Idk whether you will even answer this ask or will block me but this is exactly why JK had similar concept pics like Jimin. Jikookers made it to be romantic while Fandom made it to a joke 'JK always copy Jimin' (ofcourse). I've seen you making multiple posts about Jikook concept pics being match is a proof of them being a couple when in reality Hybe don't even take permission of original artist before using their ideas for another. One hybe label just got into trouble for copying newjeans and according to CEO min heejin it was BANG SHIHYUK who wanted to copy newjeans to create a second version of them through illit. And guess what he made sure illit gets 10x more success than newjeans, a 2 day song was already charting in different charts including hot 100. The same bang shihyuk who ignored every bit of Jimin's success but shamelessly copied his ideas and visions of concept pics for another favorite member. He shamelessly asks staffs to copy original ideas of artists who created them and use them for a cheap version of the said artist, Newjeans and Jimin are just examples.

Was it JK's fault ? Not necessarily but unlike rookie Illit he had power and capability to make his own decisions and use his own visions instead of doing what he was asked to do by the staff (his words) but he didn't and sat comfortably while using another person's hardwork. If you still think those similarities were because they were couple then idk what to say because in that logic Newjeans girls and Illit girls are dating.

Talk about TikTok generation ask.

You say that you read through my posts. Well, obviously you've missed those many posts I've written explaining how JM and JK being a couple can be deducted not from one action or one behaviour alone, but the combination of many many actions or behaviours. A puzzle built of not 10 or 50 or 100 pieces, but one built of so many many more.

I find it funny how with everything that has been going on with JM and JK you guys are still at this.

We're back to JK copying JM.

Like seriously.

Like even if the whole NJ Illit thing was true there was some kind of a comparison to be made with these two men.

Like JK, who's album concept is 180 degrees different than JM's doesn't have stylists at his beck and call to create a concept that isn't a full on copy of JM's. Right down to the studs and colours and minutiae details of some of the outfits.

Like if he did copy JM, that same scorned poor JM (that's how you guys love to portray him, as a damsel in distress awaiting you to swoop in and save him) CHOSE to fly to NY to be with JK and spend Silver day there with him, travel with him multiple times and spend his entire 18 months in the army with that awful copy cat JK.

Your ask tells me that you have zero understanding in human interactions and relationships. JM saying time and time again, JOKING time and time again, about JK copying him, it's a tease but also something that he LOVES. How he inspires JK, how JK perceives him as his catalyst.

But this here, the photo concepts and the whole of JK's wardrobe while promoting, claiming it's all about copying JM is just bull crap. This was planned. And it was planned by the two of them. It's not a coincidence that JM happens to wear the bottom part of a two piece outfit months before JK wears the top part of the same exact outfit.

And if we are talking about copying, is it the concept he's copying or is he so far gone that he's literally copying down to the smallest of details?

Like seriously. You think that's about copying JM?

Or because it worked for JM so he thinks it will work for him? Literally same hairstyle rocking as JM had in Face? Cause why not use a concept that works? Seriously? JK's all "I should do this cause it worked for JM so it will work for me"?

Was that what he was thinking when he rocked a highlight of JM's hair colour over the years? That the colour works for JM so I should have a strand of that colour in my hair as well, copying his success? Is that the theory you're working with?

Or when JK wore the same jacket as JM on Valentines day, you know, in a clip that JM himself records and uploads, that JK also copying JM?

Babe, this isn't just about the concept pics either. And it's not just about Face and Seven or Golden. Wearing the actual same black leather or leather-like pants just because he couldn't find any other pants? That level of copying? Or perhaps it wasn't about copying and more about mirroring.

About "You are me I am you", which they have been screaming at the top of their lungs for years now!!!

It amazes me how you have zero issue in taking an over decade long complex super close relationship (no matter how you perceive it they are super close) and simplifying it into "JK copied JM's concept because JM's concept worked for him", or to even compare whatever went on with JK and JM and those similarities to a claim made (by a disgruntled and caught red handed employee of Hybe) about one new GG copying concepts and whatever from a GG that's been around for 2 years now. No connection between them. No long term relationships between the groups. One group supposedly copying from another. Yeah, definitely the comparison needed to be made between that and Jikook's behaviours or decision making.

Like I already said, go compare 2 GGs in two different companies to 2 men that have been close for over 10 years now. And let's also disregard the long history of those two doing the similar and same outfit (during official shoots, performances etc, or during their free time) thing and look at this one single concept.

Probably styled (funny how the styling seems to be similar for years now on many occasions, and just with the two of them)

I can't help but wonder how different your pov would have been if one of those two young men was a female. Just thought I would throw that in here too.

But I gotta give you an A for persistence. You guys, you never give up, do you? No matter what JK and JM will throw at you, you will find a way to twist it around to fit your narratives. I guess you also think that JM was forced into enlistment with JK, ah? And their trips together and the content that will drop, also forced on him? I guess him saying otherwise isn't enough to convince you guys either, right? I love the way how you guys are so intrenched in your belief of victimhood that you don't even listen to what JM himself tells you. You love him so much that basically call him a liar. Good for yous I guess.

So, to clarify my answer to you, just in case it wasn't as clear as day already...

You do you, cause nothing I tell you, or show you, or you know what? Nothing that even JM himself will tell you or show you will satisfy you. Because you are living in a self built fantasy of what and who JM is and what and who those that surround him are, all to fit that narrative of yours in which he needs you guys as his saviours and knights in shining armour to swoop in and save him from the big bad JK.

One more thing.

JM's Face was a masterpiece.

We all agree on that. JK included.

He adores JM, he's his no. 1 fan and he's been showing us this throughout 2023.

JK is not a person that would callously copy a concept used by a bandmate just because it succeeded for his bandmate and might work for him too.

Let alone from JM.

His person.

Not even if, as you put it, he was told to do so by the powers at be (which yeah, he'd tell to go shove it up their asses if they ever did 'tell' him to do that btw, and they wouldn't do it anyway seeing that they know that would be his exact reaction).

So, no.

That is my answer to you.

Just a whole big fat NOPE.

I'm still here ngl..

Listen, I see this and feel so much happiness. Jimin dancing, showing who he is, showing the versatility of his style and giving us just a glimpse into the extensive, vast range of his talent.

