recipe for them. he feels like it's a nice way to show you how much he still cares about you after being away from home for so long
-when you're together, he tries to be very present with you. he enjoys cooking meals together and playing card games
-his love language is acts of service so he really wants to make you feel at ease when he's home because he's sure it stresses you out a lot when he isn't. he ends up doing a lot around the house, even if nothing really needs to be done. like especially on longer stretches of being home, he would start home improvement projects if there was nothing to clean or help with. somehow, he always finishes them even if it's at the expense of a decent night's sleep
-he has a home office, but he does his best to only do work after you've gone to sleep/before you wake up if it's his day off (this man is always working :( even if he doesn't have a deadline)
-you don't usually go out on the town. it's exhausting travelling as much as he does, so he likes to feel like he has a real home base and spend a lot of time there
-definitely "lets" you win arguments, but he still thinks you're wrong lol
-he is a bath man. like he spends an unhealthy amount of time in the tub if he has the time for it. he likes salts that help with soreness and he likes when you take them together so you can just talk about your day
-if you were part of something like a book club/knitting group/something where other women get together and do granny activities, erwin loves when you host. he is making cocktails/tea and hanging out with you all to get the latest gossip. he doesn't like to interact with too many of his coworkers bc he doesn't want to get attached lmao, but he loves knowing the neighborhood tea
-"ingrid, waiting for him to come to his senses is a waste of your time. you deserve someone who respects you." (needless to say, everyone loves him.)
-because of stuff like this, you aren't exactly secretly married. like your family and friends all know that you are married to the scouts' commander, they just know better than to run their mouth about it. erwin just never talks about his personal life at work
-his section commanders all know, but they were all super shocked to find out. everyone would have been up late working on a plan or something and he finally tells them to go home. someone would have asked a last minute question and he's like, "tomorrow. i'm late for dinner." and hange is the only one bold enough to be like, "haha, you got a secret wife or something?" and he just raises a thick eyebrow like "my wife isn't a secret."
-everyone was shook and waited for him to leave to talk about it and try to figure out the lore
-levi found out later, awhile after he joined the scouts when he heard everyone gossiping about you two. he pretended he didn't care but the man was shocked
-you might meet a few section commanders/captains over the years by picking him up at work for a date or eating lunch with him in his office when he's in the capital, but the introduction is always brief and it's never long enough for you to get to know anyone
-any day that you plan to visit him at work, he calls miche into his office beforehand and tells him that he's not allowed to sniff you in the event that you meet
-when erwin loses his arm and levi finds out, he's obviously pissed that he couldn't have been there to help, but all he ends up saying at first is "sucks for the mrs."
-when erwin comes home for the first time after this, he almost feels embarrassed that he can't be doing things on his own, and terrible that he can't do things for you like usual. tbh, he'd ve kind of aloof at first bc mans is avoidant, so you'd have to show him that you're not throwing in the towel
-it's a massive moment of vulnerability for him when you help him out with things that used to be second nature, like buttoning his shirt and writing. however, he spends a lot of time at home while he's healing and although there are some moments of tension, you grow together a lot
-hange would offhandedly mention you at the beginning of the events of season 3, like half joking and half curious. "you think erwin's wife is gonna leave him? he lost an arm and now he's in prison. that's gotta test the ol' vows."
-levi would glare at them in utter disbelief like ?? "honestly, shitty glasses. where do you get the nerve?" and sasha and connie would overhear and look at each other and just go off the rails trying to piece it all together, like trying to figure out if they missed signs or smth
-levi squad uses this as a distraction from the horrors of humanity within the walls :D
-overall, erwin values you and your relationship above any other relationship he has. he wants to protect you from getting attached to his coworkers because it's bad enough that you fell in love in the first place. he considers your relationship the most selfish and self indulgent thing he's taken part in, but he can't bring himself to feel remorse because you're impossible not to love and he wants you waiting for him when he gets home

Canon Levi! x fem! Reader who is his wife. She's a huge bookworm, smart and cunning. a literal fighter, and a witty woman and a kind woman with a heart of gold. I think their marriage is rare and a love-match, plus despite the differences between them as a person, they connect each other like an invisible string.
thank you <33
I'm not sure what you wanted oneshot-wise or plot-wise. So, I made a HC list instead.
