Okay first of all, these two would try to win you over IN COMPLETELY OPPOSITE WAYS.

Lance is, of course, over the top and very romantic and kind of cliche but so considerate and thoughtful and sweet.

Keith will be more nonchalant and mysterious, trying to use his skills and talents to impress you. He’s the type to slowly win you over by being very genuine and honest.

It started when Lance threw a pick up line your way and not only was the line terrible…but you actually laughed at it. It brought some pink to your cheeks as well. They both noticed that.

Lance was very smug about the fact that he made you giggle and blush.

Keith was a little annoyed at first, thinking Lance was just being his usual obnoxious self. So Keith just kept trying to make moves on you in his own way.

One day, Lance walked into the training room to see you and Keith sitting beside each other on the floor, breathing heavily as if you’d just decided to take a break. He couldn’t really hear what Keith was saying but you looked very focused, very into the conversation and you two were sitting just a little bit too close for his liking.

Lance didn’t like the eyes you were making at the red paladin

But Keith sure did. He was so excited to be sitting so close to you.

Then it’s like the spider man meme of them pointing at each other like 😧👉🏻 👈🏻😮

“Wait! You like (Y/N)? No no no, you can’t! I like (Y/N)!”

For the next week, they’re both acting like goofballs around you.

It’s kind of hilarious and very entertaining for you because…you notice that they start adopting each other’s ways of flirting and dropping hints. They do a little swap.

It’s like they think the other person has a better chance with you so they try to switch it up and copy each other. Lance thinks Keith’s ‘mysterious bad boy’ persona is something you’re into. Keith thinks you find happiness in all the silly, goofy things Lance does. So they both try to switch it up in hopes of making you fall for them. Does that make sense?

Imagine Keith trying to use a pick up line on you and failing miserably. He’s probably sweating through his shirt and his mouth is dry bc he’s so close to you, he can smell your shampoo. He’d end up stuttering and then getting really pissed at himself for looking dumb in front of you. May go back to his room and pout if he felt things didn’t go well.

Now imagine Lance trying to be all soft spoken and mysterious, trying to act cool. Lance trying not to talk too much is the equivalent of him holding his breath. It’s only a matter of time before he breaks character and says some dumb, cheesy shit that has you rolling your eyes. He awkwardly shuffles away to his room and also pouts bc he feels like he’s just loud and annoying.

The boys got into a yelling match about it once. The pot just boiled over and all you could do was watch.

That was their very shitty, joint confession of their feelings for you- them screaming about who likes you more, who liked you first, who you’re more compatible with, ect ect blah blah blah

And all the while, the whole team is so confused

Cue Allura and Hunk stepping in between them because both their faces are turning red from anger and jealousy.

Everyone just looks at Shiro like 👀

Shiro sits them both down for a long chat and by the end of it, the boys have come to terms with the fact that they both like you and not only is it your choice who you’d want to be with, but there’s a lot of other things to be worried about rn. They shouldn’t, and they won’t, pressure you.

Buuttttt…they do keep up some of the same things they like to do with you.

Keith still trains with you often (and he really enjoys helping you with your stance/posture bc he gets to be touchy✨)

Lance still invites you into his room to play video games (and he always seems out of breath when you sit so close to him, your arm touching his)

They try their best to control their temper around you and they try not to be around when you’re with the other person. They don’t need to see you being all close and personal with someone who isn’t them. :,(

The boys just continue to be their normal selves with you. They figure you should get to know them, the real them, before you make any decisions.

Yes, they both like you.

Yes. They’re both very competitive and very jealous.

But they respect each other and they respect you.

And we are in the middle of an intergalactic war right now, this is not a real priority.

