Als ich noch jünger war,
Ohne Falten und mit vollem Haar,
Lag ich oft nächtelang wach.
Dachte nach .
Schaltete das Kopfkino an.
Schaute das ganze Tv-Programm.
Auch das Testbild summte ich mit:
Büüh... bis sechs in der Früh.
Ich hatte solche Ringe unter den Augen
War wie 100 Hunde so müde, kannste mir glauben.
Ein Freund fragte dann, warum ich mich quäle?
Warum ich nicht einfach Schafe zähle?
Gesagt, getan. Noch in der selben Nacht fing ich an.
Stellte mir vor, wie eine Schafherde
Vor mir ûber die Straße querte.
Das war ein Riesen-Gedränge!
Der Schäferhund bellte sich quer durch die Schafemenge!
Ein Lämmchen ging seiner Mutter verloren
Und schrie- Schweiß stand mir in den Poren!
Hinter mir fing es zu hupen an.
Kurz: Ich habe kein Auge zu getan!
Doch jetzt hab ich des Rätsels Lösung gefunden!
Seitdem dauert das Einschlafen nur wenige Sekunden.
Man darf sich nicht mit den Schafen quälen,
Man braucht einfach nur die Schäfer zählen.
Die einfach nur Ruhe verbreiten,
Auf einem Stock gestürzt wie seit Urzeiten.
Zählt also die Schäfer und werdet zum Langschläfer!
Schafen im All wird schnell übel

55/100 days of productivity
i must say, i think my day of rest actually worked. i feel much better and am glad i can now actually focus on studying/normal life again. it's terribly boring to be in bed all day.
goals:
- read/finish 'Antifa' by Mark Bray
- clean up room, reset for the week
- study (i'll decide on specifics later)
very glad to be back, even though i'm obviously not at a 100% yet. i hope you can start the week with the same rejuvenated feeling.

• I went to a cafe to get some work done and it went so great until I got hungry and the headband I had on started messing with my head. I didn’t cover much honestly, I always get surprised at the amount of content all my courses have😭
• I went shopping for the concert I have tomorrow cause I’m not feeling too excited about it cause I’m going alone so I’m trying to up the vibes.
• I watched Gone Girl for the first time and I enjoyed it a lot. I didn’t do any reading at all though.
• I’m in bed by 23:30 and the dishes are done. Probably my biggest accomplishment today
All in all, today was good. I wish I studied after I had dinner but asides from that. 8/10
I think I’m going to abandon the productivity challenge cause I don’t do anything post consistently and I just feel bad about missing days.

Hi everyone :) i haven't posted one of these in a while but im back ;)
Today was super relaxed, I went shopping and got some skinscare too while I was out. I baked a lemon blueberry coffee cake with a lemon honey glaze (it was so yummy!!). I went to the gym but tbh there were a lot of teen boys there on top of the usual but unnecessary amount of frat bros for some reason and I felt pretty uncomfortable so i left early into my workout, but i will win the idgaf war at some point and not fear getting judged and stuff while working out. I'm ending the night by reading dune and some sex and the city episodes ✮ ⋆ ˚｡𖦹 ⋆｡°✩