Bookworm reader
Likely Levi met you at a bookstore as he went to get something for Erwin or Hange. You were running the shop and he rather liked how kind and sweet you were to him. He didn't know much about books due to a lack of them in the underground city. You helped him out so much and didn't judge him that he wanted to see you again.
Levi came to see you often and soon the talking and the advice turned to dating and then became marriage.
Levi would buy you as many books as possible. Levi might not have been a massive reader before you, but after you, he started reading a lot more and getting into books so he could share likes with you.
He enjoys the stories you tell him about your life around the city. Levi's life is the scouts since moving up top, so he doesn't know much about the world around him. You tell him about all the things going on and how strange some people can be and he loves it.
You take care of Levi because he is busy. You make him lunches and diners but he always cleans. You work together to get your home running smoothly.
You're both well off money-wise. Your shop does well and Levi's pay for being a scout is also good. So you have a rather nice home together in a quiet spot so Levi can get some rest.
Levi doesn't sleep well at all when he's at the scout base, but he sleeps okay with you. You help him when he gets nightmares and you also help him get the best night's sleep.
Levi is split between your home together and the base. He'll be at the base for a while and drop by to visit you. When they're not busy and it's mostly paperwork that needs to be done, he'll do it at your shop and at home with you. You miss each other when he has to be at the base, but as a Captain in the military, he is needed.
You and Levi work together like a well-oiled machine. Your house is always full of love and life. You take care of each other and care for each other.
No matter how far you are from each other, you have unwavering faith in each other. You believe that the other will be okay and that you will see them again. You two are connected, forever and always.

I Wish I Hated You
Tumblr media
story summary: You don't do second chances. Especially after you gave your heart to Levi Ackerman, and he decided to throw it away so the next person has to repair the damage. Will Levi put his ego aside and finally admit his feelings for you are far deeper than you imagined? Or is a second chance out of the question?
ao3
C H A P T E R S E V E N : S P I L L
Your eyes flutter open as the sun peers through your white curtains. You feel noticeably... alone. You look to your left to where Levi was when you fell asleep, now it's empty.
You let out a sigh. It was all too good to be true.
You grabbed your phone to check your texts. Nothing.
He didn't even bother to leave a fucking note.
"I'm so stupid." You say to yourself, pressing your palm to your forehead. "I really thought for just a moment that he changed."
Last night you and Levi communicated better than you have before and it was mostly in silence. Your heartbeat slowed when you fell asleep next to Levi, it was like you were back with him. You were able to be comfortable. To be yourself.
You guess he didn't feel the same.
You pad to your kitchen, grabbing a cup and ice. You make your iced coffee, hoping it will help mend the wounds that were reopened in your heart.
As you sit on your couch mindlessly scrolling through your phone, you promise yourself that you are going to tell Levi how you truly feel. No bullshit, no attitude. Either he's in this relationship, or not. He can't make you feel so safe, so seen, and then just... leave.
You decide to text Hange so you can stop thinking to yourself.
You: Come over?
Hange: Woah, you never ask me to come over. What happened?
You: I'll tell you when you get here.
When Hange arrives, she brings bagels and more coffee.
"Okay, spill." She sits on the couch.
"Levi came over last night after he had those last shots," You lean back on the couch. "I didn't invite him. He asked if he could stay and sleep in the same bed as him. But he promised he wouldn't touch me."
"And was that promise kept?"
"It wasn't because of me. We only cuddled. We barely spoke though, he seemed so... sad."
"I've known Levi for a long time." Hange clears her throat. "He's the worst at communicating, and he likes to run."
"But I've never given him a reason to run. I've always been about him." You look down at the floor. "I try to make him better. I tried to make us better."
"Has Levi told you about his mom?"
"...Not really. He always shot me down when I asked about her."
"I'll let him tell you about her. But I will tell you, the man has mommy issues. She died when he was a kid and he had to watch."
You brought your hand to your mouth. "What?"
"Yeah. Like I said, I'll let him tell you. I only know about it because Erwin told me. Actually, maybe you should talk to him too. He's like the 'Levi whisperer'."