There's been some revisionism happening regarding BTS that's ratcheted up in the last three years or so. I can't be the only person who's noticed it. People more forcefully asserting things about the members that are just plain absurd, like saying this or that member isn't that talented, or that xyz member has this massive character failing that's only just apparent now for some reason, or that things they've said and done aren't actually the case. After FACE, I noticed people saying shit like Jimin can't sing and can't dance...

That reminds me, I went to a cup-sleeve event in June for another group and someone told me to my face Jimin can't dance and I almost uppercut that bitch. It ticked me off but I didn't actually assault her. What I did instead was ask her to explain what she meant, told her I disagreed, and showed her why by playing Jimin's Black Swan solo DP. She took back her initial claim and said she'd just been in a k-pop group online and all those people were saying is how none of the BTS members are that talented especially Jimin who apparently can't sing to save his life and whatever dancing he can do is limited to a few moves from 6 years ago.

Plain insanity.

Jimin, out of the kindness of his sweet, magnanimous heart, is giving the amnesia patients a crash course in who he is. He's reminding people he is Park Jimin of BTS. The dancer who joined a nearly bankrupt agency, had the shortest training period in that agency's history, and with the least resources, and debuted as the main dancer and lead singer of what is now the biggest group in the world. The man who critics from all over the world laud as a virtuoso, in voice, dance, and performance. His voice has brought men to their knees, calmed babies, enchanted concert halls, made stadiums full of people cry out in pure joy. There's nobody alive or dead like Park Jimin, and the fact we all get to exist in the same time as him is a blessing too many people (for my liking) take for granted.

ThisIsJimin is a gift I'm thankful to Jimin for giving us again.

Anyway, I was watching that clip again with a friend and she pointed out how cool the dance practice room was. Noted how it's a massive improvement from the old BigHit halls that had mold growing on the walls and water dripping on live wires in the back. It's taken years, hard work by the members, good business sense from BigHit/HYBE, and a lot of my own hard-earned money as well as the resources (time, money, otherwise) from ARMYs over the years to get to this point - and I just want to say, speaking for myself, even though I still see massive room for improvement, I feel very happy with the state of things.

HYBE is cultivating a solid roster of talent built on BTS's hard work. The world-class facilities in the building is the first good sign, as well as the talent now being fostered there. I love the quality of the army of dancers Jimin had access to for his SMF Pt2 performances, I love that NewJeans is doing so well that Riot Games sought them to feature on their new World's anthem, I love that a whole new generation of incredible groups are growing in the environment created by BTS's own trials and success.

BOYNEXTDOOR is a group that continues to have my attention because all six boys are just that good. They posted their dance practice for Crying today (my favourite song from a rookie group in 2023), and I noticed they did it in a similar dark coloured dance practice room Jimin filmed his #ThisIsJimin choreo in. And that really just put a very silly smile on my face for a reason I can't pinpoint yet.

Maybe it's aftereffects from the Jimin Effect after streaming his reel as hard as I'm streaming Indigo lately.

I see the asks you send, about Golden, JK in general, jokers, this or that thing happening in fandom, and I'll get to them at some point but I don't want to talk about them right now. Because I'm still stuck on Jimin showcasing himself in that air conditioned, world class dance practice room that's only possible because of his hard work, tenacity, talent, and love for his group.

I'm still stuck on Jimin and legit cannot move on. He's such a beast. Such a calculating, proud, stubborn, and kind beast of a man.

I'm not sure what's going on with me.

We're in Jimtober so maybe his juju is just extra strong and I can't escape his grip no matter what I try. Anyway, it's a good idea to stream FACE, allow yourself to re-experience his album, check out his other solos as well (played Christmas Love over the weekend and realized it sounds even better on low frequency speakers), and eat a lot of spicy food followed by warm/hot drinks because Jimin is curious about such things (and it really does work).

Vmin and common goals

Someone just commented on a recent post how VMin may have chosen not to serve because they had different goals towards their MS.

now I don't dispute that at all, everyone in BTS have their own goals and objectives.

we've seen Vmin interact over the years and we are all very well aware that Vmin's friendship has never been predicated on commonality.

In deciding teams, they aren't always going over and beyond to be team mates because they have common grounds- commonality is a Tae Kook thing. It's established fact in the Fandom.

We have spent so many blogs spelling out the uniqueness of each ship in BTS and BTS themselves have by themselves explained what each person means to them over and over again.

For Jungkook, Tae is the one he has common grounds with. So no, I don't expect Vmin to have common goals towards their MS. They are Mars and Jupiter and rarely gravitate towards the same things.

While V wanted to flaunt his shaved head around Jimin was much reserved on that note and who does he turn to? Jk.

The foundation of Vmin's relationship while not built around common interests and goals is built on mutual respect, love and appreciation for who they each are. It's built on the mutual need for support and holding space- safe space emotionally and spiritually for each to replenish, heal and grow together.

On that, Vmin has always, to me being more superior to any other ship in BTS because to me that sort of intimacy between people is priceless.

Having someone you lean on, tell your secrets to, share your vulnerabilities with, be there for you at your lowest point fight for you and defend you is just divine and any one who has this level of intimacy from another human being is truly blessed.

Jikook are that too- is what we are saying. They are that and more.

If you pay close attention to the sort of conversations they say they have- coupled with their need to be both emotionally and physically close to eachother it doesn't take much to figure out that those two are intimate partners too.

You can't hide intimacy I keep saying.

So given as Jikook and Vmin are both intimately close to each other, you should understand why I think Jikook just ended Vmin if physical and emotional support and companionship is the reason they chose to go into MS together.

This is not about common goals. If it were, Tae Kook would have been the ones to serve together. They live for the thrill and adventure. There's a reason there's so many conspiracy and misunderstanding around Tae Kook's friendship with the constant, they said they both wanted this, they both wanted that but someone or big bad hybe is keeping them apart.

Except now it's not hybe, it's his tattoos getting in his way. They say.

It would make so much sense for Tae Kook to serve together too if the whole reason for choosing to be comps hinged on their goals.

Tae talked about his goals for MS in the live and he talked about wanting to build his body and becoming strong physically so he doesn't get shoved around and so he can do lots of concerts. He said he's taking risks with his unit but knows exactly what he is doing.

What are Jungkook's goals too? What is informing his decision to go with Jimin? Why not go with Namjoon then?

