2) Who is your family?

I have three sisters, oldest to youngest: Josephine “Jo” Kline, 23; Este Kline, 17; & Cindy Kline, 9. Jo is engaged to her boyfriend Mark and has a 2 year old daughter by him named Francesca. Este is like the embodiment of the free love movement, even though she was only a toddler when it reached its peak. Cindy is the biggest bundle of energy you’ve ever seen shes like a firecracker. We had to put her into Fastpitch Softball(a team + private lessons) in order to give her an outlet so she didn’t destroy any of the houses.

Our mother was born in Sicily, and mimics both Este and Cindy(or rather they mimic her) in different ways. She’s roughly 10 years younger than our father, who’s two years older than his brother. They met when he traveled to Milan for a business trip, the city she moved to for college. Nowadays she’s a designer famous in certain circles, and once made a collection based on my sisters and I. My father was born and raised in Hawkins, before his parents uprooted the family to move to Beverly Hills when he was 13. He came from generational wealth, but that didn’t give him too much of a head start in the broker business. He worked his way up and retired a few years ago, quitting while he was a head and sitting on a mountain of wealth. Mt. Everest of to be specific.

I dont think my uncle needs much introduction, as he’s the only canon character in my family. Larry Kline, Hawkins one and only corrupt mayor, everybody! (though I did script he didn’t get the boot and is very much out of jail) My sisters and I used to stay with our Uncle every summer, while going to school in Switzerland. Though last summer our schedule was flipped. We spent the summer with our parents in Italy and began attending school in Hawkins. 🙌 (Este, Cindy, and I, that is)

8) Who is your best friend?

I would say my best friend at the moment is either Annie(nc) or Chrissy!! Though this is less in a best friend way but a second younger sister way, I’m also really close with Holly Wheeler. I teach her tennis lessons every Tuesday and Friday for an hour after school and that’s really fun. I left this section pretty open ended, because I’m really excited to meet everyone and make friends once I shift!!

BIO

tilly flynn, the only child of two artists, was born creative. growing up to become a prop master for theaters around the east coast, it would only make sense that those she gravitated toward were those who liked to create and make something out of nothing. never the type to settle down, she became pregnant after a few days with someone she’s only been on a few dates with, and dropped contact. nine months later, adam was born, to her absolute delight. tilly was a great mom, her and her boy against the world.

adam knew his parental situation - the pg version, at least, being told his mom went through a sperm bank - and didn’t figure out the truth until he was 8 years old, when a siren tried to lure him out into the ocean. not long after that, he was faced with the glowing hephaestus symbol above his head, with a visit from the god himself, instructing them to bring adam to camp.

adam thrived at camp - he liked building weaponry and he was always an athletic kid. he spent his summers at camp, not wanting to completely abandon his friends and schooling, though he would visit on the weekends, or when his mom needed to be in the new york theater scene. he wasn’t the best student, the half-blood double whammy of adhd and dyslexia affecting him greatly, but he played football and volunteered for the theater department, helping with props and set pieces.

he was always a little bit lonely though? adam always had a hard time making “permanent” friends, the older he got. he wanted to play football and be in school with the other more “normal” kids, but he’d always get so sad leaving camp behind after the summer was over. he always felt he was caught somewhere in between, and sort of just floated between identities for a bit until graduation.

after he graduated high school, he thought his best bet was to continue all through fates university. he always wanted to be a half-blood that saved the day on a big quest, but he was never chosen on anything and he didn’t think he was ready to give up the safety and protection university would bring.

AESTHETIC

Sanremo 2020

Here a few ways to watch Sanremo online starting on tuesday february 4th 8:30 pm (it’ll probably start with a 5 minutes “anteprima = preview” every night), until saturday february 8th, when the final will be broadcasted.

Starting from January 27th, a 6 minutes show about Sanremo has been broadcasted every night, with interviews and random curiosities (here - PrimaFestival section right below the host Amadeus’ photo)

The usual Dopofestival, with the analysis of the show at the end of each night, won’t be broadcasted onTV but only on RaiPlay (here - L’Altro Festival)

CasaSanremo - A website about Sanremo and all the artists who will take part, with more infos and interviews. Follow them also on their Social Media Channels, usually they make live video/interviews/shows on FB for example.