"So he watched his mom die..." You start connecting the dots. "That doesn't excuse what he does."
"He needs patience." Hange put her hand on your shoulder. "I know it's hard to have with him. But I see the way he looks at you. The way he watches your every move."
"I gave him 2 years of my patience. Of my love. He didn't tell me any of this."
"I'm not saying he deserves forgiveness." She put her hands up. "I'm saying you need to know the whole story before cutting him off completely."
You let Hange's words sink in. Levi has been through something, obviously, and you need to know the entire story.
You decide to take a shower and get yourself ready. You were going to go to Levi's house.
Unannounced.
You glance at yourself in the mirror at the outfit you pulled together - a white tshirt with 'mom' jeans and your favorite pair of white platform converse. Your hair was in messy waves complimented by small gold hoops.
You pulled up Levi's driveway for the first time in awhile. You spot his black Range Rover so he's home.
You start to think about the memories of you and Levi stumbling into his house - drunk on nothing but your love. Levi couldn't keep his hands off you and he almost took you right on his front steps.
Knock, Knock, Knock.
Moments later, Levi is in front of you. He looks surprised to see you, but almost relieved at the same time.
"I-"
"Save it, Levi." You put your hand up. "I don't want to hear your apologies."
"So... why are you here?"
"Tell me about your mother."
Levi's eyes widened and you knew that this was the path to Levi's true emotions.

Can you do aot boys reaction to reader cheating
✩ attack on titan boys finding out you cheated ✩
✩ modern au ✩
eren jaeger is heartbroken but he's mostly pissed. he's pissed you'd do something like that, pissed somebody else had their hands on you and pissed he wasted his time. you'd be straight up dead to him and blocked on everything.
armin arlert is a wreck. he shuts down completely and isolates himself from everybody, including his best friends. he lies awake at night, begging for his pain to be alleviated. he vows to never fall in love again but him being the man he is, he does.
jean kirstein acts like he doesn't care and is cold-hearted when he dumps you. jean doesn't cry, he convinces himself that it never mattered and he'd rather be alone anyway. he goes out and sleeps with other people, trying to erase the memory of you. it ultimately doesn't work and all the other girls get tossed to the curb.
connie springer just sobs. he cries for days on end and nobody is able to console him. he starts neglecting himself. connie forgets to eat, to shower. all he does is sleep and think about you, everything else is forgotten.
reiner braun is devastated. he's entirely torn up inside. his eyes are bloodshot for weeks. he hardly eats, only picking here and there. his friends are worried for him but they're also tired of him; he only talks about you and what you've done to him. he'd do anything for you to come home.
bertholdt hoover goes numb. he can't cry, he can't yell. there's nothing that he can do except breathe. he knows he can't live in pity forever so he gathers the courage to better himself. he returns all of your things and tries to remove you from his life.
zeke jaeger goes missing for a few days. when eren decides to check on him, he finds him lying on the couch in a dark room, surrounded by piles of used tissues. his face is dry and stained with salty tears. his phone is still on, it's a picture of you. he won't give up on you.
levi ackerman is deeply offended and mortally wounded. he's the type of isolate for a few days to spend his grief in peace. after he's let everything out, he returns to the real world. he doesn't bring you up in conversation and quickly changes the subject if you're brought up. you're dead to him and he doesn't have the time for you anymore. he's not to be made a fool of.
erwin smith is more stressed than anything. of course, he's sad but the idea of living a life without you is so deeply uncomfortable for him to imagine. he can't believe that its real and that he's going to have to navigate this world without you, because you chose to fuck it all up.
porco galliard doesn't really catch your drift. he understands that you cheated but he insists that you can't leave him. he wants this to work, he needs you. he's willing to overlook it. honestly, he's a little pathetic about it all.

How do they act with a YN with a big chest ?
warning : sexual mentions (no act) and fluff ofc 💕💕

Eren Jäeger : Eren loves your chest. He likes to sleep on it, in those moments he sleep like a baby. And when you cuddle he loves to feel them on his chest. There so soft and pretty.
