[Robbie Shapiro x F!Reader]

A/N: Hi! This fic is inspired by the gif above :) I've only seen a handfull robbie fanfics and I am still completely in love with that man so I wanted to write one myself :) oh and english isn't my first language! so sorry if some words are weird lol

Summary: Robbie finally confessing his feelings for the girl he's been in love with for the past months.

Warnings: None, just extreme fluff.

It was the big night, the cow-wow dance was tonight and Y/n was pretty excited. It was her first schoolevent at Hollywood Arts.

"Earth to Y/n?" Jade said as they walked towards the school. In the 5 months that y/n attended HA Jade became her closest friend. Sure, she can be bit mean but for some reason she took y/n under her wing and since then they kinda became inseperable.

"Sorry, I'm just kinda nervous I guess?" Y/n said as she fixed the bowties in her ponytails.

"Nervous? for what? Sinjin in a hula?" Jade snickered

"No- no, not that." Y/n chuckled. "Even tho it is something I should avoid." She said.

"For what are u nervous then?" Jade asked once again. They finally arrived at the school and everything was very well decorated.

"I- eh-" Y/n stuttered but before she could finish her sentence, someone yelled her name.

"Y/n! Y/n!" She heard a familliar voice yell. She turned around and locked eyes with the cute curly haired boy. She smiled, but her smile faded quickly as she saw that he was with an unfamiliar face. Jade saw her smile fade.

"Ur finally here!" He said as he approched her.

"Yea, uh- we had some stuff we still had to fix-" She said but he interupted her.

"This is Gabriela, my date!" He said proudly and smiled. Gabriela looked up and gave Y/n and Jade a small smile.

"Hey" She said, a bit cold.

Y/n gave a weak smile and looked back at Jade, who was just staring with an angry look on her face.

Robbie didn't really knew what was going on as he looked at the girls confused.

"Well.. Okay, Im going to get something to drink for Gabriela, u guys want something?" He asked a bit hesitant.

"Yea s-" Y/n said but was interupted by Jade.

"We can get it ourselves." She said annoyed. Robbie shrugged and took Gabriela's arm as he wandered off with her. As they walked off Beck arrived, sneaking an arm around Jade's waist.

"Hey you guys, what just happend?" He asked as he took a sip of his drink.

"Robbie happend." Jade said annoyed as she took the drink from becks hand and took a sip herself.

"It's fine Jade, Really.." Y/n said a bit sad.

"No, it's not okay." Jade said and looked at Beck.

"We got work to do." Jade said and Beck just nodded.

"No, Jade, please. It's fi-" Y/n tried to say, but before she could finish her sentence Jade and Beck were already on their way. Y/n sighed as she walked towards the drink booth and took a cup of whatever. The first big event at her new school and it was already a shitshow.

"Hey y/n/n." She heard from behind her. She looked around and saw Andre and Tori walking up to her.

"Hey guys." Y/n said a bit devistated.

"What's wrong?" Andre asked a bit worried.

"I don't really know, I'm feeling all these things that I didn't knew existed until now." Y/n said as she took a sip of her drink.

"U wanna talk about it?" Tori offered.

"Not really, sorry." Y/n said and gave a weak smile. "Thanks tho." She added.

"It's no problem." Andre said as he looked at the time.

"Shit, we have to go on in like 10 minutes-" Andre said worried and Tori looked up.

"Sorry y/n, we gotta prepare for the show. But after that, we're going to hang and make the best out of tonight. Okay?" Tori said and y/n nodded.

"Thanks guys" Y/n said a bit happier and hugged them both.

"Imma cheer u guys on the whole show, u know that right?" Y/n chuckled and they nodded.

"You better!" Andre said as they walked away. Y/n was alone, again. Jade and beck were nowhere to be found, Robbie was probably dancing with that girl of his and cat? Cat was also nowhere to be found. Y/n decided to sit on one of the picnic tables in the corner of the parkinglot, still sipping her drink. Everyone was having fun time, why couldn't she?

In the meantime Robbie was being harassed by Jade.

"What did u do, shapiro?" Jade asked angrily as she grabbed the collar of his button-up.

