Agere Age Guide

2 years version

Hello, pumpkins! This is the second post in a thread of posts I'm making! You can find the first post here, I accidentally posted it to my alt account but the rest of the posts will be posted on this page. I also want to preface this by saying that not everything I'm saying here is going to apply to everyone and each and every person who regresses or dreams will follow these traits and stuff!

Okay, now to the post!

Traits and Behaviors!

☠︎︎This is about the time that babies start to get up and play around, small jumps, walking, bouncing and maybe even some small sprints

☠︎︎Babies this age are starting to like playing with other babies and parallel play could be really fun at this age, they may have trouble sharing though so make sure to have enough eye grabbing toys for all the babies

☠︎︎This is also the age where babies may start to throw more tantrums and have bigger feeling, they naturally want to test the boundaries at this age and they don't like being told no. They're also going to be a bit more bossy and want their way.

☠︎︎Since this is the time they're starting to have bigger mood swings and test the boundaries, that may result in having big reactions which may be aggressive, they may hit, yell, throw tantrums or even hurt themselves to try and cope with their big emotions

☠︎︎They may mostly use hand gestures but they're starting to babble a lot more and mimic language

Activities to do With Your Baby

☠︎︎This is a great age to play a lot of simple puzzle games and games to practice motor skills, patty cake is a great game to play with your baby and so is playing with toys like stacking blocks and ring-stack toys

☠︎︎Pretend play, these babies are growing up fast! They want to be just like cg. Playing dolls and stuffed animals, putting them to bed and feeding them is a great way to spend time with your baby

☠︎︎This is a great time for parallel play, though babies won't always feel interested or know how to play together, they still love to interact with each other and play together to some degree and parallel play is a great fun for babies this age

☠︎︎New textures and sounds are extremely interesting to babies in their two's! Playing with new textures like sand, slime, dirt and more can be super fun for these babies!

Foods and Recipes

These tinies are starting their food journey, they're starting to upgrade from baby foods and apple sauce to solid fruits and hard cereals!

This is one of those things that's very individualized to each regressor! I can tell you what this age range usually likes to snack on but you should ask your tiny what they like either way.

☠︎︎Eggs and tasty proteins

Babies in their two's are starting their palate expanding journey, usually it's best to stay away from super strong flavors and stick to mild and bland flavors. Younger taste buds are much stronger than adult taste buds so when your regressor was a bio baby, they most-likely had blander foods so giving them some mild and bland snacks can be a comforting factor t their baby space

Shows and Movies

Again, this is one of those things that are super individualized to each and every baby! So still be sure to ask your baby what they like to watch either way! Some shows and movies two-year-olds like to watch are

☠︎︎Disney movies are super great for babies this age two, the vibrant colors and animated voices are sure to keep their attention. Though with some discourse involving Disney has come up, I know a lot of people have stopped using Disney plus. You can still find some amazing shows and mov.ies on places like Netflix, Pbs kids, nickelodeon, and more!

Potty Time for the Terrible Twos

Generally, kiddos are using the potty on their own anywhere from 1.5 - 3 years old but that doesn't mean that kiddos older or younger may deviate from that. There's good info Here about how to properly diaper someone and what products to use

This is also a great video on how to diaper yourself if you're a baby who does their own diapy changes.

Know Your Baby

You're going to want to know and talk to your regressor before they regress with you! The only way you'll be happy with each other is talking about boundaries and the best way to cat or to each other's needs beforehand. Having the awkward conversations are hard but necessary

❤️♣️Husk and Angel 🕸💕

Angel the little!

(Had to post it today, happy birthday, Angel!!! 🎊🥳🎉🎂🎁🎈)

Content warning ⚠️: Will mention things like Self harm, self isolation, depression, DPDR and dissociation, feeling unreal, or like the world is unreal, self hate, paranoia, self isolation, sexual abuse and their affects. Lots of big emotional stuff.. if you're easily triggered by these things, be careful.

