The restaurant was close to the hotel, so you walked there with the help of google maps. Once you were seated, the waiter gave you the menu and told you you just needed to raise your hand when you were ready to order.

The food was on another level, and even made you afraid the food of the other places wouldn't be as good. Suddenly, the waiter let you know someone was trying to pay for you. You looked at him confused and he pointed at the entrance where you found Mingyu smiling. You sighed and shook your head no and asked the waiter to give you your check.

Mingyu waited for you, telling his friends he would see them in the hotel. When you got out of the restaurant, you already knew he would be there.

— How nice of you, but a little bit creepy if you ask me. — You said when you were in front of him.

SEOKMIN IN FIRE EMBLEM AU; a headcanon list

While it doesn’t have a specific game from the series in the title, i’ll be using Three Houses as my main inspiration since it’s the one I recently played. Will not follow the game’s plot directly bc i’ll be focusing more on the school and daily life parts more lol.

Lee Seokmin, the second child and next in line to be the head of House Lee, one of the five great houses of the Leicester Alliance. His family is known to possess great vocal ability so most of them became singers and bards and well acquainted with the opera

I think he fits a class that can wield a sword the best (this is me going off on vibes alone and based it off arthur!kyeom). Personally, i’d put him as either a soldier or hero class but being part of the cavalier is good too. The thing is, Seokmin is just as skilled with a bow. Much like the other kids from the leicester alliance, he’s been trained to be able to use one with great accuracy but after trying a sword, he found it much more comfortable to use.

Final verdict — his starting class is hero.

Seokmin is a protector. He will, instinctively, gladly take the hit for you. The type to subtly pull you behind him when on the battlefield bc he’d rather have you out of harm’s way. You know that look when he’s super focused? He eyes his enemies like a hawk, he’ll be ready to counter and block whoever is daring enough to make the first move.

But like that’s what makes it his biggest weakness too, the emotional side that comes out especially when he’s so riled up. he was once chastised by Seungcheol, after a mission went awry. He got riled up so bad, emotions blinding him that he failed to notice a teammate get tag teamed by one of the enemy soldiers. Had Jeonghan been a second late, it could’ve ended with one of them dead. They were lucky to get out alive, gravely injured but alive.

Seokmin vows never to let his rage blindside him again.

Ok but can you imagine his support dialogues? The s-support dialogue?? Gonna go insane thinking about it bc i bet it’ll be so sweet. Instead of the usually loud and energetic seokmin, we are greeted by the softer and gentler side of himself. The lover; the one who looks at you with so much affection that it manifests in the way he treats you. He talks in whispers bc he fears that any decibel higher than 40 will shatter the fragile atmosphere he has with you. Goddess forbid.

He’ll take your hand gently in his, his thumbs rubbing small circles on the back of your palm like a promise that he’ll keep the world safe for you because he’d rather go to hell first and suffer if it meant keeping the love of his life safe.

Anyways, you’ll find Seokmin usually by the stables or the dining hall. He has an affinity with horses and often volunteers to help with the horses and pegasi. Oftentimes, you’d find him making pizza with Mingyu. The entire monastery now knows the second and third wednesdays of the month are unofficiall ‘pizza nights’.

Seokmin naturally gets along with students from the other houses. his bright disposition and easy going nature making it easy to befriend those around him. He’s kind of like a magnet? Also he sings really well, and he sings everywhere at anytime, it’s hard not to ignore him (bad thing or not).

