Something Emma would like to change her mind about is her mother. Even if her dad has explained to her multiple times that her mother wasn't happy with him and that she had her right to leave, Emma feels that she atleast should've tried at least having a little presence in her life.

Emma understands that she has to keep quiet, like when she's in class or in a meeting with a teacher. But she would rather fill the silence, even if the conversation ends up feeling one-sided.