Regression Age: 0-4

🕸Angel struggles trusting anyone when he's regressed. People have hurt him very badly...so he's very scared of new people and avoids them whenever he can.

🕸Sometimes Angel will be bratty and act out to test his caregivers. He assumes they'll eventually leave, so he makes it easy for them. Husk isn't any different. But Husk understands this, and he never gives up on Angel no matter what he does.

🕸Angel needs diapers sometimes, and because of that, he thought no one would ever want to take care of him, feeling like he's way too much work. Husk makes sure to tell him over and over again that he's not too much and he enjoys taking care of him. And just because he needs a little more than expected doesn't change anything.

🕸Angel does not let anyone take off his shoes. If they try, he'll cry and beg them not to. Sometimes, it causes him to go full demon mode and bite whoever tried. (People only have to try once before learning.)

🕸Angel, at his oldest, loves causing mischief and pulling pranks on the rest of the group!

🕸little angel does not get along with other littles (at least at first). They take attention from him, and that's just not okay!

🕸He does eventually learn to get along with some of them, but he still gets jealous from time to time.

🕸The only little he actually instantly got along with is Charlie because she reminds him of his sister Molly. 💕

🕸He loves to build forts and play army or war! But he also loves tea parties and playing princesses!

🕸When older, he shoots everyone with water and Nerf guns while they're working or doing anything that isn't paying attention to him.

🕸Then, after Husk took his toy guns away, he used spray bottles instead. 🥰 He will not be stopped! He can only be momentarily delayed.

🕸Angel's second language is eye rolling. He's so sassy!

🕸Angel loves to dress up and even asks others to play dress up with him!

🕸Angel loves tea parties! He especially loves playing tea parties with Pentious and Charlie because it always ends in some type of mysterious tea themed battle!

🕸Angel is prone to nightmares. He'll too often wake up in the middle of the night crying because of it, so Husk has gotten him a baby monitor for their rooms so he can hear the baby spider if he needs him. (He asked Angel first, and he was fine with it. Don't worry.)

🕸He loves stuffed animals- but he wants fat nuggets or Husk to cuddle with at night. A stuffed animal will NOT be good enough for him. Stuffies are for fidgeting and comfort during the day while he's doing other stuff. He needs way more support at night!

That being said, he will sometimes walk around with Fat Nuggets like a stuffed animal and even sometimes Husk. (He's soft 🤷)

🕸Angel's favorite food when little is anything sweet, like cake or ice cream! But sugar makes him crazy, and sometimes he'll eat too much sugar and get sick, so Husk keeps a close eye on him and what he eats to be sure he's healthy.

He also loves Popsicles! So Husk made him some homemade that had less sugar in them.

🕸Angel's favorite drink when little is: strawberry milk or angel milk.

🕸Angel's favorite things to watch are: Peppa Pig, Lilo and stitch (the series, the sequels, all of it!) Animaniacs, Bluey, Loony tunes, Daniel tiger, Ruby gloom, The wiggles, The little mermaid. (He loves all the Disney princess movies, actually, but Ariel is his favorite!)

🕸When Angel is angry, he'll curse in Italian - hoping to avoid anyone understanding so he can avoid punishment...but Husk actually knows some Italian... and definitely knows the curse words. So... that backfired. He'll need to find a new way to curse.

🕸Angel has a special baby blanket. It helps calm him down when he's feeling alone and overwhelmed. It was a gift from Cherri ❤️

🕸⚠️Angel will often dissociate when he's genuinely unhappy with something, as much as Husk would rather if Angel told him how he's feeling, he sometimes can't...he can only dissappear and it will scare Husk sometimes. Not only that, sometimes he feels unreal or like everything around him is unreal... and that is really scary. (DPDR)

🕸Angel deals with rapid mood swings sometimes without a clear reason. He'll start crying without giving a reason, and then a couple hours later, he'll feel completely fine.

