Unrequited Echoes of the Heart
Pairing: Gojo Satoru x fem reader
Characters: Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, Shoko Ieiri, a random perfect girl
Genre: Angst
Warnings: Delulu, unnoticed reader, angst?
Tumblr media
It is an undeniable fact that walking down the hallway during break time was the best moment of the day. Why? Some people say it's because they can finally get their ass out of the classroom, walk to the toilet and finally take the shit they held in for hours. While some say they get to gossip among their cool friends. Well, in your case, you get to watch your crush from afar.
Tumblr media
"Haaaah~ Class is finally over." Shoko, who is sitting right next to you spoke and yawned at the same time, making it inaudible.
"..." You were staring at her, but it is obvious your mind is wandering elsewhere.
"What's wrong? Anything on my face?" She grabbed the travel mirror from your bag to inspect her own face, making sure there was nothing weird on it.
"Do you still remember Gojo?"
"Huh? That tall ass guy from our class last year?" She closed the travel mirror, handing it back to you.
"Yeah."
"Yeah, what's with him?" She had her elbow on the table, propping up her chin, looking at you.
"I think I like him." You said with a straight face while arranging your messy desk.
"What???" Her eyes widen, looking at you unbelievably.
"What do you like about him? His looks? His height? His personality? This is so sudden what the hell?"
"Maybe all." Your lips curled up looking at her disgusted face.
"But, didn't you have a crush on him last year already? Why him again this year?"
"Shoko, you know how much I want a boyfriend. Everyone already has their own. Including you." You gave her an eye roll sarcastically.
"And you know what happened. You got rejected." She sarcastically returned the sarcasm.
"..."
"Get your ass up, I wanna see him. He's probably playing badminton with Geto." You stood up while pulling Shoko's right arm together.
"Ugh, I hate you so much."
"I love you too."
We walked to the badminton court, sitting in the resting area. There are a total of 6 badminton courts available, and we chose the seat closest to the court Gojo and Geto are playing.
He has a smile radiant with happiness, sometimes he will show his white and shiny teeth when he grins after hitting a smash. He looked pretty from every angle. His height, his facial features, his body shape, everything about him is ideal. Maybe that's why you were attracted to him once again, after a cruel one-sided heartbreak.
"Oi, stop staring. You're making it super obvious." Shoko is trying to look for the positive points on Gojo that attracted my attention. She can't understand why people like him. He's an asshole, causing trouble in class, loud, and inelegant. She can't find anything better than his looks and height.
"Shoko, do you think I have a chance with him?" I turned to her, hope glimmering in my eyes.
"Umm... Probably no- I mean, 50/50." She looked guilty when she said that. She knows very well what happened last year will repeat, but she doesn't want to hurt your feelings by being too straightforward.
-And this is when your delulu started-
"Shoko! Shoko! I saw him 3 times today in the hallway!!"
"Shoko! I had 0.000000001 millisecond eye contact with him today ahhhhhhhh!!!"
"Shoko he turned to look at me!!"
"..."
Shoko gave up. It's already the second week, she had to bear all your tiny tiny interactions(??) with Gojo, every single day. The way you blushed when he walked past you, the way your eyes followed his back until his silhouette disappeared around the corner. She had enough, she needs to stop this torture. Without you knowing, she went to Geto after school. They are actually childhood friends so they're pretty close together.
"Geto." Gojo was absent on that day, so she turned his chair around to face Geto.
"Hmm? Need anything?" He shifted his sight from the book in his hand to Shoko, who is sitting right in front of him.
"Yeah, very important." She got a deep breath before continuing.
"Do you still remember Y/N?"
"Yeah, I see her almost every day, in the resting area with you."
"I need your help." She looked into his eyes firmly, as if it's a situation between life and death.
"Y/N has a huge crush on Gojo. Again."
"... I think she took 'never give up' too seriously." He chuckles, covering up the book in his hand and put it on his desk.
"Agreed. So are you helping or not? And What is the percentage of succeeding?"
"I'm afraid it's impossible. But I'll try my best."
"Ugh, I also have the same thought, but I don't want to make her sad again. She looks so happy having delusional thoughts."
"I'll see what I can do."
