After several attempts, I finally have an acceptable Tang Dynasty round collar robe. In blue, which 5000 Years of Chinese Costumes says denotes officials of the eight or ninth rank.
Especially helpful was this article:
The photo of the tan robe from the Nara Shosoin Reposity was the only extant Tang garment that showed garment construction information, like how the arms are attached, that I have been able to find. (And trust me, I've spent months looking at Tang Dynasty costumes online.)
All hand sewn. I still need to work on getting my stitches smaller and more even. And the collar is a bit too large. Hopefully, when he is upgraded to a seveth rank official and gets a new green robe, I will be a better seamstress.
His futou is felt, dampened with water and white craft glue and molded over household items. When dry, it holds its shape.

MOAR JEWELS!
While waiting for my custom printable for the 50/50 to arrive, I have been working on holiday exchange things. For dolls. Because. So, once again, walk into the land of camera skills that totally rock (*snorts, holding back laughter*).

Sometimes I wonder why I try to photo silver against an aluminum foil base for my gown designs. Like a fool.

This one is not so bad, I think. Also, that one above making me think of a Crown of Thorns sort of necklace... or head piece. The Inspiration!

Earlier I got reminded of this Doll Sized Goku I used to have from the early 00s.. Weirdly his outfit is cloth goods and removeable but his boots weren't as they were molded on (and had an ankle hinge). I have no idea what happened to him. But this did get me thinking that if I did have barbies as a kid, my Goku totally would've hung out with them.

Took me a while to finish this because the coat was a nightmare, and it's not my best work but ahhh, it's finally (mostly finished). One day I might 3d print the hammer and color it to finish the look.
Seriously it sucks that there very little merch for Arcane that isn't about Jinx. There are so many cool characters.
