Does Jerry get softer over time? She’s stand offish but we get those moments of softness, when she settles down with her darling and they both trust each other will she be soft or still only fleeting moments?
She doesn't get softer in theory, but you learn how to take her behavior and analyze it. Her cockiness is a part of her personality. it's not disappearing anytime soon. However, if you match her energy she will be much more comfortable. You might even be on the same level with her instead of being her property.
Example:
"I ought to give that son of a bitch a real pounding", Jerry mutters with her arms crossed over her chest.
"You should wipe the floor with his hair", you reply. "Use it like a real good mop."
She scoffs out a laugh. "I should, shouldn't I?"
"If you don't, I will."
You're about to leave, but she grabs your shoulder, forcing you back.

"I'll be fine." She taps your nods at the man. "If you take his glass, I'll put in the sleeping pills. Let's go, baby. I'm right behind you."

the days are long and nights are even longer when alhaitham is not here.
it's not like he's being sent on expedition to the furthest corner on teyvat, per se, but it feels just as lonely to you, if not more. his title as (Acting™) grand sage, as he always likes to correct you, seems to be eating up more of his time and energy than the day before. the yellowed parchment that posted his office hours is long forgotten as people stream in and out of his office nonstop, that he thinks it might be easier to just remove the entire door altogether rather than having someone knock on it every three seconds.
and he feels guilty, he does. before he met you, his office hours served as a warning against disturbing his solitude. he much preferred spending his time somewhere secluded, reading a good book and away from prying eyes. but ever since you entered his life, you had become the sole reason behind the click of the lock at exactly 5pm. he prefers to read his books in your presence instead, his tall frame somehow nestled perfectly into your disproportionately smaller one on the sofa, your steady breathing a calming reminder that you're here, with him.
you don't blame him for being away, but you miss him, dearly.
you miss the telltale footsteps out the door at the same time everyday, followed by open arms and sweet kisses the moment he enters the home. more than once kaveh's blueprints have been carelessly swept to the floor as you're lifted onto the counter, lips never leaving each other's as alhaitham mutters "i love you"s into your skin, completely unbothered by his roommate's angry protests of I WAS WORKING ON THAT when he storms in a few hours later.
now kaveh's blueprints sit neatly on the table - well, as neatly as an architect can put it, stacked underneath a half-finished model of popsicle sticks and rubber bands. the kitchen no longer smells of delicious sabz meat stew, and you find yourself starting to miss the small signs that another person is in fact living within these walls.
hell, you're even missing picking up his littered books and scolding him on not putting things back in their place.
as if on cue, your phone lights up and buzzes against the wooden table. you set down your teacup and glance at the screen, eyes immediately lighting up at the familiar name.
the sun has long set and at this point, you've started getting used to empty beds and empty homes. you weren't expecting him to text, or even come home tonight, for that matter, but part of you still selfishly hopes that today will be the day he can leave his work behind and be with you instead.
the excitement quickly dies down as you scan the words.
i might have to stay a little longer tonight again. i'm sorry, my love.
frowning slightly, your fingers dance across the screen in response to him.
you take care of yourself too, haitham.
you sigh and lay your phone face-down on the table, the adventures in your new novel long forgotten as you savour the memory of the last time you were with him.
how long has it been now?
it feels as if he became sumeru's hero overnight, and his already heavy workload somehow tripled after that. what a way to celebrate a saviour, you think bitterly.
and you know he's doing this for the akademiya, for sumeru, for the archon you all adore. you can't blame him, but maybe you can allow yourself the right to miss him.
your phone buzzes again, and the light in your eyes reignite.

ive been having the biggest little leclerc and ollie brain rot all weekend (especially today for some reason) due to ollie’s baku takeover so

Can I get Ango ask game answers… he’s my silly rn and I wanna see what other people say!!! (And maybe I want some inspiration for fics)