Armin Arlet : Like Bertold he is very shy and doesn't dare ask to touch them. But deep down he wants to put his face in it, sleep between them and smell your sweet scent.
Jean Kirschtein : Possessive of them. He can't stand someone staring at your chest for too long. So he always has a hand on you or gives you little kisses sometimes. He like how they're so soft like a blanket.
Connie Springer : He likes to put his face between your tits and rub his face in it. Weird I know but we love him anyway. He likes to catch them when he's behind you and squeeze them too.
Levi Ackerman : Levi is like Erwin, a true gentleman. He won't look at them to make you uncomfortable but in private... He sits you down on his desk then he puts his arms around your waist and buries his head inside of them.
Erwin Smith : As I always say this man is a true gentleman. He's not going to stare at your chest in public. But come home. He does whatever he wants with it, touch them, squeez them, eat them.

DATING SNK BOYS
just going back to customs <3 actually this headcanon is more like your love story was with each one, i hope you appreciate it
¡¡ mayor spoilers !! s1/2/3
levi ackerman, erwin smith, eren jeager
LEVI ACKERMAN
Tumblr media
He thought he was made for a lonely life, but meeting you changed many of his perspectives.
your love story began with a forced coexistence
he was frustrated at having to work alongside a new recruit from the military police
but your quick efficiency quite surprised him
the way you protected everyone during the expeditions caught his attention
then spontaneously you started having midnight talks
he never imagined coinciding with a person as much as he does with you
appreciates that you have left the military police to contribute to humanity through your bravery
He is a very reserved man so discovering his feelings was not an easy task, and making him talk about it was even more difficult
One of the things he likes about you is your ability to surprise him in the most unexpected ways.
you always look flawless according to him
tea tastes different if he shares it with you
He secretly enjoys when you come to his office to complete paperwork with him, sometimes loneliness tires him
He is not a man of words, his love language is acts of service and simple gifts
he is too independent in practically every aspect of his life except with you
He is very overprotective, he does not do it in a possessive way, the world in which you live forces him to take care of you
he partially disagree with you being in the survey corp, but he knows that if he met you there he won't be able to convince you to leave.
he is scared of you because you make him feel vulnerable without any explanation
not into pda, but in the privacy of your room he always prefers you to be on top of him
In terms of sex, I think Levi would agree with whatever you want to do as long as you guys are out of duty.
he is quite shy about that topic due to his lack of experience
when you sleep next to him he could look at your face for hours without getting tired
he really likes how you smell
he's actually your squad captain
your relationship caused an interesting gossip in paradis when it was discovered
hange always asks you when you are going to have children because she wants to meet her nephews and levi always looks at her horrified
he trains you personally and mercilessly because he doesn't want to lose you for anything in the world
when the female titan appearedthe fear he had for you still sends shivers down his spine
whispers I love you
one of his most intimate moments was when he had a panic attack in the middle of a storm, you witnessed his pain and helped him overcome it that day.
It was very difficult for him but he confessed to you what the memory of the death of his best friends made him feel and you comforted him like no one else
he cannot afford to be weak with humanity, he is the strongest soldier of humanity, he has a duty, but with you... your side is the only place where he feels that he is Levi Ackerman and not a soldier
dating Levi is constantly comforting each other, in order to cope with your existence in the world that you lived in
EREN JEAGER
Tumblr media
you met when you were just babies, you grew up together those peaceful years
Eren thought you were the cutest girl/boy in Paradis and he continue to think the same for the rest of his life
when your life was turned upside down in a split second you both found peace in each other's embrace.
you share a deep hatred for those who took away your freedom
the devotion you feel for him is immeasurable
from the beginning you always thought like him, the survey corp was your path before he too decided he wanted to go there
Eren confessed his love to you during training, your first kiss was adorable and awkward
dating him back then was a volatile experience, watching him die and come back as a titan stressed you out too much.
you supported him in all his decisions when he found out he was a titan
you swore loyalty..
the latent fear that he will die again haunts you
I think Eren is one of the passionate kisses
he is a hormonal teenager, has a lot of energy
He didn't mind showing you love in public
lots of kisses on the back of your hand
would be a jealous man
when you broke three ribs fighting the female titan he almost went crazy.
