Loki and Thor's goofy antics within the Avengers group would be amazing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wish I had the time to write a tower fanfic. Ahhh id let Loki run missions with Thor and have goofy antics with the og members. 😔 He needs his own friends though, bro would probably still see it as a warriors 3 situation, "living in the shadow of [Thor's] greatness".

Challenge accepted. Stay tuned folks 🤣
There should be a fanfic writing game called the showrunners challenge where someone writes a story and partway through someone else can play things like "actor leaves after 4000 more words" or "topic now too politically sensitive due to unforeseen world events" or "lost rights to that reference"

Hi, do you still draw requests? Bc I absolutely love your style, it's so gorgeous and I miss frostiron. I don't even care what it will be, them being sweet, or them being horny or edgy or anything really. Pretty please?

Amazing cosplay!
“𝙄’𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢

I took a whirlwind trip to NYC last weekend for non cosplay reasons, but being there always makes me think of this Loki excursion to one of the Avengers shooting locations! I super want to go back now that I have the actual Avengers armour instead of Dark World 👀

And I was just sharing this series with my bro, who’s also become a fan. Heck yes! I love Pine and his double-edged inclination toward “realism” while living a false identity.
This is spy thriller done right.
“The Night Manager” is returning for two brand-new seasons from the BBC and Prime Video, with Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Jonathan Pine.
Filming is expected to begin later this year on the revival of the hit drama series, which is inspired by the characters in John le Carré’s bestselling novel of the same name. The new episodes of “The Night Manager” will pick up with Jonathan Pine eight years after the explosive Season 1 finale.
Series creator David Farr will pen the new seasons, with BAFTA winner Georgi Banks-Davies (“I Hate Suzie,” “Paper Girls”) attached to direct all six episodes of Season 2. Stephen Garrett is returning to lead production, and Hugh Laurie (“All the Light We Cannot See,” “Veep”) will executive produce.
Premiering in 2016, Season 1 of “The Night Manager” won two Emmys and three Golden Globes, including best actor for Hiddleston. It was watched by 10 million viewers in the U.K. alone, making it one of 2016’s most popular shows.
Ink Factory is producing in association with Character 7, Demarest Films and 127 Wall, in co-production with Spain’s Nostromo Pictures. The new seasons will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the U.K., and on Prime Video elsewhere. The deal for the series was negotiated by Fifth Season, which is handling global distribution rights.
Additional executive producers include Garrett for Character 7, Banks-Davies and Hiddleston; Joe Tsai and Arthur Wang for 127 Wall; Stephen and Simon Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff and Tessa Inkelaar for The Ink Factory; Adrián Guerra for Nostromo Pictures; William D. Johnson for Demarest Films, Nick Cornwell, Susanne Bier and Chris Rice for Fifth Season and Gaynor Holmes for the BBC.
“The first series of ‘The Night Manager’ was one of the most creatively fulfilling projects I have ever worked on. The depth, range and complexity of Jonathan Pine was, and remains, a thrilling prospect,” Hiddleston said in a statement. “I’m so looking forward to reuniting with Simon and Stephen Cornwell, David Farr and Stephen Garrett, and to working with Georgi Banks-Davies to tell the next chapter of our story. I can’t wait.”
Added Farr, “John le Carré’s work has long been an inspiration to me and working closely with him on Season 1 was an honor and a pleasure. I did not tread lightly into extending ‘The Night Manager’ beyond the original book, but an idea came to me a couple of years ago which felt truthful to that unique world of dark corners and shady identities. No one marries the suspense of espionage with a deep exploration of the human soul quite like le Carré. I hope that in some way we can pay homage to his uneasy genius in this new exploration. I am thrilled to be working again with Tom Hiddleston, Stephen Garrett and The Ink Factory team, and to be welcoming the brilliant director Georgi Banks-Davies into our ranks.”

Keeper of Yggdrasil
I have a lot of Thoughts about the Loki series as a whole BUT the visual of Yggdrasil and the timelines was absolutely stunning, so I knew I had to do a rendition of it with a new costume. I loved the idea of Loki physically becoming part of the Tree, with all the branches washing over him like veins, obscuring old pieces of armour and melding with his true Jotun form. (and of course I had to do a glowy eyes version!)

Lmao you’re an adult, you shouldn’t be using the word squick. Use trigger. Use your grown up adult words to explain how you feel instead of leaning on a cutesy uwu term that no one outside of tumblr uses. It’s embarrassing.
Idek if this is serious or ironic honestly

Yeah, expressing, “He should be flogged,” is very different from expressing, “I’ll have him flogged.”
There are so many moments that Loki could have punished someone out of wrath, and he never does. He sent the Destroyer in T1 to stop Thor’s buddies from committing treason against the crown bringing his warmongering brother home while Laufey was mobilizing and Odin was asleep, but even it didn’t do more than its duty. IIRC it only swatted Thor for being irritating.
Loki had nigh-unlimited sovereign power over his unwilling servants in Avengers 2012, yet he seemed to treat Selvig and Clint with an enormous amount of respect. In the deleted scene when Loki tells the Other that the Chitauri aren’t doing a good job conquering New York, he merely seems sad. He never expresses anger about his failing army, or his ultimate defeat. (Headcanon that he turned the Chitauri into a shooting gallery on purpose, but that’s beside the point.)
This is someone defined by empathy and restraint, likely because he knows what it feels like to be treated as less-than and refuses to continue the cycle of abuse.
I can’t figure out which vice fits him, either.
too many people out here thinking Loki’s vice was pride. No, Thor’s vice was pride. Loki’s was envy.

going insane over the prospect of casual intimacy. like taking a bath together and sitting in between their legs while they wash your hair, press soft kisses to your cheek, neck and shoulders. just leaning your head back into the crook of their neck and relaxing as they hold you and trace lines across your skin.

The Loki show feels flat because it doesn't contain universal fantasies?
I didn't dislike the Loki show, but I wanted it to be much better than it is. The only bits I've rewatched multiple times are the S2 finale, the episode with multiple Lokis, and that part where Loki (finally!) unleashes his magic on a runaway hunter.
I think I've figured out why. Those are some of the few moments when the show gives us a universal fantasy–that is, a juicy storyline appealing to our fondest desires.
Universal fantasies can be positive or negative, either giving us a vicarious taste of our dreams or implicitly agreeing that we're unfairly treated by those around us. They include favorites like "Lost Heir", "Secretly a Wizard", "True Love", and "Trouncing the Competition", along with "The Innocent Prisoner" and "Targeted by Those in Power". In general, the more universal fantasies a writer adds to their story the more compelling the story becomes.
In learning about them over the past month, I realized that the three moments I like most from the Loki show are all focused on universal fantasies. The finale is "Ascension to the Throne", the multi-Loki episode offers "Lone Voice of Reason", and the one where Loki shows off his magic is a moment of joyous "Trouncing the Competition". Other than those ... I'm struggling to come up with universal fantasies explored in the show. It's almost as though the writers went out of their way not to include any.
Show Loki's just an average guy within the TVA. He's not "Burdened with Glorious Intellect", or "The Most Talented", and is explicitly not the most powerful Loki. Rather than "Getting a Glow-up", he's even stripped from his interesting clothes and given a single boring outfit. He spends the vast majority of time unable to use magic. He's not even unjustly treated by the people he relies on, unlike in the larger MCU; there's nothing special about him, either good or bad, except during those three moments.
Am I wrong, here? Do you agree/ disagree?