"I don't know! What did I do?" Robbie asked confused, looking pannicked back at Beck.

"I have no clue my friend, but u better fix it now." Beck said, trying not to intervine with what going on.

"Jade- please. Tell me what I did wrong so I can f-fix it, please?" Robbie asked and Jade loosend her grip.

"You hurted Y/n, stop playing dumb." She said annoyed as she let him go.

"How- You know I would never ever hurt her on purpose!" He said, still a bit panicked.

"Did I hurt her..?" He added, now a bit worried.

"Are you fucking blind?" She basically screamed.

"I mean, kinda? I have pretty strong gla-" Robbie said but got interupted by Jade.

"She likes you!" Jade said while facepalming. Robbie's eyes wident.

"She didn't even have to tell me and I already knew by the way she acts around you. How can you be so incredibly dumb?" Jade added and sighed.

"Where is she?" Robbie asked in a hurry.

"I don't know, probably around here somewh-" Jade couldn't even finish her sentence or Robbie was already gone. Jade looked at Beck who was still just standing there.

"Let's get something to drink-" Jade said.

"Yea, good idea." Beck added as they walked away.

Y/n was still sitting on top of the picnic table, listening to the music. Her feet were dangeling off the side.

"There you are-" She heard a familiar voice say.

"Oh, hey Robs." She said without looking up.

Robbie sat down next to her and gave her a cup with something to drink. She took the drink from his hands and looked up.

"Thanks-" She said but looked confused.

"Where is ur date?" She added and looked confused. Robbie chuckled.

"I don't know, haven't seen her all night." He said as he placed down his drink next to him.

"I have a small feeling that we gotta talk" He said as he turned his head towards her. Y/n felt her cheeks heat up a bit.

"Okay- I don't know what Jade told u-" She started and looked down again but he interupted her.

"Look, Y/n," He paused for a second. The look on his face gave away that he was struggeling to find the right words. Y/n got a bit anxious, because most of the times when people are looking for the right words it's not positive.

"Can I tell you a secret?" He finally said and smiled a bit.

'Sure" Y/n said, still looking at the ground.

Robbie got close to her ear, as if he wanted to whisper something but instead he stopped, slowly raised his hand and slowly turned her head with his finger and gave her a soft, sweet kiss. She was taken a bit back at first. Butterflies exploded in her stomach as she melted away in the kiss. Robbie then pulled away, not breaking eye contact.

"Now I still don't know your secret-" Y/n said to break the silence. They both chuckled.

"I've liked you since the moment i've met you, y/n." He said softly which grew a huge smile on Y/n face.

"Well, good to know. Because I like you too, Shapiro." Y/n said and Robbie smiled.

"That's good, because it would've been weird if I kissed you and you didn't." He said and the both laughed for a bit. Robbie took y/n hand and sat closer to her. Y/n looked up again, stealing a quick kiss from him.

"Couldn't resist, sorry." She said and they both chuckled again.

"You can steal all the kisses you want from now on, no need to worry." He said and smiled. Y/n leaned her head on his shoulder.

How do you imagine Team Distasters / Tori's first meeting with the Akatsuki to go in the reborn AU? Aside from spiderman pointing one another and Deidara und Tori casually talking to Sasori during a mission? Will Minato get freaked out when Team Disaster treats the Ame? Ambassadors (Nagato/Konan) like old friends?

i don't really have this planned out, but..... whatever is funniest??

sasori bumps into them on the obligatory "C-rank goes wrong" mission. sasori being there is somehow NOT involved in whatever made the whole thing go to shit. but sasori doesn't actually have a problem fighting them if they get in his way, except. wait. itachi AND deidara? no one in their right mind would purposefully engage both of them at once. oh look they're arguing. maybe if he takes tori hostage he can finesse the situation-- oh that did not work as planned. what the fuck. why does anyone try kidnapping tori this is always, universally a bad idea. everyone forgot the original mission went to complete shit in the first place because kushina kills like fifteen missing-nin off screen and fixes it. the rest of the mission goes smoothly but sasori is just like. there. confused out of his mind

idk how they bump into hidan but i think tori deserves to go "oh, hidan's in the area? excuse me" and then she goes and murders him, seemingly entirely unprovoked. kushina makes her sit down for Girl Talk, because what the fuck. he DOES get better though, which somehow makes the whole situation worse?

