Ya know something I completely understand why Raph is angry all the time.

Yes I DO love them but also have you ever considered that they are just genuinely tasty and also also also consuming them is probably better for the environment considering most species are either invasive, proliferating to the point of messing up the ecosystem, or both so like don’t judge my life choices I still love jellyfish I’ll just eat em too

A Reminder For Myself (OOC)

Threads don't need to be vast epics that span over hundreds, if not thousands, of posts. They don't have to be year long treks. Sometimes they don't even have to have a good ending or definitive one. They can trail off into something else: a solo drable or spin off thread with someone else.

Short threads are okay. Dropped threads are okay. Remember to have fun. Remember to be respectful to your partners. Don't be pushy or forceful (especially when it comes to shipping!). It's okay to take a step back and reevaluate a thread. If you're just not feeling it, let it go. There'll be other threads to do and ideas to be had.

Remember that some characters just won't gel with each other. Just like some people don't. Likewise, remember that you'll not always do well with other muns/blog owners no matter how much you may personally wish it weren't so or desperately want to work with a muse they have.

Don't fret over if your blog is too far in one direction: nsfw or sfw and remember that sometimes it's okay to do a sideblog pure for the otherside of that coin. Similarly, you don't always need to have every single one of your muses be on one blog. Also: Don't be ashamed for just sticking with one or two muses for an extended period of time. If you're just not feeling a muse at that moment, then you're not feeling them. Don't let others push to use them.

I've got a feeling that I should come up with a name for the Welcome Home Muppet concept I've got going on since it could technically be an au?? Like I've done two shitposts on it and made two concepts in writing form to some extent so that's like gotta count for something.......

However it's also me just kinda rambling like I've got nothing better to do. But it's getting to a point where I'm like talking about it. Like legitimately putting thought and effort into it kinda rambling.

If you're roleplaying with me, I'd like to clarify a few things:

It's okay if your muse doesn't like (or even hate) my muse.

It's okay for your muse to not reciprocate the feelings of my muse if my muse ends up falling in love with your muse.

It's okay for your muse to fall in love with my muse.

It's okay for your muse to be violent against my muse.

It's okay for your muse to change their perception of my muse over time or after a specific interaction.

I'm open to try out different dynamics with the same muse — like maybe in one au, they're lovers and in another au they're enemies.

In fact, as long as I know that mun is a rational human being I'll allow most things to happen to my muse or between our muses.

I'll likely lose interest if mun appears to be uncomminucative. Initially roleplaying is a two-way interaction. I don't want to accidentally offend or hurt you because we failed to properly communicate. (Let's face it. It's more fun when it happens ic than ooc).

#psa #also reason why i would really like to get to know mun and talk ooc before interacting #i won't ever force myself or anyone to try to have a specific dynamic if it won't work out but i'll always be willing to try it out #some dynamics might also just take a while to achieve #but please if my muse feels a certain way it's jsut how they feel and that does not necessarily reflect mun's feelings #in return your muse is more than welcome to react in a way that is natural to their character #though if your muse is supposed to be unlikable and i say i hate them pls take it as a compliment lol #it means you're doing an excellent portrayal

Bad news: I've been quiet on here because of massive stress IRL from work and other stuff.

Good news: I've been trying to pick away at drafted stuff and I do have a lot of writing muse. Also, my boss is back tomorrow so hopefully my stress will be cut in half.

I'm going to continue to try to pick away at things and either horde them in my drafts or Google Docs. I'll probably mass post them and the like once I can settle down for a night.

Well, I was going to do things after the play...But then I got a text from my brother's girlfriend saying that she just brought my brother to the hospital. I won't go into the reason why he got admitted but it came on suddenly from what I was told. She's staying with him for as long as she can tonight so she can update me if anything changes. Due to the play and tomorrow being a midday show, my mom and aunt are going to see him and keep his girlfriend company.

Needless to say, this has significantly dropped my mood. I'm still going try to do things on here but I honestly going to limit myself to just fluff threads and things I have the drive to do. That most likely means I'm going to focus on certain people too. I'm hoping once I find out more that things will change but for now this is how it's going to be.
