Just your daily reminder that DID and OSDD can only develop from trauma, even if a genetic propensity to dissociation is a factor. It's a factor, not the entire cause. Your system developed from trauma and that trauma is valid.

Look, @meatboddah I feel like anything I could say about how harmful this is has already been said hundreds of times over, but let's restate the obvious anyway.
Telling anyone to kill themselves is abhorrent. Threatening anyone with violence is abhorrent.
Telling people to kill themselves in a community that you know is filled with people who suffer from depression and suicidal ideation is doubly so, as is threatening violence against people who are statistically more likely to have psychotic disorders.
You would think someone who recently reblogged a post about this being suicide awareness month would be more careful with their words.
Remember, if you tell someone take their own life and they follow through, that's on you. You took their life. Posts like this one should be treated as nothing less than acts of attempted murder.
Most systems, endogenic or traumagenic, live in a world where being outwardly plural risks our jobs and relationships with people outside of the system. Masking in public is common for systems of all types, only letting in the people closest to us.
It shouldn't need to be said that someone isn't less of a system because they mask in public.
It also shouldn't need to be said that there are many reasons DID and OSDD systems may not have a diagnosis, and you're not doing any favors to that community by suggesting only diagnosed systems are valid.
Please stop using "delusional" and "retarded" as insults.
Endogenic systems have, since the very beginning, faced harassment for the crime of merely existing.
Do anti-endos face harassment too? Certainly. But hate is sent towards anti-endos for supporting a hate group, while hate is sent towards endogenic systems because we exist. If you support this hateful ideology, chances are that people won't respond well, whether you're a DID system or a /r/syscringe singlet.
But you will NEVER find a post in DID tags telling traumagenic systems to kill themselves for being traumagenic. You won't find a post in DID tags calling DID systems delusional.
And you are not oppressed because people on the internet don't like your hate group.
As always, when anti-endo posts make their way to our tags, my responses go into the anti-endo tags. Please stop sending hate into our tags, and I'll stop needing to respond in the anti-endo tags as a deterrent.

Our New and Improved Intro
Hi! I’m Max, the host of the 80s Rewinders System, a DID system. I'm making this post for our system. My pronouns are they/he. I used to call myself Finley.
Our system uses the collective pronouns they/them. We don't want to share who most of our alters are. If an alter doesn't want to let people know who they are or when they're fronting, they won't and usually we don't. We don't really use signoffs.
We are a dissociative identity disorder system that developed when the body was 3 from sexual abuse, but we've been abused in different ways for most of the body's life. This page is to help people understand dissociative disorders, end stigma and stereotypes, give hope to people with dissociative disorders with a focus on DID, spread awareness for trauma based mind control and organized abuse, and share our love for the 80s with people including fun facts about 80s pop culture and obscure 80s songs.