They’ll give you some time and a pace to think about it.

notes: ahhhh my boy my boy my boy i love poe sm and this wraps up our star wars section for the fic event. and this has been in my drafts for ages holy SHIT i wanted to get it done but i was distracted as fuck

he needed you. he needed you bad.

just seeing you from across the tarmac wasn't enough. he wanted to hold you, cradle you, kiss you. he knew that as the best pilot in the resistance, he couldn't afford any distractions, but you were just so ... you.

everything about you drove him wild. your smile, the way your eyes sparkled in the sun, your hard work and determination. and when he finally got the chance to be alone with you, it was worth every second he had to wait.

since your alone time was always brief, he had to make it count. he needed to make sure that you remembered how much he loves you, how much he misses you, and how when all of this is over and you've claimed victory, he can be with you publicly. which was all he wanted. he wanted to show the galaxy who had his heart.

but for now, he would settle for making you come undone in the dead of night.

that night, after most of the other med staff had gone off to their quarters, poe had snuck into your office and locked the door behind him, catching you by surprise.

"poe!" you said, your face lighting up as you smiled.

"hey, you," he murmured, hugging you gently. "missed you all day."

"i missed you, too," you said, pulling back to kiss his cheek.

"no, i mean i really, really, really ... " he grinned as you laughed and kissed the corner of his mouth. "i could have kept going."

"oh, i know. come on, we can make it back to my quarters if we're fast enough," you said, but his grip on your hips only tightened.

"oh no, i don't think i can wait that long. when i said i really, really really missed you, that was my way of saying i can't wait any longer. not even a five minute walk."

he began to kiss down your neck, pulling you flush against his body. you tilted your head back with a soft sigh, and your hand went to his hair, running your fingers through it.

"i missed your smile." a kiss. "your eyes." another kiss. "the way your nose scrunches when you laugh." kiss.

his hands roamed across your body, but his touches were gentle, loving. they weren't frantic, like usual. but it was like you could finally take your time together. your office was private, and suddenly, you had all the time in the galaxy.

you watched as he slowly lowered himself to his knees before you, and his fingers hooked into the waistband of your pants.

"poe ... " you whispered, leaning back against your desk.

"shh, let me just ... " he shimmied your pants down your legs, and when they got to your feet, he helped you pull them off over your shoes. he did the same with your underwear, leaving you exposed to him.

"missed these legs," he murmured, running his hands along the softness of your skin. "and these thighs." he gave them a squeeze, and he grinned when his hands didn't go all the way around. "lots to love."

I had some thoughts I wanted to share with you.

Lucerys and reader are going to have a baby. The reader is nervous about childbirth and Luke comforts her saying he will be there for her being the sweet boy he is. Rhaenyra also talks a lot with her, knowing she has given birth so many times.

Bonus: In my head they would have a beautiful baby boy that looks like this (the pictures is from rosiecobalt on Pinterest)

Hello love!! Ahh, yes, I'm writing all my pending requests + the 3rd chapter of TLTSTD! :o also, thank you so sm for sharing your thoughts ahhhh you guys have no idea how I absolutely love them! I kinda needed this because I needed inspo to write, and thia definitely helped 😍❤

I think Dad! Lucerys would be the sweetest thing ever. From the second you both find out you're about to be parents, throughout your entire pregnancy. Luke is naturally a clingy boy with you, but now that you're pregnant with his babe, he'll be even clingier than he already is! And more overprotective, of course — he knows he needs to take good care of you, and make sure all your needs are covered. I can already picture him being 24/7 by your side taking hold of your hand, or perhaps simply rubbing your stomach lovingly with nearly heart eyes.

I can already imagine Luke going often to his mother, Rhaenyra, in search of some parenting advice and recommendations for pregnancy. Nyra will also often be by your side — along with Luke — to comfort you, and talk to you about the things you will have to expect and know when bringing your babe into the world. Her comforting words — and experience — are of great help, and she is a spectacular mother-in-law, I just know. I also know Rhaenyra would probably give you some name suggestions, both for boys and girls, because that's how lovely she is.

But, the nearer to giving birth you are, the nervous you become about it. The possible complications, the pain you know you will feel throughout the birth, the health of the babe, all those types of things that naturally cross your mind with every passing full moon, and every day closer to giving birth.

