The reflection of memories
I've been thinking about this
Hakubo's boundary has water, but the place where Sumire is does not.
And like Hanako said, it could be a reflection of the owner's memories.
And it really was.
Isn't it interesting that the place where Tsukasa is often has no water? I imagine this place is the school, because of the blackboard on the wall.

What does a traditional family/House dynamic look like, especially in terms of children?
[Does the whole House live in one large building, or is the House more of a common family space? Are children usually cared for by their parents, or is child minding more of a communal responsibility along the lines of "it takes a village to raise a child"? Etc.] < please treat these questions as additional questions like the ones on a school test that the teacher puts in to make sure that the student understands the original big question. I only included them so you could know what I meant when I say "House/family dynamic", because I know that can be confusing

What does a traditional family/House dynamic look like?
Houses are both residences and familial hubs containing a lot of related Gallifreyans. Here's what the dynamic typically looks like, especially when it comes to raising children:
🏠 Brief House Overview
First, a bit of context - Gallifreyan Houses are huge, often sentient structures. They're designed to support entire extended families, often containing multiple generations.
Interior Design: Houses often have high ceilings, large rooms, and sprawling corridors. This setup is on purpose - designed to make newly loomed Gallifreyans feel like children (many loomlings are created with fully-grown adult bodies).
Living Spaces: Houses contain individual bedrooms, communal living spaces, and operational facilities such as the Loomshed. They also have their own crypts for dead House members.
Animated Features: The Houses often have animated furniture, which, if not properly trained, might chase people around. Paintings whisper at passing cousins, and Druges, large automated humanoid servants, roam the premises, performing various duties.
👨👩👦👦 Family Dynamics
Gallifreyan families tend to be large and very hierarchical, with cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives living under the same roof. There's a strong thread of communal responsibility and shared upbringing when it comes to childrene (childe = singular, childrene = plural):
Childcare: Childrene are typically cared for by a combination of their parents and other relatives. Parents are present and will look after their child, performing the usual trips out to the galactic zoo or whatever.
Education: The responsibility for education and upbringing is communal, with older House members playing a significant role in brainbuffing (the educational process designed to shape young Gallifreyan minds). This is supported by the help of Avatroids - mechanical beings who were (basically) enslaved by the Time Lords. The boy Doctor had his own personal Avatroid named Badger, whose job it was to protect and educate him.
Communal Responsibilities: Given the House's size and structure, childcare is often a collective effort. The extended family takes part in guiding the children's education and development, with the aim of instilling a sense of duty and obedience ie. House values.
🧒 Children and Brainbuffing
As mentioned, childrene undergo brainbuffing, a rigorous educational process that equips them with a ton of knowledge before they step out into the big wide world. This process involves both formal schooling and informal training at home.
Early Education: During the first eight years, childrene are educated in writing, culture, mathematics, and science, surpassing the knowledge level of many human college students. Extended family members play a significant role in this process.
Traditional Activities: Despite the emphasis on duty, childrene can happily engage in activities like lushberrying and playing with onion dolls. However, there are no playgrounds on Gallifrey due to the focus on obedience.
Communal Upbringing: The entire House contributes to the upbringing, fostering a strong sense of community and collective responsibility.
🔥Then Comes Life
At the age of eight, children are snatched away from all of this and put into Chapter Academies away from their Houses and families for around 200 years. Bummer.
🏫 So ...
Gallifreyan Houses blend family living with communal responsibilities. They focus on fostering a sense of duty and service, with a significant emphasis on education and discipline. While parents play a crucial role in raising childrene, the communal approach ensures that every child has a network of support and guidance throughout their early years, which is then completely turned on its head.

I don’t think i’ve ever related to a quote more…since 13 i’ve realized how cruel people can be. So called “friends” say hurtful things. I realize these people i used to trust with my life don’t care about me. I realize i’m being left out. I realize no one cares about my feelings but rather about their image. 🌸 Springhaven’s Year 1 Spring Summary 🌸

Lifespans were messed with a bit! Since I don't have any lifespan-related mods, I decided to give adults 2 uses of elixir of life.
The founding gen got 1 as adults and will get their 2nd dose as elders.
Only those that were close to aging got their elixir doses prior to round 6. (This is why Joy's still an adult!)
Starting with round 6, all adults will receive their elixir of life doses as soon as possible.
This is just to make sure that people aren't passing too quickly - parents shouldn't be dying when their kids have barely become adults! I'll adjust as needed depending on how things goes with the 2 uses. I may switch to 1 adult, 1 elder use if 2 feels like too long for adults.

We have goals in life for things that we want to attain. Psychologist play this 🎮 and know that we are trying to do these self-care things for ourselves. That it is also a billion dollar business. So they do what they can to stop it. They relate it to the woman because it has feminine motherly characteristics. These men in power only see you as hoes and slots. They don't respect you or your opinion. I hate going to the doctor 🏥💊 gaslighting. Red flags. Medical.
We need medical and they know it. So there aren't very many choices. I have spa day so my sims have a wellness plan to prevent them from even going to the hospital. Delivering at home 🏠 is the safest thing you can do. You can have a midwife. They scare you into going to the 🏥 people are afraid to be arrested for not going to 🏫 school. We go to work to pay the rent that they continue to increase. They can increase the rent but not our paycheck. Indians aka the blue ones are the reasons we are in the situation we're in. I feel like I live in Africa 🌍 or Bangladesh. It's overcrowded and these are piss poor practices.

