i watched a youtube about various youtubers' "worst best movies" and like. so many of them were simply movies that are bad that they have secret fondness for, often but not exclusively due to nostalgia or due to one or two good scenes. which is so far removed from the way unhinged fandom brained tumblrinas like me conceive of a "worst best" movie that i honestly didn't know what to do with it.

My entire childhood was spent turning up the tv volume to ridiculous levels and fighting to have subtitles on in a house that hated subtitles and it took until adulthood for us to figure out I was hearing impaired lmaooo.

Distinctly remember watching the entirety of Ace Ventura Jr completely silent with just subtitles cos I set the dvd player up wrong and didnt plug the audio in and being fine with it cos I was so used to not really hearing the tv properly anyway.

i grew up in new england, which has notoriously awful roads, but i also grew up constantly in the car bc my dad likes to go for hours-long drives down little twisty-turny, hilly backroads

what this amounts to is that i rly love the feel of shitty roads lmao. the bumps, the bobbles, the potholes, all a sear comfort to me lmao