Hmm, I don't know a lot about Ango ngl, but my base headcanons are: Hard of hearing, has vision problems, chronic migraines and pain, sensory processing disorder (possible undiagnosed autism) and he's possibly a cane user. But I don't have any concrete headcanons.
Edit: For a man with 'no concrete headcanons' I wrote a LOT lmao
🌻 - Do they do anything that helps manage their disability? (Ie medication, hot and/or cold patches, set sleeping times, ect)
I think he relies heavily on pain medication to keep the pain in check. Baths are also big for him with pain so uses those bath salts and soaks in baths to help with muscle aches and pains.
With vision he obviously has glasses, he can read Tenji (Japanese Braille). Although he does have some vision, he struggles to read small text, often using his phone and/or computers text to speech function.
With hearing he uses a hearing aid and Oda has learned JSL to help communicate with him, Dazai has as well (he's teaching other members of the PM and later the ADA how to use it as well.
Stim toys are something he also uses but due to pain he finds certian stim toys (such as tangles and fidget cubes) hard to use. Because of this he uses things like scraps of fabric, weighted crochet balls, and smooth stones to hold.
☔️ - What does a 'bad day' look like for them? How do they cope?
Bad pain day can mean that Ango can't leave the bed, all his muscles ache and he has really bad brain fog because of these symptoms. Someone (usually Oda) has to carry him to the bath and help him bathe (he does not miss a daily bath. Ever.)
Bad hearing and sight days mean that he needs more assistance than usual, he hates this because he feels weak, but usually those around him can pick up on the bad days.
Bad sensory day with Ango don't happen frequently. Usually he's understimulated, so it takes a Lot to get him to sensory overload. However when he does, he has a shut down and sometimes it gets so bad that he can't move from what Oda calls his 'nest' (which is basically a cocoon of clean blankets he wraps around himself) because the idea of touching any other material or surface makes him physically ill.
💤 - How would/will they cope with their disability worsening?
Hm this is an interesting question.
I do think that the condition causing Ango's vision problems probably will get worse until he is blind, and that does scare him. Personally we don't deal with this but I imagine it is a very scary and ever present thought for him. Although Oda does try his best and is a good listener, sometimes he can't relate to Ango's struggles and may say the wrong things.
With hearing, again I'm unsure what condition he has that impacts this so I'm unsure what getting worse would mean for him. If he looses his hearing entirely it would again be a very scary and ever present thought and I feel like it would make him sad.
Pain worsening? More pain medication, but probably reduced mobility. I think Ango is an independent man and struggles with the idea of needing to rely on someone to look after him.
For these I don't think he copes well. He keeps his worries inside and they only come out on his bad days, usually messily. He sobs, clinging onto whoever is close to him and then pushes them away one the post break down clarity kicks in.
Obviously people try and get close to him (especially Dazai and Oda) but Dazai is 15 and has no filter so has upset Ango with some of his comments (Oda has lectured him and he's apologised). But regardless Ango pushes them away because he doesn't want to be a burden.

headcanon questions / accepting!
🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?
detailed answer will be its own post eventually this post is long enough. non-detailed answer is yes she has tattoos and she will happily get more, both for meaningful and for just wanted a new one reasons.
💤 SLEEPING SIGN — is your oc a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? how are their sleeping habits?
she's a fairly heavy sleeper most of the time, but not so much that it's hard to wake her up. enough that she can sleep through someone talking at a regular volume next to her, but not enough to sleep through an alarm or someone purposefully trying to wake her, for example. she might resist waking up and try to fall back asleep, but she'll be awake.
she sleeps a lot, though. post-dying, she has a lot of fatigue issues (she presumes from the fact that she isn't entirely alive anymore, so existing in general takes a bit more effort), and gets exhausted much easier and sometimes very suddenly, particularly after very high-energy events. for someone who performs for a living (and is pretty energetic onstage), this means she's usually going to crash pretty hard after a show, give or take the handful of really good days she has a month. she can stay up if needed (and usually will force herself too, in order to attend various events and parties), and caffeine does help, but she needs quite a bit more rest now than she used to. it's not uncommon for her to take little naps while travelling, and she consumes a lot more coffee than she used to.

