More content for my "Hunter can see the previous Golden Guard ghosts after Thanks to Them" AU, now renamed "Golden Medium AU": Dadrius edition

At some point, Darius tells Hunter that he was so worried because he wasn't even sure if Hunter was still alive. Because there was one moment while he was a puppet when he had the same feeling he had when his mentor died. Like how Camila cried when Luz died. The bond they had was strong enough to let them just know.

Hunter doesn't know what to respond. If he should tell him the truth. But he didn't want to make Darius more worried like he already stated. If he should provide comfort.

That's when Darius' mentor appears and he is just looking at Darius. Hunter thinks that he isn't even aware that Hunter is there too. The sorrow, regret and pain on his face was so obvious.

It actually looked kind of peaceful. Two friends who could share their guilt.

Two people who are both grieving for the other while being seperated in two different realms.

"I don't blame you, you know. I don't know what led you to treat me the way you did back then and you don't have to tell me right now but for all it's worth? I fell safe with you. I can rely on you. You are my family. You are my home. And that's more than anything I ever dreamt of."

Darius turns to Hunter, eyes glassy, and he hugs him, holding him tightly. And Hunter just melts into the touch.

When the hug is over, Darius is smiling. But he still has that look of being stuck in the past.

"I am sure he would be proud too", Hunter says.

Darius with his signature smile now but not because of the content of Hunters words but because of Hunters action itself. It means so much to him that his boy he cares so much about cares about him just as much.

But behind Darius? His mentor is grinning. He finally fades away for the day without any signs of sadness.

I mean... tbf if you think about medic holing himself up in the infirmary doing his silly boy experiments for extended periods of time... I don't think he's gonna have a lot of "food" lying around in there. you make do with what you've got. if he can use it for something I wouldn't put it past him to just be eating any stray bits of flesh he has on hand.

I've seen loads of fanfics where the other mercs (e.g. sniper, engineer or heavy) go down and bring him food to eat if he skipped lunch or dinner which is cute of them to do so i don't think medic would think of being a cannibal

even if he did, he would have someone to do it with him like the fanfic i mentioned earlier with medic and sniper as medic loves to show off what he's done, he's a bit of a show off 😁

Hi, I'm sanemisstalker, and I want to open myself up to requests. Idk if I have anon on, if it's not on, message me and I'll turn it on-

Minors DNI, I am 19, and prefer to keep my asks 18+ . No hate to yall, you deserve online spaces, I'm just not that space provider.

I do write for demon slayer, particularly for the Hashira, but I'm not adverse to the Kizuki. I have preferences for Sanemi and Douma, but I am literally such a group slut, please do not think I'm not jumping at the bit to write for all of them.

As for what I won't write, I won't write for tanjiro and his crew, or for genya and muichiro.

I also am not very quick to write a full blown fanfiction, I prefer to stick to bullet points/ ☆headcanons☆. If you have something that you want as a fanfiction, ask, and, at the bare minimum, I can elaborate on the thought.

I can do quite a bit otherwise, literally just ask. Even if I won't do it, my asks are a judgement free zone (idk what you're going through out there, it's not my place to call you weird. I'm an adult, and can just delete an ask that makes me uncomfy. I'm not going to cook you on my tumblr feed)

Which means I’m open to answer any questions involving with Desolate Paradise, The Creator (Aka: Me), The Characters within the AU and overall the Development of this project.

At this time I will be taking at least a limit of ten questions during this box opening, if it exceeds the limit the question box will close and any extra questions will be put on a wait list and will be answered later on.

So not to worry, if your question hasn’t been answered it will be in due time. If I’m not too busy or nothing comes up that would delay it.

Kids ask Bucky why he has a Prosthetic arm and let him share his past stories.

This got me thinking especially for future fics too.

The arm was something the four of them spoke about with admiration and curiosity. Admiration on Uliss "Ultron" and Kurt. Curiousity from Moder. A mix of both from Skar. The young children followed the now known White Wolf of The Avengers, the Ghost Story, The Winter Soldier. Even though those last two nicknames are lost on them. Some of the adults spoke with amusement, others with soft reminders that usually was Aunt Natasha and Kurt's pop Steve. Other times it was spoke with so much weight, the kids scurry away when Uliss parents spoke softly on it.

Other times the kids watch Bucky Barnes workout. Spar. Train the newer heroes. Chase Hawkeye around the manor or tower about something. They watched with a task for later to figure out how Clint was able to scale up into vents.

The kids mission was to figure what those nicknames means and especially about his arm.

"He is your dad."

"Kurt, I don't know how to bring it up."

"We can just ask."

"Moder, that... well, what if he says don't worry about it."

"My dads says that a lot to me." Skar sat with a bowl of curry chewing happily.

Moder huffed writing a spell she found in the scantum library, "Uliss, you can ask."

"Maybe, I am nervous."

Kurt poofed back with his own snack chewing idly on an orange slice, "She is right Uliss."

The kids sat in a small group trying to figure out how to ask. This conversation happened frequent enough that they walked in to where they knew he would be, only to stare and scream, "YOUR ARM IS GONE!"