Shoko thanked him and walked back home that day. Although she's prepared you won't be getting your happy ending after what Geto said, but she still has faith in Geto helping you out.
Another normal day, same routine. The bell rang, you and Shoko walked to the resting area. You were expecting Geto and Gojo to play together. Instead, you saw another girl right beside Gojo, playing with him. Both of them were teaming up against Geto. She was pretty. Her straight and black shoulder-length hair. Her facial features. Her body shape. She caught your eyes easily, not because she was standing right beside Gojo, but because of herself. Looking from afar, you can feel Gojo smile more than usual. You thought she was just there for fun, so you dismissed the thought of Gojo having an interest in her. The next day, she's still there. The day after, she's also there. She was there for the whole week. You started to see her walking around with Gojo every time you walk past them. She'd sometimes look for Gojo in his classroom even though she is 1 year older than us. You weren't bothered, she may have feelings for Gojo too, but Gojo wouldn't return his feelings. He rejected so many girls, including you. There's no way he'll out of nowhere have interest in this senior.
Good times always come to an end. The moment you realised Gojo always waited for her to keep her badminton equipment before going back to his classroom, even though he had already packed everything up and was ready to go back before her. It made your heartache. You knew damn well you shouldn't be feeling this. He isn't yours. Your delusional thoughts are corrupting your mind, making you think he wouldn't be in love with someone else. You thought one day you'll be the one staying by his side, admiring his smile not from afar any more, but right beside him. In reality, there he is, waiting for her, walking with her every single day. And that girl isn't you.

What book that you had to read for school have you hated the most?
lord of the flies
because i just. dislike that book
like
it's just. i really dislike it
Context:
I first determined i disliked the lord of the flies before i read it
I read a book called Humankind: A Hopeful History by Rutger Bregman and in that book he talks about how there was a real lord of the flies situation and it did not, in fact, end in chaos and death
I didn't want to say i disliked it without having actually read it, so i read the book
then, a month later i had to read it for school
fast forward a few more months, i am writing an argumentative essay for the same class and I decide to write it on why humans are actually usually good deep down (mainly as a way to convince myself later on when i was in doubt)
here is an excerpt from the lord of the flies part of my essay, in case you were wondering what i meant about there being a real situation:
....This provides evidence for the idea that humans are born with a preference for good. Some skeptics, upon hearing this, will immediately reference one story, saying, “Well, if kids are supposed to be showing how innocent people really are, then how about the invidious children in the Lord of the Flies? They were savages the second that they were rid of adults. Their belligerence shows the true bellicose way of mankind.” This is simply not true. First-- the Lord of the Flies is a fictional book written by a bitter, devout alcoholic, a man who considered the book to be “a joke,” (Carey), and second-- Lord of the Flies happened in the late 60s, and the outcome is nothing like what Golding had thought would happen. Lord of the Flies is a book about a group of British school-boys, at the beginning of a fictitious world war. The boys are stranded on a deserted island, with no adults, after their plane is shot down. The boys agree that they will survive, have fun, and keep a signal fire burning until they are rescued. Eventually, the boys split into two “tribes” after the fire goes out and there are differing priorities. Three boys are dead, two murdered, and the forest is set on fire, before a British naval officer spots the smoke and comes to rescue the boys. After the officer’s comment about expecting more from the boys, Ralph, the leader of the pack, breaks down and starts to sob. “...Ralph wept for the end of innocence, [and] the darkness of man's heart…” (Golding 202). Lord of the Flies is meant to show that, without society, humans are infantile, savage beasts who will immediately resort to violence and brutality the second they have the chance. This, though, is a fictional book. While many people believe Golding’s work accurately depicts human nature, it has been proven to be wrong. In 1966, a group of six Tongan boys were found and rescued from an uninhabited island. They had left their boarding school with an agenda of escaping to Fiji on a fishing boat, when a storm hit; their sail was in tatters, and their rudder broken. For eight days the boat drifted, and the boys’ food supply depleted. They used coconut shells to gather rainwater, then split it evenly.  When the boys finally saw land, it was the uninhabited, rocky island of ‘Ata. They were stranded there for just over a year. By the time they were rescued, by Australian ship captain, Peter Warner, they had set up “a small commune with food garden, hollowed-out tree trunks to store rainwater, a gymnasium with curious weights, a badminton court, chicken pens, and a permanent fire, all from handiwork, an old knife blade and much determination.” (Warner 19). In Lord of the Flies, the boys could not keep their fire going and that became the start of the conflict. On the island of ‘Ata, the six boys kept a fire going from three months after they were stranded, to the day they were rescued. Any conflict that they had was resolved by having the feuding pair go to two respective parts of the island, and come back to apologize when they calmed down. There were no battles or extreme arguments, and the only injury was when one boy fell off a cliff, breaking his leg. The boys used sticks to set his leg and it healed with no permanent damage, confounding doctors who would later examine them. This was a real life example of boys being left to fend for themselves with no adults on a deserted island, and they behaved perfectly. This is still not enough to convince the cynics of the world....