my original thought for kisame was that they do their little chunin exam mission in kiri (but maybe not because i ALREADY did this in homemade dynamite). kisame is proctor so he just looks at the team and is like. god. why. he pats kushina on the shoulder like: you're a brave woman, stronger than any i've ever known. good fucking luck with that. kushina doesn't know what he means bc as far as she knows they've never met before and also her team is a dream how dare you imply otherwise?? itachi invites him to tea. kushina does her best to explain her team is a wonderful group of young people while kisame stares into his tea and wonders if maybe everyone from konoha is just insane. no wonder deidara and tori ended up there

idk my Concept for akatsuki is that it's pitched by nagato and konan as a peacekeeping group meant to keep the bigger elemental nations in check, so their ranks are open to more people than just missing-nin. so i was toying with the idea of tsunade ending up there ? anyway team disaster has to run a weird af mission where they have to go pick intel up from tsunade but she owes kakuzu money and has been dealing with that by continuously punting him into the sunset whenever he tries to collect. itachi attempts to fix the situation with illusionary money and makes everything worse. tori kills hidan again

anyway at some point akatsuki offers to allow other shinobi villages to send representatives to them and nagato and konan are like "why don't you just send the disaster team" and minato is like "?? weird revenge plot for each member killing that hidan guy at least once?" and they're like lol no everyone does that. that's basically an initiating ritual. and minato is just staring at the stack of complaints he has against team disaster on his desk from like every single konoha department and like 47 different civilians and he's like. but are you S U R E you want them. and the answer is yes, obviously

We have a good sense of Henrietta's music tastes based on what she says, the posters she has in her room, and the music she puts on while driving her mother's car. My girl Henri is trad goth; she likes Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy. In her speaking debut, she tells us she's been forbidden from going to a Skinny Puppy concert but I think industrial's a little more Firkle's bag and she'll just go see whatever. Also tbh we never hear of this heroin addict aunt again so she's either trying to impress or they retooled her character lol

Her fakeout guilty pleasure music is shoegaze of the caliber of Cocteau Twins and Jesus and Mary Chain. Her real guilty pleasure music is piano lady music but she will never admit to her deep abiding love for Tori Amos after she let slip she enjoys Kate Bush—the most respectable of piano ladies!—and Michael still makes fun of her for it to this day. Douchebagggg

Pete: Pete strikes me as a bit of a sap (affectionate). Like Henrietta, he enjoys classic goth with his faves being the Smiths, the Cure, Joy Divison, Depeche Mode. God, he probably has a crush on both Henrietta and Michael and listens to Bizarre Love Triangle and cries

I'm gonna say his guilty pleasure is just regular new wave/80s pop rock, maybe similar tastes to what I see cool gay Bradley being into like Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, omg Peter Gabriel. He's a wreck I love him

My homie challanged me with Yuma in Character ask game. The ultimate ADHD child

My first impression of them -That he was one weird looking boi even by yu-gi-oh standarts. Not to mention, at first he gave me strong “lol randumb” energy

When I think I truly started to like them -Through the seson progression the antics and very lively attitude kinda got to me. Plus I do dig characters with positive attitude and being a bit... dim XD

How many people I ship them with -Canon: Astral, Mist... sometimes Shark -OC... Machi >u>

My favorite ship of them -I like Keyshipping, but I’m weak for Tentacle\lockship even if I can never make it healthy :v I like keyshipping because it feels like had the most development and it feels like these worked out their relationship from hating each other to sacrificing their faces for each other Lockship... How do you think they were as a kid? (Like, were they shy, noisy, wild, etc) -I believe he was norm, up until certain point. He would like something, loose interest, get sad, get happy, but then... The key happened (when his dad gave it to him) and he decided to exclude “giving up” out of his vocabulary

The most random ship you've seen people have with them -You can’t surprise me. He was shipped with everyone under the sun

A weird headcanon -Yuma can cook pretty good, he’s just lazy

When do you think they were at their happiest? -I feel like when he reunited with Astral.