We've seen Jungkook hesitate to choose teams where Jimin was in a team which conflicted with his goals. We've seen him cheat to be on teams with Jimin even though he said he didn't want to be on that team. We've seen him say he want one group but end up in a group with Jimin- if a person keeps acting this way isn't his goal Jimin? To be wherever JM is?

Isn't that a sign of severe form of attachment too?

If Vmin's attachment is soulmates what the heck is Jikook's attachment is my question cos those two attachment is very nuanced between them.

If it's all about common goals he knows what he needed to do to achieve those goals and yet here he is. Picking trash at dawn and falling in line.

Jikook is a special kind of love.

And has it occurred to anyone they are each other's companions? Years ago I kept saying idols need companionship to function else they will mentally expire. I screamed at hybe to let Tae have a girlfriend or boyfriend because his need for intimacy wasn't being fully met and that was taking a toll on him.

I said Jikook don't look like they have intimacy issues to me. Out of all the boys, they were the ones most content.

But has it occurred to anyone that perhaps they were content and could be highly functional because they each propped the other up?

TRUE COMPANIONSHIP.

If JM wasn't in JK's life I doubt he could have BTS at all. Which is facts given as he nearly even left the group but for Jimin asking him to stay.

Jimin grounds him when he's up in his idealistic adventurism.

Jimin is there to remind him why he is there. To remind to be subservient and not so rebellious, to comfort him when he's under mental pressure from trying to conform to a life so out of his realm of possibility. He is non conformist at his core and MS is bound to be tough on him.

Listent to the members when they say even Angel Hobi seems tamed.

That place will tame Jungkook and its going to be hard on him.

Jimin is what the doctor ordered.

This is about companionship plain and simple. Let's call a spade a spade and not a big fat spoon.

Do you know Jimin's goals towards serving too????

He doesn't want to gain weight, he can't stand being away for 1.5 years, it's going to drive him mad.

THIS IS JIKOOK CHOOSING THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND SANITY OVER THEIR NEED FOR ADVENTURISM OR WILD EXPERIENCES.

And the fact Jimin is all this for V and he didn't choose this over his desire to chase the thrill tells you just what he values and prioritizes.

He has psyched himself up. He can do this with or without Jimin but for Jikook they need eachother and that more important to them.

Nevermind that, even married couples breakup where their goals and priorities don't aline and they go another way. So no, don't tell me this make or break moment is because they have different goals as if that in itself don't matter.

And sure, since they are just friends we can forgive that. It's not really a big deal honestly. I will ditch yall for pussy too🥲

And yes we have seen Jimin Ditch V over and over for the D- remember when he called V crying and V asked him to come over but turns out he was in JK's room caressing phone screens with him?

If Vmin's goals don't align that's fine, Jikook's aligned perfectly well.

The universe must be pulling strings on their behalf.

They will come out even more closer than before and watch then explain how it's because of their shared experiences in the ditch

Seokjin sat on the couch in Jungkook's apartment as he watched as you played with Bam. He couldn't help but smile to himself. He found it amusing how Bam could basically tower over you if he stood up to play with you. He watched as you laughed and threw the tennis ball back and forth between you, Bam and Jungkook, who had invited everyone over to his apartment a few hours ago. Seokjin also noticed how you kept dropping the ball. You're catch and aim completely off. Yet again, he couldn't help but smile to himself, he thought you were so cute trying to act all athletic even though you had told him many times before that you had horrible hand-eye coordination.

Jin tried to get your attention, but he didn't want to ruin the fun, afraid he might make you mad. So he called out to you, "Y/n, I think Bam can catch the ball better than you", he said laughing. You turned around and playfully stuck out your tongue at him in a mocking tone before surrendering the tennis ball to Bam and moving to sit down next to Jin.

"Like you could do any better", Y/n said, playfully nudging Jin in the shoulder. He scoffed and lightly nudged you back. He could feel the nerves building up inside of him. He had been waiting for the right moment to ask you out for months...maybe now was the right time. He reasoned with himself, Y/n DID stop playing with Bam, who you really love, just to come and sit down next to him and talk. Plus, all of the playful banter between the two of you, maybe now was the time.

Jin cleared his throat and turned to face you. You looked at him, a smile on your face. He took a deep breathe in and started, "So uh, Y/n...what're you doing tomorrow, anything planned?", he would start out casual. He studied Y/n's face as she quickly looked up, mentally scanning her built-in mind calendar.

"Nope", Y/n responded, "Free as can be, why?", Y/n asked. Suddenly, Seokjin panicked, Crap, what if she doesn't want to go out with me, then I've ruined the friendship...He just had to do it

"I uh, I was wondering if...-", but before Jin could finish, Bam came jumping onto the couch, ball in his mouth and tail wagging, ready for another round of fetch.

Y/n immediately shifted her gaze from Jin to Bam and Jin simultaneously felt his heart sink and his nerves settle at the same time. But he had to admit, he was more disappointed than anything. So with a sudden stroke of confidence, Jin grabbed the tennis ball from Bam and threw it on the other side of the room, giving him just enough time to blab out, "Listenmaybeyouwantogo...outwith...me?",

Jin winced and prepared for rejection as Y/n looked at him on shock, but before he could fully look back at Y/n, he felt her lips on his cheek as Y/n whispered, "Of course", as she got up to play with Bam again.

Yoongi

Yoongi, despite his 'cold' (not really but for the sake of his image let's just go with cold hahah), exterior, was quite a softy when it came to you. From the moment he met you he had developed feelings for you. You two would constantly text and facetime late into the early morning and he spent a lot of his free time with you. Though the members teased him for being smitten with you and basically being in an unofficial relationship, Yoongi just couldn't bring himself to confess his feelings for you. He was afraid that the feelings he had for you were one sided and that by confessing he would lose you if you didn't feel the same way. Or worse, the two of you would date and break up, hence ruining the entire relationship and never seeing you again. In a way, Yoongi felt like it was better to just keep things as they were, confusing.

One of your favorite things to do was to spend your free time at Yoongi's apartment, not only to see Yoongi, but also to see Holly. Min Holly loved you and you loved him too.

Not to mention, Yoongi appreciated that when his brother was unavailable to watch Holly, you would readily volunteer when Yoongi had to leave for long periods of time.

