Prompt:

It has been weeks since the Questing Beast, weeks since Arthur was bitten, weeks since Merlin died.

Arthur was devastated to learn what happened, and he struggled as he mourned a servant who should never have been his friend.

But something was wrong.

The next time Arthur went out with a patrol, they were attacked by bandits. Arthur was stabbed. It was a mortal wound.

His knights managed to bring him back to the castle alive, back in time to say his goodbyes. But he lingered longer than expected, until Gaius confirmed that somehow, impossibly, the wound was healing.

It was not the only fatal blow Arthur was to suffer, and yet he somehow survived every one, simply adding to his collection of scars. He set off on a quest to find the cause.

He learned the truth of his birth from Morgause, and wondered if this was the cause of his curse, of his inability to die. She assured him that this couldn’t have been the case.

His quest eventually brought him back to Camelot, to the cavern of the dragon deep beneath the castle, but he would only give one very confusing answer:

“The life of an immortal cannot be taken. It can only be given.”

How I headcanon Spider's role in the sully family pre avatar the way of water and during the movie: its kinda like he's part of the family as a knight in a way. Like, "I pledge my loyalty to this family, I will die for them, keep their secrets, and fight with them." I mean isn't that what spider's role is in canon anyway? Jake is the head of the family, Neytiri is the lady of the family. Spider is a knight who pledges his life and loyalty to the sully family, especially to the sully kids. Jake can't take him in, but spider pledges loyalty to him anyway, and deny his bloodline because that's how much he loves this family and the Na'vi.

I don’t get why people are so shocked and upset that spider went back for Quaritch, cause think about it. 

all Quaritch has done throughout the movie was show spider mercy, whether as a front or because he genuinely cared doesn’t matter (it varied from moment to moment) cause 16 year olds, abused/neglected ones especially, are notoriously horrible at knowing when they’re being used/manipulated. 

Quaritch was the one who stopped the literal torture and interrogation, who put him in a cell and showed him human (or na’vi in this case) connection, apologizing for what his father did to him. he was the one who brought him along, who respected him, who treated him like he was worth something. when neytiri was going to kill him (part of me want to think she was bluffing, even if its unlikely, my only ‘evidence’ is that she threw him behind her in a protective stance instead of in front of her like an offering, and I choose believe that and only that to be the case, because I can) he put his own motives aside to protect him. 

did Quaritch always have spiders best interests in mind when he did those things? no, probably now. do I think Quaritch always had spider in his mind and moral even before the kid started to grow on him? yes, I think that part of him always cared a little, just enough for him to protect spider even when it slowed things down for him, and in time I think Quaritch saw spider as his son in a weird trauma bond way. I think spider picked up on that and his need to be wanted and loved and accepted played a big role in the ending of the movie. 

he is desperate, he has seen Quaritch do horrible things, but he has also seen him be swayed to have mercy, to do whats right, he wants to believe that this man who has given him everything he has ever wanted can be redeemed, because he is desperate for that attention. when he saves him, he leaves him to himself, to Eywa, and to the elements. he wants his dad, but knows he has to change first. 

I really hope R Tord matures as he gets older or finds some SOME common ground with Tom

2 nights in a row I heard a woman yelling hysterically, “IT’S NOT WORKING, IT’S NOT WORKING!!!”. Well of course it’s not working. This child of God is protected through the power of Jesus Christ and God’s everlasting love. You are attempting to KILL an innocent person using demons as spiritual ASSASSINS.

Attacking a servant of God has serious consequences. Don’t say I didn’t warn you or try to save your life because what is coming is devastating ⚠️ A soul crushing defeat is coming for someone who engages in this behaviour. And if this comes to pass, all of you will know why.
