i was chatting with the regional manager today at work. she opened with "are they ever going to fill [former fellow trainer who switched to another department]'s position?" and the answer seems to be "no," since apparently brenna can do it, right? which i basically said.

boss told me that person moving positions would definitely "not mean more work" for me, and then i got forwarded training tickets for the positions that person used to train. and then boss told me i'd probably not be training in person as much, which i thought was kind of the point of me? but hey. everybody loves virtual (eye roll).

and regional manager was like, "you know, i'm hiring a manger at the [city name] office, right? think about it." i feel appreciated, but i will not think about it. practice manager is a thankless position with no overtime pay, and even if i did want it, i'm not commuting an hour. but thanks for thinking of me. i'll train a thousand more people first, but thanks.

dear lea drunktuesdays - what’s the etymology of robsessed again? it pops into my head from time to time and it makes me laugh.

baby like every single turn of phrase that entered my vocabulary since roughly 2008, it came from @rubdown and i think the rob in robsessed is robert pattinson. but it feels so right on the tongue, doesn't it. it's a higher order...you can be obsessed with some things, but other brainworms....it can only be a robsession.

i had an absolute blast writing this scene for my hannah montana au (every part of me)

Frantically looking around the room, Crowley’s eyes landed on the table bursting with treats. A desperate plan formed on his mind. Without a moment's hesitation, he lunged for the coconut cream pie, shutting his eyes tightly before plunging his face in its velvety texture. He hoped the sight of his face covered in white would divert Aziraphale's attention away from the truth he was so avidly trying to conceal, should his friend sneak a glance at him. "Good Lord. Did- Did you just… smear pie all over your face?" Oh, the agony of hearing that voice, slightly concerned yet laced with mockery, and not being able to retort with a clever comeback of his own. "Not pie," Crowley managed to utter, trying to sound nonchalant despite the sticky mess covering his face, "it's… uh… moisturiser."

starting a new post because the other one got long.

Favorite smell: there are way too many favorite smells. maybe i'll pick a few? lilac, coffee, garlic, petrichor

Weirdest fact: gosh, who knows? there's lots of weird things about me. you'll have to be more specific. depends how well you know me? my usual go to is that i have an iguana. if you know me better ask my about my ex, lol, there's a lot there.

Fav and least fav jelly bean: favorite is the pink one. idk what flavor it's supposed to be, but the classic jelly bean pink. leave fave is black licorice

What color socks: right now? grey with plaid deer on them. i think they were originally xmas socks but idgaf

Most interesting thing on to do list: idk. buy my wife's bday present? it's fun buying gifts, but i am a little behind on this task (less than two weeks left)

A number: 72. i screamed it in class once, and it was a really embarrassing story for me for a long time. i've reclaimed it now, though, and the story is funny.