When do you think they were at their lowest? -Uh yes, 3 episodes of depression when Astral died

Future headcanon -He will become a Duel champion, but then quit, because of constantly changing meta and the fact that you can’t play your favorite deck forever. Power creeping and exploits would be just an end of fun

What do you think is a secret they have that they never told anyone? -That in the beggning he felt lonely, even with friends around (But then Astral canceled his personal space and Me time)

When do you think they acted the most ooc -Yuma is a wild-child. Whatever he does can be explained with “He felt that way” cause that’s how he operates. He just feels that he had to do it... das it solid logic

When do you think they were being "themselves" the most? -When he was trying to save vector from Don Thousand. Cause he clings to his friends like a gum to hair

If they could meet a character from another show/movie/etc, who would be the most fun for them to meet? -I’ll be boring here and say Yusei

The most unnecessary thing they ever did? -Trusting Vector. I know Yuma trust people like Tokonoske, but with Victor it felt bit much, but that’s my perspective

How do you think they would be as a parent? (and if they are a parent, how do you think they would be if they weren't?) -Probably would try mimicking his dad

i have been creating a lot of stuff and im nearly done with my online science course and should be done by the end of this week!

the other week was eid and ur girlie made sweets, dressed up, visited a friend, and made Mario Lego B) I also got stickers for my laptop but that's unrelated lol

also we made bakhlawa and makrout they are literally my favorites lol, even the people at my friends party seemed to really like them too lol

apparently I look really good in olive green so that's like also a major win for me

the stickers are like vintage looking florals ones lol

btw I've been working so much on my four swords DND au, I'm not sure what to call It tho? I was thinking like "Four Keys" because the swords are literally keys to a secret realm or whatever

btw have u had any good recipes recently? Im fasting just because I can and rn I'm just thinking about food lol

i made a fajita tonight using colored peppers too lol

if u have any good recipes please tell me I love hoarding them

btw, I have one character left with enough space for an additional trauma/mental issue on my roster for the au so honestly just send me a few different ideas for them and I'll probably choose one lol

I'm glad you got to enjoy some nice food, time with friends, and dressing up! Also, it sounds like you're having a ton of fun creating recently! I am as well, but it's slow going as I'm working on a multi-chap that's very demanding about where and what is supposed to happen (I did this to myself but the results are fantastic!)

"Four Keys" sounds like it has great potential as a title! I like it! I also love the Russian accent. the character is giving slight Captain America vibes, but only for backstory, and I love the concept so much!

As for a irrational fear..... ma am I bad at those I rationalize anything so... maybe large empty spaces? Usually those are indicative of a boss fight in his mind, so just having one that isn't hiding some threat throws him way off. He's also insanely wary of any room with a tiled floor. Because >:)

I also love him and Wind! The fact that they're both on the younger side here but also both accustomed to being the person others look to gives great opportunities for them to bond and interact. Legend has a lot of experience to share but he's also not up on a pedestal like Time or Warriors is, so there's more opportunity for direct communication and less a need to impress. (I actually just finished writing something with them, as it happens!)

I'm honestly not the best baker in the world, or cook in general (I'm still building up my recipe book after leaving my parent's house) but I can share my mum's bread recipe! It's very good, for every day, or to make into rolls for the holidays and with nice meals!

Recipe makes 4 large loaves btw

Dissolve 2 packages of dried yeast into 4 cups of warm water.

In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup soft butter with 1/2 cup of honey (you can also add 1/4 cup of molasses for super dense rolls/loaves).

Once the honey-butter is combined, add the yeast water to the bowl

Scoop in 6 cups of whole wheat flour + 4 cups white flour.

Mix, knead, and set into greased bread-pans, or roll into balls on a cookie sheet.

Bake loaves for 35-40 min at 375 F, or rolls for 10-15 min at the same.

After you remove it from the oven, brush generously with butter before they cool, for extra flavor and to preserve moistness.