🐶 DOG FACE — does your oc have any pets?
she had a dog growing up — or rather, her grandma had a dog, but pretty much her entire childhood was spent either at her grandma's house or being visited by her grandma, so she thinks it still counts. she was a very sweet and very old miniature schnauzer named tabby (short for tabbouleh, her grandma's favourite salad) and mina loved her so much. she passed not soon after her grandmother did, but mina and her family took her in for those few months in between.
when she gets older, as much as she'd love to have a pet (and really should have an emotional support animal, honestly), she gets really anxious over the thought of having to travel an animal around with all the touring and travelling she does as a performer. she thinks it would be really unfair for the poor thing to be dragged around so much, and it stops her in her tracks from any real decision-making for a really long time.
paris will eventually manage to convince her though (even if it takes a lot of begging) and she loves their sweet havanese puppy, three time grammy award winner fiona apple farris harrow (apple or fiona for short!), with her whole heart <3 and she loves her adopted son jackrabbit, too, of course.
💔 BROKEN HEART — what are three of your oc's negative traits?
she is so stubborn. oh my god she is so stubborn. she has a very strong independent streak and is very stubborn which very often leads to her doing things by herself that she absolutely should be accepting help for, for better or for worse.
she is also very secretive and has a lot of walls up, especially after the whole dying thing, and really struggles to be vulnerable, even when she wants to be. it started as a way of protecting herself, but she's gotten so used to it that she finds it difficult to be open and vulnerable even with people she feels safe around, which really frustrates her. often the only time she is is through her music, or with a lot of coaxing, and even then it's usually like pulling teeth. she's trying to get better at it.
(those two can and often will tie together into some very messy situations of being too stubborn to ask for help and not wanting to tell anyone she need help in the first place, too, leaving her to struggle by herself when she really shouldn't have to.)
and honestly. she can kind of just be a bitch sometimes! a lot of it is usually in her head with a smile on her face, or she'll complain with friends later rather than to people's faces, but she is not nearly as sweet as she portrays herself to be. she has been getting steadily worse at keeping it in her head the longer she's in the industry, too. kind of becomes harder to stay nice when half the people you meet are trying to use you in some way shape or form.
🍝 SPAGHETTI — what is/are your oc's favorite food(s)?
this is going to be a very long answer for a very simple question — mina has a very complicated relationship with food. she had a lot of issues growing up as a teenager with food and her body, and while she does manage to work through this during her early/mid twenties and start getting back to healthy relationship with food, her appetite all but disappears after she dies, and it kind of throws her back into a really weird spot. she does still need food, but she doesn't really register that she does, and regularly forgets to eat/doesn't finish her food when she remembers to. it's not even that she dislikes food (if you're eating with her, she will absolutely be stealing food from your plate. it's one of her love languages <3), she just literally forgets to think about it a lot of the time.
all this to say. she doesn't really have one. when asked what she wants to eat or if she's out eating with someone, she'll ask them what they suggest or like, and then get that. saves her the work of having to think about it, and she gets to find out what they like — it's a win win for her.
😊 SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES — what are your oc's career/general life desires? what do they want to get the most out of life?
there's the obvious: she wants to be successful with her music. partially to prove she can, but also because she really can't imagine herself doing anything else. it's such a massive part of her and she can't picture doing anything but dedicating her life to creating and sharing her music. if a music career hadn't panned out, she probably would have tried to go into composition or ghostwriting for other musicians. she just really can't see herself anywhere but in music, and she wouldn't have let her life pan out without it being a major part in some way.
when it comes to general life desires, she just wants to be happy. she really wants to be loved and love back, both romantically and platonically. which, yeah, that's what most people want, but she hasn't had the best luck with it so far! it's something she doesn't quite believe will happen for her anymore, but she still really craves it.
(she would also perhaps like to know what the fuck happened to her and what the fuck is wrong with her, but she's pretty sure that's never going to happen, so she's kind of given up on it.)

Sunday Funday Update!
And what a week it's been...
🦇 In the past week, chapter 4 of TTBW got not one, not two, not three, but four rounds of edits before it was OFFICIALLY POSTED! If you need to catch up on this fic, you can find the latest chapter here. I promise it's worth it.
💤 For now, TTBW will be taking a little bit of a break. This is not a hiatus, and the fic will return in full force for the final three chapters very shortly!
💕 Starting now, my focus is entirely on creating for Poly+ ACOTAR week! I have 7 ideas, and today I got them all set up in their own documents and ready to go. Will I be able to produce 7 fics when I have two tests, six doctors appointments, and extra classes between now and then? UNCLEAR. But the goal is set!
🔎 My focus is going to be on producing quality content without putting too much pressure on myself. So even though I love writing 10K+ oneshots and chapters, I'm going to try (try being the operative word) and write a few drabbles and some longer oneshots. I'm putting this out to you, dear reader, so I hold myself accountable.
I hope you've all had a lovely week, and I'm excited to share more with you in this final month countdown to the event!

Eye: What color are their eyes and do they have mystical properties?
Funny you asked this the day I change his eye color! I've thought about this for a bit, but they're deep dark brown with a red highlight! Kind of inversed to his official art. I did this because I thought it would be cute to make the rivals eyes kind of match the legend they "follow" in game. (Biancas are blue now by this logic even if i adore her green ones)
and yeah. ive never stated it outright anywhere on here? But Cheren's pupils; and pupils specifically, are white/glowing. It's dull, but weird enough to make you look a few extra seconds, be it in day or night.

