While watching season 12 of Supernatural, my husband and I got to "The One You've Been Waiting For," shortly before the boys storm in to rescue the girl and kill Hitler. Then this happens...

...and my husband gets this wide-eyed, gleeful look. Then, of course, Sam convinces Dean to set the grenade launcher aside for the moment, leading my husband to look at me.

"PLEASE tell me he eventually gets to use that!"

I tried to hold in a laugh but failed and said, "Mayyyybe..." 🤣

Guess who's finally getting a laptop?

More like guess who can finally afford a laptop...I'm just excited to have a laptop after almost 15 years of not having one. I do all my web stuff on my phone, which feels weird, as someone who's old enough to have grown up without smart phones.

I started playing Subnautica a couple days ago (thank you, Steam Spring Sale), and I've been loving it overall! And, um...I caught a fish...

...named Reginald.

At least, that's the species name the game gives it.

But the other species names are things like Stalker or Peeper, or slightly more detailed like Rabbit Ray.

I took a look at TV fandoms* that have a lot of fix-it fanworks on AO3. Tagging varies a bunch by fandom and the type of event fans are responding to, so I looked at a bunch of different types of tags. I'll be doing deeper dives into some specific fandoms in future chapters.

My husband has become...oddly attached to Crowley.

We're at the end of season 10, and multiple times since the attempt to cure Crowley back in season 8, my husband has said, "I think he just wants a friend," multiple times.

The question is... how do I not tell him Crowley kicks the bucket later in order to save Sam and Dean?

I love and hate being cold.

I hate it because I feel cold.

I love it because it means I get to use one of my vast collection of soft, fluffy blankets and snuggle up without worrying about becoming a pile of sweat. 💜