Bucky stared at the four kids freaking out pointing at the missing limb. Earlier, years earlier he would run to hide quickly. The ease over the years made dealing with his missing appendage turned metallic easier. Even seeing their reactions was a little amusing. Over Skar frantic screaming. Moder's eyes glowing asking what happened. Kurt shook Uliss panicking. Uliss eyes stuck on the missing part. A part his son was so used to seeing.

"So... I guess you are all curious?"

That got them all to calm down with quick nods, Uliss going to reach for the cap over his shoulder part, Uliss fingers curling up, "It is fine Uliss," He lifted his son up to touch the cap. The red-eyed child touched it, a nervous gulp from him.

"Dad... what happened to your arm? We thought you always had a metal arm... but you can remove it... Why does Pop call you the Winter and Ghost Story.... but he sounds sad sometimes?"

Bucky helped the kids get snacks, talking about his time growing up with his real arm. How he got the Ghost Story nickname first. How that changed to his more infamous nickname. One he was happy that gets relegated back on the nickname list. He doesn't mind winter.

"Mean people, very dangerous and mean people, gave me an arm that hurt a lot. So much so, I think I forced the pain away." Bucky rubbed at his shoulder, the dull aches were always present if he thinks about it too long. He can feel the rigid scars along his back and around his shoulder and chest, "They made me do things, I will never be able to change or fix. Make better."

Moder's eyes flickered with unread emotions. Skar frowned brows furrowing on his young face; he raised his hand. Kurt toying with his tail. Uliss frowned, eyes dulling as he thought about the words. "But, why...? You didn't do it?"

"Would you want to change it?" Uliss asked.

Bucky thought about both questions, and looked at the kids in the eyes, "No, I wouldn't change what happened. I can't but I wouldn't. I wouldn't have Uliss. I wouldn't be your pop," Bucky smiled faintly at Uliss. "It is something I have to learn everyday that it wasn't my fault, even though it feels like it." He rubbed at his left side of his body, mind supplying with memories, "Just know, I don't mind telling you things." Bucky smiled, seeing Tony leaning against the door. The kids' voices start to climb about new nicknames. Uliss hugged him as he agreed with all of them. The Hero of Metal. The Real Iron Man.

Bucky smiled over Uliss's head, Tony walking in, "Alright, kiddos of anarchy, head out. I think Carol is back from space." They both watched the gaggle of children rush out. Words of excitement. Uliss stopping at the door, making a circle on his chest before running out.

"The Real Iron Man?" Tony grinned.

Bucky shrugged but smiled, "I like it."

(I was going to get crazy with it. I think it would be something like this. A bit more flesh out when I get around here, eventually. Hopefully :') )

New AU idea just dropped

I am sure it has been done before or in some variety and that they were just hallucinations but I like it so:

Hunter can see the Golden Guard ghosts after Thanks to Them. He saw them the first time when he died. They aren't always there and the number depends as well.

When Belos was defeated the ghosts were surprised that they were still there. They keep themselves more in the background. At first. Until one of the younger ones find this out and thinks it is so much fun.

So Hunter getting surprised or spooked by one. And thinking about if he just imagined everything after he died for a sec. But then one of the older ones comes as well and tries to do damage control. Honestly, it kind of made everything worse because now Hunter was having an identity crisis if he is alive or dead or something in between now since he can see their ghosts. The older one explains it to him like how someone with strong oracle magic is just more gifted in communicating with ghosts.

When he finally calms down, which takes a while, he says "Wait, shouldn't you have, idk, passed on when Belos died?!" "Yeah, thought so too but eh, apparently not."

So Hunter learns more about oracle magic.

When someone just pops in and points at something and says "that is totally wrong, yk" and Hunter having a discussion with them.

And everybody else who is watching Hunter just sees him talking to himself. "Hunter? Who are you talking to?"

That's when he notices "Oh... I am the only one who can see them..."

He doesn't tell anyone. Of course.

Turn to one of the previous guards lecturing him "JUST TELL THEM! THEY ARE YOUR FRIENDS!"

They settle on telling Luz first.

And surprise! Hunter isn't the only one who died! "Wait, you actually died?!" "Oh, ehm, yea-" "Me too!"

And they just talk for hours because they didn't have the courage to talk to anyone else about it because they don't want to make others worried. So shared trauma bonding over dying for these two!

(@dailyashleighraichu) Coro and Taima enter the therapist's office, and take a seat across from her. They both seem troubled, the worry and sadness very clear on their faces. After a beat of silence, Coro finally speaks up.

Coro: "We... really need some advice, Ms. Clementine. Our little sister is not doing very well. She's been hiding in her room a ton and doesn't hang out with us like she use to. We're really worried about her..."

Taima: "She also hasn't been eating like she use to. It's just really unlike her. It's almost like she completely changed personalities on us one day. Is there anything we can do to possibly help her? We both feel at a loss for... everything."

The two hybrids look to the Meowstic, desperate for an answer.

"And if you were to take the time to find the source of those comments, of these thoughts, it would be nice to bring her away from it and introduce her to decent people and spaces - it might be nice if you convinced her to have a session as well, I could figure out more."

"If she avoids you, don't beg her to come to you, just wait - it'll only be more overwhelming, it's really best to let her be until you actually see the chance to reach, which, if found, must be taken."