But currently, Yoongi was home and you were laying on the carpet, playing with Holly. Well, actually, you were cuddling with Holly and little did you know, Yoongi was sitting on the couch watching you intently.

That's it, he thought to himself, I need to just tell her how I feel.

How could he do any better than you?

To Yoongi, you were everything he ever wanted. Because you met through BigHit, not only did you respect and understand his work, but you also had an appreciation for music. You both got along so well and Holly loved you. And he did too. What more could he want in a partner?

So he started speaking, "Y/n, do you think two people who are friends can go from a friendship to a romance?", he paused as you hummed in response, too focused on rubbing Holly's head to look up. " You know, without ruining a friendship?"

You hummed again, still not looking up at Yoongi. Instead, you let out a giggle as Holly rolled onto his back, expecting a belly rub.

Okay, now Yoongi was getting a little jealous. I mean, Y/n wasn't even listening, here he is on the verge of pouring his heart out and she's more focused on Holly? , he thought to himself.

So he pulled out his commander tactics. He snapped his fingers and Holly immediately lifted his head out of y/n's lap, looking up at Yoongi.

Yoongi gave a little twirl of his finger and there Holly went into the other room. Y/n looked up confused. "Yoongi, what was that for? He was comfortable", Y/n whined, getting up and moving to the couch.

"Listen, Y/n, I have to ask you...because it's been on my mind for awhile and I need your full attention.", he sighed. Yoongi noticed that Y/n looked nervous, he realized his tone of voice was a little too serious.

Alright, enough stalling. Well here goes nothing

"Do you think we'd have any chance as a couple?", Yoongi asked looking down at his feet, too nervous to look you in the eyes.

However that immediately changed when he heard an exasperated yes as you flung yourself onto Yoongi.

"God what took you so long!", Y/n said as Yoongi laughed.

What did take him so long?, he thought.

Hoseok

Hoseok had actually brought you home one weekend to meet Mickey. For as long as the two of you had been friends, you had never met Mickey before. But because Mickey lived with Hobi's family, that meant you would be meeting everyone.

Of course, when the two of you had arrived at Hobi's parents house, Mickey and you had your first introduction. Hoseok watched as you bent down to rub Mickey's head, and you offhandedly expressed how soft he was which made Hoseok smile.

Hoseok led you through the house as he introduced you to his parents who were so kind to you and his sister too. You remember making a mental note of the fact that you could definitely tell where Hoseok got his positive energy from, because his family was just so warm and welcoming.

And they treated you so kind when you were just a friend too, nothing special, right?

Well that's what you thought. What you didn't know was that Hoseok had been wanting to confess his feelings for you for quite some time. He had no intentions of doing it on this trip back home. He was just hoping his family didn't drop any hints as he had blabbed to his sister quite a few times in the past, going on and on about how cool you were and how beautiful you are and blah,blah,blah.

It was actually Jiwoo who had pointed out to Hobi that he most likely had a crush on Y/n. So as everyone settled down in the living room and Y/n settled next to Mickey and began to pet him, Hobi noticed that Mickey looked so relaxed with you and he couldn't help but get excited at the thought of bringing you home with him annually. You had been getting along well with his parents and sister and especially Mickey.

But as he turned to speak to you, he noticed how most of your attention was on Mickey. Though Hoseok did want to talk to you, he felt like Mickey deserved some Y/n love. {A/N; LMAO, I don't know why that line is so funny to me...anyways back to the story}

But by the end of the weekend, the duration of your stay before you and Hoseok went back to your respective jobs, he realized just how preoccupied with Mickey you had been all weekend.

Hobi sat down next to you, asking if your bags were packed and you turned to face him. "Yep", you said smiling. "Hobi, I really have to say, your family was so nice to me, I mean, the way they treated me and especially considering that I'm nothing special too, I really have to thank them before we leave."

Hoseok was touched by your consideration for his family but before you could fully stand up from your seat, he lightly pulled you back to the seat by your arm. "Y/n, actually",Hobi laughed before continuing, "I actually have a bit of a confession. I kind of view you as more than a friend...I want to be with you"

You looked at Hoseok for a minute without saying anything. You studied his face, trying to see if he was joking as the two of you often liked to joke around. But all you could detect from him was...nerves?

"Are you serious? You're not playing with me right", Y/n said, moving closer. Hobi shook his head from side to side, signaling no, he was 100% serious.

"I want to be with you too Hobi, what made you realize?", you asked taking his hands in yours as you faced each other.

"Actually, Mickey made me realize", he laughed as he looked at your confused face. "You were paying so much attention to Mickey and I loved it but at the same time, I wished you had been giving me that attention instead."

You laughed as you leaned into his embrace.

Namjoon

You and Namjoon had been invited over to Jungkook's apartment to have dinner. However, what you didn't know was that Namjoon and Jungkook has set up a ploy to get you and Namjoon in the same room.

You see, Y/n and Namjoon had a lot of chemistry. The thing was, all of it was at work, where there really wasn't anytime for flirting. They never really saw each other outside of the studio. And Namjoon had never really mustered up the courage to ask Y/n out so when he mentioned to Jungkook one time that he thought Y/n was cute, Jungkook immediately wanted to help out his hyung.

So there you were, you and Namjoon sitting across from each other as Jungkook tried to hide his growing smirk. The plan was working out perfectly. The two of you were all fired up, talking about your favorite books and albums, just like in the studio expect instead a of professional environment, it was personal now.

After the three of you had finished eating, Jungkook had 'stepped out' to accept a phone call, leaving the two to you alone, which wasn't a problem as the two of you continued the flirtatious banter. However, when Jungkook has opened up the door to his bedroom to take his 'phone call', Bam had wandered out of the door and right over to you and Namjoon.

Namjoon was in the middle of discussing a TV show you had both recently watched when you suddenly turned away and looked over at Bam with adoring eyes.

"Aww!, Namjoon isn't he adorable?", you said, sliding off of your chair and getting on your knees to pet Bam.

Namjoon stared at the dog, feeling like he just got cock blocked {A/N #2; SORRY I HAD TO PUT THAT IN}

Namjoon got up, excusing himself for a minute. Y/n smiled up at him and then turned her attention back to Bam who was now wagging his tail frantically.

Namjoon stomped down the whole to Jungkook's bedroom where he found Jungkook siting at his desk watching something on his phone.

