Here’s a random blurb I wrote based on something that popped into my brain! Hope you enjoy :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The hero walks slowly toward the villain. The pair’s breathing ragged as the two catch their breath mid fight.
“I gave everything to you”
“And I gave everything back! You didn’t want a broken piece of shit sitting on your front porch, now did you? I gave my entire self over to you, and for what? For you to stab me in the back the minute things got hard?”
“That’s not how it went and you know it.”
“Really? Well that’s how I remember it. I clearly loved you.”
The villain stalks closer to the hero, the shadows on the walls growing.
“And you didn’t give a fuck about me.”
Shadows fill the room and the villains eyes glow a bright red.
“and I hate to tell you, but I’m the one who controls the shadows.”
A chair flies onto the wall right next to where the hero stands. Shattered pieces line the floor.
So I haven’t been on here in a hot second, but I’ve decided to just throw all my stuff here.
I’m Cory! A 21 year old who identifies as she/her. I love anything and everything a nerd could love, Star Wars, Supernatural, Marvel, etc. (especially right now I’m into Hunger Games).
I’m planning on writing/creating more often, and would love to post stuff that y’all are into! So, feel free to let me know what you’d like to see, or just to get to know one another. :)
I finally watched The Sound of Music and like I get it now, I get it.
It’s a beautiful two hour love story of a strict man finally opening his heart again and then a fifty minute public service announcement to hate the nazis. Brilliant.
look, i dont care what directors say in behind-the-scenes or interviews, if they dont present that information in the film, they are bad story tellers. like, we had to assume everyone attended your comiccon panel? like? no. you are bad at story telling. if a character appears with zero context, it is confusing. i am not saying spoon feed the audience, but goddamn, there are plot devices that should be there to explain why that character showed up. not just information from your twitter. i shouldnt have to absorb five layers of media for your film to make sense