Luke will also be nervous as hell, probably even more nervous than you yourself are, but he will keep those nerves perfectly hidden just to not make you feel anymore anxious, and being the sweet little gentleboy he is, Luke will fill your face with kisses whenever you tell him about your fears when giving birth, and will tell you that he will stay by your side the entire time, and that he will make sure you're in safe hands.

The day of giving birth to your babe he fulfilled his promise, and the second he was informed about the beginning of your labour, he immediatly left everything he was doing just to rush to you and stick by your side; holding your hand — even if you squeezed his a bit too harshly, but it's understandable —, giving you sweet words like for example that everything is alright and that you're doing excellent, kissing your cheeks and forehead, wiping away some sweaty strands of hair from your precious face, etc. Literally stood by your side like he said he would! Heart eyes... 😍💘 Also, Luke would bring Rhaenyra with him, because she will also help you soothe and calm down with her own words, understanding how painful it is.

I always imagined Luke being the dad of a boy as well; and the moment he hears baby crying and sees you calm down, everything surrounding him would stop, and right there, he'll leisurely let go of your hand, and he will take the baby from the maiden's arms, who helped you give birth to your babyboy, and gave it to him. Luke would softly hold it and help wrap it in soft, velvet blankets, and he would admire the crying babe.

“Congratulations, my prince. It's a healthy boy.”

Oh my, he surely is over the moon with the baby's little coos, soft crying, his hands trying to touch his father's face, the little soft baby hair, his rosy chubby cheeks... I think he would get a bit emotional at it, and it would be hard for him to contain some tears from escaping, or from being overwhelmed wkth emotions. I know the child would even have his vivid green eyes.

Baelornys, you'd name him. It was your suggestion, and you both agreed to it. And our little soft boy can't be anymore over the moon with his little son than he already is. He'll be an excellent, sweet, caring, and protective father... as well as husband, who would make sure you get properly taken care of after your birthgiving. ❤

You were currently back stage, people were arriving and queueing up to watch others before your headlining performance. You were sat with all the boys around and you had ordered some food before hand.

You were sat in between Talia, your life long friend and Harry. Everyone was so excited about today. After most performers had done their shows, the sun was setting and the mood was perfect. It was now your time to shine. So you went over towards the stage with the boys. You were hugging them all, Josh said “put on the best show for all of us, yeah?” You smiled and nodded “of course I will!” Harry said “I’d say break a leg but we know what happened last time!” You laughed as you hugged him and replied “yep! Definitely remember!” As you were done. You heard your intro song come on. Then it was time!

You ran out on stage as everyone cheered loudly. You waved and pointed to your hair as you knew people at the festival most likely didn’t have service. Then the crowd screamed even louder as if that was possible. You smiled and spoke into the microphone “hi guys! Do you like my new hair?” You pointed the mic to the crowd and heard everyone cheer. You said “is everyone ready!!” You heard the beginning of your song start to begin and you started to sing.

After some time, you were given a little break so the crew behind the scenes could prepare your guitar and such. You said into the microphone “ok, you guys an have a breather! We definitely went all out, huh?!” You laughed and said “make sure you drink and check up on yourself or the people around!. While everything is getting set up! I have two announcements. I don’t know if you guys have seen my post but I mentioned that I have two announcements. So imma tell you guys first!” You took a breather and said “first things first I’m glad to announce that you guys will be hearing a new album soon!!” The crowed cheered loudly. You said “also I have some special guests, they have been with me since day one, through thick and thin! Believed in me no matter what! Please welcome my friends, the sidemen!!” Everyone was cheering as they watched the boys appear from behind back stage. Walking over to you they all either dapped you up or hugged you. You spoke into the microphone “you guys should’ve seen their reactions to my new hairstyle, should I post their reactions?” And by guessing by the cheering they said yes.

The boys were on stage for a few minutes before waving their goodbyes and letting you finish up the show.

What Could Disrupt their Relationship and What They Can Do: (three cards came FLYING) Reversed World, Reversed Queen of Swords, and Queen of Cups….well the queen of swords is clearing Harry’s personal insecurities returning and with the world, which is also a self doubt card reversed, it sounds like this is a huge problem for them. But the queen of cups is literally like queen of empathy and emotions to me, so it sounds like just focusing on each other’s emotional needs and communicating will be the key

CHAPTER SEVEN

“Why the hell is your shirt so wet?”

