From the very beginning, there was something peculiar about the game. Sundrop, the dacycare attendant, acted strangely towards me, pleading for me not to delete it again and referring to me as a dev. However, it was Moondrop's behavior that heightened my suspicions that something was amiss.

So, i have heard about moondrop,and that apparently, it's got quite the reputation for being a real fear-inducer. I mean, people on forums can't stop talking about it! They say that once this thing attacks you, nothing else in the game can even come close to scaring you.

So imagine my surprise when i was staring at sundrop and telling him that I was not a developer as he was just picking the player up and repeating the same phrase "developer do not delete us". All of a sudden, the lights went out and an eerie silence filled the room. I anticipated hearing moondrop's voice saying i should go to sleep or perhaps even a cutscene, but to my surprise, nothing occurred. Initially, I presumed that my computer had crashed , but before I could restart it, I caught sight of two emerald eyes peering at me from the heart of the daycare.

I stood with the player model , gazing towards Moondrop or whoever that person was. As I slowly started to move, I quickly walked past him. However, the strange thing was that he was just moving his head while I was going on the playpen going after the generators. The only indication that he was following me was the sound of his springs and the swish of the cable of him moving out of the playpen. This behavior was disconcerting and unsettling.

As I reached the final generator, I witnessed Gregory being dragged outside the playpen. Our ascent was abrupt and it felt like we were rising rapidly. Suddenly, we came to a halt and a voice whispered:

"Moondrop": Shh..past...punished...children.. naughty? N..n..no..rrrghhh..s..sun"

The camera suddenly jerked, as if something had been thrown with force. The game models were disrupted, and the character slammed into the wall, halting his previous movement. A sound of moomdrop approaching and then he appeared, staring at me like a dog. Its words were threatening, "Hidey no...I am putting you in time out...ne...never leave...no more...alone."

HELLO welcome to the Babbit's Blog masterpost!!! On this post you'll find some fun facts about yours allegedly (me <33), some ref's for my different 'sona's, and a couple links to my fics and whatnot! Are you ready? No?? Excellent neither am i let's do this

Meet the Babbits!: the self-inserts/personas

the first ref is for my general/most commonly used persona, Babbit! They aren't really an anthro/furry as much as they are a humanoid with the head of a rabbit. I like to think of this one as the 'me' that's in my head- the purest form of my thoughts and feelings, but not the solid real-life me. The second ref is my self-insert persona, Rabbit, the one i picture using most often when i'm reading a fic or imagining a self-insert scenario lol. This one is like the me that people see and meet and speak to in real actual life, if that makes sense. It's the way I come across to people and all of the things I wish I could iron out of my crumpled up real-self <3 The third is a much more specific 'sona, Hazel, who started off as a FNaF:SB animatronic self-insert. She does have a backstory and lore now, which i think makes her more of an OC than a self-insert, but a lot of her is still me and a lot of what she experiences in her backstory is from my life/instills the same feelings that were taken away from things that happened to me, so I think she kinda counts enough to put a ref for her here sdkjfsdhfj (Why the different names?: makes things a little easier, and they hold meaning to me symbolically, I guess!)

Who is that???: SURPRISE IT’S NOT VANNY!!! that is Babbit! Or Rabbit, or Bones, whichever you prefer. It’s a self insert of me!

Why are they a rabbit one second then a person the next?? Are those even supposed to be the same character??: Yes, they are the same person, just drawn in different ways! Why they change is a little more difficult to explain bc it,, depends, honestly sjdhdjd. A lot of the time, the rabbit is like,, an inner version, the more honest and vulnerable version of Rabbit, the ‘you’ that YOU see in your own mind. The regular human version is, normally, what the world sees, the actual, physical person that is Rabbit.

But why tho: Idk I just like weird stupid metaphors and weird wonky character designs!

What’s happening??: Rabbit has a job at the daycare! Rabbit is an anxious, stressed out and socially inept person who worries a lot about what other people think! Sun and Moon dislike them, bc this was inspired by some of those AUs where Sun and Moon are just mean for no good reason LMAO. Rabbit is crushed by this bc they thought Sun and Moon, who are PROGRAMMED and DESIGNED to be likeable and friendly and caring, would HAVE to like them!! It’s their job! It’s what they’re supposed to do! It’s what they’re built for: to like people and to be liked by people! To be disliked by them means there is something so fundamentally and ineffably wrong with them that it breaks the laws of physics- at least in Rabbit’s mind. Before they could disregard everyone who disliked them as people being people and them just having a disliked personality! But to be disliked by something designed to like people? Holy mothballs, bat man, you must be REAL KINDS of fucked up!

They think there is something so wrong with them that even the ones who like everyone do not like them, and it is THEIR FAULT that they are disliked, not anyone else’s- not even Sun and Moon’s. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. And it hurts more when Sun and Moon fake being kind and friendly under a heavy layer of passive aggression. So, at the end of their rope and believing there is nothing that can be done to help them or fix their situation, they start to loathe Sun and Moon and start to lash out at them whenever feeling especially slighted. Is this reasonable? No! Does it make them feel better? Absolutely not!!! Do Sun and Moon deserve it??? No not really!!! And the farther it goes the more Rabbit let’s themselves sink into being as bitter and hurtful as they always tried so hard not to be. And it’s not anyone’s job to fix them but theirselves. But right now, for the first time in a long time, they really don’t want to.

Does Rabbit actually just need a hug and a warm blanket???? Idk probably!!!!