Jungkook turned to him and asked how it was going, another smirk on his face.

"You better go in the living room and get Bam back in here, she's more interested in him than me at the moment and we had a breakthrough.", Namjoon stated firmly. Jungkook couldn't help but laugh as he got up and walked towards the entrance of the door to his bedroom.

"Bam, come here!", Jungkook called out as Namjoon stood watching with his arms crossed. Bam came running into the room and Namjoon walked out, giving Jungkook a thumbs up before heading back to Y/n.

Finally some alone time, he thought.

Jimin

{Sorry guys, I don't mean to bring astrology into this but it fits the idea I had so roll with it 🥸)

Jimin had actaully met you through Taehyung at his house during a small party Taehyung had been hosting.

Now becuase Jimin is a libra. And one of the things that everyone knows about libra's is that they live to flirt, they also fall fast and hard. So the same night Jimin; known worldwide for being a huge flirt, had met you, he was planning on trying to come up with a way to ask you out .

You two had been talking all night, the only problem was that you kept getting distracted by Yeontan the adorable Pomeranian who also wanted Y/n's full attention.

As the night progressed and Y/n became preoccupied with giving Yeontan treats, Taehyung had pulled Jimin over and jokingly told Jimin that he had competition, pointing to Yeontan.

Jimin facepalmed, finding it hard to believe that he was losing your affections to a DOG.

Jimin shoved Taehyung and made his way back over to you. Sitting back down and trying to pet Yeontan, and obviously trying to get on your radar too. Suddenly an idea came to him.

"Yeontan, it's Uncle Jiminie", Jimin said petting Yeontan on the top of his head. Yeontan looked over at him for a second before looking back at Y/n.

Y/n laughed as she looked up at Jimin, asking him if he wanted to maybe get a drink or something one time, to you know...talking about Yeontan.

Jimin smiled and agreed, somewhat relieved that he didn't have to make the first move after all, and overly ecstatic about the fact that the feelings were mutual.

Taehyung

You and Taehyung had actually gotten close because you not only lived in his building, but actually walked Yeontan for him when he was away busy with his schedule.

You lived a few apartments down from each other, and frequently came home at the same time, so after a few months of faint smiles and glances at each other, Taehyung struck up conversation first. Complimenting your outfit, well, mainly your long coat as it was the middle of winter and you were in as many layers as possible.

You blushed, not expecting him to have said anything at all considering your history of silent exchanges. You muttered a quite thank you in response before turning the key into your lock. Before you could fully open your door though, you felt someone's hand on your shoulder.

You turned around startled but calmed down immediately upon the realization that it was just Taehyung.

He apologized for starling you before he started speaking again, "Listen, I've actually been looking for someone to look after my dog Yeontan for the few times I have to go out of town, but I haven't found anyone I can trust with him. I see you everyday and you're only down the hall, would you be interested in maybe watching him a few times?", he finished asking as he looked down at you committed to getting a yes.

You don't know why you agreed, I mean, you didn't know him THAT well, you were just neighbors, maybe it was his sultry deep voice that lured you in, but you found yourself agreeing.

Taehyung cheered excitedly and asked for your phone number so he could reach you when he needed, and after that day, you two become inseparable.

Tae had really grown to appreciate you and you felt the same way, however, Taehyung had other feelings brewing too.

Taehyung didn't want to admit it but he had developed a bit of a crush on you...

So when he had you over to watch a movie one day, he decided to make his move. However, the one guy that brought them together in the first place seemed to be the one delaying any romance at the current moment.

Yeontan sat nuzzled between Y/n and Taehyung.

Tae tried to slide his arm around your shoulders, but because he wasn't sitting as close to you as he'd have liked, the classic arm over shoulder trick didn't have its desired effect on you since you barely even noticed.

Eventually Taehyng couldn't take it and decided to pretend to throw something in the other direction off the couch and Yeontan bounced off.

Y/n looked at Taehyung confused before looking at Taehyung's arm behind her and noticing the awkward position his arm was in.

"Ohhhhh", Y/n smirked as she scooted closer to Taehyung. "That's why you told Yeontan to scram.", Y/n laughed as Taehyung's face turned bright red.

He didn't think Y/n would catch on so quickly.

Jungkook

Jungkook had met you through BigHit and you quickly became friends. What was funny about your relationship was that Y/n actually liked Jungkook first.

Though they were friends and spent a lot of time together, Y/n was too shy to ever bring up any feelings. Jungkook had a lot of women interested in him and though he never really expressed interest in any of them, he would play along just so he didn't make anyone feel awkward. Of course, Y/n had to pretend like she didn't care even though she knew his 'advances with the women weren't genuine, she still didn't like having to watching it.

What ended up happening was that one day while Jungkook was having a conversation with Namjoon, he ended up spilling the fact that he was looking for a particular partner and as he was describing this person, Joon pointed out that Kook basically described you.

Hence Jk's crush was born. Or shall we say, his crush was unearthed

Sooooo, when Jungkook invited you out for a walk with Bam one day, you two were walking and having fun as the two of you usually do. You happened to be holding Bam's leash, and JK was ready to profess his love for you. He had a whole speech prepared in his head and everything.

But before he could even do that, Bam started running and you, due to holding the leash, was now being sent all over the place as Bam sent Y/n running with him.

Yes, Bam had ruined Jungkook's confession.

So Jungkook, being all sporty, caught up to the two of you easily and took Bam's leash. You laughed as you kneeled over, trying to catch your breathe. Jungkook teased you about your lack of athleticism and you pushed him over. Now the both of you were laughing.

In the midst of all of that, Jungkook just blurted it out. "I like you".

You stopped laughing and stood up straight, giving him a confused look. "What?", you asked. Y/n was nervous, what'd he mean that he likes me?

"I uh, like you, like, uh, like,like you, y- you know", Jungkook's eyes were darting back and forth from you and Bam who was staring up at his owner adoringly.

Man, if only dogs could talk, cuz this is awkward, Jungkook thought to himself.

"Well, I um, like,like,you", Y/n said looking down.

"Good", he said.

"Yep", Y/n said as they continued walking.