🕸⚠️Angel is scared everyone is out to get him, that everyone hates him, and will try to hurt him. Even after he learns to trust Husk, he'll push him away when at his most vulnerable state of mind. During panic attacks or when he's feeling overwhelmed, he knows Husk won't hurt him, but his body doesn't seem to know that, so he'll tell Husk to leave him alone.

🕸⚠️He's scared Husk will abandon him...

🕸⚠️Angel will sometimes hurt himself when he's upset. (Pulling his hair, biting his arm, hitting himself.)

🕸Angel will crawl into bed with Husk when he's scared at night and doesn't want to talk about it.

🕸⚠️Too often, Angel will lie and tell everyone he's okay until it all comes crashing down in the worst ways possible.

🕸Fat nuggets was his first caregiver, and he's still the best caregiver ever.

🕸Cherri has also learned a thing or two while helping Angel. She's really good at helping him calm down and cheering him up.

🕸Little Angel loves Cherri and misses her when she's not around.

🕸He loves it most when he and Husk are cuddling. Nothing makes him feel safer.

🕸Husk is really good at making Angel safe, even if the cat doesn't really believe that.

Husker the caregiver

Husk isn't really a caregiver according to the test, but he chose to be Angel's caregiver anyway because he cares so deeply for him.

He uses caregiving as his way to protect Angel because he can't help but feel protective of him. He drives himself crazy worrying about him constantly.

♥️He cares so much for Angel. He feels a need to protect him and keep him safe at all times!

♣️Husk knows that Angel will throw tantrums and cause problems just so that Husk will pay attention to him. He's currently trying to teach Angel that acting up is not how he gets attention. He needs to ask for it. (Of course, this is a hard lesson to teach because when Angel is upset and acting up on purpose, he can't just ignore him. He doesn't want Angel to think he won't love him just because he doesn't listen or because he has big emotions. That would be wrong!)

♦️Husk will let Angel pet him in order to get the spider to calm down. He'll also sometimes lay on Angel's chest and purr to help Angel with stress and anxiety like a weighted blanket. (Big or little, he's happy to help Angel relax).

♠️Husk is a strict caregiver. He has to be with Angel. Some days are worse than others, sometimes it seems Angel will have to be in a time out or have to write lines every single time he's little, because he'd act out to test Husk's limits. But no matter what Angel throws at him, he never gives up on trying to help him.

♥️Husk does not like peppa pig. He finds it incredibly annoying, but he will watch it if Angel is good or is having a bad day. (Or if Angel begs him enough...because Husk is a bit of a sucker.)

♠️Husk is really good with kids, actually. He's very calm and good with staying calm under pressure, and he's good at listening to them and relating to them.

♦️Husk will often sing to Angel to calm him down or to get him to relax at night. It's the best way to get Angel calm, and he personally loves singing. (His favorite stuff to sing is old Russian lullabies. (Please send recommendations, lol))

♣️Husk worries that he's doing everything wrong and will often turn to Charlie or Vaggie for help and advice.

♥️Angel gives Husk a lot of credit for making him feel accepted and giving him more confidence in his real authentic self... but Angel does the same thing for him. Angel makes him feel wanted and cared about and loved just as much. Angel is his home.

♠️Husk is very respectful of Angel and his boundaries. If Angel tells him he doesn't want to be touched, doesn't want a bath, or doesn't want help getting changed, Husk does not argue with him. He will find a better way to help Angel, which makes him feel more comfortable. Nothing matters more to him. . . Even if sometimes little Angel doesn't always understand that concept himself and will grab him or pull on his fur ... it's a work in progress.

♦️Husk will sing russian songs to Angel and will sometimes speak Russian to him...and Angel actually likes it...but understands none of it whatsoever.

♠️Husk doesn't always know how to help Angel... he's never dealt with anything like Angel has. He does as much research as possible... but it doesn't always help.

❤️Fat nuggets have learned how to take care of Angel and will subtly help Husk too by gesturing to what Angel needs or handing Husk Angel's pacifier instead of just handing it to Angel himself.

Nicknames!