anyway
yeah.

Category:F/M
Fandom: Seventeen (SVT) (boyband)
Relationships: ! Next door neighbor Junhui x ! Next door neighbor f reader
Summary: And that’s how the boy next door became so much more than just a neighbor.
Trope: The boy next door
---
Hiiiii everyone who is reading! Welcome to the Fouth installment of my new mini series called "Oi! Not this again!" They do not have to be read together or in order! I hope you all enjoy!
---
Have you ever had that feeling where something, or in this case, someone, so simple and everyday changes your entire world? That’s exactly what happened the day I finally noticed Wen Junhui, the boy next door.
---
I remember the first time I really saw him. Not just in passing, not just as a neighbor, but truly saw him. It was a sunny Saturday morning, and I had decided to get some fresh air and read outside. My backyard is always a quiet haven – the perfect place to escape into a good book.
As I sat there, sinking deeper into the fictional world, I heard a rustle from the other side of the fence. Curiosity got the better of me, and I peeked through a gap in the wooden structure. And there he was – Jun, as his friends call him.
Jun was busy tending to his garden, completely immersed in his work. I must have watched for a good ten minutes before he looked up and noticed me staring. Embarrassed, I ducked my head back and pretended to become suddenly fascinated with my book.
"Hey, Y/N, right?" Jun's voice called out, smooth and friendly.
Cautiously, I peeked over the fence again, a shy smile creeping onto my face. "Yeah, that's me. And you’re Jun?"
He nodded, his bright smile lighting up the morning even more. "Nice to formally meet you. I don’t think we’ve ever really talked."
---
Our little conversation over the garden fence became the start of many more frequent and casual interactions. Jun would wave whenever he saw me outside, and sometimes we would chat about the weather, gardening tips, or whatever mundane thing came to mind. I found myself looking forward to these small pockets of interaction – they were like a sprinkle of stardust on my otherwise ordinary days.
One day, as the afternoon sun dipped lower, Jun came over to the fence with a basket of fresh tomatoes from his garden. "Hey, Y/N! Do you like tomatoes?"
I looked at the basket, eyes widening at how vibrant and juicy they looked. “I love them! Thank you.”
He handed me the basket, our fingers brushing slightly, sending an unexpected thrill down my spine. "You should come over sometime. I can show you the rest of the garden and maybe give you some gardening tips."
---
That weekend, I took Jun up on his offer. His garden was a sanctuary of colors and scents. Flowers of all kinds bloomed, and there were neat rows of vegetables. It was clear how much care and attention he put into it.
“Wow, this place is amazing,” I said, genuinely in awe.
Jun beamed with pride. “Thanks, Y/N. Gardening is like therapy for me. It’s my escape.”
We spent the rest of the day chatting as he showed me around. I learned that he loved cats, was in college studying art, and had a quiet but infectious laugh. Talking to him was as easy as breathing – everything just felt right.
As the evening rolled in, Jun walked me back to my house. “Do you play badminton?” he asked out of the blue.
I raised an eyebrow. “It’s been ages, but yeah. Why?”
“Because I need a partner for a friendly match sometime,” he said with a playful grin.
---
Our badminton matches became a regular thing. Every weekend, we’d meet in his backyard where he had set up a makeshift badminton court. Sometimes, we’d get so caught up in the game that we’d lose track of time, playing until the stars peeked out from the sky.