Kook couldn't wait to tell Namjoon. He was in love.

korean side defending min heejin and there is a big hate train on bang pd not that i care about that i need both to go down..but thing is even if bangpd is not bh's ceo anymore he'll always be closely tied to bts from the public's eyes compared to any group under hybe so there is high chances this whole thing will end up with k-netizens animosity towards bts and the situation into a new jeans vs bts situation because k-netizens can be dumb. So if namjoon flops on kcharts (which will happen regardless of all of this and even of new jeans releasing or not) while new jeans will top the kcharts, i'm afraid there will be some kind of narrative built on that and used to attack bangpd. But ultimately i think none of this is serious cause knetizens are fickle anyway will move on soon mhj will get fired whether with or without new jeans.

I don't really care about this thing anymore, I'll be honest. At least not right now, but I am waiting to see how it ends.

BTS is also now getting dragged all over Twitter because of her when they are completely innocent of the whole thing, so let me also remind you guys that no one in the kpop community excludes Jimin when they talk about BTS. Also none of these people care if Jimin was also sabotaged by bang pd or not, these are the same people who have been harassing him for years too so yes, min heejin can go to hell. So y'all can quote those tweets all day long trying to get kpop stans to see that bang pd was also terrible to him, the truth is they don't care. Now the hate and focus has been transferred from bang pd on to BTS. If y'all can't even see that barely anyone's talking about bang pd and min heejin anymore and they're now talking about BTS then I don't know what to tell you.

The people screaming about "misogyny" can suck it btw. Y'all never cared about misogyny when it's time to drag and shade groups like blackpink but suddenly everyone cares when it's some greedy old lady, idgaf. And mind you they're only dick riding her because "new jeans music and concept", not because they care about misogyny.

Not to be an army, but I've stanned BTS long enough to know that she's going to get what's coming to her eventually, doesn't even matter if she gets away with this.

Hiii, miss me?

Now you want to kiss me (or have to? Wasn't there a song like that?)

This month my blog turned two years old. I got the notification in my email. Last year I made an entire celebration post by publishing the funniest/ridiculous asks I got. There were good times back then. Still. Not so much afterwards.

I wasn't the nicest presence in the last few months leading to me abandoning the blog. And I wasn't too discreet about it. Although there was more to it, a lot more. But I'll get there.

First things first. Why am I here when on the 24th of March I dramatically declared that I'm leaving forever? Well, that was a very emotionally-charged post and the result of a few factors. I'm not entirely proud of how I made my exit, but it's also a true reflection of my personality so there's no point in making excuses. Nevertheless, I will explain as much as I can (I still care about privacy, just like before).

On that Friday, I woke up excited. I took a day off from work (yes...I know), I listened to Face, watched the music video. All good. But I was also dreading a bit having to come here because I knew there was this expectation of me to come up with some thought-provoking analysis, say something smart and all that. I was exhausted on all levels, emotionally and intellectually. I had also promised to leave after the promotions were over, somewhere in the middle of April (who would have thought it would last 9 days? Not me), but the plans changed. Not to drag it too much, but on that day I also officially announced to some concerned parties that I'm changing career paths. You know, just something I thought I'd be doing until the day I die and I've been working towards for at least 10 years. No big deal. I was planning on doing it anyway, but actually saying the words and make it real is a different story. I felt extatic, full of adrenaline, so happy with my decision and at that moment, it felt the right time to close BMT. It was somehow directly connected. I made the blog as an escape and now I got the opportunity to turn the page over. It was perfect. Best day ever. I clicked post, I logged out, and then I sat. And after a while, the reality of my decisions hit me in the face. And I felt sad and empty because what the hell am I doing now and what is my identity? I closed my blog too which was my main hobby. And so followed some difficult days. And then it got better. And then bad again. And so on, because it's a roller coaster.

The thing is, I can change my interests, but I can't stop myself from being opinionated. And getting excited. And wanting to talk about it. And share all that on a public platform with some strangers that are interested in what I have to say. Or they used to. It's who I am.

This blog won't remain Bangtan Media Thoughts because I want more than that. I will rebrand this page. I could start fresh with a new blog, but this is still my space and I know some people were interested in reading about other things as well from me, not just BTS. I hope I can built something from that.

The blog won't reflect only a specific niche of interests, but everything that I like in terms of pop culture. From movies, music, fashion, gossip, you name it. Including Kpop. And if I feel the need to rant about Hybe after talking about Ryan Gosling's Ken, I will. Same about JM, JK or whoever I feel like it. If there is a good advice that I got in the last few months, is to adapt and not force myself to abandon something completely. Because it's not as easy as it sounds. And to be honest, it was easier to give up smoking than completely lose interest in kpop. It's a habit. Perhaps this new blog will reflect the way I try to deal with that. A bit more honestly, a little less discourse, certainly less essays because I don't have them in me at the moment. But never say never. This blog will be all me, not just BMT.

I will change the name and url 24h after I post this. This will be an opportunity for all my followers to decide if they want to stay or they are not interested in the new direction. Feel free to do as you please. I welcome new people and greet the old ones who didn't hit unfollow for some reason.

It will go like this:

New theme, new profile photo, new beginnings.

All the old posts will still be here. I don't plan on deleting anything. They are all a product of me and my brain and they have their place. I'll probably pin some new posts these days that have to do with the rebranding. It will be like a construction site, but it will be worth it.

One last thing though. After I abruptly left, I received some DMs. I saw them back then. I do feel sorry about those who wanted to check in with me or with whom I used to talk regularly. But I do hope that some of the things I said today will explain my behavior. I also won't start communicating again like that, at least for now. I always felt a bit pressured and I'm not the best at maintaining conversations in private. If that changes, I'll make that clear.

That's it for now. I'm excited. I feel like writing again so here's to another chapter.

If JK stans hate on Jimin because he's direct competition to him, do Jimin stans hate on JK for the same reason?

I like to think that any bitterness I have against JK is because he received all the resources and support that FACE did not. But then, I can admit (anonymously, so really not that brave) that I've always found his voice and musical taste rather bland.

Funny that their fandoms are arch rivals while they're off doing their buddy thing in the army. What a fantastic kdrama this would make.

No, cause we know how he gets his numbers. Jk without aid would probably do similar to jimin. (Although jimin’s pulling numbers similar to some of jk’s singles with 0 label aid so jimin with the same amount of resources would be formidable) But even if jk still did better without it. I’d have no issue cause at least the playing fields are leveled.