Hope this one makes you happy! It's great to use in sandwiches, serve with soup, or eat with jam, or alone!

3. hear me out: lando. now this is nothing against sharl or george, i just feel like lando is more versatile. he wants to get better, seeing what makes you tick, what gets you off, it drives him. the first few times with him are probs fine, but when that boy learns your body? lord have mercy.

4. it’s a tie! george and sharl (i can’t pick, and also i think they’re kinda similar)

george fucks. he fucks. i just know it. do not be fooled by the cookie cutter tory facade. he fuuuucks. the way i write george is genuinely how i think he could be, maybe not straight away, but once he gets comfortable with you, or he knows you want more from your sex life, he’s right on it.

sharl is a mystery to me. i flit between him being a sex god (very similar to the way i write him/george) and him being a selfish lover icl. i think he could actually be a bit of both. i think you’d have to be really direct with what you want from sharl, but when it’s good and he gets it right, it’s the best you’ve ever had, hands down. i also think he’s a massive switch, and the way he’s feeling plays a massive role in how he does in bed.

Anywayy time to tell u more about Kiiko Suou :) any pronouns but mostly uses he/they also made by me

First of all they're a producer!! Though deep inside he do want to be an idol it's just huuum let's say he doesn't think the best of himself and they think it's better for them to not "be in the spotlight" and be a "support role instead" but that ties with his backstory that I'll explain now

(*cough* and they created an illegal unit with other fanchildren anyway *cough*)

So!! Kiiko being the next Suou heir has well a lot of expectations put on them by the family ever since...he was born, honestly

But they mostly inherited of Sora eccentricity, energy, and even some of his speaking pattern + the synesthesia. Kiiko is way closer to Sora anyway and despite caring about his child a lot Tsukasa doesn't spend much time with them since he's VERY busy with looots of stuff (Family business + becoming new Pres of NewDi + being leader of Knights + protecting Kohaku's daughter from the Oukawa dirty work bad Kasa putting ur niece before ur own son)

Anywayy but hum the angst part (there always is one) of Kiiko's backstory is the Suous. Weren't very accepting of him. He acted way too energetically to their liking and it didn't help Kiiko actually have some sort of intrusive thoughts...so basically they would think and say very inappropriate things and give crazy and dangerous ideas without realizing (for example..uh well the illegal unit idea came from Kiiko and the others went along with it lol. Guess I'll try to elaborate on this unit later on huh)

Also didn't help that Tsukasa actually had a daughter with Tori beforehand (i also ship Torikasa) and well since it's Tori taking care of her now (Torikasa didn't last in this au sadly but it's fine theres Sorakasa) she's supposed to be the Himemiyas heir now but the Suous also want her to be their heir bc they consider her way more fitting for the role. And so they often compare Yui (Torikasa kid) and Kiiko like "you should take example on her and act more disciplined" and similar stuff

(and the synesthesia just made all of the Suous disappointment impact on Kiiko even worse,,)

SOO conclusion Kiiko thinks it would be bad for him to be an idol bc he'll be too much in the spotlight and will Very Probably mess up bc of their intrusive thoughts so they just choose to be a supporting role, aka producer (...and still messed up anyway but its fine Kiiko we luv u anyway)

And Kiiko suggested the illegal unit idea out of good will, too :) bc basically i have another fanchild, a MadaAnzu one (or whatever the ship name is), Yumeto, who's also a producer, but also dreams to be an idol. and he tried, he really did, he took the entry exam two times...but failed both times. So he just became a producer instead bc its the closest he can get to his dream

So ofc Kiiko and Yumeto become very close as both producers (*cough* they're a ship *cough*) and Yumeto end up venting to Kiiko about his dreams being crushed, and that's when Kiiko is like "Then just perform illegally! :D"

Yumeto ended up accepting and convincing Kiiko to perform illegally with him, except that their roommate, Setsuko (made by my friend, she's an Izuleo kid), kind of heard them on accident...and uh long story short she joins the illegal unit!