One fine evening, after a particularly intense game, we collapsed onto the grass, panting and laughing. “I swear you’re getting better at this just to beat me,” Jun teased.
“Maybe I am,” I replied, giggling. “Or maybe you’ve always underestimated me.”
He looked at me then, his expression softening. “I could never underestimate you, Y/N.”
My heartbeat quickened as our eyes locked. The air seemed to thicken around us, filled with words unsaid. And then, as if sensing the moment, Jun’s phone buzzed, snapping us out of whatever was happening.
---
Weeks turned into months, and our friendship grew deeper. We began spending time in other ways – watching movies, studying together, or just hanging out and talking late into the night.
One cozy autumn night, as we sat on his porch sipping hot chocolate, Jun’s eyes met mine and held their gaze. “Y/N, can I tell you something?”
“Of course, what’s up?”
He took a deep breath, eyes earnest and serious. “I feel like I’ve known you forever. And these past months have been some of the best in my life. I… I think I’m falling for you.”
Time seemed to stand still. The world faded, leaving just the two of us. I felt warmth blossom in my chest, happiness bubbling up. “Jun, I feel the same way.”
His eyes lit up, and a slow, genuine smile spread across his face. “Really?”
“Really.”
He reached out, taking my hand in his. Our fingers intertwined naturally, as if they were always meant to fit together. We sat there, hand in hand, under the blanket of stars, knowing that this was just the beginning of something beautiful.
---
And that’s how the boy next door became so much more than just a neighbor. Jun and I found something special, built on simple moments and shared smiles. Sometimes, the best things in life happen when you least expect them.

Hell Week (aka Mother's day week) is done so I can finally come back to this ^^ Thanks for the tags @lilmaemae and @ella-norah 💚
Do you tidy your bed?
No XD my bed is a giant nest and one of the house rule is "if you are looking for one of my belonging, look in the bed and at the computer desk first, then under a cat." 🤣
What's your favorite number?
I don't really have one but I don't like 27, its taste is just weird and I can't wait for my birthday just to leave 27 behind me
What is your job?
I'm a florist^^ I've been for 4 years now after I decided to quit college after my english degree.
If you could go back to school, would you?
No. I love to learn new things but school is a place with most of the worst memories (and a few bests too) . I had to go back to school for my florist diploma and the age gap made it really difficult add to this I'm bat at social interactions. If i considered going back to school it would be College for a translation master degree or do research around gender studies
Can you parallel park?
I love to. Fun fact: I parallel park better than other "easy" park 🤣
A job you had that would surprise people?
I worked for almost a year in a high court. First few months was photocopying files and giving them to lawyers and others asking for them. And then I moved to registry. It was a really fun work and made me realize you can write about anything crime related, it can never reach reality without having someone tell you "that's unrealistic"
Do you think aliens are real?
yes, the universe can't be so big without having more about it. maybe they don't exist in a way we can comprehend but there has to be something
Can you drive a manual car?
Yes. I've been for more than 8 years now. Manual cars are the standard around here.
What's your guilty pleasure?
collecting/hoarding books that I know I won't read XD because all my reading brain goes to ao3 and reading in english
Tattoos?
so far I have one of my tuxedo cat scratching my leg.
Now I'm waiting for money for the others. I already have one planned in memory of my 3 buns, just need to decide the flowers I want to go with it and find a tattoo artist specialized in watercolor tattoo.
the other one will be on my right forearm with an arrow with aroace colors and zodiacal signs ^^
Favorite color?
Malachite or emerald green
Favorite type of music?
It depends on the mood. If I want my brain to quiet down a little I'll listen to death metal or any "screaming" music. But if you look at my playlists it is just a mash up of everything. It goes from classical to rock to metal to pop and so on.
(Okay, let's be real for a second too: Jeff Satur is really taking over my music. I need him to give me back my soul)
Do you like puzzles?
i love them. The logic behind solving them is really soothing. With my sister we also try to have regular jigsaw puzzle afternoon ^^
Any phobias?
I wouldn't say it's a phobia but I can't stand slugs. I love snails but slugs? can't see them, can't touch them.
Favorite childhood sport?
i liked badminton at school or running but things like sprint. There's something brrrr about trying to go as fast as you can in a really short distance.