He is the type of boyfriend who when you get sick does not leave your side
the shiganshina operation was a before and after in your relationship
when you came back you knew something was wrong just by looking at his eyes
dating him used to be fun, dangerous adventure, you laughed and hugged
But now dating him is a permanent state of alert
he started to be more distant and aggressive towards you progressively, suddenly he no longer kisses you in public and you no longer remember when he said I love you for the last time
he broke up with you but refuses to let you go, you became so dependent on each other
There's a growing anxiety between you that you can't fix and he doesn't seem to care
suddenly he asks you to leave the army and stay away from your friends... and you listen to him because you love him more than your life
Before leaving you forever, he made sure to leave you in the safest place in the world and kiss you for the last time, without giving you any explanation.
dating eren is to miss what his love once was
ERWIN SMITH
Tumblr media
Erwin remembers being instantly attracted to your rebelliousness
the way you questioned your superiors to keep your comrades safe made him want to talk to you, you look interesting.
He started filling out paperwork with you, then walking next to you, "accidentally" bumping into you, then inviting you for tea.
when he asked you what you thought about what lay beyond the wall your answer amazed him
he knew you were the one at that moment, but his head refused to accept it as a defense mechanism
the tension that existed between both of you was overwhelming
you initiated your first kiss, making him totally lose himself with you
It didn't take you long to formalize and start walking hand in hand in public.
It was certainly inappropriate but when your superiors asked for an explanation Erwin said that working together in this way was more beneficial for the team and consequently for humanity, everyone fell for his speech
you are the couple that talks about totally strange topics that the rest don't even think about
he taught you to play chess
you taught him a card game that your family had taught you
you recommend books to each other
in fact on your days off you go to a small park to read together, usually you end up sleeping on top of him
he thinks you would be a lovely bride ...
he gave you a ring but never asked the question
you understood why
When you are on duty, you are not distracted much because your obligation is serious, but as soon as night comes...
before he was the commander you used to sneak into his room to sleep next to him
passionate kisses against the wall
In terms of sex, your greatest activity is when you return from the expeditions...you relieve stress that way
believes that red roses are the perfect flowers for you
your heart almost jumped out of your mouth when he lost his arm
he could listen to you talk all day, no matter if he is tired, badly hurt or stressed, your voice is his ground wire
you never questioned him as a commander, after all he was your superior, his speeches left you teary-eyed
you were so proud of the man you fell in love with and dreamed of marrying
until the shiganshina operation came
he ordered you as commander to stay in the rose wall, in case no one of the survey corps is left alive, but you knew that was an excuse, you couldn't believe that he was doing that to you
you begged him on your knees to let you go whit them, he didn't give in but you didn't listen to him either, after all you always had a rebellious spirit
he was speechless when he saw you among the troops, but he couldn't be mad at you on the possible day of his death, he assigned you to armin arlert's group anyway
"this could be the end of everything so why don't we go somewhere only we know" 😭
The last time you saw him in the eyes will always stay in your head.

Aunt Flo
Pairings: Survey Corps x Black!Reader
Word Count: 1052
Warnings: none
A/N: Because most of us have a very intimate experience with periods, it’s come to be a normal part of our lives; and in a sense something we’ve become desensitized to. The mood swings, the cramps, the pain, the heavy flows, the birth controls we take to stop it, etc. The list literally goes on. But disassociate, if you can, a life without periods and tell me really, which guy you’d be like if your partner had them.
Eren - lowkey disgusted, but holds it together for your sake and gets better over time.
Eren vocally gagged the first time he saw your stained underwear. He’s no stranger to blood but he’s found it quite tricky to wrap his head around vaginal bleeding. He’s patting you on your back with a broom in hopes that you’ll feel better because he’s just not that far on the emotional intelligence scale yet. But as time goes on, the more he gets used to the idea of it and while he’s still a bit iffy, he’s nowhere near as repulsed as he once was.
Tumblr media
Levi - the clean freak is not having it.
