Ich wollte mal nachschlagen, was die Bedeutung der Kamelie in der Blumensprache sei, und das erste was ich fand, war dieses wunderbare Zitat:

"Nur einen Tadel hat die Kameliablume; sie ist geruchlos."

Alexander Bixio, "Der Landwirth des neunzehnten Jahrhunderts, oder das Ganze der Landwirthschaft, Teil 6: die Gärtnerei, nebst einem Überblick über das Gartenwesen von Europa überhaupt und einem vollständigen Gartenkalender"

Und ich fand die Idee, dass der erblindete Leshy die Blumen seines Reiches nicht mehr auf irgendeiner Weise genießen könnte, irgendwie ansprechend, also musste ich das einfach mal zeichnen.

(P. S. In der Blumensprache steht die Kamelie für Dauer der Hingabe, Dankbarkeit und Harmonie)

I wanted to check what the camellia means in flower language, and the first thing I came across was this lovely quote:

"The camellia flower has but one flaw; it is without scent."

And the idea, that the blind Leshy could never again fully enjoy the flowers of his domain, wouldn't leave my mind, so I had to draw it.

Volevo controllare quale fosse il significato della camelia nel linguagggio dei fiori, per vedere se centrasse in qualche modo in Cult of the Lamb, e la prima cosa che ho trovato è stata questa adorabile citazione:

"La camelia ha un'unica pecca: non ha profumo"

e l'idea che l'accecato Leshy non possa mai più godere dei fiori del suo regno non mi voleva lasciare la testa. Così ho disegnato questo.