By illegal unit i mean that they're not registered on paper and just. Invade stages. To perform. Illegally (ofc they're disguised when they do)

My thoughts about this trailer/teaser/whatever:

-SAM LOOKED PRETTY AS FUCK (I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her, she just looked awesome and so confident 😭)

-Tory seems like she wants blood in her hands this season and now I’m 100% her only chance to see the truth is Robby.

-Miguel looks so healthy and so good😭 I hope he remains strong the whole season, I can’t wait to see him fight with Mijagi Do and Eagle Fang methods.

-I don’t really care about Hawk lol, but he looks really angry.

-Demitri is still a cinnamon roll, but now this sweetheart can kick ass.

-Robby looks AMAZING with the black gi, but he is just so….angry😭 You can see the anger in his posture itself and it just breaks my heart because he is dealing with a lot of crap and now he is surrounded by so many bad people.

-This Tournament is going to destroy me.

-Im surprised there were not scenes between Johnny and Miguel.

-I riot for a scene between Sam and Johnny.

-Did I mention that I want Robby and Tory to be happy and have friends and go to therapy? Cause I do.

-Miguel and Daniel training just makes me think about a scene where Robby sees them and just loses all his hope in Daniel.

-Sam is going to play a really important role this season AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IT COULD BE. They focused A LOT on her, more than with the other kids. I really can’t imagine her winning the tournament, I don’t think the “good guys” will win this, but I haven’t found another answer.

-Why is Johnny breaking that thing.

-That scene where Tory is in top of Robby: I bet my soul she will stop before throwing the last blow and that’s the moment she will realize she likes him. Why? Because the writers are cheesy as fuck with this things.

-My bet is Robby or Sam will win.

-We need a fight between Robby and Sam. They loved each other a lot once, as friends and partners. They deserve a moment to reflect that in a fight (it would be really beatiful) and we should add the fact because their relationship wasn’t like Tory’s and Miguel’s, it was much more deeper.

-I want a scene were Sam tries this fight method she did with Robby (the one in the water that was like a circle between them) and her failing to do it with another person. Robby and her shared a friendship and balance together, the writers should stop dismissing that.

-I NEED AMANDA TO APPEAR AT LEAST EVERY TWO SCENES.

(and yeah we could talk about Paul Jenkins’ decision to have him use that particular word seeing as how John’s a queer man with queer friends and sure sometimes we call each other dyke and fag etc and it’s ok because we’re talking to friends we love and trust but the First is not?? John’s friend???? even tho their relationship has evolved a LOT by issue #100 and i would argue that John IS the closest thing First has to a friend at this point but I doubt John sees it that way and also First is queercoded constantly and I’m not always sure how intentional it is and also there’s another issue where John calls First’s overall appearance as ‘homoerotic’ and i’d like to think there’s more going on than the writers falling back on lazy cishet tropes but I’m just not sure)

WHATEVER. John tells him to strip.

AND HE DOES.

and actually i’m fine with First using that word because First is uhh the devil and evil and also he exists to piss off John and he knows racist shit pisses John off a lot, and also First tends to adopt the persona of a gross Tory nob whenever John’s around, again, because John has a particular bug up his ass about gross Tory nobs, so I’m ok with that, and i LOVE that First straight up stole his latest evil scheme from Dante because he’s that basic and lacking in creativity

ALSO can he talk about how he FLINGS his clothes away and does an Escher Girl pose, goddamn that is the skimpiest loincloth he’s ever worn and i’m living

anyway this story takes place shortly after First returned to Hell after being stuck in a human’s body for a while, and btw when he came back to told John how horrible and heartbreaking he’d found being a human and offered to make John into something more (because of course he did, John is special, John is the only person who’s made him interested in his work in millennia HE LITERALLY SAYS THAT MULTIPLE TIMES so of course he’d be horrified to realize how frail and powerless humans actually are and decide that John should be MORE, John’s his nemesis and it’s just WRONG that someone as unique as John should be stuck in a wretched human body) and then John said lol no and First threw a tantrum lolll

and that was the last time we saw First before this story.