He’s also in the choir with Seungkwan and Joshua. Jeonghan joins from time to time.

introducing convex’s next comeback, ‘pretty u’. february 12th, 2020: line distribution, & february 22nd, 2020: choreography.

now, this — this is seungcheol’s favourite comeback yet.

with just the line distribution and the demo in his hands, he’s already loving the vibes of their newest track. the staff had mentioned a spring comeback and honestly, seungcheol felt like the song was perfect for the season, even early summer if there were any unexpected circumstances to factor in. it felt like their debut song, like their anniversary song, but better, more vibrant, more refined. not to mention he wholeheartedly loved his parts, the rap in the rough middle of the song and the rap team’s combined outro. he even attempts woohyun’s three-part high note after the bridge a few times for fun and imagines there’ll be plenty of people at home that won’t be able to resist doing the same ( and will likely do it better than him, too, though now he’s determined to master it despite probably never actually needing to ).

later, when they add the choreography, for the first time in a while, it doesn’t seem to matter how difficult it is for him at first. there’s so many layers to it, so many props and quirks and silly little things that make it so uniquely convex and so fun that he forgets to berate himself, forgets that he can’t actually dance that well. how can he dwell on such negativity when he’s hiding behind a couch? when he’s bouncing around, stomping his foot, playing on the sofa with the other rap unit members, how can he think about anything other than how cute all of this is? everything about ‘pretty u’ is feel good and it rubs off on him.

as always, he learns his own lines first and then moves on to everyone else’s. over time, listening to the track on repeat, it’d come naturally anyway but he likes to make a point of it just in case he ever needs to know any other lines. sometimes hosts ask members to sing bits of their new titles; he’d hate to be that idol that can’t even remember the chorus to his own song. he’ll embarrass himself in some way, he’s sure, but he won’t let it be this.

Okay, actually let me go back to bad boy Hwa for a second 😌 becauseeeeee I accidentally stumbled upon an old fic about him on AO3. kevin and junyoung! ngl i sometimes think kevin is only my bias now out of loyalty lol but i love love love junnie! i think he’s one of the most talented idols to exist (a singer, rapper, dancer and actor all wrapped in one!!) and also a super humble, down-to-earth kid. i mean there’s a reason why so many people are friends with him and have such good things to say about him and idk i just really think ukiss raised him well and made him the thoughtful, hard-working idol he is today ;;

ok so it's not that I think they are mediocre but rather that I know how much being from a big company can determinate your success, onces will go on and on about how much jyp was broke before them and how sixteen had a low viewership rate and how jyp was almost "out" of the big3 (a lie bc if that was truly the case then yg wouldnt be considered big3 rn, big3 is about how much influence and power you have on media yes it's related to how rich the company is but not all that matters when we all know that's not even being considered by anyone lmao) but at the end of the day no matter what they were still under big3?? the amount of money they had to even START a show about the group and then to film the like ooh ahh mv was huge man, onces make it seem like they had 10 dollars and a dream when that was definitely not the case, I know I seem bitter about this but bc I'm a fan of a group who was truly in that situation it just seems so fake and attention seeking?? yall know how much an mv like like ohh ahh and cheer up cost?? yall know how much producers and outfits and hair and makeup and studio and everything else costs?? jyp was always powerful and just bc they were in a bad time and bc they got more rich after twice it doesnt mean they were # broke before them, of course luck is a factor in any situation but let's be honest, do you think if a company was that broke and if twice had done that badly in their debut an mv like cheer up would even exist?? it's expensive y'all

also about the mediocre thing: I dont think they are mediocre but rather that no twice track has made me fall in love with them, I do like some songs but that's it, I feel like after their cheer up promotions jyp was very smart and played all the right moves and got them even bigger, they are not mediocre but we all know jyp has a fucked up ear that has rejected THE iu and THE yuju which is now considered top3 best vocalists of the 3rd generation (along with eunji from apink and wendy from rv) and I dont think they have been necessarily giving them the songs that fit their voices the best, some of them are able to adapt better (nayeon) and some are not (ie: momo voice was too deep for some of her parts in more and more), at the end of the day it still sounds nice if you're not listening to the live locals, their choreography is okay but is more focused on going viral than anything lmao, it's not bad but you can definitely see the comeback their team opened their email box and found out about all the emails about onces having to defend themselves bc twice had easy choreographies and SOME members were still not doing okay vocally and then decided to turn up their difficultly level to catch up with the current trend among ggs at the time ON THE TOP OF making them a token gg (along bp) to white gays listen and like bc they werent cute like that anymore and were doing hard choreographies so they were # not like the other ggs and this only expanded twice fan numbers in western countries (I also think that the bigger a group is the more their fans get obsessed with them and stop caring about their song quality and only listen to them bc they're a fan not bc they truly enjoy the music anymore you know?? I feel like feel special was okay but if a smaller gg like idk weki meki (I know it's not their sound but bear with me) or even a nugu gg like pink fantasy had released it it wouldnt have achieved 10% of the numbers it did or even made these groups have a bigger fanbase you know??) so do I think if they were from an actual broke nugu company they would have be as famous as they are now releasing the same songs? no and there's nothing wrong with that, kpop isn't a talent show and it's more about how well known you are with the most basic stuff