Keefe stopped in his tracks, mentally bracing himself for an argument or a lecture. Slowly, he turned to face his father.

“It’s nothing,” he settled for, trying to escape the situation, but Cassius took one big stride closer to grip his son’s varsity jacket by the collar. Keefe whipped his head to the side; the cigarette smell coming from his mouth was too much to bear.

“Oh, but it’s something,” his father insisted. “What did you do this time, you useless delinquent?”

“I got paint on my shirt, that’s all!”

“Well. Wouldn’t expect anything better from you.” Cassius snorted. “No dinner for you tonight. Go up to your room and stay there, you hear me boy?”

Keefe’s rebellious streak suddenly emerged and he shot back, “I’m not ability challenged, you know. I can hear just fine.”

Cassius shoved him back so hard, Keefe hit the wall with an “oof”. His father only laughed cruelly and strolled the other way like he hadn’t just abused his only son–whose elbow was probably damaged from the impact. Keefe gripped his injured arm and scurried up the stairs, half in fear and half because he needed to get away from everyone. There was someone who could make him feel better, but he was too tired to call her. Plus, he was ninety-nine percent sure she wouldn’t want to be around a depressed kid who didn’t have his feelings set straight. In this state, he would most likely embarrass himself in the worst way possible. It was better for everyone if he was left alone.

Just before Keefe went to sleep, he removed the false bottom from his drawer and rummaged through. Once his fingers brushed against a spiral notebook, he pulled it out and settled in his bed, taking off his shirt to wrap it around his arm like a sling. And with a deep breath, he pressed his pencil to the paper.

Keefe let his hands completely take over, drawing curved lines and shading different sections. He drew two perfect eyes, tiny flecks surrounding the iris. He sketched her full lips, her blinding beam, the way her left eye had more lashes than the other since she always pulled on them.

When he was finished, he was left with a portrait of Sophie Elizabeth Foster staring up at him with a wide, innocent look. Keefe gripped his notebook, not able to take his eyes off her. How a girl like her had come into his life so suddenly, he didn’t know. But the universe seemed to taunt him with the fact that she would never be his.

The funny part? Keefe already belonged to her.

Sophie and Keefe had just stepped into her house when her phone rang with a notification. “What now?” Sophie sighed as she pulled it out. Keefe leaned forward to see but the glare of the lights made it extremely difficult. He watched Sophie instead, as her eyes widened and her brows rose far above her hairline.

“What happened?” Keefe dared to ask, only to be hit by the Foster frenzy Sophie was going through.

“Oh, shit! I am so sorry, Keefe, I can’t do our session today. Fitz and I have a date at four that I can’t cancel. I don’t even have time to get ready!”

Keefe wilted visibly at his ex best friend’s name. Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at his watch: three thirty-six.

“It’s fine.” At his tutee’s agitated expression, he said, “It’s fine, Foster. Really. I don’t mind.” But in his head, he thought fiercely, oh, but I do mind. I mind very much.

That very thought evaporated when Sophie shot him a grateful smile, leaving his brain blank and useless for anything other than gawking at her. “Thank you so much,” she said in one breath. “I’ll drop you off on the way, alright?” Leaving no room for an argument, she dropped her bag at the bottom of the staircase and dashed up to her room.

Silence. The ginormous gold clock hanging on the living room wall ticked mercilessly. Keefe pinned his eyes to the minute hand and watched it make its way around the circular surface.

Once that got boring, Keefe began to explore the house. It was extremely quiet, of course; Grady was probably at work, and maybe Edaline was out running errands. But even with no one present, he could still imagine the joyful memories made here: baking in the kitchen, games in the main room, happy meals in the dining area. Upon the sight of that glass table, Keefe was brought back to the time when Sophie invited him to dinner. It was ridiculously awkward, of course, but that didn’t mean he hated it entirely. In fact, it was probably his first time in ages having home-cooked food with other people; he and his father usually got takeout and ate in their separate chambers.