♦️Husk usually calls Angel by his name. But kiddo, malish, little one, and small fry are all things Husk will call him to be more affectionate towards him. He's very careful not to use words that may trigger him, and if he's worried about it- he'll just say it in Russian since Angel can't understand him anyway.

💖Angel calls Husk: "Kitty" when he's regressed. And sometimes "Husky" if he's lucky.

He also calls Charlie ChiChi.

🦌 Alastor will call little Angel: Small one, Bambino, Spiderling, and Araignée

💜Vaggie will sometimes call little angel: "Buddy" "Squirt" "Kiddo" and "Gremlin"

❤️Charlie will call little Angel: "Spiderling" "sweetie," "Darling," "Honey," "Stitch," and "Piglet."

⚙️ Pentious will normally just call Angel by his name too, but he'll also call Angel: "Spider" "small one" or "spiderling."

🩸Niffty calls little Angel: "Little Spider" or just Angel

Currently suffering from heatstroke while watching Bluey so here some into the future Youssef x Nathan headcanons(they have a child):

They let her watch non-overstimulating shows like Sesame Street and Angelina Ballerina and moomin (but they also let her watch bluey and peppa pig)

Whenever it gets warm she likes laying on Nathan’s chest as Youssef blows up the paddling pool (bought by the Paris Gang) and then the Paris Gang come over with Nellie and their dogs to play with her

She loves Marvel (something she gets from Youssef) and loves to watch Captain Marvel and WandaVision

Whenever Youssef gets overwhelmed, Nathan takes her to get ice cream so that Youssef can have some time alone just to calm down

Nick takes her on walks in the park with Nellie and spends most of the time stopping them from chasing ducks

She spends a little too long watching Bluey and so when they go to her grandparents house (Nathan’s parents) they’re confused as to why she’s speaking with an Australian accent

At night Youssef and Nathan try to spend as much time alone as possible

The Paris Gang love to babysit her especially when Youssef and Nathan need to catch up on sleep and other stuff

During autumn she likes picking up leafs and comparing them to her hands

Just like Nathan, she’s extremely artistic and is always drawing and colouring, Youssef has a tattoo of a heart that she drew

Youssef gets a bit of a dad bod and Nathan can’t help but find extremely attractive

my name is Lad he him and i am hyperfixated on peppa pig and have official assets from the show itself which i make fanart with (peoples ocs and just funny haha stuff) (yes im not trolling im an unironic fan of the show) (i also have assets of several other shows like bluey little einsteins and idk what else but im too lazy to actually do anything w them bc im not that interested)

I need to write more interactions with Bucky and his robotic step children ^-^

I'll do it in for each one, I like throwing in vision because it's neat. Also, the fan canon being three helper bots and not just u and dume. Anyway.

DumE, bucky would get him in a van and drive him to a fire house for a tour. It's odd to have the winter soldier stone face and a happy, claw clicking bot zooming behind him. Happy beeps. Bucky takes him on the tour, even though he can't ride in the big trucks, he got to ride in the smaller one. Bucky buying the bot a little trinket that he beeped incessantly to have attached to his pole. It's a magnet of a star, a red star. Happy dume noises and bucky blushing red, "I had fun too, next we can go to a shelter for dogs."

U, she is a bit of a thief. Bucky learned this when he took her to a mall for builders, tech people, and things of that nature. Bucky was looking to get her something she can work with, she was interested in flowers. Real ones are delicate, he was going to make her own tiny garden. As soon as he found the materials, a worker was panting holding the bot that held a hammer. Bucky learned u was stealthy. Crafty. But also, still young in robot time, she started making noises. That is how bucky gave her a xylophone to make noise (she's getting better).

Butterfingers, they don't like doing much. Most of the time they are quiet and enjoy being inside. Bucky figured out they like to start fights with their siblings, so he decided to show butter a strongman competition. It was worth the shot, and butter was into it. Like their siblings, butter had some creative interest. Bucky realized was pattern making. If he wore a ghastly blue, red, gold, and black tartan, he was happy because butter made it.