so I personally find it glorious how First is now breezily chatting to John about the shit he’s been up to and like, even tho this whole escapade is about First forcing John to confront his abusive father (oooor is it the other way round?? hmmmm)

even tho this is a shitty, shitty experience for John, it doesn’t feel like First is all that interested in hurting him. he DOES hurt him, not denying that, but i feel like that’s kind of because First doesn’t know any other way of interacting with people?? and like, what he’s really interested in here is just hanging out with John

and bullying John’s awful dad

and watching tv

and being grumpy because he’s not the one currently staring at John’s dick

and wanting to know what John thinks of his interior decorating

and then at the end after John’s forgiven his father and is about to leave, he goes off at First for…..well everything

and 1. First isn’t even annoyed that John won this round, like i said he’s got no more fucks to give, this isn’t about winning anymore 2. a moment of appreciation for John’s phrasing: “you sad little bastard…. you still want me, don’t you?”

oh and earlier there’s this one line where John puts his finger on it

because YEAH, First is so so basic and SO easy for John to read, beating him is like outwitting a potted cactus

Like...out of all the things I could’ve predicted happening in our lord’s year 2021, it definitely was NOT getting hyperfixated on a hammy gay ship with a punk and a nerd from a goddamn karate soap opera. I have never seen a single Karate Kid movie in my entire life. When I was a kid, it looked kinda dumb so I never got into it XD But then I saw my roommate watching Cobra Kai on Youtube Red one day (he has every streaming service known to man) and I was hooked. And...here I am!

And how Demetri was willing to forgive him for everything at the drop of a hat because he always had faith there was still good in his best friend??? That’s TRUE LOVE motherfuckers. Please let them kiss in Season 4. I will sell you all of my limbs. Underrated character:

SAMANTHA LARUSSO!!! The amount of hate my girl gets for acting like a normal teenager and fucking up occasionally JUST like the rest of the cast makes me want to start punching things. She cares SO MUCH about her friends!!! And she loves the shit out of Miguel!!! She hasn’t always been the best friend but you know what??? Neither has Hawk, and we still forgave his ass!!! Also LET HER BE FEMININE but also kick utter ass, my god!!! Femininity should not be synonymous with being weak, y’all! ALSO DEMETRI, like yes, he likes to complain and occasionally run his mouth, but guess what else he likes to do??? Never give up on the love of his life his best friend Eli Moskowitz and refuse to lose faith in him no matter how much of a little shit he’s become, and I for one think that’s very badass of him. Also the way he takes care of Eli pre-Cobra Kai in his own snarky bastard way makes me absolutely Weak and needs more appreciation. Like the dude has charisma and COULD have probably made other friends and left Eli behind if he wanted, but did he??? No, he wants the weepy loser with the lip scar in the polo shirts and dorky sweaters and will protect him as much as his wimpy ass is able!!!

Underrated ship (don’t say therapy, lol):

Among the adults, Daniel/Amanda!!! Like maybe I just don’t watch that much tv, but it seems kinda rare to me to see a happily married hetero couple, and it’s just nice to see a married couple who genuinely love each other and where there’s not like...lingering resentment or some shit. I feel like this ship gets overshadowed by Lawrusso a lot (which like--okay, fair!!! Daniel and Johnny do have a ridiculous amount of chemistry, and the gay undertones are undeniable, so I get it), and it makes me kinda sad. I do love Lawrusso, but I don’t like when Amanda has to get her heart broke for it to happen, you feel? Among the kids, honestly YasMoon. Like I really love the idea of Yasmine trying to better herself because of Moon’s influence on her and because Moon like...inspires her to be a better person, I guess? With their pretty strong friendship, it just makes more sense to me for Yasmine to get a redemption arc through Moon than through Demetri. ALSO girls DO often pull the whole “mean girl” shtick to cover up being closeted lesbians, and Moon IS canonically bi, so it could work!!! I just think this one could be a really interesting Friends to Lovers take, and could make a really nice coming-out arc for Yas. And MoonPiper too, honestly!!! Like they only got 5 seconds of screentime so I understand WHY it’s underrated, but I still love what we DID get and loved that there was a canon gay ship (even if only for 1 scene lmao). I’m really excited to potentially see more of them in Season 4!!! Please, I’m begging!!!