Do you talk to yourself?
all the time
What movie(s) do you adore?
thrillers? I don't know 🤣 I read this question and suddenly I'm unable to remember what I watch.
I don't really watch movies anymore because I don't have the focus to stay in front of them so most of the time it's my sister picking one and I "half" watch while scrolling on my phone or writing (and then I ask too many questions about the movie because it's good but I have no idea what happened)
Coffee or Tea?
Both
First thing you wanted to be growing up?
A veterinarian but then I did an internship and realized I couldn't handle some of the emotionnal sides of the job. But now I'm involved in animal welfare, I'm also a foster family for exotic pets and working on opening an educational farm 🤣 so... I didn't really go far from my first idea, just changed how I wanted to help animals.
I have no idea who to tag so if you see this and want to do it, feel free to say I tagged you

Thank you for the tag(!! @goodsirbeasts
do you make your bed?
Yes, I fold the blanket into a little box and put the pillow on top of it. If its the weekend or I'm going away on trips, I put my stuffed animals in front of the blanket...
What's your favourite number?
4 or 5, birth dates
What is your job?
Give me a job, anything, pls give me a job. I'm a student, I'm jobless.
If you could go back to school would you?
Highschool? Hell no. Undergrad? Yes. But please let me major in sth different this time around.
Do you parallel park?
I can parallel park my bike...
A job you had that surprise people
Give me a job, pls, give me a job...
Do you think aliens are real?
Yes, but our first contact will probably be with some alien bacteria or other microscoptic life forms. Like what the author argued for in the Andromeda Strain.
Can you drive a manual car?
Can't drive.
What's your guilty pleasure?
uh, I don't really have guilt for anything I enjoy anymore(?? But if I have to say, probably eating the McCoy's crisps. Because I insist on licking it first and then eat it. That's why I don't eat them in public, anything worth doing is worth doing right and I want maximal enjoyment for every pence I spend.
Tattoos?
Nah, none, afraid of pain. Also can't settle on sth that I won't regret.
Favourite colour?
Used to be blue, now is purple. I frequenly walk around dressed like a bruise. Or a plum.
Favourite type of music?
I can appreciate basically anything that's not heavy metal or hip-hop, and have favourite artists in many genres. But perhaps folk (traditional ballads, shanties, acoustic ones written in the last century, blues influeced, country-ish, and cowboy trail songs, they all count). It's basically the only kind of music that I sing to myself on a daily basis. Ah for just one time...🎶
Do you like puzzles?
No... I hate them. I don't even like doing jigsaws. Don't have the patience for it. It just doesn't engage me for some reason.
Any phobias?
Insect phobia in general, but especially ones that can fly and big enough for me to notice their anatomy. Just get away from me thank you very much. Also deep sea. I read and write about the sea but I can't swim. I dived one time in the red sea and it freaked me out. Danger danger everywhere and even in clear water on a sunny day, vision is obstructed. Ominous deep blue all around where danger could strike at any moment, falling until you are crushed by water and never touches ground. I really thought I was going to drown back there. Also a serious case of trypophobia, I cannot deal with small holes...
Favourite childhood sport
Badminton, play it with an imaginary net to separate an imaginary court and can never agree on if the shuttlecock is over the net or out of the court, consult imaginary judge. On weekends used to go to the stadium and rent a court with my parents. I am not good but I put my life on the line playing it.
Do you talk to yourself?
When do I not.. I usually am talking to my alter ego Alberto who is also my journal and refer to us collectively using a royal we.
What movies do you adore?
Nostalghia (1983) - Tarkovsky, very dear to me, as someone who left their home country at a young age and have always felt the language and cultural barrier to be insurmontable. But also the hope and longing and things I cannot name in that movie... The only movie that gave me a breakdown.
Stalker (1979) - Tarkovsky, loved the book too, but this film was literally perfect to me. Haven't watched it in years, should tho.
Velvet Goldmine (1998) - Todd Haynes, this is the film that changed me fundamentally as a person, when I was fourteen, watching it on my phone at lunch break. That could be me that could be me that could be me, I thought. It wasn't the gayness, it's seeing people wearing what they want and acting how they want without shame and fear of ridicule, and how it is actually possible. Never seen anything like it. Nowadays that weird, awkward, quiet and also slightly ominous kid in the corner has come out with their velvet and suede and feathers and corduroy flared trousers, and they are all the better for it.