Vision, being the one who can talk, they don't talk. It is similar to bucky who had to relearn about himself and Vision was to. Bucky for the most part would offer an outing to a nature reserve or an animal place. Dume and Vision sat hours at a dog shelter. Sometimes, bucky would see something that reminded him of Vision, and he buy it. Vision has a bed full of stuff animals. They also target practice, Tony joins in to make it a competition.

Of course, (I'm throwing in ultron, my au he came back as a baby), ultron is happy to do anything with Bucky. Bucky watch bluey with him or shows about families and friends. Except peppa pig. Bucky and Tony had banned that damn pig and any show similar to it. Surprisingly, bucky enjoys most of the shows he watches with ultron.

The nice and surprising thing Tony does, "you being a dad to my metal and semi metal children, is," a pause with a blush and bucky get it. As he watched the movie with the family, even if butter is making dume beep something about, 'THEIR TOUCHING ME'.

Something like those. :) they make me soft.

thanki!! and m just gonna do one agere fnaf character for now so i can spread stuff out but here are some...

SUNDROP AGE REGRESSOR HEADCANNONS!

actually a really shy regressor until he's really comfortable with someone (which is only Moon at the moment, who's also his caregiver), really self concious about it, no one knows but Moon

he really loves to play with other kids, but he doesn't do it often since he's so shy about regressing, but Moon managed to convince him to a few time

completely non-verbal when he's small, only makes noises and squeals and giggles, he doesn't speak, says a few words when he's at his oldest age but at others he doesn't say anything

he stims a lot when he's tiny (because he gets really easily excited (but he also gets pretty easily upset, he's sensitive in general but even moreso when he's little)

regresses up to 9 years but his usual age is like 5-6

he really really loves to play, he likes hide and seek the best

he gets tired out pretty quickly though, likes to rest and watch cartoons at the computer of the security desk in the daycare, stuff like bluey and peppa pig

nicknames are sunny, lollipop, sweetie, stuff like that

loves fluffy plushies, since he's fairly playful rather than cuddly if he has the energy for it, he doesn't have many plushes, but when he does he loves the fluffy ones

What book are you currently reading?

☆ I haven't read much books at all this year, but I really wanna pick up Dune again! I got halfway through Dune Messiah in 2020 and it's been forever 😭 My reading list is ever expanding, I just really need to find time and motivation 🥲

What’s your favorite movie that you saw in theatres this year?

☆ I have not gone to the theaters at all this year! I've been out and about but yeah. All the movies I watched this year were watched from the comfort of my own bedroom. But as for my favorite movie this year, it's either "Pearl" by Ti West or "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once" by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. I liked Pearl better than X just because... Idk, I think I was more disturbed by the emotional drama than the actual story LOL and as for EEAAO, that one is a classic I feel like I've seen at least five mutuals rave about it JDJCJ and it's well deserved! I wanted to watch it with family but I kept chickening out– it hits a little too close to home I think 🥲 then there's Incantation too, that movie had some really unsettling imagery and I got really invested into the story of the main character trying her absolute hardest to save her daughter against the powers of a hostile otherworldly being. It's really neat!

What do you usually wear?

☆ I live in a tropical country, so it's the shirt-shorts-flip flops combo usually LOL although once in a while I'll switch it up and wear pajama pants :p

How tall are you?

☆ I'm 5'3", or 160 cm !!!

What’s your Star Sign? Do you share a birthday with a celebrity or a historical event?

☆ Cancer! Not sure about any celebrities, but I do share my birthday with the debut of the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit in 1989 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and I thought that was cool LOL

Do you go by your name or a nick-name?

☆ I go by Sol, which is more of a pseudonym than a nickname. But I also use Marie, which *is* a shorter version of my real name and also, I have used "Peppa" very recently because my profile pictures when I was in the middle of my "join as many discord servers as possible" phase was Peppa Pig and it stuck 😭

Did you grow up to become what you wanted to be when you were a child?