In light of my North Node post dropping on my website (and here) i want to share some tips that helps me
⏰🐷✈️ Please check your North Node Persona chart.
🐶🏠 Now it might be in a completely different sign which matters a lot. The sign can show you how your NN is perceived by others. This matters in the way you are being seen by the public and how you also need to embody the parts of that sign as well.
🐶🏠 If its in a different house, check that too. The house could show ways in which you can more easily access your NN. It also might show the place(s) in which you can have the most growth/find people that help your NN.
🐶🏠 Check the degree of the Persona NN because chances are its drastically different. That change can show the key aspects of life that spark your NN.
⏰💍For example: You have a 22° for your Natal North Node in Libra 3rd house. Yet your persona chart has it as 8° in 10th house Virgo. As you can already tell those show up in very different ways.
First you have the difference in degrees. With the Natal being in the 22° you may try to act more stern and Saturnian in order to access your NN, while it would be easier if you embodied more Scorpio traits instead (8°). Instead of down time being dedicated work (career), it could be better used as time for self reflection.
Next you have the sign difference. While a Libra NN would be more focused on relationships with others as well as being unbiased, a Virgo would be more focused on how to help those they interact with on the whim and sharing their opinions. (This isn't to say Libra don't have one, we do... Trust me) Beauty in terms of aesthetics related to what's popular wouldn't be easy to achieve until one acknowledges their fear of criticism.
Lastly the whole ass house difference. Now talking about (Libra and Saturnian) things in relation to your NN might be the first thought one has. While that's true communication is the main focus of the Third house and what you need to do. We can't forget the importance of siblings/cousins and how much they impact your NN as well. You also might've met a lot of people who pushed you in that direction when you were in elementary (primary) school.... That direction being how the general public sees you as well as how you develop into an adult. Because of the 10th house being the place of the Persona Node, your focus needs to include not just siblings/cousins + your early life experiences with school and communication but how you put yourself into the world as an adult and the career you choose.

Interview with Bren Joy
We had the pleasure of interviewing Bren Joy on the phone!

The revelry of 2019's Twenties introduced Bren Joy as a raw and indispensable singer, songwriter, lyricist, and pianist leading the new wave of R&B. On the eight-track EP, which has amassed over 5.7 million streams on Spotify, the 23-year-old fused elements of jazz, hip-hop, pop, and gospel with experimental soul music while delving into the complexities of early adulthood. From the allure of intimacy and connectivity to processing racial injustices and asserting his will to succeed, Bren offers an emotional, relatable, and groovy sojourn into his journey of self-discovery and maturation.
But harnessing the grit needed to sing uninhibited lyrics didn't always come swiftly for the Nashville native. It wasn't until he started covering songs like The 1975's "If I Believe You," on which they questioned their faith, in high school that he began to find his voice. "Figuring sexuality out, my religion, my friends, what I want to do in life, those are all things that I didn't talk about," says Bren. "But covering a song like this wasn't jarring. It was a coping mechanism; my way of getting it out." It was around this time that Bren asked himself what he wanted to do with his life. "I knew I'd find myself being creative," he says, adding that when he started singing, he knew he'd found his calling. "It felt like I'd been struck by lightning," he remembers.
While attending Belmont University studying music, Bren started dissecting the sound of gospel and R&B, the intricacies of which inspired him to begin creating his songs. "I'm big on musicality," he says. "I love crazy piano parts and unique chord structures and progressions." These have all made their way into his sound. Not only influenced by artists like Freddie Jackson, John Legend, and Kirk Franklin, who he listened to growing up, Bren also developed a love for alternative music while in college.
Experimenting with the genre "allowed me to incorporate R&B differently and reimagine it," says Bren. "That's what Twenties is all about. It's youthful, euphoric, and reimagines the mainstream. I want to be that guy whose music doesn't cater to one specific group." It's a goal he's already conquering. In October, Bren opened for rapper Megan Thee Stallion, and he rang in the new year performing ahead of Keith Urban at the "Jack Daniel's Music City Midnight" show.
Each song on Twenties should be experienced live. The EP's title track, inspired by Bren's need to find ways to "fall in love with being black and being an oddball," is a jazzy bop that follows the clap-worthy aspirational single "Henny in the Hamptons," which landed in Vulture's 2019 Best New Music list and was deemed "the song you play so often on repeat, you begin to embody Joy's silky, sweet, positive energy." Even the affecting "When Martin Died," a snippet from an interview Bren did with his grandmother about the day Martin Luther King Jr. was killed would inevitably flourish center stage.
Designing the artwork for Twenties was a collaborative effort with Bren’s network of friends and like-minded creatives including artist Chase Denton, and producer Caleb Lee. The artwork features headshots of Bren and others arranged to resemble a page in a high school yearbook, led Bren to tap into his DIY spirit after he found inspiration in vintage yearbook pages he discovered on the side of the road in Nashville. "Then I saw a Brady Bunch ad, and I was like, 'Okay, it's a sign. Let's run with it. I photographed the models, styled them, and edited the cover after teaching myself how to use Photoshop for about eight hours. Once I put my mind on something, I'm not going to stop until I have it, and that's gotten me very far."
While Twenties was all about Bren discovering and challenging himself with new scenes, people, and love interests, the new songs he's writing are about basking in the joy of these discoveries. "It is a brighter version of me," he declares of what he's creating next. "I want people to gather a sense of inspiration."