Sweep the Leg because it will always be deeply hilarious to me how Demetri took note of the first move Eli ever used on him and spent presumably weeks perfecting it OUT OF SPITE just to get him back with it at the soccer game MONTHS later. Just goes to show how OBSESSED Demetri is with Eli and their little karate rivalry which is just NOT straight, I’m sorry

Which of Daniel’s dumb little outfits is your favorite?

There’s something so funny about this pretentious little fuck walking around in fancy suits once he becomes a #SuccessfulBusinessman, and still occasionally trying to do karate in a full-ass suit (take THAT, Tom Cole’s boba!!!) I’m also a big fan of how he looks in his gi with his little headband. Still killing that look as a 40-50-something!!!

Tbh I have still never seen a single Karate Kid movie (they took them off of Netflix, RIP), so...I don’t really care if they bring anyone else back??? You know what would be fucking funny as hell would be an It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia crossover. Allow me to elaborate: ~The Gang goes to LA on vacation during the height of the Karate Dojo Wars. They literally can get barely anything done without all these goddamn karate-fighting teenagers getting in the way. ~They are all very annoyed by this. Even the most obscure of tourist attractions is eventually intercepted by karate fights. ~Mac tries to join Cobra Kai because he sees all this karate fighting on, and wants to unquestionably prove both his badassery and masculinity. Both Johnny and Kreese are like “Wtf are you doing here? Aren’t you like 30?” ~Mac gets a planet-sized crush on Johnny after all of 5 minutes and endlessly gushes to the gang about him. The gang mercilessly roast him about this and about how much of a pathetic loser with his life together in no way whatsoever Johnny sounds like. They proceed to have exactly 0 self awareness about this. ~The Waitress is in town visiting family or something, and Charlie is stalking her, as per usual. However, every time he’s about to go up and talk to her, a pack of battling Miyagi-Dos and Cobra Kais throwing punches and kicks everywhere blocks his path. One times, Mac is among one of these packs and Charlie is like “???? He didn’t get kicked out of that teen karate dojo yet???” ~Seeing how much the Kids These Days seem to like fighting, Charlie drops by a local high school to try and sell Fight Milk to the kids doing karate. Only Kyler and Brucks buy into it, and subsequently get the entire West Valley High wrestling team sick. Charlie is inevitably arrested, as Counselor Blatt thinks he’s selling the kids drugs. ~Dennis makes a plan to have sex with every hot chick he can in Los Angeles. He meets Ali on a dating app post-divorce, and inevitably tries to bang her. It doesn’t work. ~Frank crashes the rental car, and inevitably the gang ends up at one of Daniel’s dealerships. Dee quickly takes a liking to Daniel and is like “Watch, assholes--Imma homewreck this guy’s marriage.” She starts frequenting the dealerships to attempt to flirt with Daniel, until one day she walks in on him having sex with Johnny in a back room and she’s like “Is that the guy from Mac’s goddamn dojo?!?!” ~Dennis, of course, tries to sleep with Amanda. Amanda is not having it, and rebukes him in the most snarky, Amanda-esque way possible. Dennis is just like “Oh not AGAIN--the women in this goddamn diva city have too high of standards!” ~Later on, the gang is at the beach and Dennis spots the blonde lady he went out on an ill-fate date with, and decides to give it another shot--that is, until he sees her go up and kiss another woman and he’s like “IS THAT THE LADY FROM THE CAR DEALERSHIP??? STUPID-KARATE-KICK-COMMERCIAL’S WIFE?!? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.” ~Dee complains to Dennis about her lack of luck getting laid, and Dennis is just like “Oh come ON, is everyone in Los Angeles gay???” Smash cut to Hawk and Demetri having sex, Moon and Piper making out, Bert and Nate holding hands, Chris and Mitch doing oral, and Amanda, Ali, and Carmen having a threesome. ~Frank tries to scam Kreese into buying cheaply-made karate equipment for his dojo. The gang ends up having to leave LA because Kreese is quite literally plotting all of their murders.