Hosts & Guests + Other Stuff

This years’ host will be Amadeus (who choose the songs taking part into this Sanremo), a TV and radio host. He will be accompanied by 10 female co-hosts, all coming from TV, songs, sport and information fields: Francesca Sofia Novello, Laura Chimenti, Antonella Clerici, Diletta Leotta, Emma D'Aquino, Sabrina Salerno, Alketa Vejsiu, Mara Venier, Georgina Rodriguez, Rula Jebreal. They will appear on few nights (or just one) each. The radio and TV host Fiorello will be present all the 5 nights, same as the famous singer Tiziano Ferro. They will appear on stage randomly to entertain and sing, maybe also with other guests. Some of the one-night guests might be the singers Al Bano & Romina Power (with a new song, probably on day 1), Zucchero, Ghali, Gianna Nannini, Biagio Antonacci, Tony Renis, Massimo Ranieri, Jhonny Dorelli, i Ricchi e Poveri (all the 4 members who originally started the band), Ultimo, Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa, Mika (these last 3 probably on Thursday and Friday night); the actors/singers of a couple of Italian movies: Pierfrancesco Favino, Kim Rossi Stuart, Emma Marrone, Claudio Santamaria (Gli anni più belli - Gabriele Muccino) and Diego Abatantuono, Christian De Sica, Angela Finocchiaro, Massimo Ghini, Paolo Rossi, Rocco Papaleo (La mia banda suona il pop - Fausto Brizi); and let’s not forget the Oscar winner Roberto Benigni. For the 70° anniversary of the competition, a 300 meters red carpet has been held in Sanremo to connect the roads nearby to the Ariston theater. The names of the past 69 editions’ winners are written on the red carpet and they may stay there also after the end of the competition (not sure though - take a look at the pics here). An outside stage, called Nutella stage, has been build in the streets of Sanremo. Guests and hosts will randomly go there as well to cheer the crowd.

How it works

Differently from last year, this year the young/newbie section is back. So there will be 24 singers in the Campioni (champs) section and 8 in the Giovani (young/newbies) section. The winner of the competition of the Campioni section will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest: if he/she/them won’t accept, the choice will be another artist, usually the 2nd classified. Another difference with the past edition is that the “Duets night” will take place on the 3rd night. The Campioni’s singers will perform (with another Italian or foreign artist) a song from a past Sanremo edition. This special evening will be called Sanremo 70. Differently from the past, the rank at the end of the 3rd night, will change also the rank after the 2 first nights (votes will be added to the general rank).

Day 1 - co-hosts: Rula Jebreal, Diletta Leotta. Prob. guests: Fiorello, Tiziano Ferro. “Gli anni più belli” actors, Emma Marrone (will sing too), Gessica Notaro and Antonio Maggio, Al Bano & Romina Power. We’ll hear 12 Campioni’s songs (in order of performance: Irene Grandi, Marco Masini, Rita Pavone, Achille Lauro, Diodato, Le Vibrazioni, Anastasio, Elodie, Bugo e Morgan, Alberto Urso, Riki, Raphael Gualazzi) and 4 Giovani’s (Eugenio in via di Gioia, Fadi, Leo Gassman and Tecla Insolia). 2 songs of the Giovani will be excluded after two different 1 vs 1 contests (Eugenio in Via di Gioia VS Tecla Insolia || Fadi VS Leo Gassmann). The two winning songs (one for each contest) will pass to the 4th night. We’ll have a first rank of the 12 Campioni who performed tonight.

Day 2 - co-hosts: Emma D’Aquino, Laura Chimenti, Sabrina Salerno. Prob. guests: Fiorello, Tiziano Ferro. Zucchero, Ricchi e Poveri, Gigi D’Alessio, Massimo Ranieri, Paolo Palumbo, Novak Djokovic and his wife.