Underrated SVT songs that need love (in my opinion)

Pretty U

- so this song is such a bop, honestly it’s probably my favorite title track next to Thanks

- lyrics talk about confessing to your crush even though you’re nervous and that’s just SO CUTE AND RELATABLE bc a lot of us have been there

- there’s also a really good mashup of pretty u and shine by Pentagon that gives me life

- best stage personality from the boys and every performance of this song is iconic plz give it more love

Swimming Fool

- hands down the best Performance Unit song, like highlight got nothing on swimming fool

- it’s so carefree, fun and wacky and the boys have so much fun performing

- the choreography is so well done and just screams Hoshi bc it’s so unique and funky

- I crack a smile every time I watch a performance because of the charisma coming from the the boys they’re so cute

- Dino’s vocals are amazing too

Flower

- I had to make this gif so ignore the lil stick lmao

- okay FLOWER

- tbh it’s not as underrated as I think it is but I still wanted to showcase TALENT

- the best is everything and Seungkwan/Jeonghan vocals are so smooth??? And angelic?? Ugh this song wrecks me

- also Dino and Minghao did the choreo and from a performer’s perspective it’s so amazing; the minute details, nuances in the movements, fluidity, and the motifs for the flower are so cool!!

- plz listen to this song it’s so good and all the performances are fantastic

Run to You

- this is my favorite b-side track from SVT hands down (directors cut is the best mini album fight me)

- the LYRICS

- also it’s practically a rock song and I’m living for that vibe

- I need a vocal unit cover of this song where they all play instruments again

- the bridge to this song + woozi/seungkwan high notes leading into the last chorus is iconic

- I belt this song in the shower and I’m proud of it

Happy Ending

- out of the three japanese title tracks I think Happy Ending is the most underrated one

- Callx3 got a lot of love (it’s also my favorite of the trio) and Fallin’ Flower surprised us all because of its structure

- but happy ending?? She slaps and everyone seems to forget that

- another rock vibe kind of song with hella awesome vocals

- the track itself is really well crafted and the vocals and raps fit perfectly into the vibe of the song

- plus the dance is iconic we love shoulder dancing

- also- THE INTRO!! Iconic.

Crazy in Love

- I went back and forth between this song and Fast Pace, but eventually I went with Crazy in Love is my personal favorite of the two

- go show love to Fast Pace tho

- I know I’ve mentioned vocals A LOT but the vocals in this song are fantastic!!

- the chorus itself I could listen to repeat all day and not get bored (especially Josh’s parts omg)

- the stage outfits were also really pretty and I liked them a lot bc they were simplistic but suited all the members really well

- the little foot choreo thing going on (see the gif) is also really cool and I love it

Without You

- this track is also one of my favorite b-sides bc I love me some good EDM music

- I think this song blindsided a lot of ppl bc of it’s relationship to DWC and then it was kinda forgotten??

- like it came out with teen age but it wasn’t really there until they dropped a dance practice

- also not everybody likes edm or non vocal chorus stuff it’s not a fan favorite in the experience I’ve had

- the dance is really smooth and fluid but also sharp and I really appreciate how well the boys can control both styles of dance

- harmonies are phenomenal too!!