☆ Not yet, but i'm getting there! Getting that education and whatnot 🤓

Are you in a relationship? If not, who is your crush if you have one?

☆ I'm good at everything but also bad at everything 💖 I hope that helps!

What’s something you were excited about that turned out to be disappointing this year?

☆ Not to be a downer but this year as a whole sucked LOL some significant highlights in the lows of course (e.g. meeting my besties, getting back into an old beloved fandom, etc), but I just really thought things would be different by now. Guess not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What’s a hidden talent of yours?

☆ All talents are hidden if you're anxious enough 😏 (it's lying. for some reason people always believe me 😭 I only use it for stupid shit too so HEJFJD)

Are you religious?

☆ Religion interests me, if not for the historical and cultural impact then maybe for the art that is created because of it! My religious background is Roman Catholicism, born and raised and all that, but my family stopped going to church a while back and we haven't gone back since unless it was for a wedding or a baptism. Do I believe in the Christian God? Not really... I do believe there is a higher power out there, if that makes sense. I just don't subscribe to the ideas of any religion. I guess this makes me agnostic.

What’s something you wish to have at this moment?

Warning: This is a personal list and I am by no means attacking anyone. I am just listing my personal experiences, therefore I am not generalizing. I'm mentioning the fandoms that I'm apart of, not media I'm unfamiliar with. I'm going to mention heavy topics so be warned. \

Bluey Fandom - Low on the list. I love this show but one time a tumblr user ruined it for me. I made a now-deleted post on how I hated one episode because it triggered my OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). When I had s*icidal thoughts the user said "LOL" to me instead of feeling sorry like a normal person would. I blocked him. I'm sorry but whoever thinks suicidality's funny is a heartless lunatic. For the love of all things holy get some freaking empathy.

Thomas the Train Fandom - Again, low on the list. On here because someone in the fandom used to spam satanic prayers in my inbox for being Catholic. He's deactivated now so thank God. Also, I hate Shed 17, Project G1, and Victor Tanzig's videos. Thomas is my comfort show and when it's combined with edgy or mean-spirited content it breaks my heart.

And why ship Thomas with Twilight Sparkle? I like crossover ships, I do it myself (Sandy x Shadow & SpongeBob x Pinkie Pie) but this is where I cross the line. Thomas is a machine, Twilight's an animal. No.

But for the most part, the fandom's nice to me and it's pretty cool. It's the healthiest fandom on the list.

SpongeBob SquarePants Fandom - Oh my gosh, enough with the opinion disrespecting! Ok, here's the thing, my opinions on the show are "unpopular". I don't hate any season, in fact I love all of them and I never believed SpongeBob went downhill. There are four episodes of the early seasons I dislike, but according to SpongeBuddy Mania if anyone (like me) hates any early episodes we're stupid? Dude, it's a kid show! I'm not stupid for hating an episode! What a mean thing to say, to call someone names for having a different opinion! I'm so done T_T

Sonic Fandom - Tails Doll and Sonic Exe terrified me when I was a child. Also the fetish art. First of all, they are animals. Second of all, they are minors. GROSS. Don't even get me started on Chris Chan.

Peppa Pig Fandom - I went on the Fanon Wiki when I was a kid and I never understood why everyone was swearing. I thought this show was for toddlers?

Disney Fandom - For the most part it's okay I just despise those edits of Kaa the snake on deviant shart. I dislike snakes and I loathe fetish content of kids media. It's on my DNI list for a reason.

Cartoon Community - I used to watch Animat but stopped after he brang unnecessary politics into his vids. Dude, Trump is just some guy with funny hair and orange spraytan. He's not Genghis Khan or something. Chill.

I remembered the CalArts shooting threat from a long time ago. That was horrible. It was a cruel, evil thing to do. You should never do that over a drawing. :(

Dora Fandom - I think me and my mom are one of the few adults who genuinely like Dora the Explorer. I used to be mutuals with a user on here who was a fan of Dora like me. It was okay until they made a s*xualized edit of her. I blocked the user. Dora is a seven year old girl. Don't do that.