The reason I’m irritated at jk is not inherently because of the resources he received rather him abandoning bts’ values as artists. After years of making it seem that he stood with everything they spoke on in regards to doing things the right way, he went against everything for an easy ride. His entire career is a farce built on the backs of the other members especially jimin because he’s who they’re screwing over to make him look better and he has no qualms about it. That is why I have an issue with him. So although my main grudge is with hybe for the lack of equality between the group, I still look at jk in a bad light because he went along with everything.

He’s just the antithesis of everything I’ve come to admire about jimin and bts back then (basic voice and non existent artistry included) so I just don’t vibe with him like that. Also Jimin and jk being friends doesn’t move me. Like I can respect jimin’s relationship with him, but it’s still not gonna do away with my feelings surrounding everything else or how I veiw jk at the end of the day.

You quickly throw on your comfiest hoodie, threadbare and fraying at the seams, and you make your way over to the Hybe building. You also stop at a convenience store on the way, grabbing a canned coffee for each of you because you're a good partner like that.

By the time you get to the door of the studio, though, what little confidence you'd built up for yourself starts to fizzle out, replaced by the anxiety simmering on low just beneath your skin. The confusing feelings are still sloshing around inside your chest, so much so that you think about knocking even though you haven't knocked in months — not since Seungcheol started texting you the code of whatever studio he was working in at the time.

Groaning to yourself, you smack the edge of your phone against your forehead a few times before quickly punching in the code and opening the door before you can talk yourself out of it.

Seungcheol is slouched comically in the chair, head so low it's practically leaning against the armrest as his socked feet rest propped up on any empty corner of the desk. The computer's wireless keyboard is cradled against his chest and stomach, keys down, and he's using its smooth back as a makeshift mousepad. ...To play Solitaire of all things, you realize.

You stand there, just blinking for a moment as you process the image in front of you. He looks so stupid and cute and you can't help the grin that pushes against your cheeks.

"Cheol," you giggle. "What the fuck."

"Shhhhhhhh..." Seungcheol's eyes don't leave the monitor. "Don't question the process."

You snort as you finally close the door and walk over to set his canned coffee on the desk, on the opposite side his feet are propped up.

"What process?" You stand over him, folding your arms across your chest as you try to keep a straight face. Raising an eyebrow at his posture, you ask, "The one where you turn into a slouchy slug?"

"Hey!" Seungcheol swings the keyboard into your hip like he's trying to chop down a tree, making you double over even as you start giggling. "I am not a slug, how dare you!"

You just laugh louder and playfully shove his chair away from the desk. He yelps in surprise as his feet suddenly fall to the floor and he nearly topples over, and then he turns the full force of his pout upon you.

"I can't believe my very own partner is trying to kill me," he laments. "What did I do to deserve such betrayal? Did Jeonghan put you up to this?"

"Aww, poor aegi," you coo. You walk over to him and squish his cheeks between your palms so that his lips pucker out comically. "My poor little guppy wuppy."

His dark brows furrow harder and you let out an oof when he jabs you in the stomach with the wireless keyboard he'd managed to hang onto in the chaos, letting go of his face. It wasn't hard enough to hurt (never is) and you just stick your tongue out at him in retaliation.

He rolls his eyes and points to the couch. "Go have a seat, traitor."

You acquiesce with a soft snort, burying yourself in the corner while Seungcheol tidies up the studio. You pull one of the throw pillows into your lap and very quickly end up hugging it tightly to your chest.

For a few blissful moments, you'd forgotten about all of the confused, anxious things swimming around inside of you — forgotten the main reason you'd come here in the first place.

You must zone out, because the next thing you know, Seungcheol is squatting in front of you and trying to catch your eye, one hand gently squeezing your knee. "Hey, Y/n-ah. You doing okay over here? Want me to take you home?"

His eyes are wide and earnest, worry lightly furrowing his brow, and you will never cease to be grateful for how much he embodies unconditional care and comfort.

Shaking your head, you reach out to clasp the hand on your knee. "No, 'm fine." You tug on his hand, a silent request to come sit next to you. "Just wanna talk to you, if that's okay."

"Of course it's okay," he promises. "Always."

When he sits, he leaves a sliver of space between the two of you, leaving it up to you to decide how much (if any) physical comfort you want right now. That simple, little act of thoughtfulness is like the glimpse of a lighthouse amidst the storm that's brewing within your ribcage, and it gives you the courage you need to hoist your metaphorical sails and let the wind take you where you need to go.

You waste no time in anchoring yourself to Seungcheol's side, throwing your legs over his lap and burying your face into his collarbone.

"Hey, jagiya, hey, you're okay," he soothes automatically. His hands come up to wrap around you, pulling you close and rubbing soothing arcs up and down your back. "You're okay. I'm here to listen, yeah? I'm here."

He doesn't say anything else after that, just settles a bit more into the couch and waits for you to speak, always so full of patience when it counts.

It does take a while for you to say anything, mostly because you don't really know where to start. There's still so much swirling around inside you, murky and confusing, that you're not really sure if there is a start.

And a part of you wonders if it's even worth opening up your mouth at this point — the same part of you that's always walked hand-in-hand with your shame and doubt.

But Seungcheol's breathing is a steady rise and fall against your chaotic thoughts, his heartbeat a siren song reminding you that he has always held your hopes and dreams and fears and questions oh so carefully in the palms of his hands.

Eventually, you realize that it doesn't really matter where you start as long as you jump in. So jump you do. "Cheol?"

"Hmm?"

"Do— do you remember when I came out to you and the rest of the group as ace?"

" 'Course I do," he assures warmly, giving you a small squeeze. "Still so proud of you."

You hum happily. But your anxiety is making you feel fidgety again, so you pull one of Seungcheol's arms down into your lap so you can play with his long, sturdy fingers. He lets you do it without complaint, and something within you settles.

You let yourself breathe in, breathe out.

"After you guys," you start, bending and unbending his fingers one by one, "the first person I ever came out to was my mom, you know? And it's— it wasn't that she wasn't supportive. Or like, I think she was trying to be supportive, at least, but." You take a breath. "Do you wanna know what the first words out of her mouth were, after I told her that I was ace?"

Seungcheol hums an encouragement, pulling you impossibly closer with the one arm he still has wrapped around your back. You take another breath, uncurling all of his fingers and holding the spread-out digits in both hands, almost like you're going to try and read his palm.