Monty Python & The Holy Grail (1975), no words needed, comrade... What doesn't it have? Holy hand grenade, coconut shell horses, and a question about the carrying capacity of an african swallow.
Coffee or Tea?
Tea, always. Loose leaves please, brewed in a proper teapot. It is my dream to continue my family tradition, existing and chatting over a pot of tea. The first thing when we step past the threshold: "tea?" "yes." Would love to have all my friends around for tea, but they are mostly coffee or non-beverage people.
First thing you wanted to be growing up?
Indiana Jones.

15 questions for 15 mutuals
I was tagged by @rebouks 💜(My answers are long so I apologize LOL)
are you named after anyone? I’m not named after anyone, but I’m named after this song (Have a Little Faith in Me by John Hiatt). It’s my parents wedding/couple song and since I’m their first kid together (I have an older sister but we don’t have the same dad) they wanted to name me after their get-together song, so my middle name is Faith… I honestly think this is one of the coolest facts about me because I love music and to also be named after a song is a flex imo
when was the last time you cried? A few months ago I cried after I failed to find parking downtown while on my way to a field trip for one of my graphic design classes. It sounds pathetic and insignificant but for a suburban girl with little familiarity driving in the big city and multiple anxiety disorders, it was exceptionally difficult to keep my brain from imploding on itself. I parked in a spot close to the building’s entrance only to find it was reserved for long-term parking and there was absolutely no more parking spaces available, even along the street. So after 45 minutes of searching (and 30 minutes after I was supposed to have arrived) I decided to call it quits and went home… I got myself some bubble tea on the way to help cheer myself up but I still cried in my bathroom with my cat. I really wanted to go to this field trip but I couldn’t because of how inaccessible it was. I really hate driving in the city 👎
do you have kids? Nope, just my cats. I don’t want any human kiddos either. I’ve got many reasons why, but basically my older sister has 3 grade-school age kiddos and as much as I love them they’re a lot of work and I’ve learned over the years that I kinda don’t want to dedicate my life to a helpless person. I want my life to be about me.
do you use sarcasm a lot? I use it mostly with my friends and family members lol. Not all strangers understand how hilarious I am
what sports do you play/have you played? I used to be in dance and basketball when I was a kid, but after I chipped my front tooth in basketball practice my mom wouldn’t let me go back so not anymore. Nowadays I walk but Idk if that’s considered a sport lol. I enjoy playing badminton though; it’s so so fun (just wish we had a court around here; it’s not very popular where I live).
what’s the first thing you notice about other people? Their general personality, I guess. What someone is wearing and how they talk and move really says a lot about a person and it’s usually the first thing I notice.
eye colour? Blue
scary movies or happy endings? I don’t mind a thriller every once in a while but I generally tend to prefer happy endings
any special talents? My special talent is being incredibly awkward 👍
where were you born? Minnesota (US); born and raised
what are your hobbies? Besides the Sims I draw, paint, and write (as in authoring books/short stories you can read). I actually have a website/portfolio where I have my favorite creations if you wanna check it out: https://resplendent.carrd.co/
do you have any pets? Yep, two cats 🥰 Lacey, my brown tabby and white girl and Oskar, my fluffy long-haired tuxedo boy!
how tall are you? About 5′4″ or 163 cm
fave subject in school? Based on my hobbies said above, I think you can probably guess that it’s art lol. I took all the painting and drawing classes in high school.
dream job? A job where the hours are flexible and I’m not staring at the clock all day... Something that keeps me busy all day while not being too hard on the body.
Tagging @simelune @estah @glowbloom and anyone else who wants to do this 💜 (but you can ignore)

16 questions for 16 mutuals 🎶
Thank you darlings @purplejan @nickysjaida @aqpippin for tagging me!
1. are you named after anyone?
Not initially, but shortly after my birth my mother read a book where the serial killer had my name and always said that was a bad omen since then.
2. when was the last time you cried?
December 27th :)
3. do you have kids?
Naurr
4. do you use sarcasm a lot?
Yess and i always end up apologising immediately after in fear it doesn’t translate …
5. whats the first thing you notice about people?