Crying: What makes them cry? Do they cry easy?
SIGH. Lobanov used to be a huge crybaby and still sort of is? It's just not as emotional to him.
Sometimes he'll walk by the portraits his mom has of him when he was younger and they spill out real hard. Stuff relating to his younger self in general just cuts into him wayyy too easily. he wants to see what everyone misses so badly but he physically cant. and it rips him up inside until he says "fuck it" and stops thinking about it. this is also why he lives in his own house in aspertia
Sleeping: Do they fall asleep easy? What helps them sleep?
He falls asleep easy, but staying asleep is really hard. prone to nightmares. Hennessy (his Cyclizar) helps by laying all over him, she kinda acts like a blanket on a blanket. :]
Baby Bottle: What are their thoughts on children?
He adores them. They kind of influence his entire worldview because he cares about them so much? He treats children with more respect than some of his colleagues. [COUGH GRIMSLEY COUGH ELESA]. idk. if i had an askblog about him and you asked this he would NOT shut up.
Shaved Ice: Do they still have any objects from their childhood?
I FINALLY remembered some.
I've rewritten this entry four times but.
would say a blanket his extended family made for him and a mightyena fur, cold resistant jacket his dad wore before him. :]

❤️ - what are your favorite kind of RenTan stories? (Canon, Rengoku lives, modern… etc)
definitely, Rengoku Lives stories since it's just the default. It's so fun to fiddle with it. Maybe it's because of the time period or the fact that it's directly from gtg's ideas, it just hits harder. But I've been really liking stories where one or both of them are mystical beings, whether it's the konpon au, dragon tan, fox scholar kyou~ I can't choose, they're all so gooood
🥵 - what are your thoughts about their rank difference? Did you want Tanjiro to study under Kyojuro?
I think their rank difference is interesting because they're both unconventional. Tanjirou doesn't really care about his rank, he uses his breathing technique almost pragmatically, while Kyoujurou has always been destined to be a hashira. Yet, after that, we don't know what he wanted. It was never explained even in vol 0 or the fanbook, and it might be intentional since gtg also had been using the supporting characters pragmatically, but I also love how it adds to the angst factor.
Imagine living your life not really looking forward to the other side of The Death of Muzan when your whole family, your entire life has been designed and curated to defeat Muzan. He's Sisyphus, if Sisyphus is happy.
So what I like about a Rengoku Lives spin is Tanjirou being by his side, not necessarily being the sole reason for him to live by becoming his tsuguko (since getting a tsuguko is the second closest thing we get to his life goa) just like how Tan becomes his living proof in the canon (symbolized by the passing tsuba) but by being his soulmate.
I've written both where Tanjirou becomes his ideal tsuguko (becomes a tsuguko until the end of the story and even learns a bit of flame breathing because he has a talent for adapting different breathings) but I've also written when he stops becoming one (tho this hasn't been uploaded yet I think) because they find their power imbalance a hindrance to their relationship.
In the end, these are just labels to them and I feel in any scenario, if Tanjirou gets to see Kyoujurou the next day, he'll use every excuse to see him. (this made me remember I have an unfinished fic where Kyou teaches Tan how to sumo wrestle post-mugen train)

I honestly don't know~ maybe one of the reasons I'm die-hard for rntn out of all of my ships is because I tolerate most headcanon lmfao even the darkest or dead dovey... idk. I wrote and made some questionable stuff myself so usually, if there's an au or trope I can't get behind, it's just how the author/artist executes it and if I have the energy, I'll try it with my own version. I get to make something I like and rntn gets more content
Like for example, I think Kyoujurou is not as experienced as Tanjirou just because he's older. There's barely anything he accomplished romantically or sexually around those five years gap. He's as young and awkward as Tan. But I can see why people would think that. He's adored by so many people. But so was Tanjirou and I feel, if Tanjirou becomes a charcoal burner for a bit longer, it could be the other way around since Kyoujurou is a bit intimidating.
Hey, maybe he learned everything just from three volumes of shunga and erotic novels!
💤 - what are your feelings about Enmu? Was he an effective villain in the story? Do you like him in AUs?
he's so funny, I don't think I can hate him. He's probably the funniest character gtg has ever made aside from zenino so yes he's very effective!! Overall, Mugen Train is very well made and every character serves their purpose very well. I admittedly have never read a fic with him as a relevant supporting character and I barely used him in my fics but if I ever want to write something comedic, I would love to add him.