At this point, Keefe was near the stairs, admiring himself in the mirror hanging off one of the walls, flexing his injured elbow. And at this precise moment, Sophie chose to emerge from her bedroom.

The soft taps of her converse jolted him out of his narcissistic trance, causing him to look up. Once he set his eyes on her, he couldn’t bring himself to look away.

Unlike Biana, Sophie wasn’t much for sparkles and extravaganza, yet somehow she managed to make everything look good. Keefe ran his eyes over the simple white crop top, her denim shorts, and the pink and blue flannel she’d thrown on over it as she descended like a regal queen. Her hair was down as usual, like a graceful waterfall, but she’d braided it in a half-up half-down hairdo. She was gorgeous, she was stunning, she was beautiful, and Keefe couldn’t help but stare.

Sophie looked at him through her lashes. “Keefe? Keefe! C’mon, let’s g–”

It all played out in slow motion. On the second to last step of the stairs, Sophie yelped, tripping over her own feet, arms pinwheeling in an attempt to regain balance. As she fell backward, Keefe grabbed her hand and planted his on her back, promptly preventing her from splitting her head open on the steps.

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod, Keefe thought in a blur of thrill and shock. Because in this position, with Sophie in his arms, her lips were closer than they ever had been before. In the next few seconds, their choppy breaths synchronized with one another like a harmony to a melody. For some reason, Keefe seemed to feel everything but nothing at once. It was a curious emotion, one he’d never felt prior to Sophie’s appearance in his life, but it resurfaced every time he was within a six-feet radius of her. He was one-hundred percent sure Sophie could hear the wild, hysteric beat of his heart.

She was a mess of gorgeous chaos, he could see it clearer than anything in her eyes. He looked at her fondly, savoring the moment before it ended; Keefe knew it was only for a few seconds, but to him it lasted an eternity

She has a boyfriend, an unelpful voice sang in his head. Clearing his throat, Keefe pulled her to a standing position.

“That was quite the fall, Foster,” he said to break the tense silence. A bright red color crept onto Sophie’s cheeks. “You really know how to make a dramatic entrance, don’t you?”

“I didn’t fall,” she muttered defiantly as they walked to the door, still flustered. “I just— attacked the floor.”

Keefe lifted one eyebrow. “Backwards?”

“I’m freaking talented, okay?”

“Whatever you say, Foster,” Keefe said, grinning like a maniac. A minute passed before Sophie glanced over again and said,

“Quit smirking at me!”

“I’m not smirking.”

“Well stop laughing at me, I’m serious!”

“I’m not laughing!” Sophie crossed her arms, frowning. Keefe could sense the irritation building up inside of her and couldn’t resist feeling somewhat proud that he was able to get a rise out of her so quickly.

“Then quit whatever it is you’re doing.”

“This is just me with a cheery disposition, a ray of sunshine in the mist of bleakness! Don’t put a cloud over my sunshine– OW!”

Sophie was the one smirking now, her arm still outstretched from flinging her purse at his head (with a surprising amount of force that Keefe hadn’t anticipated). In her eyes was an evil glint, the one he’d seen when Ms. Clarette had forced Sophie to apologize for smacking him with that book of hers.

When she brushed her hair out of her face and strided towards her car, he swore he spotted a hint of a genuine smile on her face. Out of the blue, he wondered what ran through her head when someone said his name. Did her stomach flutter nervously like his did? Did she feel giddy too?

Of course she didn’t. She had Fitz to think about, didn’t she? She already had someone to fawn over.

But he just couldn’t stay mad, seeing her cute pout while she struggled to open the car door before realizing she hadn’t unlocked it yet. Keefe snickered, stopping abruptly when Sophie shot him a glare that could kill. “Just get in the fucking car, Sencen,” she said exasperatedly. Trying his best to forget his crush was going on a date with his ex best friend, Keefe gave her a mock salute.

“Aye aye, Captain.”