While he is an adult about the situation his efforts to ensure you, a heavy bleeder, doesn't stain anything can very easily cross over from comforting to annoying. In the beginning he’s lining your side of the bed with absorbent pads; like the ones you train your pets to pee on. But not just for sleep, you must use them for sitting as well. His hydrogen peroxide has since tripled considering he washes all the clothes for you both. But your last straw was him suggesting you wear a tampon with your pad. Levi had the physical part of things down packed. It was his sensitivity he needed training on. In time though, he becomes more considerate.
Tumblr media
Erwin - understands that it's normal and is very neutral to it all.
He isn’t rolling out the wagon with any treats or anything because it's human nature. It is literally another day for Erwin. To say he doesn’t care is an exaggeration and a bit unfair. He does care about your wellbeing, but he doesn't really view periods as a sickness or hindrance because, well, he is a realist and doesn’t think too much of it since, once again, it’s natural. So long as you’re not in any physical pain, he’s fucking off to work somewhere. The most you’ll get out of him is herbal tea and extra forehead kisses; a back massage if you’re lucky.
Tumblr media
Connie - The learner; literally tell him everything there is to know.
The first time Connie saw you stain the sheets from your vag of all places, he thought you were dying. He was literally two thirds of the numbers in from dialing 911 when he woke up to such a scene. That was top three funniest reasons you ever woke up laughing, and on your period no less. Even though he’s unfamiliar about most things aunt flo, teaching him has been an absolute joy because he’s genuinely interested and keeps you cackling. You’ve taught Connie the ins and outs alongside your personal preferences for such a time. And with his piquing interest eventually the grasshopper became the master; oftentimes pre-empting your visit before you get the chance to - and accurately at that.
Tumblr media
Jean - another neutral one who doesn’t too much care for the occasion.
Jean carries on as usual in his daily activities. Periods don’t bother him and he understands that the only effective way he can help is gonna be followed by 18 years of child care. Therefore he lets you keep to yourself and tries his best to stay out the way to avoid making you any crankier. It isn't until he overhears Sasha and Mikasa talk about what a perfect period would look like for them does he get a light bulb moment to interfere a little. Jean still leaves you be for the most part, and he's still off doing whatever it is that he does, but he has made an effort to shower you in a few comfort items when the time comes.
Tumblr media
Onyankopon - the know it all.
While you are grateful for such an intelligent man, you’ve come to dread the month for two reasons now. Ony, for whatever reason, actually knows more about the topic than you do, treating each month as a biology lesson on why the uterus sheds its lining “every 23-35 days” and the benefits behind it. That big beautiful brain of his is something that you wholeheartedly adore, but just not during aunt flo. In fact, it’s you who evades him. Eventually he comes to understand that it may not be the most appropriate time for in depth learning, but still comes prepared with a fun fact or two.
Tumblr media
Reiner - moral support is the best he can offer you at this time.
Reiner just about doubles over at the idea of blood shed, even if this one is quote on quote natural for you. He doesn't find it disgusting but after all the fighting he’s done, he simply cannot take it. That, coupled with the idea that it brings you pelvic pain, tender breasts, and ongoing headaches? The man is practically in agony right alongside you; bedridden and anxious. He may prove useless for the time being, but he tends to shower you with gifts and good loving afterwards to make up for his squeamish ways.
Tumblr media
Armin - he is the boyfriend these bitches can only dream of having.
Armin literally tracks your period so that he can know exactly when to expect aunt flo. He’ll have movies, hot compresses, and snacks on standby. In fact he installed a shelf in the bedroom, chocked full of goodies and essentials you’re bound to need for that time of the month. You want a massage? Hot oils are on the lower left. You forgot to restock your pads, he’s got an emergency pack all the way to the bottom. Cramps are killing you? Middle right is where you’ll find a selection of pain meds to choose from depending on the level of aching you’re currently experiencing. He is the definition of prepared and is willing to wait on you hand and foot.
Tumblr media
Floch - the complainer.
You have cramps and can't be touched? Suddenly you no longer love him. Sex is a no go for you at this time? Maybe he’ll just combust of blue balls instead. Cravings on an all time high? Well you ate his snacks too. The saying that men catch their pregnant wives' symptoms rings all the more true for Floch during your periods. He gets just as cranky, hungry, and even once complained of tender joints. Its safe to say you want to slap him most months.