You breathe in, breathe out. "She said— without any hesitation, she said, 'Oh, is it because of your trauma?'"

You feel the way Seungcheol tenses beneath you, watch the way his fingers twitch between yours like he's trying not to curl them into a fist.

"And I didn't know how to respond to that," you continue, keeping your eyes down, "so I just said 'I don't know, probably.'" You give the same little helpless shrug you'd given then, small and defeated, and you use the motion to hunch your shoulders a little more.

"Y/n-ah. That's..." Seungcheol starts, voice a little rough around the edges like he's trying to keep some big emotion from breaking through. "I can't imagine what that must've felt like."

And you know, you know, that he's filling in the blanks. That he's taking the words 'trauma' and 'asexuality' and drawing conclusions that probably aren't too far from the truth.

You grip his hand tightly between yours and tuck it against your chest like a child clings to a favorite stuffed animal; he presses a gentle kiss to the crown of your head. You both breathe — in, out.

"Yeah. It didn't— it didn't feel great," you admit, an understatement. "And she's not the only one, either. Every single family member I've come out to, every single one of them— that question has always been the first thing to come out of their mouth."

The faces of those family members flash before you, all carrying the same expression — pity, one etched so deep it felt (feels) almost condescending. "Is it because of your trauma?" "Is it because of what happened to you? Did he make you like this?"

"And I just..." You flail the hand not clutching Seungcheol's, searching for a way to put into words what you've been feeling for so, so long. "I have this knowledge living inside me at all times that, to the family members that I'm out to— they'll never see my asexuality as something to celebrate. All they will ever see is my trauma and how this part of myself is something that comes from a broken place."

You think about the tweet from earlier, the hundreds of others you've seen like it, and feel tears begin to gather.

Sniffling, you continue. "And then I'll go on the internet and see all kinds of ace pride and posts about how we're valid and don't need to be fixed and... and I know that. Logically, I know that my ace-ness isn't something that needs to be changed, isn't something that could change, even if I wanted it to, but..."

But.

For so, so long, you have had no idea how to finish that sentence. And it feels like some kind of defeat when you realize you still don't have an answer. "...I don't know," you shrug, helplessly.

Seungcheol presses another kiss to the top of your head, staying silent like he knows you still have more to say. He keeps a steady rhythm of slowly rubbing his free hand up and down your back, a tactile metronome for you to follow.

After a few minutes, you continue with a sigh. "About once a year, I'll talk with my aunt, and she never fails to ask if I'm "still ace" and... I just..." You cut yourself off with a frustrated groan.

"S'okay, aegi," Seungcheol whispers, squeezing the hand you're still holding close to your chest.

"Sometimes it feels like my ace-ness is tainted, you know?"

Even as the sentence feels punched out of you, it's such a bitter relief to finally admit it out loud. Because even though you've never really let yourself put it into words, you are finally able to recognize that this is one of the murky feelings that has been weighing you down — collecting in your subconscious like debris in the gutter. "And it's why bringing up my past can be so difficult for me. Because I'm so scared that people will go from just accepting my asexuality to thinking 'Ah, that explains it.' Like I just gave them the missing piece to a puzzle or something, when before it was just a part of who I am.

"And there's also a part of me that feels like... I don't know, that I'd just be adding fuel to the fire for all the people who like to shit on asexuality. That I'm just an example of why people who think they're ace are just traumatized and need therapy. But... I think I would have always been ace, no matter what happened or didn't happen to me as a kid. And I just...

"I don't know, Cheol," you croak, the tears you've been trying so hard to keep in finally starting to cascade down your cheeks. "I don't know how to feel anymore. I don't know where to fit. If I fit. If it even matters whether I fit or not."

And really, now that you've talked it out a bit, it essentially boils down to one thing.

"I guess— I guess what I'm saying is that I just want to be able to feel like I can be ace and a little bit broken at the same time. That I can be a work in progress and still something... worth celebrating."

You tuck your free hand into the sleeve of your hoodie and use it to wipe away the tears that are still falling. Seungcheol's next exhale shudders a little bit out of his chest, and then he's letting go of your hand so he can cradle your jaw and tenderly wipe at the tears himself.

"Hey, jagiya, will you look at me, please? Will you let me look at you?"

You nod, the lump in your throat having doubled in size between one moment and the next, and he gently lifts your chin until you're eye-to-eye.

"There you are," he murmurs, with a sad lopsided smile. You notice he has tear tracks of his own, and looking into his big, glassy eyes aches and soothes in equal measure. "I'm going to tell you something very important, so I need you to listen carefully, okay? Can you do that for me?"

Again, you nod, swallowing thickly.

Seungcheol's expression quickly melts into something serious. Not something scary, but something solid — a firm foundation for you to rely on.

"Y/n L/n. You will always, always be something worth celebrating. Being a work in progress is a part of life, and you and I and everyone else on this planet will be one until the day we die. I may not know all the answers, and we might never find the ones we're looking for, but if I know anything, it's this: not a day has gone by since getting to know you that I am not so, so incredibly proud of you — of the person that you are and that you are continuously becoming. More than I can really put into words."

You think you could drown in all of the love and support and affection pouring out of Seuncheol, overwhelming you in the best way. It's like your heart has capsized and all of the ooey-gooey feelings are flooding in, pulling you down deeper, deeper, deeper still.

But you've hit your emotional threshold for the day and decide to cut the moment the best way you know how. "Even when I'm an annoying little shit?" you choke out past your now-stuffed nose.

Seungcheol laughs wetly and wraps his arms around you again, tilting you both over so you're both mostly lying down on the couch. "I think maybe especially then," he murmurs, mostly to himself. Louder, he says, "I think we've earned ourselves a nice nap, what do you think?"

You think that sounds heavenly, and you both adjust your positions until you're comfortable and you can feel sleep pulling at your consciousness. Before you let it claim you, though, you take a few moments to breathe.

It feels a bit easier than before, the breathing. The stuff sloshing around inside your lungs doesn't feel as murky as it did before, doesn't feel as suffocating now that you've been able to bale some of it out. You don't have any more answers than you did before, but you have a bit more peace.

And as you finally drift off to Seungcheol's quiet, snuffling snores, you think that having a bit more peace might be enough for now.