The way they talk? I very quickly pick up on speech patterns and shit and love to analyse them!
6. What’s your eye color?
Brown, Hazel on a sunny day
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
Scary movies with disturbing plots and bittersweet endings!!!
8. Any special talents?
Uhm, kind of a sad one but I’m really good at lying? Like my lies to my parents growing up have been surprisingly solid, even tho the guilt would eat me up hard …
9. Where were you born?
*war flashbacks to hours spent in the immigration office* G… Germany ..
10. What are your hobbies?
Writing, Sewing, Drawing, watching old Lady Gaga performances and doing the choreo in my living room, a nice slow video game sometimes, generally being very annoying to the people around me
11. do you have any pets?
Back at home my family has a dog and a bunch of chickens (my daughters). Here in the great white north i mostly give neighbourhood pets so much attention that they love me more than their owners, but sadly no pets of my own yet …
12. what sports do you play/have played?
Tried lots or things as a kid, my mom was very insistent that we always did at least two sports … Ballet, Hip Hop, played lots of soccer on the schoolyard, was part of a handball team for a few years, then finally found kickboxing and loved that for almost five years. Had to quit cause my trainer said some homophobic shit and the disagreement had the potential to really blow up, but i miss it a lot. Lately I’ve been back to dancing, taking some striptease classes and all, but I’m hoping to find a boxing studio that has a kick or thai boxing class and is inclusive and safe for me :) apart from that i went skiing a lot with my family, used to join my dad at the badminton court and also went hiking quite a lot. Oh and i was part of a small school swim team as a kid that actually once won a competition! But that was a one time thing, we trained for that competition for a few weeks and then parted afterwards. But yeah I did lots of stuff for sure …
13. how tall are you?
5‘10‘‘
14. favorite subject in school?
Philosophy, duh
15. dream job?
Would love to be able to live off of performance art one day…
16. sunsets or sunrise?

What’s so SPECIAL in JULY?
Apart from our Anniversaries - the day we met online on the 18th, 20 years ago and our wedding in The Philippines, 12 summers earlier …
This year we had a back-to-back celebration.
Tumblr media
Back in 2003 … Love 💕 🥰💕
Tumblr media
Our Wedding, Fernwood Gardens, QC The Philippines 🇵🇭
I love sports … from gymnastics to cycling, basketball to football badminton and tennis.
And naturally, it has been a dream of mine to watch it live in action! I thought that it would be an experience to watch one of the four grand slam tournaments in Tennis 🎾 namely the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open.
It began three years ago when I’ve been submitting my application to the PUBLIC BALLOT LOTTERY to purchase tickets to the fortnight games …
Tumblr media
I was surprised when I received an e-mail from AELTC because Tickets to this sporting event is so freaking expensive!!!
Tumblr media
I checked and looked at all the dates and I cannot find a-seated-together tickets but one, at the Ladies’ Finals on Day 15 😍!
We were able to see three matches on Centre Court that day.
Tumblr media
Ladies’ Finals, Vondrousova vs Jabeur
Tumblr media
Gentlemen’s Doubles, Skupski & Koolhop vs Granollers & Zeballos
Tumblr media
Invitational, Ladies’ Doubles Kim Clijsters & Martina Hingis
It never occurred to me that there is something at WIMBLEDON, a sense of calmness and a relaxed atmosphere. There is quiet and respect altogether. Attentive ground team, orderly queuing, distinctly uniformed and courteous officers. A real ENCAPSULATED BRITISHNESS.
youtube
SIMPLY THE BEST … This is one experience we will never forget!!!
In January this year, Martin saw an advertisement regarding the concert of André Rieu in the summer. I searched for dates and plans at André Rieu Travel.
It has been in our bucket list for years, and this time we had the chance to book his concert at The Vrijthof, Maastricht in The Netherlands 🇳🇱.
Tumblr media
Our first concert after The Pandemic!
Every summer he and his orchestra Johann Strauss had three weeks to play in his hometown before they head out to tour all over the world.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, we were there to watch this enthralling musical experience …
youtube
Last night was a blast … we had a great time at André Rieu & the Johann Strauss Orchestra at The Vrijthof, Maastricht.