- last but not least is 20, my favorite vocal unit track (also their debut track as a unit)

- since adore u was a LONG time ago (five years to the day) a lot of people don’t really listen to the album & it’s songs anymore but all of them were really iconic?!?!

- 20 is just another really fun and carefree song which is different from the regular ballads that the vocal team usually puts out

- also the song is literally about enjoying your life in your twenties and experiencing everything it has to offer

- who doesn’t love that sentiment?

- also JOSHUA’S VOCALS

- ALL OF THEIR VOCALS

- it’s just a bunch of really talented individuals jamming out and I appreciate that

i rate svt’s title songs out of 10

adore u: so cute. the bass?? FUNKY!! poppin!!! a good, wholesome cheery song that wasn’t overly fluffy or hardcore,, a Good debut. mv was so cute and their wide-eyed enthusiasm??? yes. solid 8/10

mansae: rocked a lil less hard,, i can never remember how this song starts if i haven’t heard it in a while oops... but really cute still because they were still in their Baby stage and were all so eager and wide-eyed fuck i miss that seventeen :( love the vibe and the dance, not so much the song :/ soz woozi 7/10 but would’ve given it a 6.5 if mingyu and jeonghan’s hair weren’t so FLY then

pretty u: i can will and have cried over this song. IMPECCABLY written. my pick me up song and my top song on spotify for 2 years. literally makes me smile every time i listen to it. is peak seventeen for me, sorry!!! loved the vibe the mv (oh dude. looooove) the innocence and the unbridled joy the whole era seemed to exude. plays in the happiest corner of my brain a definite 430528/10

aju nice: oh dude this shit hits smooooth!!! my first comeback with them and dude i loved the song. legendary. loved the concept of using suspenders, the upbeat summer popsicle vibe they had going and how good they all looked in the mv. + the girl in the mv was gorg. 10/10

boom boom: sorry. feels like a transition song (lol remember when this was the darkest we went with seventeen oof tbt) that,, while catchy just doesn’t have a place in my heart. didn’t feel grounded enough if you catch my gist. definitely ranks low for me out of all svt’s songs. oh but going seventeen. Best album. Deadass. love all the songs on there,, strong contender for my fav album. 5/10 but neo ne biorhythm slaps. so 5.5/10

don’t wanna cry: ah... the first time i heard it i Did Not like it. too edm for my taste and way too metallic and tinny - i thought they were becoming generic and boring and i was honestly disappointed BUT it grew on me!!! it did take a while but i really liked it in 2018 lol. also that dance??? fkin RAD. also the song that booooooosted svt’s popularity like mad so 9/10 good job woozi u r a genius

clap: LOVE. love the concept, the entire album, just the whole strong vibe that still maintains a certain upbeatness to it (unlike boomboom which was a lil flat for me) and dude they all looked so GOOD this era. unbelievable. nothing bad to say about the song at all. 10/10

thanks: sorry. absolutely not my thing. fell flat for me, and while i appreciate the sentiment and i Get that,,, i just... the song doesn’t do anything for me and the album is one of my least favourites. i do like that photo of mingyu or wonwoo holding a guitar awkwardly though and that pic of woozi on the piano but sorry i have to give u a 4/10. it just doesn’t do it for me :/

home: oh! love! gentle but still does a thing,,, not one of my favourites but i can vibe with it sometimes. also they got 10 wins for this song!!!!!! crazy!!! a really good wintery song,, it’s a 6.5/10 for me

oh my!: dude. loved this. i was so glad they did a cheerful concept again!! super catchy and cute and just. it hits different from their first three songs but is somewhat reminiscent of that vibe still. just a lot more grown up. made me miss pretty u them a shit ton. oh and the mixing on this song is craaazy. 9/10!!

fear: ok points for trying a dark concept and going vixx AND good job with the craazy good album too but .. not a big fan of the sound i guess. HOWEVER song still slaps. maybe it just sucks to see them grow up. 8/10.