Furries - Why. Why take something so cute and innocent and turn it into something so inappropriate. They are animals. ANIMALS. I don't care if it's just a drawing: animals, I repeat, animals do not consent. It pains me, as an animal lover and someone who draws + watches talking animals, for someone to make depraved stuff like that, just, UGH.

Bronies - Here we are. The worst one. The bottom of the endless pit.

Brony content traumatized me. I have psychological issues because of the stuff that I've shouldn't have seen when I was a child.

I freaking despise Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, M/lestia, MOV, R34, Banned from Equestria Daily, and all the other NSFW fan labor. It disgusts me. I wish they never existed. If I was Doctor Who then I would turn back time to prevent this garbage from existing.

And the G3 bashing just made me sad. I personally like G3 better than G1, G4 and G5. G3 is my fav MLP generation!

Plus, some notable bronies turned out to be horrible people. Predators, deviants and even murderers.

Aren't the ponies animals btw? And aren't they teenagers in Equestria Girls? Isn't this show aimed at 5 year olds?? Doesn't the show teach morals??? WHY ARE YOU MAKING THEM DO INNAPROPRIATE STUFF????

I try not to criticize younger kids shows too much because obviously I'm not the target audience, but is it crazy for me to think that younger kids deserve better shows?

Like shows with better messages to teach, that aren't just "fart joke" and "5 second plots". For example, I think shows like Bluey, and Super Why, and Martha Speaks, and Arthur, and shows like that are really good for young audiences. They teach valuable things that are important at that age, they have more substance that's easily digestable for kids in that age range, and it helps that the animation and art is both visually appealing and shows effort (although I'm not 100% a fan of the animation and art behind Super Why, I still think it does better than some other shows out there and deserves to be recognize for the effort).

But then you have shit like Morphle, and Peppa Pig, and whatever the fuck Alphabet YouTuber shit Peacock spits out. And it's like. There's nothing of value to it, it just shits out whatever and calls it a day. And they're all butt fuck ugly and lazy. Like they're terribly drawn and animated. It does a disservice to kids I feel, because it's like saying "you like loud and brightly colored shit, I don't have to put effort into anything else". Like kids are people too, and I feel like that means you should put effort into making stuff that's actually good for them?

Is that too much for me to think? Is that too like, terminally online?

for crossword ideas, what about something like international children's tv shows? mainly because i've seen two articles this week about american children starting to speak aussie/british slang and/or in those accents thanks to bluey and peppa pig respectively. you could include the wiggles and the teletubbies and shows like that too (i'm australian so i wouldn't be able to say other shows that show up on american tv lmao but those are potential places to start)

that's an interesting idea. maybe i can use this wikipedia page and narrow it down. also that's adorable about american children picking up british/aussie slang from imported tv! why didn't any of my siblings ever do this?? what a waste of their childhoods. (i'm exempt though.)

the puzzles i need topics for are word searches, which in my opinion are much more boring than crosswords, but apparently a lot of people do them so i've been trying to make them good for the past year or so, which means trying to actually curate the word lists instead of just slapping shit nobody's ever heard of together and calling it a day. it turns out this is kind of time-consuming! and i have to make 52 of these bad boys a year!

by family-friendly i don't necessarily mean that the topics have to be geared toward children, just that they shouldn't be about violence, sex, drugs, etc. like, stuff that if a kid picked up the newspaper, their mom wouldn't call the paper in a rage because they had to ask what an "orgy" was. (idk what topic would include the word "orgy" but that's just the word that came to mind because i once asked my parents what it meant and it was this whole thing lol.) for instance, i just made one for hand tools (saw, hammer, wrench, etc.) because it's inoffensive and there are a lot of potential words. "screw" is totally appropriate if we're talking about woodworking, hypothetical child's mom!
